[Resolved]  Datawind — Non Delivery of the Product

Hi,

I had ordered Ubislate 7+ on Jan 29th 2012 vide order # PM3959A3DDAF. As per the commitment on the website, I was suppose to get the device by April.

I had made a payment of Rs 2999/- vide cheque # 408079 (Citibank) and dispatched it thru dtdc couriers on 8th Feb 2012 vide docket number H94423464. This cheque was en-cashed by Datawind on 27th Feb 2012.

Since then I had been following up with them, but no response yet.

Can someone please look into it and act, so that I receive the product I had ordered without further delays? If not, then please help me with the refund along with the interest.

Looking forward for a speedy response and quick closure.

I had initially placed for Ubislate7+ tablet through my order Number PMF9534E8C4E in February 2012 and also made the payment of rs 2999/- for the same via demand draft . They assured delivery of the product was to be in March. When i did not hear from the company till June in spite of repeated queries, i threatened going to consumer court to which they finally responded that the product (Ubislate7+) was out of stock and I could go for the upgrade called Ubislate7ci with an added expenditure of Rs 500/-. I confirmed my willingness for the upgrade and was assured delivery within 15 days.

In spite of repeated queries and filling up different forms on line and each time being assured that the product will reach you within ten days, the same has not been till date.

The service of this company is unprofessional. They are neither delivering the device on time nor they are doing the refund. In fact, I am no longer interested in the product but the company needs to be taken to task for playing around with the customers. Please suggest action to be taken.
