Pathetic service after sales

Eureka Forbes Aqua guard folks are real stupid. Ones they sale product they are done with their job. Customer has to go here and there to get the service. Their service franchisees are real !!!.
I have purchased Water Purified last year in the month of July 2007 which includes two free services. including changing of carbon and Candle-Filter.
I have received first service after 10...

I have purchased the following Eureka Forbes Product: EUROAIR GENEUS Vides receipt no 311; 024736 dated 20/10/2008. The payment was made by Cheque no 168020, Central Bank of India, Dated 20/10/2008. The product was delivered to us after 2 days.

However, no demonstration of the product has been given to us till date. This is especially with respect to the maintenance aspects of the product.

We were assured of a free service card with the product along-with a free gift. However, the promises made at the time of sale have not been delivered by the sales person till date.

We have not even been provided with the invoice of the product (including the Company bill & warranty card) by the sales person till date.

I have been trying to contact the sales person as well as the area manager (Mr Manoj Pandey, Tel: [protected]) repeatedly, but, they are not receiving my calls (on mobile) and when contacted on the company phones, are forever busy in some company meeting as told by the reception staff.

The sales man has pushed us into purchasing the product with the lure of freebies simply to improve the sale statistics before the closing date. The after sales attitude is extremely contemptuous of the consumer sensibilities and humiliating in nature.

I regret having purchased the eureka forbes product not because of the quality of the product but because of the attitude of the staff.

    Dear Sir,
    We bought an Aquaguard Total RO product on dated 18-March-2008 from A-8, Rani Bhawan NIT Faridabad having Receipt No.018777.
    Now regarding the problem which I am facing right from the purchase of your product. I have registered problems so many times & Executive entertains us after 15~20days after reporting the problem.This has been repetitive 5times since I bought this product.
    Now the Warranty period is about to finish in next five months & still the problem is Unsiolved.This will lead to exaust of Warranty period & product unattended.
    Pl. Look into the matter asap & Exchange this product with new-one otherwise I would be having no option left other that consumer court.

    Eureka Forbes/Aquaguard Total RO — Not received complete accessories of the product

    I have purchased the “Aquaguard Total RO” in April-2008. The executive name who sold me this is Mr. Pankaj Dhingra from Ghaziabad (U.P.). While doing the product installation at my home I have been told that right now we do not have the bottle for cleaning the water tank of the RO plant and this solution bottle will be provided to you within a week.

    But up till now I have made several calls to the customer care and the executive (Mr. Pankaj Dhingra) itself for providing the cleaning solution but I have never received a satisfacory response from them. Evertime they told me that you receive the solution within 2-3 days but uptill now I have not received that.

    How can you help me in this case.

      Dear Sir,

      Sub : Malfunctioning of Aquaguard Booster Water Purifier.

      While I convey my due honour to your good self, I apologize to express my utter displeasure to let you apprise of the mode of functioning of the Customer Service Centre, located at Guwahati which has exhibited a rare instance of gross negligence and indifferent attitude to rectify the faults detected in the water purifier, installed just a few months back. Of course, there are several such instances recorded in the website as far as the functioning of the said product o[censored]reka Forbes is concerned.

      The machine was installed by push selling agents of the company against order No.197/ 018107 dated 28/9/2007 and started malfunctioning within a very short span of time which have been supplying contaminated water with odd smell, bitter taste accompanied with black sediments instead and just not consumable at all.

      On complaint, the filter was inspected not less than five times in nine months and the service personnel came to the conclusion that the Filter Candle is responsible for the deficiencies and needs replacement but, instead, the candle was merely cleaned during their every visit. It is un-becoming on the part of a reputed Company.

      Sir, with utter dismay I noticed that the filter candle, is of very shabby appearance, as if it served for not than three years while that of mine is of just 9 months old it has been hardened to its extreme and not capable of extract and supply the filtered water even with an adequate flow apart from contaminated smell and sediment. But, till the service personnel are indifferent and not feeling the indispensability of replacing the candle, in contrary they have been trying to let the purifier work in the same manner till the expiry of the stipulate Warranty Period, as so understood? can this sort of attitude be termed as so called Warranty ? I am scared about as to whether the purifier as a whole is an old and aged one and I was just made a goat of sacrifice, very shameful, indeed.

