Issue: Delay in Installation of Chimney

This is not new but I truly do not know when would the service engineers understand and have the sense of time and puntuality. When they promise a time, they just don't understand what other things are planned around in a typical nuclear families in metro citites where both the spouse work. It has been the same and typical case where the call center keeps maintianing the "Indian stretchable timing" and the service engineers take the liberty of stretching it much beyond. The service engineer has promised to be at my place y'day at 4 P.M after repeated requests and he stretches it to 5.30 P.M and finally lands up. The visit ended up only to have another appoitment the next day at 11 A.M. I have lined up the carpenters and the house maids for clean ups but to my suprise even now at 3 P.M neither the call center has any clue nor the technician is contactable. The chennai cotnact for the installation and service is Vigneshwara Enterpises - Service center contact number :28218788 As I am a doctor and need to attend to the long waiting patients, it is critical for me to maintain time.

I have bought a Faber chimney with lifetime warranty but to my surprisingly it started giving trouble within 2 months and the service person was made me take a service and cleaning contract for Rs 1000 approx and even after that the chimney gives problem so when the contract got over i dint renew my contract now my chimney is not working and it is almost 1 month now the service person has come almost 5 to 6 times but always he comes does something it works only for 1 or 2 days and then it stops every time they only force you to take a contract, even if its in life time warranty period.

    I bought a faber chimney Tender 605 from Vivek's in Annanagar in Chennai. Since the installation/alignment is not proper, the chimney does not suck odour. we made many
    complaints. they will come and give advices but no solution.

    pls advise prospective customers to be careful while buying faber products

    I bought a Faber Heatkraft 3 Burner Cook Top GLCT 30 ABC some 6 months back.Till date nobody has come for demo and the self ignition is not working.
    When contacted the agent Prestige Smart Kitchen at Tuticorin there is irresponsible answer and the agent is getting angry when approached.
    I hereby recommend not to buy this product.

    Eletric Chimney ...They donot provide service ... Most horrible brand ... Please custommers switch to Kuchina or other company ..

      I called up the callcenter and booked for service of the hob for KNOB REPLACEMNET, CLEANING AND REPLACE ALL THE WASHERS.
      A service person turned up after 5 days and that happened only after repeated reminders .
      The person did not have any spares to replace and went back without doing anything, promising to come on the next working day. He didnot turn up, when we called the call centre, they come back with the same reply of - HE WILL COME TOMORROW. GOD KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL REALY COMPLETE.

      THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE WE HAD. WE ARE DETERMINED TO THROW AWAY THE FABER HOB, AND ADVICE ALL THE KNOWN PEOPLE TO NOT TO THINK OF FABER PRODUCT .

        The issue which i am talking about is with the Cooking Hob (MDR 40 TX) which i purchased.

        After the installation of the product, i had to travel abroad and there was no usage of the product.Was back in the month of Jan 2009 and actively started the usage...i saw two kind of stains..

        1. Stain on the surface of the Hob
        2. Stains on the Burner Assembly (I am not sure how you call this)

        Based on the first complaint i launched with the Vigneshwar Enterprise, Bangalore - A technician visited the place and informed us that we can't remove stains on product and advised us to contact the manufacturer to convey the greivance. That was when i had called the pune office of faber and was informed by a customer care executive - that he would request a senior person from Vigneshwar Enterprises would visit my house and resolve the issue. Apparently it was the same person again and answers were the same.

        Fyi, this was the process that was followed in maintaining the hob surface.

        1. Cleaning of the hob surface with luke warm soap water.
        2. Immesing the Burner Assemby in luke warm soap water for 30 mins and then using a cloth to clean the surface.
        3. After the visit of technician from Vigneshwar Enterprises - we are advised to use to Scrub pad to clean the hob surface + burner assembly.

        Inspite of all this efforts, the issue still persists and my satisfaction levels are very very low on the product and does not justify my investment on your product.

        I had requested the concerned authorities in Faber through the customer care executive to resolve my issue and also spend some good time following it up. However i was given really lame excuses and was told that the product was perfect and the issues are with the usage, which is not the case and they did not even take the efforts for resolving this issue.

        I am told that this product is removed from the Faber's product Lines.

        Requesting concerned authorites to help me in this issue.

