    After a long wait of 10 months a device was delivered at my address. As communicated and agreed I paid cod charges rs 500/- As it was 7ci instead of earlier model. Original amount 2999/- Was paid by ICICI bank, cheque - 207358

    but I was shocked to see a broken peace inside the packed box. This doesn't look like a mistake from courier company as packing was perfectly all right but device was broken. Not only screen was broken but when I tried to start it - it didn't work.

    This is a clear case of cheating and keeping faulty device inside the parcel intentionally by datawind

    Worst thing is that all emails are bouncing back/helpline numbers never respond. There is no way I can reach out to these people. Please help me

      I have prepaid the amount Rs2999 for Ubislate7+ in Feb 2012 as an advance booking.
      First they promised the delivery in march, then April, then May and the last promise was in September. (I have emails for proofs)
      But still i have not received the device. Now, I don't want the device any more and asked for the refund.
      I have shared my all required bank details as they requested but they are not responding to me for now one and a half month even though i have sent multiple email.

      My booking id: PM83BA75BF​04

      I'm afraid this is a fraud company and i'm never going to get back my money.
      Can anyone guide me for an official complaint?

          Old repaired, Scratch on screen, No inetrnet Dongle supports,Poor Battery back up , china made tablet Supplied...

          Dear sir,
          Recently I have received Datawind make 7 inch "Ubislate 7 Ci" Tablet, after paying Rs 4,300/- It is Found That the tablet is having Scratches on Screen , It does not support any internet dongle, if connected hangs the tablet and switch OFF. Poor Battery back up... No seal found.I think Datawind has made Big Fraud with Indian customers,and dispatched already used and repaired tablet to customers.They are 100 % china Made product, and same tablet are available in Indian Market at Hydrabad at the rate of Rs. 3000/- Regarding This i have contacted with Datawind for Refund of My Money but they are not Responding Me.I have lost Rs. 4,300/- by purchasing such Bad product which is supplied By Datawind Innovation Ltd.Please Help me for Refund.

            I had paid for delivery of my product in April.

            Since then, I have received assurances that delivery will be completed in 'early July' an 'August'. However no communication has been received by me in this regard.

            It is now end October and this delay is unacceptable. Kindly also note that all calls to your toll free go unanswered.

            Kindly address the issue immediately and if the company is unable to follow up on its assurances, kindly have the courtesy to inform me of the same.

            I have booked a tablet PC 7 CI on 01.05.2012 with an DD No.020438 for Rs.2999/-. I have already paid Rs.1000/- for upgradation to 7CI as per your request vide Order Number: PM85F78291F dated 02.12.2012. I regret to note and shameful on the part of the such a big company to delay the product after waiting for more than 8 months.

            But till now I have not received any tablet from them. I have sent so many email but all the emails have returned back and so many I have called their helpline number but nobody is lifting deliberately. It is a shame that how HRD Ministry is placing orders with such a company which is not able to deliver the product in time to common man.

                We were going through old complaints that we were not able to resolve and came across the one filed by you (#23742).                   my tablet (ubislatr7ci) is switched on but there is no visual on the but it access to games when touch the i can hear the sound but there is no visual on it is there any solution to sole it?

                        my name is Sankalp Tripathi and had ordered ub slate 7 from datawind five to six months back by cheque of dutshee bank . but still they are not able to deliver me the tablet nor able to refund my money. I have sent mail to payment department as well as refund department for the refund but I am not getting my money also and they are not even replying to mail. and money I spent buying teh tablet is 3000 rupees so this is a total loss of money neither getting
                        the refund nor the product. please help me to get my money back.

                          I booked a Ubislate tablet and paid the full amount of Rs.2999.00 on 22.02.2012 and cheque receipt confirmed by them on 24.02.2012. The booking ID given by them is PM548B5B3DD2. Many calls and e-mails have yielded no result till now. Couple of times, they did reply informing that it will be shipped in the next 10-15 days time.

                          The latest is, no body is picking up the calls.

                          I feel there is something seriously wrong with this company which needs to be looked into by the competent authority.

                            Then I have confirmed that delivery by replying to this mail and they shipped me the item on 24th september 2012.

                            I have got the delivery on today 01st october 2012 evening 7 PM and found the THE PRODUCT IS NOT SEALED AND IT IS ALREADY IN USED CONDITION AND LOTS OF SCRATCHES ARE PRESENT THERE ON THE SCREEN WHICH COMES ON THE USAGE AND CHARGING PIN IS ALSO NOT WORKING AND BOX SHOW IT IS A ANDRIOD 4.0.3 BUT IT IS ALREADY UPGRADED TO 4.0.4 WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE IF THE TABLET WAS NEW.

                              This is Ashish Kapila I booked ubislate7 under booking ID pmb626a6c578 on 19 dec,2011 and I received mail in the month of feb,2012 for payment to become priority customer and I sent the ch no. 819582 dt 25/02/12 ICICI bank for rs 2999/- Then I received confirmation mail of cheque on dt 26/04/2012 then my address was reconfirmed two times with the assurance that you would get the tablet soon after waited too long I asked for refund of money on dt 23/08/2012 then I was asked bank details for processing the refund I gave the bank details after very long time I received the mail your refund would be processed in two weeks in your bank account but even today I have not received the refund they made me fool .I am depressed relating to refund kindly do the needful so that I can take back my money
                              if i knew this would happen i would never have sent the payment

                                  I booked their order at their product ubislate 7+ at their website http:/Www.Ubislate.Com/ (Under www.Datawind.Com) on 16/12/2011, my booking ID is pm53c960af34). After acknowledge of the booking conformation, they asked for the money in advance in order for receiving free shipping scheme. I sent rs. 2999.00 via citibank draft (DD no. 309904) on 31/01/2012. They keep acknowledging over email that they received the money and delivering the product shortly whenever I am enquiring but they never delivered yet. Their responses are very very slow over email. Their customer care phone no is[protected] begin_of_the_skype_highlighting FREE[protected] end_of_the_skype_highlighting) never available to public for any query. Initially I had a doubt how an india company can provide android tablet in such a low price? but when I saw news that mr. Kapil cibbal is promoting this products for the students then I booked it. But datawind is basically a cheater company. Their ceo sumit singh tuli does not have a business ethical and is a criminal. He should be punished.
                                  I want to file fir to police station if I dont receive the product by october 2012.

                                        I have booked for a Aakash Tablet (Ubislate 7+) through the website of Datawind vide booking no "PM2F1D91884C" during early April'12. I got a reply on 17th April demanding advance payment of Rs. 2999/- to enable a faster delivery. I had sent cheque no 317598, of ICICI Bank, dt 5-5-12 for Rs. 2999/- . Against this I got a reply from them on 15th May acknowleding receipt of payment and confirming delivery by early Jule'12.

                                        During the month of July, when enquired they replied for a August delivery. But, it is now Oct'12 and I have not received it so far. They are not even replying the enquiry mails.

                                        You are requested to help me in getting the product delivered or get the payment refunded with interest. If required I can provide the mail trail copy.