      It was last attended on 29/7/08 and from the next day it has returned to its earlier stage. It is indeed harassing for me and apparently, their reluctance to redress my grievances stands substantiated. As a conclusive resort I have the honour to solicit your kind intervention so as to ensure that the purifier is rectified by any means if requires by replacement, forthwith, without applying the odd and mal-intention to work the machine in its defective status till the expiry of warranty, violating the warranty rules.

      On 08.02.06. I have purchased an AG Classic water purifier. Following the expiry of the free servicing period I opted to accept the annual maintenance contract scheme offfered by the company and everything was going on smoothly. But in the third quarter of 2008 when some maintenance was required, the service center requested for the renewal of the AMC first, accordingly I went to the service centre and paid Rs.800.00, as asked for, on 10.10.08.Yet afterwards, when I did not receive attention, I talked to the local Manager of the Forbes who informed me that they have discontinued authorisation of the said Franchisee and shifted to another firm. He does not know about the payment I made and if I want the service any more, that may be obtained from the new Franchisee on cash payment.
      This is in my openion, is breach of trust and loss to me & my family members.

      Water Purifier (Inova) — Non Attending Fault

      I have service contract w.e.f. 06/11/2008 to 05/11/2010.A defect in machine has arised. Your service centre tried to rectfy it but cold not rectified. Now they are not atteding it inspite of my repeated telphones.Teliphone no of service centre at Dehradun is 2772659.

      Eureka Forbes / Aquaguard — Malfunctioning water purifier not attended

      I purchased Aquaguard Infinity water purifier approx. 6 months ago. The water purifier is now malfunctioning. Water keeps dripping from the outlet of water purifier even after the power is switched off.
      I had been lodging complaints from 27/12/2010, however, the water purifier is yet to be rectified. Also, the company has not yet furnished original invoice for the water purifier.
      Service request numbers with dates are as below;
      1. 84087900 dated 27/12/2010
      (Technician came on 28/12/2010, but could not repair the machine)
      2. 84112170 dated 01/01/2011
      3. 84154064 dated 08/01/2011
      4. 84160899 dated 09/01/2011
      5. 84183973 dated 12/01/2011
      6. 84200521 dated 15/01/2011 (As per call centre, complaint for defective part was recorded on complaint no. 4 )

      The call centre where complaint is lodged keep giving assurance that the service personnel would attend the problem tomorrow. However, nobody turns up.

      At the outset I would like to convey my New Year greetings.With due apology I do hereby regret to inform you of the poor response of your service providers based in Jorhat, Assam.After repeated calls from our side they would neither respond nor would attend calls to redress our grievance. An RO (Enhance)which was sold to us through the selling agents of Jorhat office has been asked to replace with "Reviva" as the earlier model's technical specifications is not supporting our water supply system. But to our utter displeasure the RO has been lying unused since July and your regional service providers has been turning deaf ear to our requests. this is for your kind information and necessary action. and if further negligence still continues from your side the matter will be pursued to your higher authorities.

        I have purchased one Euroclean Vaccum Cleaner- Euroclean Ace model, on[protected], through the home dlivery system at Jaipur, Rajasthan. One of the attachments -ALL SURFACE CLEANER has been found to be defective as it does not fit with the instrument. This was pointed out by the company representative himself, who promised to replace it within two days. As this is the attachment which is used for more than 70% household operations, it was the one most needed at this time of festival. Despite several reminders the company representative has neither replaced it nor contacted, and now he does not answer the calls.
        The company should be concerned about how a defective piece was packed and supplied, and also about the poor and dismal response of the service providers who simply forget to respond after getting the payment.

          On 19.07.2008, I made payment of Rs 8600/- to Mr Balwinder Singh, a Door to Door salesman of M/s Eureka Forbes Ltd towards purchase of Aquaguard Total Nova model under exchange scheme.

          The company has not issued Invoice and Guarantee Card to me after a regular followup with their Salesman and Divisional sales office at Panchkula.

          The company is also not attending to my complaints.

          Strict action must be taken against such company.

