[Resolved]  Croma Retail — Poor Customer Service

This is in response to the rather lousy service I have been facing over the past 2-3 days from the AC dept at the Croma Bandra branch. Infact last week itself i had purchased a Sony Home theatre from the same outlet. I had visited the store on Sunday and wished to go in for the Onida 1.5 ton split AC, the salesperson told me there would be a site inspection on Tues, yet till tday no ones bothered to come. Today Ive made almost 6 calls and the people keep saying 1/2 an hr, 1 hr.

Croma The Electronic Megastore — Non Delivery of Goods from Last One Month

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to your notice and complaint that i have purchased an LG Washing Machine Semi 6.5 Kg WP95163SD vide Croma Invoice No:[protected] dated.15.11.2010 and all the payments were made in full, however it was agreed to deliver the goods by 16.11.2010, but we regret to inform you that as of date we haven't received our delivery of washing machine for which the payment is already made. Whenever i tried to enquire it's been said by the CROMA executive that your material will be delivered by next week due to non availability of stock.

Hence request you please take a prompt action against such a fradulant store called as CROMA.

i applied croma vouchars last 15 days back still i didn't get anything.When i call croma custamer care also there is no reply.I am working TCS only when can i expect my croma vouchers may be god nows...poor servese ...this is the good experience for me.

Dear Sir;
On 1st March 2011, I booked an order for Microwave Model Croma 28L M/W CRAMO121 Conv at Himalaya Mall, Ahmedabad.
I paid via cheque and my order reference number (INV NO) is SLF02A[protected].
On committed date - 10th March 2011 - Croma delivered me the microwave.
But when I opened the box I found below total unusual things
1. Microwave is too much dusty and looked like used piece.
2. In warranty card date is mention manually using pen and that was 17 Feb 2011 which is total irrelevant with order date and delivery date.
Then again a date mention with pen without any authorized signature and it was 10th March 2011.
3. The assure gift is missing in the delivery.
When i complaint to deliveryman he argued that the component is taking from "Show Room's Display" while sales person confirmed that the delivery made from warehouse.
I also complaint to facilitator at croma shop who's name is [censored]al.
She immediately convinced and with in few hours new delivery of fresh piece was made.
I am feeling like "Croma tried to cheat me by vending and supplying used component" but accidentally I caught and than Croma delivered me fresh component.
This incident charged me Ten phone calls and mentally harassment.
A very bad example of your service and name.
In future, I will not suggest anybody to purchase a single good from your department.
Kindly, refer evidence with this mail for bad bad bad delivery.

Samsung — late delivery of samsung 32 inch TV

i am really so upset and fedup and now i realise what a big mistake i have doen by purchasing a samsung 32 inch TV which i had booked on the month of 28.3.2011 and the bill num is 0597, i had booked two samsung 32 inch TV and they promised they will delivered with in two days but after 20 days i myself went and brought one TV with me and another TV they promised to deliver very soon but till now i have not received the another TV and when i go and ask they only give excuses and they dont response to me and till now i have waste my time and money for my taxi to go and keep asking for my TV but they are not ready to take my word and i feel that in the name of big bazaar they are cheating me and i think they are cheating the custumbers for which i am faceing lot of tesion and i am trying to talk with the concern manager or the incharge of the big bazzar but able to meet anybody responsible person on the big bazaar or the express avenue , royepettah branch, hence i request to whom so ever i am writeing the complaint to take severe action againts the staffs who is incharge of this big bazaar and to the stafss of the electronic department and try to solve my problem to get my TV or my money back.

Tata - Croma & Aig — Not Providing Service and False Commitment again & again, MGR Lying

Hi, It is realy paining me too much by observing the customer care of TATA Ent- Croma outlet(Fatimanagar) and TATA AIG . I had taken to Vodeocon TV on 20/05/2009, Invoice No[protected] with an extended warranty of two yrs from Croma(AIG).
My TV was not working since 02 May, So I log a complains with Croma outlet customer care who took the datails but did not log the complains with EW team online. I walk in to the mall on 4 may and personaluy log the complains at mall and taken the copy. The Asst Manager and CC team assured us that the compamins will be attended within 48 hrs as per the policy.
I again and again repeately ask them is it will be done ? if not then what? they only replied it will be done within the frame.

I wait for 72 hrs but no body turn up from the company to repaired on 5th and 6th of May.
I called so many times to customer care , Asst Mgr, Store mgr and TATa AIG Mgr but noe of them taken initiative to resolve the problem. and only given the assurance that it will be done.

On 7th and 8th again I call the customer care of croma but again I have been given the assuranc ebut did not came. I spoke to the store manager again on 8th regarding the same, but I think they just listion and forget.

Finaly I had to walk down to the Mall on 9th evening as I did not received the any call nor the techinician form their team. I was realy surparised to see the mail replied given by Mr Prashana whom I spoke on 6th and he had replied on 9the that to when I walk inot the mall at 5 pm and he replied after 45 min apx and he had pass the bulk on my head. stating that I had not ask the tech not to come which is totaly lies. secondly he is telling that technician had called and I had denied to give the address, which is also wrong.

