I had bought FABER HEATKRAFT's electric chimney 2 years back and now due to blockade it has stopped fucntioning altogether. I called on their customer care number [protected] and filed a complaint on 15/06/2012.they promised me to provide service within 48 hours.But nobody turned up .I waited till wednesday called them again.Their answer was same.I have called them 4 time but to no use.Complaint is in Sri Ramesh's name.ph no.[protected]
Even I am facing the same issue with following up with them. You can call it as pathetic or no service...I would recommend prospective buyers to stay away from faber products. It is heck of mental torture to get them serviced later. BEWARE!

    I had complained to Apex marketing , Goa in the first week of May 2012 regarding 2 switches that needed to be replaced on the hood of our Faber chimney.. I was told that in a weeks time they would do so. But now after a whole month nothing has been done.
    I have been calling up the company on its service no.[protected] and have found the line CONTINOUSLY engaged throughout the working hours. I called the proprietor himself on[protected] and he immediately asks me to call the service centre which is just next door.When I told him about the engaged line he insists the line is busy all the time (!). He takes my name and no. and assures me that the complaint will be attended and someone would call me back but so far no one has called. Every day this procedure has been repeated.,over the last week.
    Yesterday, he himself takes the call and tells me that the proprietor has gone out and would call back
    . I recognised his voice but I was amazed that an adult and so-called manager can stoop so low and have no guts and hence resorts to white lies.I was embarrassed myself to catch him on the wrong foot.
    Many many customers of Faber have this complaint against Apex marketing about their forever- phone-off-the-hook and non attendance to consumer complaints. The proprietor himself keeps the phone off the hook i am told.
    Kindly inform the head office of Faber regarding this person and please suggest an alternative/ please take away the franchise from this incapable company.

      Two switches on my Faber chimney need to be replaced. I had called the service centre,under APEX marketing Goa, tel no.[protected] and[protected] and informed them in the first week of May 2012. They said in a weeks time they would replace the switches.. I waited for 1 whole month , the result was silence
      . The whole of last week I have been calling up the given nos. The service centre phone is always engaged.....each and every minute of the working day. The proprietor himself keeps it off the hook and insists that his phone is always busy. He promises to ask his man to call back and takes down my no. and name each and every time but thats about it. No action.
      Yesterday he himself answered the phone and lied that the proprietor had just gone out and would call back, though I recognised his voice!
      . My husband is a dealer for Faber chimneys at Margao and many many customers of his have this complaint against Apex marketing and their forever-off-the -hook phones and non-attendance to complaints.
      Kindly convey this to the head office of Faber and please take away the franchise from this company which is run by a man who tells white lies and never ever attends or takes note of complaints.

            I bought Faber hob and chimney in June 2011, the day I installed it my chimney was making exceptionally high noise and my auto ignitions for two nobs was not working. I complaint about that, technician came and he fixed the auto ignition and said chimney in starting makes noise and over a time it will get corrected. Soon after few days again my hob auto ignition stopped working, I again called customer care and technician gave temporary fix.

            I am really irritated with Faber quality and service and I am continuously asking for replacement of my both products but there is no response from there side. I am definitely going to file consumer complaint.

            Never ever buy any product from Faber they have worst quality and service in India.

              I PURCHASED 4 BURNER LPG STOVE FABER MAKE FROM RAJA PARK, JAIPUR A MONTH BACK. THE LEAKAGE OF LPG CONTINUE AFTER SWITCH OFF THE BURNER. ON THE NUMEROUS TIMES I FILED COMPLAINT FOR THE SAME.
              THE FABER COMPANY PERSON ATTEND THE COMPLAINT AFTER TWO OR THREE DAYS AFTER SO MANY PHONE CALLS.
              BUT TILL DATE WE ARE FACING THE SAME PROBLEM. WE ASK THEM TO CHANGE THE STOVE BUT THEY ARE SAYING AS PER POLICY WE CAN ONLY REPAIR IT.
              THE LEAKAGE OF LPG LEADS TO ANY MISHAPPENING.

                Hi All,
                I had bought FABER CHIMNEY GLASSY 910 LTW last October and now it is not working .
                I had called on call center number and got complaint number [protected].

                After this someone called Patrick visited our place in the first WEEK OF FEBRUARY and he told that he will replace the motor.

                Now it's been more than a month and i have been following up with FABER People , every time they say they will replace the motor but so far this has not been done.

                After sales service is PATHETIC for FABER.

                I would suggest people to avoid buying FABER PRODUCTS.