            I am to draw your attention to the subject mentioned above and to state that I am using Aquaguard Nova for a long time.But i am constrained to say that your after sales service is deteriorating day by day.This is due to the fact that you are appointing franchises who are totally incompetent.They have no infrastructure to serve your customers and mostly ill equipped to handle the repair job.Your reputation is suffering badly as you leave your hapless customers at the mercy of these incompetent people.
            I hereby narrate my outgoing experience to establish my point.
            Your present franchise ia Mr.Jayanta Chattopadhyay of 29, L Road, Belgachia, Howrah-711108 whos is supposed to render service to me.My Aquaguard went out of order on 14.10.08.I lodged a complaint with the franchaise on 15.10.08 and he assured to send a mechanic on that date at 6PM.I rushed back to residence before 6 PM on that day so that your mechanic can carry out his job.But he did not turn up.I again contacted your franchaisee on 16.10.08.He sent a mechanic on that day.After checking up the machine he opined that the circuit board needed replacement.He assured me to do the job on the next day and accordingly I took a day off.But to no avail.Neither your franchiasee would semd any communication to me.I gain rang up uour frainchisee on 19.10.2008 by 12 noon.But he again failed.He keeps his mobile switched off.So it is not possible to ascertain what has happened.Your franchisee seems to be quite indifferent to the inconvenience of your customer who suffers badly for dyas together.In this connetion I am to add that I am an AMC with your organisation upto 28.02.11.
            I request you to take immediate action against hte franchisaee.I may please be kept informed of the step taken by you.

              i had purchased an aquagaurd classic in 2006 and it has stopped working from last 6 months and we have tried to contact mr rifat riyaz incharge of eureka forbes in srinagar and he further gave us the number of mr akbar whose phone number is2470608, but whenever we are trying to contact him since last 1 month, but, he is only assuring us that he will come and look into ou problem but till now he has not come. so i request you to kindly look into the matter.

                Sir,
                I am very sorry to say that I am very much uncomfortable with the service of Eureka forbes Aquagard. My water purifier of Aquagard require service and I have call many times to the salesman Mr. Naveen and Manager Mr. Gurnani of Hazratganj Branch but there is no positive response. I have calling to above-mentioned persons since purchase(09 October 2008), trying both persons with the gap of 1 days regularly with a hope that someone will respond.

                It seems it is also useless because no one come to my house for servicing.

                Can u imagine how frustrating this is?

                You are, therefore, requested to interfere in the matter and kindly do some needful. We have to remind them in every alternate days.

                I have purchased a Eureka Forbes Water Purifier in October 2008 as I need it for my family health. After these sales persons Mr. Naveen Hazratganj Lucknow visiting time to time my home for demo asking for purchaing and continuously following it up with me .

                As per the sales aggrement they should come for free servicing after 6 months without our call as they say they have record of it.
                but till now none of they came up for this servicing after installation and when I followed that sales guy and call them more than 100 times. Then I again followed up with that sales guy he tells reasons and no proper answers as his company people only deny what sales guy says.

                I dont know how to follow-up with these guys.

                  I am using water purifier of Eureka Forbes and its model name is Aquagard Compact. In last year september or October i had taken AMC from the employee/Agent of this company Mr.Yanish. At the time of AMC I was told that they will change the activated carbon twice in the year and filter too. At the time of AMC he did it and after that nobody came in the hole year as well as I also forgot to remind them because I am getting water from the Aquagard.

                  But suddenly I got a call from Eureka people that your service of aquagard is due so i am sending our service engineer. I said ok. when engineer visited our place He said your AMC was due for renewal so please renew it. I said ok. Then I asked his for the earlier due service he had a word with thier office people and asked me if I will rennew the AMC today then only he is able to consider the remaing service.

                  I said this is fraud how can you say that you will adjust it in new contract. He said I am helpless the only way is to take the new AMC and we will provide you 4 free changes of Actived carbons and filter in it instead of two. But cant do it now without renewal of AMC.

                  I told him that it was your fault not mine. And how can I belive in you people. But he is help less. Even I offered him ok you do it now and I will renew the AMC within a week but not now. so he had a word with his office and said no its not possible to do so.

                  Then I found myself really cheted by Eureka People is this is the service which you people had commited.
                  And its very true when I had spend 6000, 7000 thousand rupees in this equipment I am bound to take your services. Or I have to chenge it and purchase it from other company.

                  I dont know what is going to happen BUT really YOU I Found MYSELF CHETED BY EUREKA FORBES FOR JUST 200, 300 rupees.

                  AND its not a metter of rupees because if I am having an instrument I have to take AMC. It means its only cheating.

                  SO IF YOU CAN DO SOMETHING PLEASE LET ME KNOW OR ELSE ALSO TELL ME WHAT TO DO.