I just want to ask Mr Prashana that if thing was like that then why did not he relied the same on the same day. why he replied when I walk in to the mall and mall team has created the pressure on him.
I had never had such bad experice in my life and wish to god no one should face such situation in life.
I am doing night shift since last week and could not sleep because of the CROMA and AIG.
I have been harased by them mentaly, physicaly and monetary apart from the service.
I want a written apologies from Mr Prahana - TATA AIG Manager and reimbrusement for money, service and action to be taken to TATA Croma and AIG for scuh froud they are making to the customer.


I can submit the mail copy , invoice and call details I had made with the time apx.
I purchased a Sony Erricson mobile (F305) from Croma the brand name for Infinity Retail Ltd. From their Malad West Mumbai outlet on 04/05/2009 for Rs. 7699/- and with it also the extended warranty for Rs. 250/-. Sale invoice No.[protected]. This was paid by credit card.
In December 2010 the phone was not charging and hence took it to the Croma outlet at Malad West. I was called in the middle of January 2011 to collect the phone. However on checking, the phone still wouldn’t charge. I was told by the customer service rep Mr. Imran Patel to purchase a new battery as no fault was found with the phone and the battery is faulty. I purchased a new battery but the phone still wouldn’t switch on.
I took the phone back to Croma on 24/01/2011 for repairs. This time they kept the battery also with the phone to be sent to the service centre. The receipt give to me bears Repair gate pass no. SO298 complaint no.[protected]previous complaint no.) and 61503100, Item code CM3134, imei no. [protected].
I did not hear from them for almost 3 months. When I went to the Croma outlet on 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2011. The customer service rep Mr. Imran was not available, I was told is on sick leave. Thereafter I visited the store on 16th May and was told by Mr Imran that the phone has been delivered to my house on 8th March 2011 which is not true. He showed me a register that it has been cleared at their end, however there is no record who was the person who has delivered the phone, or any acknowledgement of the h/set been delivered. The repair receipt was still with me. Some other reps came into the customer service cabin and started questioning me as though I am a thief; however they were unable to answer my questions. They even made a statement that since I was not at home the phone was delivered without any acknowledgement. I asked for an investigation on who collected the h/set from the service centre and who did the delivery. There was a person whom they claim delivers the h/sets to the service centre and gets it back from there and even he was unable to answer who he has delivered the h/set to.
The next day 17th May I visited the customer service desk at Croma Malad and was told that they were unable to get any records of the delivery of the h/set and that they can do nothing about it. As I had an engagement I left thereafter. On 18th May I again visited Croma Malad. This time I spoke with Kiran Dasgupta who is usually on the sales floor. He requested for 48 hours to have the matter investigated and would call me back; however I did not receive a call back.
I visited Croma Malad on 26th May, this time to be told by Mr. Kiran that there are no records to investigate and that nothing can be done. Mr. Kiran even claims to have escalated the matter to the store manager Mr. Shivmangal Barai and that even he has put his hands up as there is no policy to replace h/set lost in transit. I was given the impression that my phone is lost forever and that Croma is not responsible for the same. I asked for a replacement phone to which I was told that the model is no longer available. I asked for another model of equal value which was denied.
I am rather surprised that such a big organization like Croma does not have records for the movements of their goods and who handles them. I cannot believe that the phone was handed over to someone without any acknowledgement. This phone has been stolen or lost in transit. This is a very convenient way to steal phones and get away scot free.
I still have the repair receipt and on exchange I have to get my phone back. If the h/set is stolen or lost please replace with another one of equal value.
This is pathetic service from a TATA company

Next Retail Stores — Defective AC LG & ONIDA, Poor services

I purchased one LG & one Onida Split AC on 07.07.2010. The products are under warranty period. But both AC's are not working and from 14th April so many complaints are lodged with NEXT retail store Pali
and with service centers. But I regret to mention here that niether NEXT nor service centers are taking complaint seriously and despite of investment of 50,000 rupees I have to tolerate the extreme heat. The retail shop and companies are interested to sell products and seem to be not sensitive towards after sell services. Customer feels that he has been robed.

Croma, Jubilee hills — Poor service

I bought Nokia X2 mobile from croma, jubli hills on 18/06/2011 and on the second day it got currupted. after three days i took it to Croma center , they said it take 8 days to get it corrected and on the eight day when i called him they said we are sendig it for replacement so it will take 8 more days , when final day of delivery we reached to center they gave different coloured moblie which did want and when did some argument they within four days they will do the home delivery but still nothing has happened. Please look into this matter and give some strict punishment. We wanted that set very urgently but becacuse of there poor sevice it is still getting delayes.

Please let me know if you require any more detali on this.

