Please let me know what are the charges of Rs. 298-22,

further, kindly note that I was out of country from 22.6.2010 to[protected] and while I was in USA, I did receive a missed call from your office and did talk to the person, who told me about the payment due and I explained that I am out of country and soon I return, I will make the payment

although I returned on 25th august, immediately I went to hyderabad and came back only on 5th sept. in the meantime, I might have received atleast 5 to 6 calls about the payment, due to being busy and for the fact that I was not in Bangalore all the time I could not make the payment.

Suddenly I get a sms saying that I need to pay rs. 600 and odd amount. you should understand that it is a Rs. 298-22 is a small amount and you cannot
charge rs. 300-00 and odd, as a penalty, to a person, who is a previlege account holder in your axis bank, Banashankari second stage, branch of Bangalore.

If you insist on paying this amount, I am sorry, I will have to CANCEL this credit card.

I dropped the cheque in one of the ATM centers in city(Near Kothrud, Pune) on Nov end for the total amount of Rs.22,840
Cheque details are : Drawn on : Axis Bank Ltd. (JM Road Deccan Gym Pune)
Cheque No: 671351 dated 8-Dec-2010
This was the total payment as per the statement dated 20-Nov. This payment was due on 10-Dec,2010
Thus it is clear that I made full payment in time.
Now it is mentioned that your bank does not accept post dated cheques; however there has been no formal communication on this any time till date
Also when the bank received my post dated cheque, I was never informed that this will not be cleared and I will need to drop another cheque.
In absence of any such communication, I was under the impression that payment has been made. I realized it when I started receiving messages/reminders
for payment
When I enquired and investigated further I could know the reason.
Your bank also could locate the cheque and cleared it for payment after that.
Now the payment has been cleared and you laso have confirmed it however this all has resulted in late payment.
I fail to understand in this whole process what is my fault for which i am being penalised with late payment

    This is in reference to the Lifetime free Credit Card Scheme AXIS BANK offered me.
    One fine morning a AXIS bank employee calls me and informs me about this Lifetime Free Credit Card Scheme wherein I’m eligible for a Gold Credit Card. He tells me that all the employees of EnCircle (my current employer) are eligible for this Credit Card Scheme. Then the next day, they turn up at my office and call me outside my office to give more information about their Scheme, thus hurting my production time. Although reluctant to proceed with the AXIS bank, some how he convinced me to proceed further with the application as it is Lifetime free. The Salesman told me that I’m eligible for the Gold Card and took all the required documents from me.
    Then came the round of Nagging Phone calls for Verification from the AXIS bank CC team, and I replied the same honestly.
    Today I got a SMS from them that my Silver credit card application has been denied, without any clarifications. Now have these guys gone crazy……first its not me who applied for this Credit Card, its they who offered me this Card, wasted my precious time, took my documents and then tell me that your application has been denied. Secondly they denied me a Silver credit Card, but according to them wasn’t I eligible for a Gold card? Third on what grounds have they denied me a Credit card. I have a pretty good credit history and also my monthly inflow is pretty good which forced their Salesman to tell me that I’m pretty easily eligible for a Gold Card.
    I would advise others not to waste time with AXIS BANK in Credit Card matters as I have heard from my colleagues about similar complaints.

    Axis Bank Credit Card — Credit Card Denial

    One fine morning a AXIS bank rep came to our office for AXIS bank credit card. Although reluctant to proceed with the AXIS bank, some how he convinced me to proceed further for application . Since i already hold Gold credit cards from ICICI and SBI, i gave hime latest statement copy with other details and papers. As per their criteria, i am eligible for GOLD card, and i keep a close check on credit card payments in time.

    Then came the round of NAgging Phonecalls for Verification from the AXIS bank CC team ., and we replied the same honestly.