                    Sir,
                    I had purchased a water purifier aquaguard reviva for Rs.12, 500 vide order No:[protected],
                    Date of invoice 24/07/2006 and receipt No:005038 Dt.24/07/2007 from M/s. Eureka Forbes Limited
                    No.8/88, Ground Floor, Valluvar Street, Pallavaram, Chennai

                    After that I have enrolled for AMC vide Contract Receipt No: AG 96 B[protected] for the period
                    from 25/12/2007 to 24/12/2008.

                    I have a lodged a complaint for repairing the water purifier on 05/09/2008 over telephone
                    conversation had with your serivice office, chennai as the same have been taken place and
                    given a compliant No.80583563. In this regard I have make a many calls to service office
                    for repairing the same and so far no techniques has been turned up. Kindly send a techniques
                    to repairng the same as soon as possible, I once again remain you kindly do the needful
                    It is out of place to mention that i have paid so much of amount towards water from outside.
                    Matter may be treated as most urgent.

                    I am very sad to your officials would it paying any interest for repairing the same. It is really very strange to me however being a reputed organisation doing like this even though I enrolled and a member of your organisation under AMC.

                      I have Aquaguard Nova water purifier at home. ( Registered Cell No [protected]...in case Aquaguard is reading!) After eight days of waiting period and numerous calls to customer care Aquaguard Technician turned up but needless to say not at the scheduled time! He diagnosed the fault in Transformer ( Rs 400/-)and PCB ( Rs. 1200/-)which need to be to replaced! ( Just like you change any PC card!) Following things raise doubt about his diagnosis ---
                      1.Technician refused to give his diagnosis in writing.
                      2. Technician was not ready to leave faulty parts with the customer.

                      Customer Care also was unable to provide Service Centre details. Customer should be free to go to any service centre in case he is not satisfied with the service or diagnosis of the perticular service centre.

                      AquaGuard — Poor customer care support- AMP 23/6 dated 23/06/2008

                      Hi,
                      I am really very dis-appointed with the call handling skills of people attending complaints at 39883333. For the last 10 days I have been calling this helpline number for installing an acqua guard which is already covered under AMC. So far I have called Eureka Forbes Helpline for 25 times but till now no one has attended it.

                      The following are officers who attended the call who fail to the needful. They have been trained professionally to give assured service but the irony is no one has visited till date to fix the problem. Here are the names of some of the officers who attended the call : Karthik, Anu, Pushpa, Sabla, Pratibha & Venu.

                      aquaguard i nova water purifier — no response for service of system after giving AMC

                      we have given service contract for our water purifier aquagaurd i nova model contract receipt no is 15460617, till date no one has attended the system inspite of repeated communication, we are we fedup with the service contract of the company and we have not seen such hopeless company which does not provide any service to their customer after taking full payment in advance this is my last communication with the company if there is no reply we will go to the consumer court.

                      AquaGuard — Insufficient Service

                      I had an anual mantainance cocntract with one of the agency for servicing my water purifier. Company name (Aquaguard). well to my knowledge every time we need to call the agency for the servicing. However it has to be taken care all by the agency automaticaly. However i pay a hight AMC amount.

                      Last month it was supposed to be servised autimatically however it was not done & when I called the service centre they refused to send the person & said we can only service the product if we renew the AMC again as it was the last servicing for the year. How dare the agency say. like that. I am fed up & went to the regional office also to complian. No respite

                      Aqua Guard — COMPLAINT

                      Its a complaint. I purchased the Smart RO with Order Form Cum Receipt No.[protected]. One Mr. Dilip Kumar sold this to me and promised to give a life time free service letter, that we never received. Resolve the problem asap.
                      Does all the filters (Candles) in the RO system of Aquaguard Smart have to be changed every year? Why is company not telling this while promoting?

                      Is this money making proposition of the service providers?

                      I was finally proved right! Aquaguard Technician had indeed tried to cheat by asking me to replace Transformer and Circuit board. Private technician replaced just the fuse inside and machine was alright. It seems immense competition in water purifier market and recession taking toll on Eureka Forbes! They have to compensate dip in their sell through such means!

                      Aquaguard Water Purifier — water is not sucking out properly and bills and guarantee card not received yet

                      AquaGuard — Extremely poor customer service

                      I had a three years service contract vide contract receipt number 10/15625953 dt. 01.07.2008. After one year, I had to remind them (your franchisee service people in c/630, Koel nagar, Rourkela, 769014. Tel. no[protected] about the type of service they had to render during the first year of contract.But they took it easy. About a month ago, water flowed out even when the system was not activated. A telephonic complaint resulted in the same callous response and the problem is yet to be rectified. This certainly tarnishes your company' s image. I would certainly expect reasonable action at your end.