        Sir, I purchased a Faber Hob about 2 years ago and since 1 year i have been facing a problem with the big burner that the flame does not come out properly. Once i had complained to the co. and they came and changed the spark plug and charged me Rs. 600/- and when i asked the technician about this problem he said to me that the burner has melted and it shall have to be changed. Since the product is out of warranty, i shall have to pay Rs. 1800/- . I have been talking to the company about their faulty design and low quality product but its vain completely.What should I do ?

          I have purchased Faber Chimney, for which they gave Faber Owen under combo offer.On very First Use the Chimney had some motor problem after few calls, they resolved it.But the Owen also stopped heating on the very second use.after few repeated calls, the technician checked and confirmed that magnetron has to be replaced and said to give complaint and also fax bill details to company help desk.I brought it in Oct 2008.Till now the problem has not been resolved.i got vexed up with calling them all the time.They say the magntron is not available all the time.

            We had purchased a Faber CLEO LTW chimney on[protected]. It has a lifetime warranty. The diffuser in the product was found defective at the time of first servicing. We had informed the seller regarding the exchange of the above parts. They sent their technician to check the nature of the complaint. Initially he said that it would be replaced but took no further steps for three months. Then we received a letter from the company saying that they would not change the diffuser as it is not covered under the warranty. We again contacted them on the 29th of March, 2009 saying that the booklet says the diffuser is included under the warranty. The company and the local authorised dealer of Baroda confirmed in a telephonic conversation that they will exchange the diffuser as said in the warranty. Since April whenever we try to contact them they say that the parts would be changed within the week. But no action has yet been taken. We have also sent mails on the 6th of June, 2009 and on the 23rd of June, 2009 And we have also called them many times to remind them of the replacement. But everytime the Baroda Service centre of Faber calls back saying that it will be done within a week!

            Heatcraft 4 burnor gas stove was purchased in the end of may 2008 and after use of appx. 6 month the complent made to your Panajim dealer m/s Apex Marketing by me through local agent m/s Al-light traders, Mapusa, Goa from which I purchased th same.I agree that the gaurantee card issued is misplased but most interesting thing in that, the burnor provided to the stove has bee melten befor completion of 6 to 7 month which very dificult to understand and digest, as my 12 years old gas stove of 2 burnor of some sami standerd brand is stil in good working condition.
            My complent is pending with your Goa dealer and he is after inspection agreed for the poor quality of the burner provided by the manufacturer.In view of above I request you to look in to matter and replase the same.I hope you will do the needful.
            Heatcraft 4 burner gas stove purchased by us apprx. one year back and the burners molten within six month, have been replaced by the compony aginst charging the cost of the 4 burners on condition that the payment will be refunded if the original burner are found to be nonstandered, we made the payment since the item was important to daily use in the kitchen, however till today nothing is heard from the compony or their agent/dealer at Panajim, Goa and the sub-dealer m/s Al-light Treaders, Mapusa, Goa.

            It has been 9 days since I registered a complaint on[protected]. After calling every day after their 48hr deadline, I still do not have even a call from their technician. The service of this company is worse than anything I have ever seen. It's really a bad idea to buy any of their products, because there is no service after. How can Such a big company be incapable of having a functioning service centre? Is it because we are a third world country, so we dont deserve a decent service?

              I bought a Faber Cooktop from Thane, Mumbai. The unit started giving trouble from day one. A complaint was raised with both Faber compnay & Shop where the unit was purchased. For the first three months many technicians visited my home to rectify the error but could not. My home became a faber training center, everyone from faber learnt some thing from the unit purchased. After three months they have taken the unit to Pune, their factory and after one month they confirmed that the error was rectified but still the rectified unit is not delivered to me. It is almost 5 months now and still going one. This is the worst ever service i have seen.
              I have booked my service request on 18th Aug. Client no. 131519. It was assured to us that the service agent will attend it at the earliest possible. We have been trying since yesterday but no service agent has attended. The dealer through which we purchased the chimney is also in touch with the customer care centre, but regret no one has attended our complaint. It is very sad to note the apathy shown to the customer. It really reflects very bad on part of the company. Going through the complaints lodged by the other customer it seems the company is not all concerned about the customer grievances. The redressal of customer complaints seems not the priority of the company.
              I hope my concerns are looked after and some good samaritan will try to meet the customer requirements. Thanks a lot.

