[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Worst Customer Service

Mr. CCO,
I am Avik SenGupta. Presently residing in Japan. I am spellbound with your customer service. What a way! I have an account in your bank at Dunlop Branch of Kolkata, West-Bengal. Details are given below--

After submitting full information of my Visa, I always got disturbing mail or phone calls to my home in Kolkata saying that this persons visa is expired. But till date I have a valid visa and I have not ever extend my visa. Due to this irritating behavior I made a decision to close my account.
I went to India on 25th January of this year. On 9th February I went to your famous Bank and much more famous branch to close my account. Middle person(Fair complexion, 25-30 years, with specs) of three person on front row had guided me to my smooth destination!!! When I told him I want to close my account he told me "OK. Just issue a check or use your Debit card and take all the money". So, I took my "value less" money by debit card leaving a amount of Rs- 43/- as this amount can not be drawn by card.
Today, they have issued a mail that I have Rs- 900/- credit. When my old father went to that worthless bank, the same person sitting on the same position told him, "I don't know who told this("Mujhe maloom nehi kisne kaha hoga")!!! But you have to keep at least Rs- 5000/- in account otherwise you will have to pay fine".
OK, no problem. This might be your rule. I am a customer. Your duty is to guide your customer to right direction, but not to a wrong direction by telling them the half fact. My present account is a joint account with my mother. Now that person told me that I have to produce an application that I want to close my account. I have to send it from Japan. Longer time it takes, much more money will be added to your bank. Application only from my mother is not sufficient. All these are rules. Fine. No problem. But you should make it clear to your customer specially like me who are away from country.
Probably you could not make a solution to this case. If I am lucky enough I will get a "Sorry" mail from your side. Thats all. If you can't handle International customer stop all the nonsense in the name of NRE service. I will tell all of my friends that please dont go for Axis Bank or please go for that if you want to know how much a customer service can be WORST.
Now Mr. CCO, convey this message with me, "Please dont come to Axis Bank. It serves only harassment!!!"

on 29th june 150 rupees has been deducted from acount towards consolidated charges.what type of bank is.if this type of case being happend again definitely I have to close my account in concerned bank.Because no other bank is deducted such type o[censored]nnecessary charges.

i have a salary account with worli naka branch(mumbai) . i have asked the bank in written on 13/01/2009.
to not send my accout statement at my residential address, but even after this request i recieved a statement 3 days ago . this has caused lot of in convienence to me . kindly look in to this issue seriously.

Worst customer service i have come across. Really very frustrated by using the axis bank card. What the hell the executives were working over there No answer for simple queries, they will keep the call on the hold and escape from there. They don’t know simple things also. I don’t know what the training they are provided for them. You have to wait 30 mins of to get any small information. Or else they will disconnect the call in the middle.
Guys please be careful and don’t opt this card.

I used my Debit card to withdraw my cash from the ATM at Vidyaranyapura branch on Date 09/08/09 at 18:40 pm.
On ATM ID S1AC0942 but I received my Statement print (Record no 5006) which shows to my surprice Eff Avail Bal :INR 377.64 as on 10/08/09
I Have my previous balance sheet which shows INR 12500.00 to my surprise today my statement shows EFF Avail Bal :INR 377.64 . In this context i would anticipate by requesting you to clarify the EFF Avail BAL and do the required correction ASAP as this has caused serious confusion.I kindly request you resolve the issue immediately and oblige. Axis Bank Kolkata — Account Debited but amount not came from ATM-Kolkata Sector V

Axis Bank - online DD — No response

I had applied for online DD to Axis Bank on 27 Sept & 28 Sept INR 40000 & 19434 but status showing pending & till now DD has not been received. Customer care no. s busy all the time.
Yesterday i was using icici ATM card in axis bank ATM at ambala city.Transection was unable to process due to atm not working ( not indicating the status on ATM), in this case how the transection proceed up to that step where we put the amount.Means i entered the amount after that ATM says unable to proceed.

please recheck the transection between 7:00 PM to 7:40 PM of dated 09/10/09 and reply on Email or call [protected] for the clerification.