                      AquaGuard — Non receipt of Warranty and operating manual

                      I had purchased a aquaguard Platina UV water purifier in Jul 09. Till date, I have not received the warranty booklet and operating manual.

                      Does a customer recourse to legal battles for something as basic as this? Can anyone trust Eureka Forbes?
                      Docket No81986666 .I have shifted my house so need to reinstall the Aqua Guard mavhine in my new house . i have called the customer Service almost 10 times .Response was very poor. they have sent no one for reinstalling the machine.The setvice of AQUAGUARD has become pathetic. Due to the delay i have to buy Water for Drinking which is really costly in this recession period. Aquagurd needs to throw out the Customer care executives and hire more professionals also they need to better their service . Pathetic experience. Any superior from the team just check the Docket number and the number of times i have called youe people whom you pay for no reasons

                      Aquagaurd RO — frequent failure of equipment

                      The RO is out of service time & again. During last one month itself it was repaired twice & the problem is reoccuring.
                      Never buy any euro forbes products. All these people are cheater.
                      Their call center person Ba... Mustafa, does not know even how to talk. They never send service person.
                      Do do not respond any service call, i registered complaint around 6-7 times since last month. No response

                      aquaguard RO system — poor service

                      i am using Aquaguard RO water purifier and i am damn disstisfied with the kind of service they provide in our area. we have requested n number of times to the service department of the same company but they seem to keep a deaf ear towards our complaints. my machine has not been checked since last 8 months and now its giving the poorest of result it can give. i am pretty dissatisfied with the false commitments of the executives of the same company.
                      i would even go the extent to suggest one and all not to purchase this machine in ranchi else be prepared to suffer for the poorest service.

                      i totally agree, same is the case with me, only difference I am in the early stage of misery...no service was done for 15 months and i woke up to realize that no one out there is bothered...i called to complain he simply says sorry!! thats it.                       absolutely useless after sales service..our water purifier is under warranty and we are entitled to two free services..we have called them at least 4 times and its the same response all the time, ' ma'am this is the last time u will call us, our technician will visit soon, we are still waiting!!! and when they want to give a product demo they will call u a million times, very disappointed with eureka forbes, will never buy their product ever again and definitely not recommend to others!!!

                      I have launched my complain and evey now an then when ever i put the complain they come up saying one thing it take 2 working days i guess from 25th Feb till date its become 1 week and havent got any service for the same.And from your customer care people call up saying that take contract for 3 month...we did take that and this is the kind of service what you guys provide us...My complain no:82541273...

                      there have not been even a single month where i have not filed a complaint. this has been from the day i have purchased this stupid product of yours. I have made 5 calls for customer service in this month and i am annoyed by the service which you have given to us. only on one ocassion your employee turned up but doing no good to us. from thereon we have been suffering with the water purifier which you have sold it to us. water stinks which makes it undigestable and we have been spending so much on mineral water cans everyday.

                      If this was the service which you had to give, then why the hell do you take annual maintenance charge. Forget AMC why on earth do you even sell your products. This is like the worst experience i have faced with any product i have purchased. I regret having purchased your product. This is like the last time i am filing a complaint to you. My next complaint will be to the consumer forum against you, if the necessary steps are not taken immediately.
                      I demand a new similar water purifier with free AMC's as a compensation for the service you have provided

                      I have Aquagaurd Nova which I bought in 2006.
                      In april 2009 I shifted to Delhi and called the engineer from the authorised service center, of my area (Hotline services india ) to install the aquagaurd.He recommended that I take 1 year AMC with him in which he would change the carbon once and the candle twice and attend to any fault which may require repair.
                      After the first service (change of candle and carbon) I realised that the buttons of the aquagaurd where not working, - the music button did not play and the water button would trip .
                      Dispite repeated complain in the sevice centre no one came
                      Then on april 23 2010 I got a call from the service centre that my service was due and would i like to renew the contract. Just to get the seviceman visit me i agreed on phone and la-behold the man was there the next day and he changed the carbon and the candle both. When i told him that i dont want AMC he gave me a huge bill for his services and said that i have to pay because my contract expired two days back . He spoke to his office on phone and he fidelled with the aquagaurd and now i get no water
                      The sevice centre now refuse to repair it
                      This is blackmail...
                      i reside in pune.i lodged a complaint 2days back regarding the improper functioning of my aquaguard"classic". i m highly disappointed with the service being extended by the pune branch of the eureka forbes due to the lack of response to the customer nmbr:[protected] and request number [protected].it would be better if heed is being paid to our complaint lest eureka forbes would be losing its customers one by one if it acts on the requests of its clients like the way it is doing these days(specially pune branch)

                      AquaGuard — failure to service

                      my aquaguard RO water purifier has not been working since last two months, after repeated calls to the company a service personnel, was sent to repair and since he could not get it working, he promised to come back the next day and service it.and inspite of repeated calls no has turned up .