                    We purchased a dishwasher from an authorised Faber showroom. Only after signing the cheque, we were informed that installation will happen at an additional cost of Rs 300/- from Faber service center. After delivery, a service person from Faber called asking about a chimney repair. When he was told that we needed an installation of the dishwasher, not a repair of the chimney, the person never turned up. The showroom person ensured us that the next day the mis communication would be corrected. A third person showed up at our house the next day, with the implied intent of giving us a demo, but then, that person started an online phone conversation with yet another counterpart as to how to operate the machine, right from description and direction of the buttons! Not having trained personnel is one thing, but charging the consumer for the same is quite another matter altogether, however small the amount may be.

                      We have complaint in Faber call center from dates 14th November 2011,27th November 2011,5 December 2011,27th December 2011and 31th January 2012. we have asked for the glass change from 1st day of complaint but there are telling there is not stock till date and we are cooking in other stove till date there is not repose from the Faber company please do the needful its almost 3 months and my complaint number is [protected] please take some action against Faber company

                        It is now almost 3 weeks since I placed a complaint about the inbuilt Microwave oven by Faber not functioning. An engineer came in after a couple of days, but was confused, and unaware that there was an inbuilt microwave made by Faber. He ran away, ashamed, saying he would check with his supervisor and return with information. 3 weeks hence, no sign of engineer or supervisor. Perhaps the supervisor is too dumb to respond, or he doesn't know how to operate a phone, to call and inform on status. No clue. Like the clueless engineer.

                        People, do NOT buy products from Faber. Terrible service. Never will recommend. Had logged on and sent them a complaint, online, but no response. Like their supervisor and service centre.

                        Horrible tacky incompetent. Faber appliances.

                          I have lodge a complaint on Faber India customer care no.[protected] , complaint No:[protected] dt. 19/12/2011 regarding service of my FABER Chimney model name “SOLARIS”. Till date I couldn’t get proper response from service center. When I have call no. of times to Customer Care finally a service person came on 23/12/2011 but that service technician has broken the small plastic part where motor is fitted with hood. Now service center owner Mr .Naveen , A1 Services, Samta Colony ,Raipur ,Chhatisgarh has send a mail regarding the part to the company & within a week my problem will be rectified. Till date 31/12/2011 , when I contact Mr Naveen Mob no. [protected] & phone no.[protected] again & again. He replied that company couldn’t send small part through courier service, so I have to again wait, how long, he is not able to answer?..........and his answer was non responsive & non appropriate. Again when I have call customer care dt: 30/12/2011 and asked the solution of my problem then they forwarded my call to their Senior Executive but couldn’t get proper response. Again I have call company person Mr. Rakesh on his Mobile No. [protected] dt 30/12/2011 and informed my problem. He assured me that he will look into this matter very seriously.

                          Now, should I presume that the failure of the company policy, not to send small part through courier due to that my chimney not fitted till date.

                          So finally, I am thinking to send Registered Notice to Faber India Company for spoiling of my modular kitchen.

                            i have been lodging complaints to faber at their toll free number for service and repair for my burner from last four months. four times complaint has been logded but there is no response from the company. out of four two burners are not working at all..
                            I bought a Faber Chimney when I was in Chennai. On my shifting to hyderabad I have brought the Chimney along with my other household goods. It has be THREE YEARS that I have been trying to find FABER's Customer service to fix the chimney.

                            I went to their show room FABER Panorama at Ameerpet and lodged my request several times. You will hardly find anyone there. The sales girl will take the details promptly and there is no response.

                            It is shameful that they are running an ad campaign for their chineys in all the leading papers. I think they would like to add some more unfortunate customers to their list.

                            Faber should understand that in this competitive world, after sale service plays and important role. If this this is the attitude towards their existing cusomers, Faber would soon be a forgotten name.

                            I suggest all the prospective buyers to beware of FABER if they want after sale service

                              I purchased this chimney from faber...
                              Service by dealer was good..
                              but the service centre and its people are horrible...
                              they dont value others time..
                              they commit and they dont meet their commitments..
                              they have fitted the chimney--- crooked-- can you believe it...
                              and taken money in advance.....
                              product i dont know-- because we have yet to use it...
                              but service is bad.. horrible..
                              Ive complained 3 times----
                              still they have not come.....
                              THIS IS THE STATUS OF A GOOD COMPANY LIKE FABER......

                                Hi,

                                We purchased a new Faber 3 burner Cook top with glass top 4 months back. on 9th Nov night, while cooking, the glass top blasted and the glass pieces flew the entire kitchen and to the adjacent rooms. The impact was so high that the entire cook top glass got powdered and the sharp glass pieces were spread across my living room and kitchen.

