[Resolved] Faber Ss — Installation Delay | |||
I have purchased one Faber SS chimney at a cost of Rs.8,000/- from M/S Viveks, Fort Station Road, Trichy on 9.1.2011. At that time the sales representative has informed that within a day or two, persons from service center will come and install the same in my residence. she also informed that the bulbs in the chimney, which was not functioned, will be rectified at the time of installation. But the installation people came and completed partial work on 14.1.11 and informed that the rest will be completed after Pongal on 17.1.2011. But so far nobody has turned up for completing / rectifying the defects in the chimney. I don't understand how the sales person has promised installation within a day or two and how the company can supply a unit with defects at the time of sales itself. I accepted the unit with the belief that the problem is only a minor and the service people can rectify it immediately. I was advised by my friends to file a complaint with the consumer court and I am still waiting for the company / service center to do the necessary repair before taking the extreme step Was this information helpful? | |||

We had purchased Faber Dish washer From Rathna Cools, T.Nagar S/n.36990 vide Inv.8923/7.1.12 forRs.36990/-. But till now it has not been installed. Why they are taking so much time to install. We have paid the amount fully and no dues to be paid. When we enquired abount installation they are postponing day by day. We can't tolerate any more. One person came and gone half way through. Is this a customer satisfaction? Then how can we purchase branded item like faber. We are very much annoyed about this kind of attitude from faber. I need the dishwasher to be installed today itself.

Faber — Installation delay
I had purchased my Faber chimney from Faber Galeria on the 9th April, Thursday. It is 15th April Wednesday today and till date the product has not been installed. They promised installation in 2 days, but nothing has happened. When I called up the person in Faber Galeria (Anand) I was told that they have already informed the customer service people for installation. This was at 6pm on Monday 13 April. I received a call from the service dept in 5 mins time only to understand that Anand had called them up for installation only after I called him on Monday. I was assured of installation on Tuesday, when I called Anand up at 7pm on Tuesday, I was told that they will come after that. Which means at about 9pm. They did not. Anand told me that the people are in the vicinity and would come. I called up the service center today, wednesday, only to understand that there was no one in the vicinity yesterday and that they can come for installtion only tomorrow, thursday. BAG of LIES. Not worth buying at all.