                      I have an annual maintainance contract which is due to expire in next 3 months.

I too am one of those hapless customer who bought Aquaguard Classic model and keep repenting for the purchase. I had similar experiences of AMC listed above.                       I stay in kalyan, Thane District of Maharashtra. I made a great mistake by buying Aquaguard e-Nova in 2005. My customer ID No. [protected]. After completion of guarantee period, the company is attending me by sending their servicing people only to extract the cheque for yearly service contract. . The last two year contract was entered in 2009 September. After that till date, not a single person from the company came to service the filter of my water purifier. I really feel sorry for the reputation of the company which boasts about a brand name few years ago. I write this mail to state the pathetic service your company is providing. I will never use any more Eureka forbes product and will paste notice on local trains aginst purchasing any product of the FRAUD company.
                      From 9th of Septemeber, the machine gone caput. On Friday, 10th of September, I made my complaint regarding the same. I got a sudden empty assurance that service person will attend the complaint within 3 days. I KNOW THE CHOR COMPANY WILL RESPOND ONLY AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE SERVICE CONTRACT PERIOD.
                      The machine is not working now. If a service person does not attend within some hours from now, I will be forced to take the complaint for its legal redressal.

                      I agree. I had the same experience. Exact same parts were replaced along with the filter. The water started smelling drain the next day. He had put in a bad filter. After he left, no matter how many phone calls I made to him, he wouldnt turn up. I have written to the service department of Aquaguard.. And as expected they have not responded for 2 days now. PLEASE DONT BUY AQUAGUARD PRODUCTS. THEY WILL ONLY SELL IT. AFTER A YEAR, YOU HAVE TO RUN AROUND CRYING TO SERVICE IT. AND THEY WILL CHEAT YOU DURING SERVICE AS WELL.

                      Eureka Forbes Aqua Guard Water Purifier — Bill not received, purifier not serviced in time

                      I purchased a water purified of Aquaguard Company. I made partial payment by cash and the balance by Chque. The Agent told that I will get the bill only once the cheque gets cleared. After 6 months of wait when i did not get the bill and even no regular service of the equipment (which was to be provided by the company in 3 months), i visited the companys office in Paschim Vihar on 12.3.11 and met Shri Ravi Shankar who told that on Staturdays, the official works will be off but the bill will be dispatched through Courier Services at my address. Miss Shweta will be the dealing asst.. Till date, i have not received a call from the branch, whenever I have called miss shweta, she has only told me that she will call back, but no response is received thereafter.

                      If these kind of stupid services were to be provided by Aquarguard, why would I go for this brand ? Would any official like to respond.

                      I had taken AMC in March 2011 ,in july 2011 my aquaguard nova has some operating problem so then i called upto file complaint and noe till dated 21 aug 2011 there is no redressing being done yet and moreover the date is due for clening bt yet no one is calling oreager to solve the problem .I thought that it wasmy mistale to take AMC.

                      Aquaguard Water Purifier — service poor,no receipts given for payments

                      we have an amc with eureka forbes for our water purifier amc no [protected] expiring on 31/8/12, i lodged a complaint on 7/5/12 complaint no 66604692 , iwas told that it will be attende to in 24 hrs but after two days a technician land up as there was no electricity supply ,was promised to return ilater in the day but no one turned up , so i lodged another complaint on 15/5/12 no 66691329 , when the technician arrived he wanted to chnge the carbon filter for which i was asked to pay rs 280/- he had no record of when the filter was chnged and no job card nor a receipt was given for the amount paid.

                      the after sales maintainance seems like we are at their mercy, they are rude, non compliant, no receipts given for money received, they do not come for regular checkups, come only on call basis, and dont bring job cards to show us what they done so far. i feel the whole contract is an eye wash and taking us for a ride.

