[Resolved]  Bluedart — Delay In Delivery Of Laptop (Dell Studio 1555)

I had placed an order with Dell for a Studio 1555 laptop and the product was handed over to Blue Dart for shipping by Dell after the assembling process.

The product was picked up by Blue Dart on 7th May 2009, and i was promised a delivery date of 9th May 2009. I was provided a WayBill No and a Reference No, so that i could track the shipment. Everything was running fine and i was expecting the whole procedure to be less cumbersome.

By the evening of 8th May 2009, the status of the shipment changed from the existing In Transit to Flight Canceled/Delayed, Contact Customer Care.

I was fairly disappointed to see this newest development and now i am at loss of what is to be done.

Usually when a shipment cannot be shipped on a day, the courier agency will try to ship it on the succeeding days. But in here, even Blue Dart has no idea about the product shipment. I have contacted the Customer Care of Dell and Blue Dart and as of now has not received any information regarding this from there.

The queer nature of the entire scenario is that, there are plenty of flights plying in between Chennai (where the product was assembled) and Trivandrum (my residence), hence i am dumbfounded by the explanation offered by Blue Dart (flight canceled / delayed).

I do not know what is in store for me the following days. Now even i am unsure whether i will be getting the product in my hands..

Contacted the Blue Dart CC, according to them the package is already in transit, but it is held in the Erode Checkpost..

The website is showing flight delayed / canceled, but they are saying it is being transported by road?

I do not know which answer to trust .. :(
This is further to our several Complaints through phone, regarding considerable delay in delivering the Laptop. As per your advertised policy, we were told that we would get the Laptop in maximum 8-10 days. After 19 long days and several calls, we were told that it can take more days again.
Thay can't say because it is out of Dell and gave me blue dart's no.When i contact them, it is with Dell.
This whole episode is causing us great mental torture and harassment. If Dell cannot deliver on time then on what basis it gets the right to ask and accept the complete payment. .Is the word Dell is Derived from the word DELAY...DELAY..Any way We demand immediate delivery of the Laptop.

Bluedart — Non Delivery and wrong updates

This is regarding the order ref:[protected] and Way bill: [protected] a Dell Laptop that was to be delivered on aug 24, 2009 between 11am-5pm, as per the message sent by Blue Dart. After calling them so many times after 5pm, all they had to say that it has left for delivery and will come, which it did not. The whole day we were sitting at home waiting for the delivery. Not only that. On tracking online without even attempting to come to the destination, they updated the status as - Delivery attemted, but consignee was not available as premises was closed. That is pathetic!! How can they say like this when the whole day we were sitting at home waiting for the delivery. and this is not the first time this has happened. This happened earlier when asked they said they went to a wrong address. Wrong address??!! When the correct address is written on the bill who asked them to go to a wrong address??
I have had a good service from them in Bangalore, but this keeps happening ion Chandigarh and the Blue Dart centre here is highle irresponsible.

DELL — Studio 15 Delivery Delay forever

Can anyone confirm what is the maximum number of times Dell extend their Est. Delivery Date

My Order no. is 0378170. I placed my order on 12th Aug. Sales representative told me that I'll get it within a week. Est. Delivery date appeared 25th Aug which finally shifted to 7th Sep.

Customer Care is useless. Can not answer you except reading there screen.

Sales person rarely pic up the phone and if he does he always promise that by evening product will be despatched and no one can trace him in the evening or for next few days there after.

Bluedart — POOR SERVICE

Document through Blue Dart yet not received, courieer made on 09.10.09 from Kolkata to Patna but still we have not received.Poor service by blue Dart.

Bluedart — Not delivering 3 channel helicopter and making excuses

I am very upset with blue dart. they are asking my address and promising to deliver the day itself.I had to stay at home as there was nobody to accept the delievery. I had to waste my time.Homeshop18 told me that they had already dispatched the shipment 6 days ago.Till today they are making excuses and not delievering the shipment.

Dell studio laptop 1555 — Sending damage piece to the custemor

i am Jabir.TC., i bought dell studio laptop on this month dated 12/11/2009, after that system was not working on 14/11/2009. next day 15/11/2009 i called the customer care and they transfered that call to technical department .that person tried to ready that laptop but it was not working, then they suggested me to replace the whole system . he told me that with in three days our person will call you they will assist you for further things. but i dint got any call again i contacted the customer care again they are repeating the same thi8ngs. then they transfered the call to more than 15 persons. finally one MR.Anubav talk to me he told that you got the all informations are wrong. so system replacement will take 24 days then he gave a reference number 2586909, after that today i called the customer care they are telling we dint know that all things if you want replace the system it will take more than 40 days . then i told them to connect the call to Mr.Anubav. the he was telling i dont know that all things i just forwarded your complaint to customer care u talk with them. he transfered the call but nobody is picking that call for a long time. again i contacted the persons from dell he told me that you will got the system replacement in ten days. but after ten days they are telling we dont know about your system, i think they are cheating the customer by sending damaged items.then finally they are telling that on 16th December if you want the system replacement it will take more than 45 working days. i paid 2000 rupees extra for 1 year complete cover damge protection. i just used that system only for two days (less than 5 hours) . Totally i cheated by dell . anybody can help me on this case please call me to my number [protected].
very correct !! on pricing they charge the maximum possible but on service they use this crap status of flight delay. I am also a sufferer of same, it was my application which has to reach Patna day after of my shipping and they took in total 5 days, they took 250/- as charge and I am sure ISP must hae delivered before...in India govt do not have a policy to penalize these all business...can't do anything else than learning a lesson to not to use them again [;(]