I am much suffering. This is my salary for the month of July, 09 & Aug, 09. Who will bear the loss or Interest for two month of Rs. 38655/-. Kindly look in to the matter seriously.

I was using axis bank debit card since from past three years and last month(october) the card expiry was going get over, The account was company account which iam working in restaurant called barbeque nation, i left the job from march 2009, but after that also the card was working properly.But in october month i given my card to axis bank branch (koramangala, Bangalore)for to get a new card on the same account and i received my card in oct month same.But now whwnever iam trying to take cash from A T M its showing the pin no is wrong.I checked with the bank and customer service botn were telling that the account is still working, on the same time the atm card is not working.Is there any possibilty of chaning the pin no when it gets new.Please let me know what excatley the problem

Hi, I got a 500 rs fake note from the cash i received from Axis bank Najafgarh. I took some cash out from Axis and deposited that in HDFC Bank. The HDFC bank received the cash and told me about that one fake note. Then I went to the bank and told them that u gave me a fake note. The cashier(I think he is the culprit) and the Manager told me that i should have checked it while leaving the counter. On a big amount how can we check whether it is a fake note. If bank cashiers give fake notes then how can we trust on them. The manager also supported and said that nothing can be done because we should check it while leaving the counter. Every time we cannot carry fake note detectors with us. It should be the duty of the bank not to give fake notes. [protected]

I have visited the ATM's of Axis Bank at Industrial Area Phase- 1 Mohali ( Punjab) & Punjab National bank ATM at Phase-1, Mohali ( Punjab) on 20.03.2010 between 6:00 AM to 6:30Am. I have attempted to withdraw the following amount from my subject account through my debit card. but ATM machines at both the places doe'nt responded to my request for payments. I am not a priority customer of axis bank in spite of that axis bank deduct 1800/ in quarterly from my account without my knowledge .i put the application to manager siddartha(salary account sec- 35 chandigarh)on 15 th JAN-2010. but till date i did not get satisfactory announcement from axis bank nor they are transferring my total money whichever bank deduct from my account. please do the needful action on most urgent basis with in week otherwise, i am just fed up of all these things now i am going to put up the case to consumer court for this .

Axis Bank — REGARDING DEDUCTING UNNECESSARY AMOUNT

this is chandan kumar and i was axis bank customer i having student saving a/c with minimum balance of rs 500 only without cheque book that was opened in chennai annanagar baranch in 2004 axis bank and that a/c number is [protected] .
Actually in june month they have deducted rs 827 from my saving studenta/c as quartely average balance whereas in my a/c 918 rs was there and after that also they charged me rs 827 for not maintaing quaterly average amount for that i compalined to axis bank customer care and even branch also through phone becuse right now i am in noida bec iam working in nokia siemens network pvt ltd as bss employee..i try to convience that plz return my ammount after that i will maintain rs 5000 but they told no that we will never revert that rs 827 to your a/c .....after that i simply told them ok plz close my a/c and i am going to consumer court so plz tell them to return my ammount to my icici bank patna boring road branch a/c [protected] for that i will highly obliged to them.. thank you chandan kumar [protected]

India's horrible banking Service, In spite of changing thier name, the service quality never changed, it seems like old dirty/rotten wine in a new bottle (name).

Apart from many other services requested and, no responses received. I finally decided to close the account. But to my bad luck its been 3 months since I requested for a account closure, many customer complains, calls to branch and what not, the account has not yet been closed. Seems like they wuld love to enjoy my account balance (which offcourse is a considerable sum of money).

I swear to god will never deal with Axis bank again and not only that will not deal with people having axis bank account.

I wish there was a way i could kill each person on the axis bank customer service. because when you call them to complain and ask for account closure, they laugh (I could clearly hear on the phone) as if I am a prey in their hands and struggling to get out of their catch.

God saves me and all other axis bank customers.