    Today i got a SMS from them that credit card application has been denied.. without any clarifications but- ofcourse. I called up their Phonebanking and got the same reply "SORRY'

    now i give a damn even if they give me 100 days credit with the credit card ;), but i would like to request all people that TAKE EXTRA CARE WHILE GIVING YOUR CONFIDENTIAL INFOS (especially current credit card statements / Photocopy of credit card and other confidential details ), especially to AXIS bank.
    You may never know in future you may come up with a hefty amount of Bill from that Card, even you have the old card in your wallet. (You must be knowing how Internet transactions is being done)

    Axis Bank really has an awful credit card service. The employees of the said department of the bank are not only nagging when it comes to their never ending queries, but also ill mannered when it comes to answering calls of the customers. I was offered agold credit card ond declinrd also.The reason is really unknown to me as I fulfill all criterions. Is there anybody who can tellme why it was declined. I am, by the way, acustomer of the said bank.

    I wants make credit cards at axis bank
    Same happened with me too. They approached me to take up a platinum card. Wasted my time in filling up useless forms and submitting huge documents. Then came the verification calls (same as in your case).

    Then finally after 10-12 days - a rejection sms, I think the are only collecting personal data to supply to other telecom companies. No interest in the credit card business.

    I think they should rewrite their vision to: "Becoming the most pathetic financial solutions provider excelling in customer harassment through poor insight, uneducated employees and a waste of technology.

        Hi,

        I have used my card to recharge Oyester card online here in UK. But the transaction dint happen as i provided a wrong password. Still, 28.4 Pounds are debited from my account. when will the amount be credited back?

        I am a SBI account holder. I tried withdrawing amount Rs 2000 from AXIS bank ATM located at SHAPUR NAGAR, JUBILEE HILL, HYDERABAD, ANDHRA PRADESH with ATM code SPAN03023 and record Number: 3175 on 31st December 2010 .I got transaction slip with transaction declined status but the amount got debited from my account. Please do the needful so that i get my money back.

          Respected Sir/Madam,

          This is Umashankar Sriram A, i had applied for a personal loan for Rs.1, 00, 000/- almost 10 days ago, when the bank executive called me she promised me that Axis bank is offering corporate loan for McAfee Employees and she also confirmed that after collecting all the documents they will be sanctioning the laon amount within 3 days of time, in the mean while the bank executive collected all the documents required for loan, all the verifications(Office and House) were cleared, and i got a confirmation call from Axis bank saying verification has been cleared and their executive will be coming to the my office and i need to submitt the cheque copies, i agreed the same, but i waited for a long time, their was not revert from them, so today i.e., 4th july 08, i called them back regarding the laon, the bank people said, my loan request has been declined for some official reason, i dont understand why these bank people took >10 days to confirm that my loan request has been declined, by the way i have submitted all the documents which bank required and my annual income is more than their requirement, i have met all the criteria, but even then they have rejected my request, i spoke to the executive, i was not able to get any information, later i spoke to the manager, he didnt give any proper reason for rejecting and he spoke very rudely with me, according to him i have to wait for another 3-4 days for knowing why my request has been rejected, this is way Axis bank is giving the customer service, i had very urgent requirement of money, i had got lot of calls from different bank regarding the personal loan in these 10 days of period, but i rejected all of those because i had applied in Axis bank, but these people had not given proper response to me, my sole request with the Axis bank is please dont cheat any of the customers and dont play with their requirements and emotions.

          Sub: - Hacking of net banking ID & Password - Amount debited from my account – enquiry – request – regarding.

          Dear Sir,

          I have salary account (A/C No. [protected] - PALLAMALA SUBRAMANYAM) in your branch. I got salary for the month of June on 02.07.2009. I went to ATM on 04.07.09 morning 8.00AM for withdrawal of money but I got ATM statement showing insufficient balance in my account. After getting mini statement I came to know that Rs.19, 800 are debited from my account. Immediately I had informed to your Mumbai customer care center. I got massage on your mobile banking stating the same on 04.07.2009 at 10.30 AM. I informed to you and your Net Banking officer personally at your branch on the same day at 11.00AM. I was shocked by knowing that some one hacked my net banking ID & password and Rs. 19800.00 is transferred to Axis Bank A/c No.[protected] (Sayad Akram) through Net Banking from my account without my knowledge on 03.07.2009 at 10.30 Pm.

          Dear sir it is a matter of AXIS net banking’s security and illegal amount transfer. I request you please enquire this as a serious issue and do needful as early as possible. If any clarifications required from my end please contact on my mobile number [protected]. Because of the above mentioned reason I am not in a position to pay the installment of my personal loan in your branch. My family is middle class family and all my family members are depending on my salary. So kindly pursue the issue with concern. Waiting for your valuable reply.