                      what should we do except complain and no action is taken.
                      I bought Aquaguard three days before and the installation was done the next day ONLY coz I told the saleman that I will pay 50% upon completion of installation. Within 24 hours of Installation, the main water pipe line got broken due to improper installation. Despite several calls, till now there is no response from Euroka Forbes company. Extremely poor service and the reply I am getting from the Service team is that it is not emergency and will be attended soon. Their tone is totally different after collecting full payment. I am considering a case against the company in Consumer court against the company which is good in fooling people with their hard sale policy but one has to be cautious about their 'After Sale Poor Service'.                       Standard branded products do magical advertisement only for marketing and not concentrating in service, as the RO, UV, OZONE, UF, NANO concept needs huge maintenance if not configured for RAW water purification methods

                      We people create this awareness and we have qualified engineers who FREELY service the Water purifiers any brand any model and suggest you how to maintain it in future.

                        I had purchased Eureka Forbes Easy Clean vacuum cleaner (Chasis No 021454) with one year warranty from Vijay Sales on 19th Feb 2008 .
                        The machine would occasionally function from the month of May 2008. I made a complaint about the same with Vijay Sales Customer service[protected]/33) having complaint number 0805B241237 and they committed that "Eureka Forbes service person will attend to your complaint within 48 hrs".
                        I followed up with Vijay Sales customer service very often. They say that the complaint has been forwarded to Eureka Forbes and someone will attend to your complaint. I also registered a complaint with complaintsboard.com having link:

It took more than a month to get a technician to finally attend my complaint with a commitment to deliver the machine in a week’s time and got a number ([protected]) to follow-up for the same. The best part is that no one answers that phone for almost two months. I kept trying the number and finally found someone to learn that the service centre has been moved and I will have to call on these[protected], [protected],[protected] numbers to follow up. I have talked with many people from Eureka Forbes promising that the machine will be delivered in a week’s time but no luck. I also had a word with Mr. Shiv Sharan ([protected]) who claimed to be the manager of the service centre, he too promised to deliver the machine in a week’s time. After wasting a lot of time and money on phone calls the machine was delivered to me on September 01, 2008.

                        The pain does not end here, I tried to work the machine the next day and it did not work. It seems that the machine was not serviced at all. I made a complaint on 2nd September 2008 with Vijay sales again with a new complaint number 0809B021599. There was a commitment made again, "Eureka Forbes service person will attend to your complaint within 48 hrs". But no one turns up. So I call up Vijay sales to connect me to Eureka Forbes Service Manager Mr. Shivaji ([protected]). He again commits to send the technician himself but asks one grace day because of Ganapati Visarjan. He promised that he will get the machine checked and if something does not workout will send me a replacement for the same. Since it was a festive occasion I granted him the time he had asked for in good faith. But I was disappointed again.

                        Surprisingly, when I called Vijay sales customer service to know the date of the first complaint, they said that the complaint was made on 20th August. This was a really shocking, the dates proved that Eureka Forbes was really efficient to attend its consumer grievances. But this is wrong, I can prove that the complaint was made in May and not in August 2008. I have the phone records for all the numbers provided in this letter in my itemized billing details and also the complaint date on the complaintboards.com website.

                        To find out if the delay is happening from Vijay Sales end or Eureka Forbes, I called up Eureka Forbes Customer Service on 4th September and registered a complaint having complaint number[protected] with a commitment "Our service person will attend to your complaint within 48 hrs". But it was a sheer disappointment. I called up again and asked for a Manager or any higher authority, who could help me get my problem solved. I called up the given numbers[protected]/[protected] to talk with Mr. Anand and instead Mr Bhosale ([protected]) takes the call and promises to get the work done in two days. Someone did call the next day and asked for my address to collect the machine. But once again no one had turned up. By this time, it is obvious that Eureka Forbes is not interested in listening to its customer grievances.

                        The only thing I conclude is, that “Eureka Forbes doesn’t value its customers but only their money”.

                        My complaints in the past have fallen on deaf ears. I do hope at least now, my complaint would not go un-noticed. I wish to have the refund back and not maintain any relations with Eureka Forbes in coming future.

                        I had booked an appointment for Demo of Easyclean vacuum cleaner.I had used form available on Eureka Forbes website.The Appointment was on 9th October 2008 but no one from their side came to give the demo.No one is answering the enquiry as well.The form available on net to book an appointment & the home vist claims made by Company are misguiding people & providing wrong information.

                        This is correct. Eureka Forbes just wants to sell its products. I called for servicing of Aquaguard but after 1 week no body has turned up. The joke is when you make a call they will say "Within 24 hrs executive will be at your door steps".