Croma is nothing but a bunch of CROOKS. Its a shame that this is a TATA enterprise. Ratan Tata should be ashamed of this.

Croma Microwave — no demo from past 3 days

I had purchased Croma micromwave on 30/10/2011 & was informed that I will be getting demo within 48 hours but till date I have not recieved any calls on that.
I had called to the number given to me but I am hearing the music & no executive is picking the call. I had to wait for 30 mins for each call & finallly disconnected 6 times I have tried
I was lucky once & i have registered the complaint but without any reasult till date.
I think this is not the way you should treat your customer by giving some customare care number & he has to listen to music for 30 mins or more which is not safe to hold the mobile so long near your ear.
I had good expectation from TATA but you have let me down
Also I had very bad experience when i went for purchase on BEL road as there was no person to attend us even after our frequent request & also person who had come also did not have knowledge about the product.
i am thinking of returning the product.

Yes! no doubt the customer service is very bad. You keep calling the call centre, because that is the only number available, and may I help you is the only reaction. Beyond that there is no real help extended by either the shop or the call centre. My water cooler is leaking from the day one1 But so for no service has been provided. Because of TATA's name I too got fooled.

I have purchased water filter from Croma stores Aundh Pune on 7th of April and was given assurance that the installation will be done in 48 hrs. Subsequently I made 10 complaints on your toll free no as well as visited Aundh stores and registered complaint to your customer care. I was again told that this will be fixed by end of the day.Week has passed but NO action.I feel there is some thing wrong in the CROMA customer care concept.I also see lot of complaints registered on this web page and NO one seems to be bothered.I hope you will take note of this and take immediate action.

DISGUSTING way of doing business

i purchased a mixer juicer grinder in Nasik and found the lid of the grinder broken. the staff on duty flatly refused to exchange the lid and gave me all kinds of lousy excuses. hope your services improve.

This Tata Enterprise Store CROMA Sucks big time in today's consumer industry.. they may clain to have stores in all major cities in India but must say that their Customer Service Simply Sucks.. Folks my suggestion would be to stay away from buying products from CROMA at all..

I have been following up on a complaint about the product i purchased for about a week now.. but these a******* give a s*** to the customers and addressing their concerns... I am so [censored] pissed off at this moment which must be evident by now..

I am looking forward to some kind of Escalation contacts for Tata Croma in India and need to give him a view of how a customer is harassed by the Services they have to offer..
I had purchased Sony Xperia Sola ( SLE0015798) from Cromaretail Online on 13th July 2012. The product had lots of technical deficiencies (mic, speaker, camera were not working properly and lacked sound clarity also). After several deliberations, the product was replaced on 28th July 2012 which had to be picked by me from their store due to non shipment on time.
The replaced product is also defective ( loose backcover).I went to store on 29th July 2012 as well as had a talk with customer support but nobody is ready to replace my product.This behavior shows that they are hardly bothered about their name and reputation and once they have sold a product be it defective they are least ready to take responsibility of the same.Sony Service centre has also verified the defect and issued DOA Certificate. Still nobody's listening
I am really disappointed with their service
I bought a croma portable AC on[protected] with 2 year extended warranty code (163456). I was given only one free service during the first year. This year when I started my AC I started facing cooling issue and water leakage issue from the AC. On Jul 20 2012 I went to your Southex outlet in Delhi to log a complaint and the customer help desk person (Sandeep) took the complaint and said that he cant give me a complaint no but once the complaint is mailed to the service team I will receive an SMS about the same. On asking that if I dont get the SMS what should I do, I was given the no of (Harvinder ph no [protected] ) who looks after the Service related issue all over the Delhi and was asked to call him in case of an issue. I never got an SMS and so I called Harvinder on Jul 21 2012 and was given a complaint no and the service person (phone no [protected] ) came to my place to service the AC and charged me 350 Rs for the service saying that the service is not covered under the extended warranty, I agreed to that and paid him 350 Rs. Guess what After an hour the water started leaking from the AC again. I called the service man and asked him to come to my place again as the water was still leaking. The person came to my place again the next day and opened the AC and I dont know what he did but the water kept leaking after he left my place. I tried calling him again but he dint answer my phone calls, I tried calling Harvinder but he dint answer my call. later I tried calling the Service man after a week (Jul 28 2012 ) from a different no and guess what he answered my phone. When I told him who I was he said that he will come in an hour and check the issue. The person came and checked the AC and said that as the AC needs to be taken to the service center to be checked and he will be arranging a collection for the same. He gave me the no of his supervisor (Manish Agarwal - [protected]) andasked me to call him the next day to check the status of the pickup. I called Manish Agarwal the next day and was told that as it was Sunday they dint have any vehicle to pick the AC from my place and he would be arranging the pickup on Monday. No one turned up on Monday to pickup the AC and I got an SMS that my service request was closed. I tried calling the no of the Service man and Manish Agarwal but guess what both the nos are out of service.