          This is Narendra son of Mr Nataraj, my father recently expired due to illness died on 10/12/2014 we the family members did know that he was having personal loan in axis bank, after 3 months of his death the bank person called to my mom and informed that he was having the loan then they wer calling continously and talking rudely with me and my mom, and after that we paid 1lakh to the loan account and now they are sending the loan recovery agents to my home, they are asking to to pay the monthly EMI, we the family members are not in the position to pay the balance ammount or EMI, we are 3 members in the family, myself student doing ECE, my brother doing his PUC, my mom is a home maker
          so we need atleast 2 year to pay the loan amount, kindly consider my complaint and do the needful

            Axis Bank — quarrterly statment not reciving

            I have account in Axix Bank majalpur branch, vadodara, Gujarat [protected], previous account was [protected], after changing the account no to [protected] i have received only one statement by post, for three quarter I am not receiving the the statement, I personnel go the bank and ask for the statement, I have asked with the bank executive, they have said that the statement is coming form mumbai and they have reminded the mumbai office for this matter, but till date i have not received the statement for the Oct-Dec quarter .I have received the demat statement Oct-Dec quarter on time.

              Dear P.J.Nayak/Mr.Oza/Mr. Swaminarayan,

              Its being a long time since I am writing you but no one is responding form Bank Side and it clearly states that AXIS Bank has nothing to do with customer’s problems.
              When a top people like you are not able to response on time I can assume the work culture of Bank. It may be possible that you are so busy and do not have time to respond such mails however I am sure that your PAs and subordinates have enough time to respond to my mail.

              This lack luster behaviour of your customer service, Bank and your office forcing me to go to consumer court and media and I am telling you in writing that I will not pay any amount today onwards to Bank till I get the decision from court.
              Please send me your mailing/post addresses so that I can ask my legal advisor to send you the notice.

              I apologies for writing such mail however there is no choice left with me. As you dig deep into the matter you will come to know about my problems.

              I have received 2 calls from Bank/Customer care to verify my mailing address so that I will receive the same in 2 days however after 45 days I am still waiting for the kit to reach my place.

              I do not know why there is a delay from Bank in sending the documents? Please check and do the needful.

                Dear All,

                I was interested in taking home loan (construction of house for Rs. 5.5 Lakh) from AXIS bank and I applied for the same in your Delhi Branch. I preferred AXIS bank cause I am having Salary Account in AXIS bank, hoping it will be easy for me having loan from same bank.



                I already deposited the necessary documents to bank.

                Processing fees was also cleared from my bank on April23, 2008

                After that on May19, 2008 I and my wife (Co Applicant) signed all the documents necessary for the Loan along with 12 No of cheques.

                In another next week it was informed me that the construction was made on only first floor and no further construction is on going right now, so requested to start the construction for getting the loan.

                and the same was returned back on 29/06/2008 after one week saying that the originals was collected from Layer who will give me the check for loan which was sectioned on june19, 2008 vide Sr. No AXIS/08/HL/15030.

                Now I started the construction and my construction was almost reached up to 2nd floor, still I haven’t received any loan amount from Bank, and on advice of Bank I already done most of the construction any how by arranging money from local sources.

                Till today I was only getting assurance that it will be done in next week and so on this commitment was done from last 3 weeks.

                So I request you to please look into the matter and please advise me clearly if it is not possible for you to give me the loan, so that I can forget my processing amount of Rs 5618 and in the mean time I can approach to any other bank for the same

                This time if I am not get any response from you people then I will put into consumer courts and I will move with other consumer liability parties.

                  i have account in your axis bank (surat branch gohddod road )and i had register for auto pay from net banking fro your card.

                  During feb'2008 i got bill amount rs 347.00 of credit card. i alreday paid yet i have to paid penalty. from your bank any lady was call me and told me that we will deduct amount in next bill. Still there is nothing clarification regarding this matter.

                  After that i alert and check net banking each 1st date after paid a bill is clear or not? again same matter happen today.
                  this time bill is 3101.00. now i m tired to communicate with your employee. i have credit card from your bank, i have account from bank. what's problem? i need not any extra facilities. but i need not any mess. i am your customer since last 9 years. but i feel now that i have close my credit card and account both. now i am really disappoint from your system and you.