              I have purchased a chimney three four year back. Now this chimney giving me some problem in sucking the smoke & some other minor problem. This is under the Whole Life maint.

              I Recently bought cooktop from faber model no. DF46MTB (Automatic) which is not even two weeks old but from the every first day its auto ignition function is not working properly. sometimes it takes few minutes to flame the burner, which is indeed very risky, we had already complained to their customer care cell, and the visit by their chap was just an formality, inspite of his visit we are again facing the same problem, i think this particular piece is defunk which should be replaced immediately before any mishappening. I hope you agree and take some instant action.

              I purchased a Faber inbuilt dishwasher from subhas enterprises bangalore about a year back. The dishwasher had issues on the very first usage which was rectified with a repair. With hardly been used 10 times in 1 year, the dishwasher has failed to complete a wash cycle 8 times. Now it is at the service center. It was delivered to the house as completely repaired and it went back in the same vehicle since it did not work at home.
              Its a extremely frustrating experience where the service men have no clue to fix the machine. The Faber heatKraft Pune office has been unresponsive inspite of frequent calls to them from bangalore. I am stuck with a defective machine, which no one knows to repair.
              The machine has costed 36k+ Rs.

              I have a faber cooking range and a faber chimney. the chimney is making strange noises. i had called up the service centre before puja vacations. That time they did not lodge a complain and now I have been continuously trying the phone but it is just useless. The central hob of my cooking range is not working for the last two months. But the service centre says that it doe snot have the required parts. I am fed up with Faber. It has very poor service.
              I have a Faber cooking range, It has developed gas leakage. Your dealer in Luknow - and a service provider located in Indra nagar was informed. They initially said it would take 2 months to get spare part for the same. Then within a week came and did some repairing and we were charged Rs 750/-. Leakage still persists but they are not attending to our calls. It seems they are waiting for some accident in our house! We have disconnected the cooking range and are using local gas burner., Please look kin to the matter. For the moment I am of the belief that one should not buy gas burners/ cokking ranges of FABER as after sales services are pathetic,

              It's time to go to the newspapers about the poor service that faber provides, despite making tall claims about lifetime warranty. Since so many negative comments about service does not matter to them, maybe we should warn consumers about them more publicly. I have been sitting with a non-functional chimney for 2 months, and their service people in Subhash faber care Bangalore, have been sitting pretty. Despicable attitude, disgusting service! Shame on you for cheating your customers like this. I hope you go out of business soon.

              Faber/Gas top & chimney — No response from service centre

              Hi, I am an architect practising at Chandigarh. In April this year I had purchased a chimney from Dharam Chand Aggarwal, Sector-18, Chandigarh for my clients. The Chimney is very noisey - and inspite of repeated complaints by me as well as my client; the service people have not looked into the matter...
              I purchased a faber chimney and got stove free. Faber has horrible service nearly 11 days after the chimney was purchased and constant calls the fellow came to install it.
              From the first day o[censored]sing it there is a gas leakage, i thought it was due to regulator and gass cylinder i called the gass agent and got it checked but all that was fine then i realized the actual problem was in the stove and placed a complaint with him he took nearly 4 days to turn up after repeated calls and then wen he came he checked he tried many things but could not get it repaired he said he will send his higher authority and left he never turned up. wen called he says he cannot replace u talk to the dealer and all sought of things.
              wen the stove is switched on there is so much gass smell all over the house, if he does not respond in few days i m planning to lodge a complaint, I cannot be silent, its matter of life if i continue using my house will fire. i m going to take a serious step, he cannot cheat people to this extent.

              I brought an Faber Chimney last week of August this year . After we finished woodwork of our new house and we got the chimney fixed within a week the motor got damaged and the service center here has been keeping us on hold for about a month now, saying the motor has to come from Pune . Its a brand new Chimney hardly used for a week and we are left making frequent calls to service center /chasing them for info on when we will get the motor fixed .               Faber — Faber Chimney Not Delivered

              I have purchased a Faber Chimney and Gas Hob (Combo Offer) from Faber Panorama, Ameerpet, Hyderabad on 4th Oct 2009 for Rs. 13,290/-. The full payment was made by Credit Card on the same day.

              Now it has been over 45 days the product has not been delivered to me. I have been told that the stock is not available.

