Hi
I have sent a DD of Rs 2999 to this company and they said they will be delivering the device by september but still waiting for their delivery. Now they are not replying to the email that you can see in the attachment email. I don't know what to do. Could you please help me what to do

I have placed order “PM736332BB08” for Ubislate7+ on Jan 4, 2012. Paid in advance and after many mails , confirm from them on the payment on Apr 6 2012. From then onwards many email sent no response once in 6 months I get a mail from datawind asking for confirmation of the product or bank details for refund. Never it called me.. I tried calling there 1800 number always not working. Its been 12 months no confirmation of delivery or refund. I am fedup with this company and product when sites selling online, what the point of paying in advance and waiting for the product. It’s foolish I want my refund I am sure there are many other with same problems.

Apr 17 mail received "Your order is in process, you will recive your ubislate7+ approximately in six weeks."
May 18 mail received This is to acknowledge that we have received your Cheque/Demand Draft number 158049 of Rs2,999 Thank you for your payment, Your order is in process, You will get your Ubislate7+ in early July. Your order is in process, You will get your Ubislate7+ within 15th May to 31st May. We regret the inconvenience for delay. "

Please suggest how can I get my money back with interest, I really want to sue this fraudster, not sure with comsumer court process I am ready to fill a case and make some compentation out of this.

I am Joy Lal Chattaraj.
My father, (Jiban Lal Chattaraj) had ordered a tablet (Ucislate7c), made the payment in July, by cheque but they hadn't delivered the product.It was to be delivered in August, then September and still continuing.
On October 1 (after many e-mails send by me) the sent an offer to give an advanced version(7Ci) foe Rs.500 extra on delivery and they would deliver it within 72 hours, time passed by its end of December and i am still waiting. If i mail them the reply is:

Dear Sir,
We will contact you with delivery details.
Thanks

But they don't contact, neither they pickup phones.
The thing is I am Still waiting and I don't get an answer to how long shall I wait!

I have booked for Aakash tablet in December last year and took DD for Rs. 2999/- from State Bank of India Kottayti, Palakkad branch on 7th Feb. and sent the DD on the same day by Regd. post.. My booking No. is PMB98E7AFBA6.The DD No. is 658919. I got so many mails and calls from them but I did not get my UbiSlate yet. Before 2 months they called me and told that I will be getting the device with in 72 working hours. Months and now a year is going to finish. I had mails to upgrade my device to Ubislate7Ci and agree to pay Rs. 500/- when I get it by courier. I agreed for that also. All most all mails I send are bounced now. I never get them on phone.I am a poor man aged 64 with less education.I rthought this will be very much useful. I am unable to afford a costly mobile or not able to buy a laptop.
I wish not to call me for any sitting with connection with this case. I just want to register my complaint before the Form

Dear Sir,
I Mr Sanjay Jain has couriered thru merchant courier ch no 868620 dt 19/3/12 drawn on dena bank for Rs 14995/- as full advance payment for 5 pcs o[censored]bislate7+.
I sent hundreds of mail to datawind asking that they have yet not dispatched the order as they had promised me that they will send it in 15 days.I recd a mail stating that they will inform me when the device is ready for delivery.This is been happening since 9 months and you people have no shame and wasting peoples time and money.
On 22nd september I've accepted the upgrade offer and accepted to pay Rs 2500 for 5 units of 7Ci tablets at rs 500 each and was supposed to get the delivery in 3 working days..After hundreds of email I got a reply on the 8th of oct that you will provide the AWB soon.Today is the 22nd of dec and I have no clue what they are upto.

I have paid that money from my scholarship becoz i need the tablet urgently for my studies n nw my course z also getting to b completed.My mother recommended me to have a word with AWAAZ PEHREDAR , as it had solved her problem that was related to shares .

Mentioned below is the details of the email conversation I have had with Datawind from Feb 2012. I purchased a tablet computer from the company online , it has been 11 months and the tablet has still not been delivered . The support team keeps replying back that the tablet will be delivered in 3 weeks but its never happened. Please take very serious action as I have made full payment for the tablet in March and till Dec there has been false promised made by the company and no action has been taken expect for sending false emails.

I had planned to gift this device to my father on his birthday which was on 20th March 2012 , so I had made the order and payment accordingly.
It’s really sad that it’s been 4 months still and I have been waiting for the device still.

Please keep in mind making a world class product itself does not help if not backed by a world class service which your company lags majorly as of now.

I had sent my cheque for payment of 2999 for the UbiSlate 7+, the payment has been debited from my account its been close to 2 week now. Please see snapshot below.



Please let me know by when can I expect the delivery of the tablet.

I have booked a notebook called Ubislate in the month of Nov 2011. I received a mail stating I can receive the product in 4 weeks if I prepay the ubislate price. So I did the payment by Chequet number 236792 of amount Rs 2900/- of HDFC bank pune. This cheque got clear in the month of Feb 2012 and i was expecting the product in the month of April 2012. But till now 14 Dec2012 I have not received any product nor I received any commitment date. When were i mail to this id [protected]@datawind.com i receive a mail that "you will receive the product very soon" I do not know what he mean by saying soon since last one year I am hearing this word soo. Please help me on this.

I Mr. Ketan Ambavane have booked Ubislate7+ by sending chq. of Rs.2999/- to Datawind innovations pvt.ltd. was cleared through my account on 19/06/2012 (chq.no.235269 of Bank of Baroda ).My booking ID is PM1E997F3A86 As per the verbal assurance given on phone I was suppose to the product in next month. But I have still not received the product or nay proper communication from the company.
Please look in the matter and help me out to get the product or refund my money.

I had ordered a tablet from DATAWIND, makers of AAKASH tablets on 22.11.2012. I paid the amount 4299/- by net payment and they have acknowledged the receipt also. My order no. is PMBD76DFC65 . the order was to be delivered within 48 hrs. but it more than two weeks they have not sent the same. they even fail to acknowledge the email or phone. the company is dead whenever i call.
Kindly make this aware so that no one is duped by the company any more. the company is fraud.

I received an mail states acknowledgement as below,

This is to acknowledge that we have received your Cheque/Demand Draft number 122805 of Rs2, 999 of ALLAHABAD BANK . Thank you for your payment. Your order is in process, You will receive your UbiSlate 7+ in September.

Later Mid of October a mail received saying below,

Please confirm your acceptance of this upgraded offer by responding to this Email within 72 hours. Please note that the upgrade to UbiSlate 7Ri is at no additional cost to you, and if you decide to upgrade to the UbiSlate7Ci, the extra charge is only Rs.500, payable at time of delivery

I there by accepted the offer and sent the address for delivery.

After that I have send a number of mails to get the status but no proper responses are there. If you people not going to deliver then please say that also so that we can forget our money for time being and can go to media and consumer forum for complaint.

But till date i have not receive the Tablet, I called their Toll Free no: [protected], but no one will pick the call, i[censored]nfortunately they have attended the call reply will be your order is on process it will be delivered soon.

Kindly look into this delivery issue or cheating the public on the name of Government.