                    Hi,

                    Recently one of the axis bank executive approached our company and marketed their product Axis Bank Meals Card. He said that the meals card can be used on-behalf of Sodexo Meals Coupon and he explained many advantages of the Axis Bank Meals card over the Sodexo meals coupon. He also insisted that this meals card can be used to purchase even a minimum amount of Rs.20.
                    But when i shopped in many of the retail stores, they all said that this card will be accepted only for the purchased above 150. (Even in Spencer's Daily, Mc Rennet, Pazhamudir Cholai, Grace Super Market)
                    They should properly intimate either all the retail stores to accept the card for the purchase of minimum amount like Rs.20 or so or else they should intimate the customers to whom they are marketing such as this card can be used only for the purchase of above Rs.150 or 200.

                      Mr. Amit Kumar (Mobile no: - [protected]) comes to my office on date 4 June 2008. He offers me for credit card (life time free service charge). At same time I am fill up the form and submitted following documents to him.
                      1. Axis Bank Credit Card Application having No: - 4517357.
                      2. My last 3 Months Bank statement.
                      3. Photocopy of My Voter ID Card.
                      4. Photocopy of My PAN Card.
                      5. My passport size photo.

                      But still no verification and no response comes from Axis Bank.
                      5 Days before I also informed same to Mr. Amit Kumar, then he told to me he will inform to me. Today I call to Mr. Amit Kumar on his mobile number but he not picking phone.

                      Today i confirmed from Customer Care, According to him no application submitted on my Name.
                      So please escalate this issue to your seniors because of I am submitted Axis bank credit card Application before 1 month and still your representative not submitted my application.

                      If Axis Bank not interested for my Credit Card, then please return all above documents to me.

                        I have salaried saving account (A/C No: [protected] )with Axis bank last 5 Months. This month, it is deducting some amount as a service or Consolidated charge without any prior notice.
                        Just think, bank deducted Rs. 1000 plus service charge from account. I think this not fair.
                        if I mentioned less amount in my account, then how much money would be deduct. is there any rule, or as bank mood.
                        Really, I am very disappointed with this bank.
                        Account need to close.
                        They need to provide all the details before deduction.

                        I also had same experience with the Axis bank. They have debited Rs:2700 on 31-march-2009.
                        Mine also a salary account and I started it 3 years back. I called the manager and he told that it is for the transactions that I have made for the last quarter. For each online transaction they will debit Rs.50 from account, eventhough the transaction is credit for me. ie, if anyone transafered Rs 10 to my account, then I should pay Rs 50 to the bank.. Strange rules !!!.

                        I requested them to reverse the money, and they didn't agreed yet.
                        If the result is not positive, then I will close the account with them.

I have made the payment of May 2008 bill amounting to Rs 14738.37 rounded up by Rs 14739/- before due date by depositing the cheque in your Calicut YMCA Cross Road branch due to my LTC tour to Calcutta, Silguri, Gangtok during the week with family.

                          Today I have received the statement dated 20th June 2008 and it was found that an amount of Rs 250 charged as late fee as well as Rs 603.76 towards debit interest and Rs 30.90 and Rs 74.62 towards service tax on above payment.

                          You are requested to kindly waive off the above charges and the same may be accounted in the ensuing statement.

                            I applied for a personal loan in axis bank, the person from koramangala, bangalore branch assured the processing of application in 2 or 3 days but after taking 7 days and asking me a lot of documents subsequently, they informed my application is been denied.

                            Basing on their promise I committed to my father giving the money and finally we lost credit at our native place.

                            Bloody fools don't have any concern about the credibility of the customers.? Because they shouldn't commit the customer first to issue loan. I don't know whether we have any chance to take action against them for assuring a loan and not non-issuance of loan by making a lot of calls to my parents, neighbours and me when I am in the office busy.

                            I am very much disappionted.