              I have the shop owner and Faber customer care multiple times and have been given with excuses of stock. I don't understand what's the issue with my order.

              Kindly guide me towards a resolution and get my product delivered. I would like to also see if I can request for a compensation of the delay caused and interest of 45 days on my full payment made upfront.
              We are from chennai and bought a 4 burner steel Faber cooktop from Girias. It leaks gas and the moment it is switched on the entire kitchen is smelling of gas. The dealer put us onto some technician, who did know much. Then started the constant visits by various technicians after which they concluded that the entire base unit needs to be changed. When we contacted customer service, they said they can't replace the cooktop and we need to get in touch with the dealer. THe dealer says he can't do much. There are various people calling but till date the problem continues and we still don't have the stove replaced. We are wondering how careless and reckless a company can ever get. Will this work in the US or any other country in the world where there is respect for human life. This is the worst ever experience we have had in our entire lifetime. Will not recommend Faber or the dealer to any friend or relative - will in fact pass this on to as many people so that they do not suffer like we did.
              I purchased my faber heatkraft cooktop from delhi. with in a month the burners started looking like 10year old. after 2 months the biggest burner became very slow, despite 3 visits by the technician it is still the same, two other burners have a yellow flame emited making my cookware black. on asking the technitian i was told that the burner has been deshaped, how can there be a deshaping of brass burners within a span of 2 years? I had exchanged my old superflame cooktop with this one thinking the company is a reputed one and the products must be good. personally i feel
              1. the quality of material used is very very poor.
              2. theres also a serious designing defect as the knobs get heated up as they are too close to the burners.
              i would request some one from the company to pay attention to my complaint and act at the earliest.
              We have a Faber Chimney at home. Around 10 days back, we had a problem with the chimney. Suddenly the chmney stopped workinga and there was some burning smell. We made a complaint to the authorised service centre. They came and said some plastic part has got burnt and would replace it the next day. PLEASE NOTE THE CHIMNEY IS UNDER WARRANTY. Till now nothing has happened and the worst is, there have been atleast two visits by the Technicians and they brought wrong parts.               We had purchased TWO Faber Glass Cooking range From Munadada Electronics Nashik.

              In both the cooking system problem has occured for which we had given complaint with Mundada electronics and to call center (at least 3-4) times it could have been more but most of time your toll free number is not aswering. Toll free no executive ms Shurti gave no. of Mr. Rakesh ( [protected]) to close the matter but his phone is most of time busy in working hours and non relay after working hours. lastly today we could talk to him after lot of efforts he simply told that you should put complaint on mail. Hence i am writing this mail. Also mundada Electronics gave no of Mr. Sudip ([protected]) which is also not rechable.

              I had asked ms shruti each time to give me my complaint no. she told that the company dose not have system of giving complaint no and dose not keep track of closer of complaint we just forward message to the service center who keeps the track.

              Also will like to take your attention to the person given service at Nashik is highly irrespossible, non attentive dose not have companies authorisation, dose not have bill book for collection of charges on companies behalf, Authorised list of charges Approved by company, not having spare parts.

              At the time of installation he took out cooking system from the box and puted it on table and connected it with pipe- he had asked Rs 250/-
              For cleaing of chimny charges asked Rs500/- job completed in 3 mints ( my wife clean chminy better than him she thought that compny must be having some system of cleaning but looking to this we all were stunned. for this charges he has not given companies bill till today. )


              We dont understand how to solve our problem and to rectify our mistake of purchasing Faber items ( definately we will not do mistake next time and will reccommend our near dear and friends not do the mistake we have done.

              As you are the highest authority of the company hope our cooking systeam and your companies image could get repaired if possible plz solve the problem.

              In both the cooking system problem has occured for which we had given complaint with Mundada electronics and to call center (at least 3-4) times it could have been more but most of time your toll free number is not aswering. Toll free no executive ms Shurti gave no. of Mr. Rakesh ( [protected]) to close the matter but his phone is most of time busy in working hours and non relay after working hours. lastly today we could talk to him after lot of efforts he simply told that you should put complaint on mail. Hence i am writing this mail. Also mundada Electronics gave no of Mr. Sudip ([protected]) which is also not rechable.

              I had asked ms shruti each time to give me my complaint no. she told that the company dose not have system of giving complaint no and dose not keep track of closer of complaint we just forward message to the service center who keeps the track.