My friend had sent me cell phone by blue dart courier service, but I didn't receive it yet. it has been several days but there is no information available regarding my parcel. I think they have stolen my parcel. please tell me what to do.

Bluedart — delay in delivery of consignments

Blue dart is not a good company as they do not deliverd consignment timely after getting huge charges and mentioned at tgheir sites that incorrect address whereas Phone Numbers are also available at parcals.but to hide their weakness they do that.

Bluedart — dont know business, dont have manners

Well, this is about a credit card delivery.
I called HSBC Bank once on 16th October for a renewal card and they assured me delivery by 20th. I called them back on 22nd only to find that it is Blue Dart couriers who did not deliver the consignment. So I called Blue Dart on 22nd.
I had to call them 13 times to finally get to speak with someone. And when I got someone, I was told that I am not available in the city! Well, no problem. I told them I'll be leaving the city by 24th evening and if I can get the card today. They said someone will deliver the same to me tomorrow positively. I gave them two mobile numbers, just in case and told them this is very important for me. They took it lightly. Knowing their past pathetic services, I still repeated thrice to ask the delivery man to get to me as I will wait full day for him only in the house!
23rd afternoon: I call them to ask about the consignment. Please note I again had to call 11 times to get to someone!
Response: Sir, you were not available at your residence!
Me: That's untrue as I was specifically waiting only for my card the whole precious day
Response: We can't help it!
Me: "Of course I was angry at getting no solution"
Response: Thank you for calling Blue Dart sir, BANG the phone goes!!!
Is this the way to speak to a customer?
...that too after such a pathetic service!!!
Now I'll be gone for a few months; how do I get my card? And who do I speak with? To get what response?

Bluedart — not keeping promise (NOT DELIVERING THE PRODUCT)

I am really disppointed with your services, I trusted your courier service thats why I gave my expensive parcel ([protected]) in your company's hand(blue dart safdarjung,delhi). And also I made cleared that I need the parcel to be handed to the concern Mr. Pradeep Rana (in pune ) on 25th october morning before 3 p.m. As the conecern Mr. Pradeep Rana office timing starts from 3 p.m. , or to call him and handle the parcel in his office. And your delievery boy in pune is fighthing with the concern that he can't deliever before 3 p.m ( even tomorrow, he wont) and he will not come to his office to deliever . So is that your company's new rule that you wont delievery the parcel in mornings in pune? You should have told me earlier or you should put in your advertisements that bluedart does not and cannot deliever in mornings . The parcel is a birthday present and whats the use now . if you cant deliever as asked. The company in delhi promised me that they will deliever the parcel before 3 pm. or to his office.,but the company is not keeping the promise.

This is really disappointing.
The blue dart took my complain postively and they did the needful . Now Iam satisfied with the service.

Bluedart — Poor & irritable service

Such a poor and irritable service from Bluedart. And they don't even care calling back the recepient, if the first call attempt is unanswered. What a stupid answer that a Bluedart customer care can say to a customer. Moreover the bluedart branch is not answering the call, even customer wants to be delivered desperately.

Highest paid courier charge for such a pathetic & poor service???

Its true that they are not providing service on time and in resultant they raise excuses like Premises is closed, no one is there to take the delivery . I also faced same Problem twice and i must say that commitments are Big but work is fake .
i am from pune.very very bead service.dont trust on blue dart.i dont know how bluedart peoples run this huge courier company.because i order dell laptop and bag pack by BLUEDART from Chennai.on 15oct i received my laptop.but i dont receive bagpack. because BLUEDART send my backpack to wrong person in delhi and im from pune.so till that date to today date i dont receive bag.
BLUE DART should have banned years ago.
They take ur and consignee mobile nos to never pick calls from them and never call for any confusion.

The companies websites shows that i have written incomplete address of my home and they not delivered it.
Someone ask these poor people if they cant read english why do they tell us to write our addresses and mobile no. They are so dumb that they dont know the customer value and situation and don't have common sense to call on any no if in any confusion.

For least but not last they have worst customer care any one could have.