                        Water Filter & Vacuum Cleaner — not attending complaint

                        I have purchased Vaccum Cleaner and Water Filter from Eureka Forbes. Their after-sales-service is extremely poor. They give false promise at the time of sale. Inspite of making lot of complaints it is not attended. Even the water filter is under AMC for which they charge a very hefty amount.

                          I am having annual maintainance contract with eureka fobes company but even after making heavy payment in advance for maintainance the services are not given properly.For the last two days my complaint regarding complete break down goes unattended.I am unable to filter the water and complled to consume unfiltered water causing severe health problem to me and my family.

                            Purchased REVIVA SMART on Nov 13, 2006 from the dealer at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Despite the assurances, as per the company's policies, for free sevicing during the warranty period the company did not bother to send the service personnel. After a re-installation the service boy kept the machine on platform, which is highly inhygienic and bad for the machine, as well. No body at the Jhansi office provides proper answer or solutions. It seems that the company is interested only in minting money by giving false assurances which is not only bad for company's image, but also may cause problems for the persons who have already purchased the products. The company must take action to relieve their valued customers from such pains.

                              I purchased euro aqua care RO water purifier system last nov.Its still in warranty.
                              Lately there is a water leakage and its not functioning at all.
                              I gave callt o eureka forbes cust care but they are not sending any technician to rectify the system.I called them almost 5-6 times.My complaint reference no is 80632103.I dont know what should i do.i stay in malad east valentine towers, 400097, mumbai.

                                On September 3 2008 I complained that my acquaguard i nova was not working. Was given complaint no.51797834. Thereafter the service engineer examined the equipment on the 6th. He said that he would come the following day to replace the candle and said it would cost Rs.350.00. complained again on the 5th October as no one turned up to replace the candle. Today is the 10th of October.The acquard is still dysfunctional five weeks later . At the time of purchase was told that there would two free routine checkups. There was no checkup. There were two unutilised coupons in the folder "Eurosmile Service". One of them was taken by your service engineer on the 3rd of September. Very poor service indeed for all the tall claims and the blah blah blah...

                                  REFUND OF AMC DUE TO REPEATED NON RESPONSE AND POOR SERVICE

                                  1. Reference Contract receipt no[protected] dated 28 Jun 2008 in respect of Col Mohit Nangia; House no 31-D, Engine House Road, Kirkee, Pune-03.

                                  2. A complaint(26390) registered on 26 Jun with your Pimpri office(Tele[protected] was attended on 28 Jun 08. On that day an AMC was done for an year (Rs 900/- wef 28 Jun 08 till 28 Jun 09)hoping for good service. However even after the PCB replacement the unit again malfunctioned the same day and thereafter it took 5 days for the technician to turn up on 05 Jul 08. Thereafter another complaint was lodged on 07 Jul 08 for carbon particles in the outlet which was not attended till 10 Jul consequent to which I proceeded out of station till 22 Sep 08.

                                  3. Another complaint was then lodged on 22 Sep 08 with tele no[protected]Complaint no 707) and then on 26 Sep 08 vide complaint no[protected] with tele no[protected].

                                  OCT 08
                                  4. Till date no one has visited the house for repair of carbon particles discharge in the outlet.
                                  5. This is deplorable service ethos, quality and response and has caused my house extreme mental and functional harassment over past four months. Nowhere in the country has Eureka Forbes provided such pathetic service; and I have experienced Chennai, Bhopal, Bathinda and Nagrota since 2001.

                                  6. May I request for an immediate refund of the AMC amount(Rs 900/-) and suitable remedial measures for the survival of your pioneering company.

                                    I am residing at Kolkata (Flat No. 205, Sahana Apartment, 186, B.B. Chatterjee Road, KASBA, KOLKATA-42). I made an AMC for my Eureka Forbes AQUOFLO system in Delhi but after shifting to Kolkata I logged a service request on 24th August'08. I was assured visit within 2 days but since nobody visited I again logged a complaint on 22nd September'08 (Docket No. 61 at[protected]. Service was assured within 2 days but no one turned up for the whole week. I was then given another no.[protected]Franchise owner Mr. Nandakumar Mukhopadhyay)where after daily followup a person visited on 1st October. He checked and said he shall come with replacement parts on 3rd Oct but till date they have not visited although I keep enquiring daily.
                                    Please advise what a consumer should do when a company does not honour its AMC and has to face harassment for more than a month?