              We dont understand how to solve our problem and to rectify our mistake of purchasing Faber items ( definately we will not do mistake next time and will reccommend our near dear and friends not do the mistake we have done.

Since day one, the burners have a problem, there is loud hissing sound, the flame goes off on its own and burner stands have started rusting.               I too am dissatisfied with the attitude of the Faber customer care people towards their consumers. I have purchased a cooking range less than two months ago and from the very beginning, the stove-top grids, which are powdered-coated, have been losing the powder coating. Each time the stove is on, the powder coating seems to peel off/ burn off. I spoke with the service centre and on separate occasions, 2 men came to inspect the grid and agreed that there was a problem with the powder coating. Subsequently I spoke with a man called Sudarshan who asked me to mail him the scanned copy of the warranty card & the bill which I did promptly. After a month and several calls later, I was rudely informed that the company cannot do anything about it and if we (Consumers) break the glass (didn't understand the connection) that doesn't mean they'll replace it.               I too purchased a five italian burner built in cooking hob with glass top, waiting for more than two months after placement of the order. At last they were able to deliver one. Just after one month, yesterday, the so called tempered glass crumbled to pieces, hope due to heat.               I bought a faber electric chimney during the Diwali sale period a week back. The dealer was Vivek & Co Anna Nagar. As required to install the machine, the dealer has sent it after 3 days, but not only that the faber service person(Smart Care, Chennai-79) who was suppose to install after charging an official amount of Rs300/- the guy misbehaved and tried to ask additional amount of 150. The dealer is also not up to the mark, neither are service oriented.If the company is reading this complaint, they should try to improve the customer service. At the momenthey are worst.

              I bought a faber chimney two months ago. The fan stopped working.After making repeated calls the technician who attended said some capacitor has to be replaced,But they didnt have a ready replacement and had to look in the local electrical shops to get one/It is past 10 days since they are trying to find a replacement for that.I am really shocked to see an international co. sold the product only two months back dosnt have spare parts stocked and go hunting the local market.I think faber should be ashamed and not to sell product for which they do not have spares.

              I have bought a Faber chimney with lifetime warranty but to my surprise it started giving trouble within 2 months and the service person was made me take a service and cleaning contract for Rs 1000 approx and even after that the chimney gives problem so when the contract got over i didn't renew my contract now my chimney is not working and it is almost 1 month now the service person has come almost 5 to 6 times but always he comes does something it works only for 1 or 2 days and then it stops every time they only force you to take a contract.

              Faber Oven — One of the Oven knob is stuck

              The Faber Oven is used by us and one of the nob is struk for the past two days. I have first complained to the nuber 28217757 and they direceted me to call 28217304 and that does number doesnot work. On my complaint againg, they gave me another number 28217360 and this number also doesnot work. Again I complained to the first number. They said that some one will call us ove phone. Today I received a call from one of the service agent and he said that I need to contact[protected]. I tried this toll free number several times but not talk to the agent. I was directed to register my voice in the voice mail and I gave my name as Baalasundatram and my contacts as[protected] and [protected]. In addition to the complaints/attempts, I am registering my complaint over net. I expect immediate service as the nob is struck and it is very dangerous because of the gas leak!!!
              The Gas stove looks glossy and rich, but the customer care and resolution is pathetic and am wondering how they still exist in market with such a poor customer care. They have an habit of giving "I do not care" sigh when a customer is talking, else, they say, they cant be bothered if the service team is not attending.

              I think i am also having same kind of bitter experience with Faber or better say Avon Marketing- Kolkata. I have purchased Faber Glassy910 on 8th Nov, 2011 which was installed on 16th Nov, by Avon Marketing-Kolkata. Unfortunately when installation was completed, there was no power supply for which i could not check the working demo o[censored]sing Faber as well as it's functionality. The Installation Engineer left after doing all official documentation. Once power resumed, i find that one of the bulb broken at the time of installation and suction was not as per the demo which i had seen at CASAOFICINA.
              Subsequently i lodged a complain to their toll free no. There is so far three complain i have lodged so far related to broken bulb and suction issue. In my last call which is 3rd Dec, 2011, they found that the Housing of the Chimney was broken. The Engineer Mr. Mukesh called Avon to know the availability and the office confirmed that the parts is in stock. So Mr. Mukesh told that it will be replaced within next 2 days or in worst cases within a weeks time.