                            im a private company employee in Bangalore, recently my company has arranged help desk for getting details & applying for personal loans from local Axis Bank. im interested to take loan from the bank, so i met one of the Executive from Axis bank (Koramangala branch) at my Office, he requested me to provide documents like 2 months salary statement, Permanent proof of Adress, PAN copy, Present Address proof & 2 passport size photos, i have given all these copies & i signed on the Bank application also,

                            Later he promised me that he will start processing of my application, will get loan with in 7 working days,
                            till now he didnt start process, & the worst thing is he is hiding himself from the customer (myself).
                            i really getting irritated with this kind of fraudulent nature of executives & poor services, non reliable people recruited by the Axis Bank authorities,
                            i was in a crunch situation for money when i applied for loan, and finally such a hopeless result i got from the AXIS Bank, this shows the commitment of the private banks for their customers, when they completely belief the bank services, really one thing let me tell u for this Bank officials truly responsible for giving proper justification to the customers, AXIS BANK truly deserve bad tag for this kind of experiences from the dedicated customers,

                            so this is my worst ever experience i faced till the date, regarding any Bank service related to financial matters. SO FRIENDS BEWARE OF SUCH FRAUDULENT SERVICES OFFERED BY PRIVATE BANKS TODAY. THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE FOR WHO APPLIES FOR LOAN.

                              I am an Axis Bank Account Holder [protected], on 27th of Dec '07 I applied for Gold Debit Card & got my Current Debit card Deactivated by calling the Customer Care upon your executive's request in Tarnaka Branch,Secunderabad.The executive informed me its a process of 6days & I will recieve my New Gold Debit Card within 6days of time & I can use Netbanking with the same.However,I recieved the Card([protected]) on 7th of Jan '08 & cannot use it as the card is Deactivated & the PIN number hasnt been arrived.I contacted Axis Bank Customer Care & the rep informed me the PIN was dispatched alongwith the Card, as I did not recieved the PIN number I asked her to Provide me the Courier's Name & the Tracking ID,the Rep refused to do so saying its their Policy.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                It is just for your kind information that I have given an AXIS Bank A/c cheque (No. 21932) to “Thomas Cook (INDIA) Ltd.” at Sector-18, Noida branch to transferred Rs 40000/- to my brother in UK.

                                But, the ICICI Bank (Thomas Cook’s Bank) has sent a mail to Thomas Cook representative that this cheque (21932) has been returned unpaid due to “MUTILATION NOT GUARANTEED” (I have also had this mail with me for future verification). Because, AXIS Bank canceled this cheque so in that circumstances Thomas Cook has requested to me to provide a new cheque and as per their request I have provided a new cheque (No. 21934) to them.

                                However, ICICI and AXIS Bank has never returned that mutilation cheque (No. 21932) back to anyone neither to Thomos Cook nor to me and also cleared that cheque without given any information. Because, my first cheque (No. 21932) already been cleared by the AXIS Bank and my account does not have sufficient amount of money, so when Thomas Cook has deposited my second cheque for clearance then it is quite obvious to got my second cheque bounced.

                                This miscommunication/mistake has caused me Rs. 394 as a penalty. So, I would like to request you to take some necessary action against the culprit (either it is Thomos Cook or ICICI Bank or AXIS Bank) and make an effort to refund my penalty amount.

                                I have also discussed this matter with my AXIS Bank and Thomas Cook but they were refused to accept any kind of mistake and blaming to each other.

                                My main concerns are,

                                (i) When the AXIS Bank already rejects my first cheque (No. 21932) in first instance then why they cleared the same cheque later on without giving any information.
                                (ii) When my first cheque has been cleared by the AXIS Bank then why ICICI Bank has not been communicated this to the Thomas Cook.

                                Please look into the matter and reply with a positive solution.

                                  I AM SHOCKED TO HEAR AFTER A MONTH'S TIME THAT THERE IS AN AMOUNT OF RS.18, 287.60 STANDING TO MY CREDIT. THIS IS NOT JUSTIFIABLE AT ALL.

                                  IF YOU REMEMBER CORRECT, I CONFIRM HAVING INFORMED YOU ABOUT THE LOSS OF MY CREDIT CARD IN NOVEMBER 2007 AND YOU HAVE NEITHER ACKNOWLEDGED THIS EMAIL NOR YOU HAVE TAKEN ANY ACTION TILL DATE.
