[Resolved] Citibank Credit Cards — Processing Auto-Debit from Airtel on a Invalid and Blocked Card | |
Hi, Since Jan-09, i have been facing issues with Airtel regarding incorrect bills and unable to charge them. I had given a CitiBank First Citizen Credit Card to Airtel in Sep-08 for auto debit. After 3 months my credit card was replaced as validity was over. Airtel updates me, as your Credit Card does not match and thus Auto-Debit cannot work. After 3 months Airtel processed a request for Auto-Debit on the old credit card which is blocked, cancelled and CitiBank processes the charge. When spoke with Citi-Bank rep on the phone, they said that it cannot happen as this is a security breach. Varun +91-[protected] Was this information helpful? | |

Please advise me asap what is happening to my enrollment of the 3 meralco bills in your auto debit facilities. Upon checking today with your citibank officers my request is cancelled. Why is that happen? Please advise. It's almost a month and still no positive response.