              Till 28th Dec, They have not responded to my complain so far. In addition to that, Avon confirmed that Faber is making delay in sending the part as they do not have any stock.

              I do not know what to do and whom to contact.

              From the day one, i am facing problem purchasing No. 1 Brand in Chimney. It is a shame for my decision to purchase Faber.

My problem is there are a number of service centers and each of them call at least once day to enquire whether they can send a mechanic to clean the chimney..I receive on some days 5 to 10 calls.It is a disturbance and creates tension. On many days I felt and also expressed to the service center girls calling me whether the chimney was bought as a aid to remove the smoke from kitchen or for only cleaning every day

              i purchased a faber chimney .in the first year itself the filter lock got spoilt. nobody from faber responded to my calls for the repair as it was within the free service period. Now three year after i got the chimney i get a call that there is a free routine service from a Mr. Raj from the Mahalaxmi office . I told him the problem and he said he will send a technician to repair for which i will be charged anywhere between 560 to 950. If there was a part replacement then i will be charged extra. a technician named Noor lands up at my place and tells me that he will clean the chimney for Rs 750/- and he cannot repair the filter lock. Faber is fooling the public with their free service claim. They cannot repair their own machines then why sell such chimneys . A big international company like Faber is a fraud selling defective machines to indian public and then further fooling them by this free service gimmick.

              We had a gas leakage problem in our 4 burner Faber gas stove. 16-Nov -12 we called service center complain number [protected]. Next day on 17-Nov-12 a person came and said it needs a part which will take 3 days. After 3 days when I called again on 20th the service center I spoke to Mr Harish who assured me the person will visit on same day and he will call me back. When none of these happened I called again on 21st and the lady (Manjula and then Ruby) made some calls and said that person had already visited on 17th. I was very surprised that she did not have record of service visit and requirement of parts. But after explaining everything she assured the person will come "today". I called several times in 21 and 22nd, each time I was told the person will come "today" so I kept waiting for him at home cancelling all my other appointments. 23rd-Nov (today ) when we called in the morning twice I was told the person should have visited today so one more day I am confined at home waiting for the person. they even gave two more numbers where /whom we should call to find out when the person is coming. Since we could not reach any of these number (nobody picked up) finally in the evening when I called again, Mr Harish again came on line and connected me to some other number. There the lady (Sruti) told me the parts will take 3 weeks to come. When I asked why they are telling for last three days the person will come and why the service man said it will be available in 3 days she said you have put the complain only on 21st. I really did not know how to react, when I asked her why she does not see the full complain history what happened to complain that I put on 17th, she did not have any answer, all she said is that she should get the parts next week.
              If anybody knows whom I can escalate this issue please let me know, it seems to me there is no record or history is kept for complains or may be deliberately new complains are registered so that record shows complain are attended promptly. I am not not stuck at home, I had to borrow a single burner (instead of 4 burners Faber set) from neighbor to manage my kitchen.

              We live in Indirapuram. We have been calling for installation of Faber Arco Chimney. On first call a technician came and marked some areas where we were required to cut holes in wood work. We got it done in a day and informed the technician and the helpline.

              I bought Faber dishwasher and it stopped working hardly after using 3 /4 times. It is extremely frustrating experience where the FABER service men have no clue to fix the machine. I am stuck with a defective machine. DO NOT EVER BUY ANY PRODUCT OF FABER. Rating is below 0.

              Please do not buy a Faber. For a company of such Esteem and Name they are not interested in the Customer in the least.They have non existent customer service and when they do agree to do any work their charges are so high - that its not worth doing it. They supposedly give you a lifetime warranty but not on the parts that get damaged or break and when they have no other excuse they say- it must have got affected by climate (so their service technicians told me).

              In this day and age where your reputation can be ruined on the internet they are still not bothered which gives one an idea of how much they care. Please beware !!!

              I have Faber chimney and Its filter lock got broken.I have raised complaint raised on month of July
              2014 and I was assured that a technician will visit within 48 hours,
              but till date no technician has done any visit. After 4-5 days I
              received a call from technician that he cannot visit and he
              forced me to send the picture of broken part on watsapp, which I did on
              same day as I don't have any option. He informed me that as the broken
              part is not available he is required to place order of the part which he
              did on 28th July ( Conformed by customer professional of Faber) . Till now no one has visited to my place for
              replacement and have made no contact with me regarding part availability
              and till when I have to wait for replacement.

