Dear Sir,

I have booked Aakash Tablet on 27/02/2012 vide booking id no. PMB9FFE. As per email received from Datawind Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (who is manufacturer of Aakash Tablet) on 15/05/2012, i have paid advance Rs. 2999/- vide cheque no 46, drawn on Bank of Baroda, dated 17/05/2012 and same has been cleared and got confirmation from respective department of Datawind.

At the time of advance asking by the company had promissed that delivery available in the month of July-2012. but till date i have not received delivery.

I am waiting call from the company for delivery. there is toooo much harasement to customers

The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development announced an upgraded second-generation model called Aakash avilable for students and others. its official web site is www.ubislate.com. i have booked one ubilate(an upgraded version of akash) in feb-march 2012. i am attaching my booking details with this mail. after booking they said that for speedy dellevry i must send the demand draft of 2999/- payable to Datawind Innovations Pvt. The cheque I had sent has been cashed by DATAWIND on 27th March 2012 as evidenced by my bank passbook. They had advertised that if we pre-book,then they would make the delivery in March 2012. Now, it's near the end of September and I want either the product without any faults or my money along with compensation for the time and money I had lost in communicating with them

I had ordered UBISLATE 7+ (a tablet phone) ONLINE from the official website www.ubislate.com on 24 th january 2012 . For this I sent a DEMAND DRAFT (DD) dated 8 th february 2012 in favour of "DATAWIND INNOVATIONS PVT. LTD" of Rs.2999 /-.
I was assured that I will be going to receive the product in march 2012. But it turned false I neither received a EMAIL nor an corespondance regarding the delay . In addition to this when I again kept on sending EMAIL's to them they kept on replying that " You receive your UbiSlate 7+ soon". Then on some day after I sent an EMAIL I received an EMAIL saying that " Your order is in process,you will get your device within 10-15 working days". Hoping so I agreed to this but again the delay went on following a whole month.
On seeing this I again sent an email this time the company replied that "We understand that the device deliveries got delayed due to certain unforeseen reasons. We regret the inconvenience caused due to delay.Your order is in process. You will get your delivery o[censored]bislate7+surely in August. Kindly bear with us for some more time".
But today AUGUST has also passed and the september is also on the verge neither have I received AAN EMAIL from them nor any PHONE CALL .Morever when I call on their TOLLFREE numbers the phone calls are never picked up .
I think that this is totally unfair with the consumers.

You're not answering since I have sent Demand Draft in the name of your given adrress. Let me remind you if you forgot that we have registred "AAKASH TABLET". And as your website said that to send DD in the name of Datawind Address of Indian Country. I have already given my booking id in followed emails. As you can see in picture contains details of DD, When I have Booked (In January for March Month' 2012). I want to tell all of you guys that DATAWIND STEAL MY MONEY. THEY ARE FRAUD.

I have booked ubislate7+ tablet in jan-12, accepting prioritized delivery in march-12 I send advance cheque of rs. 2999=00 to company in jan-12. After many many time(7-months) I received my ubislate7+ tablet with sr. No-p[protected] on dt. 28.06.2012. Due to problem in booting of tablet I raised complain to customer care with complain no-128368 dt. 06.07.12. Regarding to this complain reprogramming link send by company through mail. But after reprogramming tablet not starting. As per instruction given by customer care I send my tablet to datawind ltd. On dt. 31.07.2012. After many days I received new tablet with sr. No-p[protected] on dt.01.09.12 replacement to faulty tablet by datawind ltd. But in new tablet I found vertical colour line at many places on display, so contacting to customer care says again return back tablet for repairing at datawind ltd at your own cost.

It is very bad to deliver poor quality product to customer , now I am want to replace new tablet at company courier cost or refund money to me for delivering bad quality product. Company not agree to refund me for my defective tablet. Also supplied tablet is not as per specification at time of booking I.E. No android-2.3, no 2xusb, processor arm-v7 instead of cortex-a8, 175mb ram instead of 256mb, 1.3gb internal memory instead of 2gb etc..

please guide for legal action through consumer court for delivering bad quality product and not giving product timely and supply product not as per specification.

Please do quick necessary action regarding in this matter.

50% of the sum Rs6000 i.e. Rs3000 on their summon. The product was to be received in 2 working days after submitting the 50% sum. But they the company men have generated the problem as address issue and told us that the product was dispatched but the delivery man couldn't find our residence & after sending the address verification also they didn't send it the product sum and evenly not returned the sum too. And later on the supervisor started ignoring our calls and more on they reduced their contact to negligible with us. I had cancelled the Ubislate Order in May and had given account details for refund on July 18th to Datawind. But till date Datawind is giving false promises of refund and still has not given any refunds of 2999/-.
One communication on Aug 25th Claims they have not processed refund and other email says on 11th Aug they have processed refund.

on 14th april they replied- You will receive your UbiSlate 7+ within 15th May to 31th May.
on august 4 th they replied-We sincerely apologize for the delay in the delivery of your order. Your order is already in process. You will surely get your device in August.

sir till today we did not received the TABLET for which we have already paid. they are not responding to our mail or phone .
kindly help us .

CHEQUE my ch no:-363367. Cheque has been cleared on[protected]. You
said that after 42 days of ch clearance you recevied tab but i have
not get it then you said that you get it augest surely. In augest i
mail you, you said that you said that you will get it september
surely. yesterday i sent mail they replied sorry for the delay you get your device october definitly his promised failed many times. please take action against this company

I booked the UBISLATE 7+ product marketed by Datawind Ltd in the month of April 2012.
As per the terms, they had to deliver the tablet by the end of June 2012. Subsequently upon correspondence with the support department of the company they assured the delivery by the end of July 2012.
Failing delivery by the company, I sent another mail seeking the details of the status of my order.
I have been getting acknowledgements for my payment but my Tablet has not been delivered till date.

I've booke its products UBISLATE 7+ and payment made on 2nd April,2012 with cheq. but till today i have not revived my device and when ever i ask them about delivery of my device they always says next month you'll revive your device since May,2012 the saying this now on 14 August,2012 I revived a mail from company and they said in end of August I'll recive my device but today they send me mail and said in September,2012 i'll be able to revive my device.

i don't know they making fool of people or what or this company is a fraud company.

They acknowledged the payment & promised delivery in the month of May by their receipt, & after continuous follow up they are delaying the delivery by month & month every time as the product will be delivered in June & then July & August & and now in their last email they are saying that the product now will be delivered in October 2012.

I am having all the email id of their confirmation of payment & promises of delivery in my record.

**I request Indian Govt. to Look into the matter & file fraud case against them or CBI enquiry should be initiated against them as they have collected huge amount from Indian Public & and A big Scam will come up.**

I booked this tablet Ubislate 7+ on date 09/MAY/2012 because they committed me tablet will be deliver within a week if I make earlier payment so I paid by Demand draft DD No- 215451 from ICICI Bank, Sec-63, Noida(U.P), But still I am waiting for Tablet .First they replied my mail that product will deliver in early July and again for august and then September and now they are saying for October. This is a mental harassment and cheating with customer .I want my money back with my compassion.

This is too much, I booked this device on MAY on the basis of your advertisement that if I make earlier payment by DD or Cheque you will be deliver it within week, but you did not do this. After my many reminders to you, you again reply me by mail that it will be deliver in early July. After July when again I sanded you reminder then you replied it will be deliver in August. Now when I am again asking you about delivery you people are saying for September. What is your commitment I am not getting now I am loosing my passions and cant hold more. This is a totally mental harassment and Fraud with the customer. I have all the data about communication with you. I will be go to the Consumer court and in media and escalate the issue.