              Same type of complaint I have raised for Chimney switch 2 years back but that complaint was also closed without any service or even visit by technician.

              I recomend no one should purchase Faber chimney as after purchase service is very bad.
              There is problem with blower and motor. I have been given estimate of Rs 7000/- whereas the same chimney is available for 8500/-. The repair of Faber chimneies are very costly. Do not purchase Faber chimney if you want
              peace of mind. Response time and service is also very poor.

              I have purchased a faber chimney in 2006. In 2009 both the motors burnt out. Sr. Technicians could not tell the reasons.
              I had to change both the motors.
              In Apr. 2015, again both the motors AGAIN burnt out. The chimney is used, on average max. 3 hrs a day (family of 2).
              Now the Technicians are saying both motor & switch have to be renewed ! Reason of burning...not known to them.."it happens &
              your bad luck !
              What you suggest me to do ?
              I am having a faber chimney and recently it stopped working. I contacted customer care. They said that there is a part which is to be replaced. They took a month to replace the part but still the chimney is not working. Please help me resolve my issue. Chandan Lal [protected].

                FURTHERMORE THEY HAVE CHARGED RS.1875/-TOWARDS ACCESSORIES WHEREAS THE PUBLISED PRICE IS RS.700/- ONLY.

                  With reference to above mentioned subject I have purchase the Faber combo offer in mid of April for Rs. 9990 + installation amount Rs. 1150.00. In the time of installation electricity has gone so; I have not checked the products. After two three day i have checked and found the installation has been not up to the mark. The observations are as below.

                  TOPAZ LTW- width- 60 / 90cm- finish- stainless steel- suction- 500 / 850 m3/hr- noise level- 62 dba (max) - baffle filters

                  1. hood duct net proper fixed
                  2. Undulation is there during installation.
                  3. Lots of noise during on position.

                  HOB MH 40 TR4 sabaf burners- width- 60cm- ignition- auto electric- 1 big triple ring burner- finish- stainless steel- granite cut- 575×475×50
                  1. Hob grill not proper alien.
                  2. Grill level is not proper.
                  3. Lots of noise in right hand side burner

                  I have given the complaint on Friday evening to Mr.Yogesh because he has done the first installation and his mobile no is [protected]. But due to holiday he said he will be repairing the product on next day. I had contact him, he simply says please login the complaint on toll free no.

                  I have login the complaint and my customer id is 100335 on dated[protected] but after three four days no body contact me. They again i have contact toll free no then they have given me Senior persons Mr. Deepak’s mobile no [protected]. And he is assured me your complaint will be resolved by today evening.

                  Mr. Rajesh technical person came to my home and understood the problem.
                  1. TOPAZ LTW HOOD CHIMNEY: - He says the noise level is same but we can’t help you on the same.
                  2. HOB GRILL: - It will replaced with in two three days. he will take the complaint and resolve the problem with in two three days

                  After week i have contact Mr. Rajesh for the same. He told me contact my sr. person for the same

                  Than I have contact Mr. Deepak [protected] and given the complaint he told me that he will give me the feed back with in 30 minutes.

                  After waiting one and half hours I had contact him and take the status from him.

                  He told me he requires more four – five days because they don’t have spear parts for the same……………

                  I simply asked Faber managements is this the way to handle the customer?

                  What is the fault of the customer?
                  Being an ISO international company Is this the product you sell and harass the customer?
                  This is the service system. No body takes the serious of the customer pain.

                  All the Faber technical should attended the complaint and give the feed back to there seniors and seniors should also take the feed back from customer and resolve the problums.

                  May I request you to take back your products and return my money at the earliest? Either I will go the consumer forum for the same.

                  After so much harassment of 40 t0 45 day the matter has not yet resolved. I am totally fed up and made the mind to take the legal action and also publish about your product and harassment in all the news papers.
                  I am affordable to take this pain.

                  Special note:- all our problems which is mention in this letter and the request is the company should not play with human life .if the products is defected the company should change the products immediately so the people will have faith in your company and be your customer for lifetime if he is satisfied firstly.

                    We had purchased a Glass Cook top Crystal 30 CT ABC from Faber last year. However, it is not burning as it should all the 3 burners have become very slow.
                    This is causing a lot of problems . I am been trying your toll free number[protected]since past couple of days but with no response .
                    I had also sent an email but that too with no response.
                    I am sorry but I must say the Service provided by Faber is too bad I am very very disappointed and will never ever recommend its products to anybody.

                      The filters drop down and donot stay in place any more. They fell on hot oil and is dangerous. The teeth of the lock in device seem to have worn out. and need to be replaced.
                      Chimney was bought in 2005 november. Where can I get the spares and these parts replaced in khar santa cruz area.

                        The Chimney has stopped absorbing the steam even after cleaning the chimney. I hd logged a complaint 3 months back where an engineer had come after 2 weeks of registering an urgent complaint and he returned as there was no supply of electricity and said woud return once the electricity is available (2 hours). He never showed his face after that. The issue still persists and i dint get any proper response from them.

                        I got the AMC done on 06/08/2010 of the chimney, the amc was done for a period of 2 years and till date no technician has visited my house for the call, the customer care refuses to listen, where do i call?

                          Sir,
                          I had a problem with my Faber 4 burner hob after 4 years of giving good service. I wrote an email to you and received a prompt reply on 30/7/2008.
                          I Contacted on 1/8/08 the number mentioned in your email. I was told that the service man will come on 2 or 4/08/08. But he did not come. Later the service man phoned and said will come on 9/8/08 but did not come. I had told him on the phone that the gas knob could not be pressed down (jammed), and the hob was bought in 2002. Finally he came on 10/8/08 and told that he had bought the knob as I had told that knob was defective. I ask you what can go wrong in the Knob apart from breaking in which case it would be free. Obviously the thing which is pressed by the knob was jammed. He had not brought the requisite spare. I told him the rubber gasket below the knobs and the gas jets / nozzles need to be changed. He told me that he will bring it on the next day. But he did not come again.
                          On 12/8/08 I made a complaint no 89518 another technician came 14/8/08 and said that he had not bought the spare. What’s the point in coming?
                          On 21/8/08 another service man came and he had brought the spare. He replaced it. But he did not have the proper tools or the skills to do his job. He also had not brought the rubber gasket and the gas jets / nozzles which I think are running spares (consumables). He offered to rectify the gas jets / nozzles (very less flame was coming). He did not have the box spanner to open the gas jets / nozzles, instead he was using ordinary “PLAS” to do the job. I gave my tools (suitable for the job), but still he was lacking in skill to do the job. So I unscrewed / screwed the gas jets / nozzles for him and he did some cleaning etc. with the hole. As a result now very big flames which are yellow in colour are coming. This yellow colour flame (1) spoils the utensils (2) is inefficient. Still he charged me the servicing charge apart from the part he had replaced. I wrote in his receipt the problem of the spare jets / nozzles and the rubber gasket. And had also told him. He had said that he will bring new gas jets / nozzles, but I am still waiting.
                          I had expected a better service from “FABER”.

                          Complaint No. [protected]. Faber Glass Top Cook Top. Model No. CRYSTAL 40 CT. It was purchased on 25 Aug 2011 from Radhika Sales, pimpri, Pune. The Cook Top in effective use since 15 Nov 11. Today the glass top cracked and broke into pieces while cooking. Luckily no injury.
                          The store requires product improvement as it may cause serious injury.

                            I had booked for a Faber Chimney on 26th October 2008 at Faber Galeria, the company's show room at 89, Lloyds Road, Royapettah, chennai - 600 014, Phone : 28110932. At that time the Showroom rep Mr Anand said as the product is not readily available, he will deliver the same in 10 days. He collected full amount of Rs. 21, 990/- and service charges Rs. 440/- From 4th November 2008 onwards, every day I am contacting, in vain. On 8th I had sent a complaint to the customer care at Faber. One Mr. Russell Fernandes replied that the case is being resolved. Now, in addition to calling the show room every day, I had to call their Pune Customer care also. I don't know when the product will be delivered. Beware of this!

                              We have purchased a Faber HeatKraft 4 burner Auto Ignition hob for our home. The problem with this product is that the knobs do not have any lock. So it is very easy to accidentally turn on the knob while you are cleaning the hob. This is a very dangerous situaution since many times you would not notice this till much later.