                                This happened when for a fraction of second, we moved away from the stove to wash the vessel.

                                Immediately we reported to the Faber customer care and agency with detailed photographs. I was also allocated a complaint number [protected]. Technician visited and confirmed its not gas leak and it could be either poor glass quality!

                                So far, I havent heard a solution from Faber and even today, the complaint is open after several follow up(by phone and email) and the gas stove is lying the kitchen with the same condition when it broke.

                                Today also when I called faber customer care, I was told, another 48 hours required to get a response.They offered another glass top with 40% reduction. Spend anotehr 1000 bucks and then risk my life?

                                The poor quality of product followed by poor service is very annoying and I feel cheated by Faber by buying the product from Faber.

                                Can someone suggest how to take this up further within Faber?

                                I completely agree regarding the product defect and service inefficiency for our Faber hob GB465SSP bought from Vijay Sales Mumbai on April 17th, 2011. This was bought along with a Faber chimney.

                                On December 2nd of this month a technician from faber was called to take a look at front left burner of the hob as the auto lighter was not working. He mentioned that there had been a slight valve leakage and repaired it and went. That same evening, when we used the same burner for cooking, I smelt some gas leakage and then heard some noise of trapped gas. By the time i reacted to the sound, the whole glass top burst and broke and the hot glass flew in all directions in my kitchen, hurting my helper (Thankfully they were very minor burns). There was some fire under the burner as well and we switched off the cylinder and poured water on the fire. When we complained, we were told we could get a replacement at a slight discount, but there was no warranty for the glass, so they cannot replace it.

                                While i understand that the glass has to be dealt with carefully and had it been a crack/breakage due to our negligence (even though this should have been toughened glass), I would have still understood and agreed with this response from the company salesperson. We have recently moved back to india from tokyo and have dealt with all kinds of gas hobs in our various moves. However, this was an extremely dangerous accident caused immediately after the technician's visit with no fault of the consumer. It does paint a negative picture of the company in front of me and in case I do have to replace the hob on my own, i would certainly not go back to faber and would actively discourage others to do so.

                                I am still hoping they'll react to this complaint. We should in any case post this complaint on as many websites as possible to help people be aware of this danger.

                                  I bought a Faber 90cm Kitchen Chimney on 28.11.2011 from Ratna Fan House Chennai for Rs. 19000/- . I was told this will be installed the next day and that I will receive a call directly from Faber. For the past week nobody has bothered to call me and I am struggling to have this fixed. Faber is a totally useless company as far as service is concerened and I have serious doubts on its quality now.

                                  I too bought a faber chimney from Ratna Fan house and the installation took a bit time and you have to keep calling the given contact numbers to get it installed. Also the chimney set has a broken bulb inside and they told that will be installed the next day but still haven't turned up. I have called the guys who installed for about 20 times now and they have turned back. During installation, please do check that everything is fine and check even for the sound levels. If everything is fine then do pay your installation charges. The installation charge is also too much about Rs.2500/-

                                  I want to report my product service problem. I called up faber customer care number and registered my complaint on 1st May 2012. Two technicians from the service station from Vashi, New Bombay had come on 2nd May 2012 and suggested that the SCL switch has to be replaced and it will be done in next two or three days time because the parts have to be ordered. They charged me 250 ruppees only for the visiting. I waited onether three days but nobody turned up. I started calling the customer care centre as well as the service station manager regularly. On 7th May they send onother tech who recognised and certified that the motor has to be replaced. Till today nobody bothered to check the complaint to rectify the problem. Now I don't know what to do. The service is very poor with unskilled technicians.

                                  I bought a Faber chimney on the 1st. of last month(August-2012). On installation by Faber technicians it was found that the chimney switches were loose in the frame, which could not be fixed by the technician. I have been repeatedly filing complaints with the call centre and ringing up their service centre in Delhi. The last complaint was booked on 3/9/2012 No.[protected]. Atleast 5 technicians have visited my house and tried their hand at fixing the problem. The last technician was finally smart enough to open the total chimney frame and reassemble it properly. However, he finally found that some of the earlier technicians had taken away some small plastic parts(key knob) which were existing originally. My observations based on my engineering background are:
                                  1. The service centre is generally working only after lunch. All phones are kept off before this.
                                  2. The plastic moulding of inside parts is horrible(they are however hidden because of the stainless steel cover).
                                  3. They normally have only one or two reliable technicians who know the machines. The rest are all trained only to instal the chimneys and know nothing about repairs/machine.
                                  4. If you are lucky and your chimney is one of the working units when installed thank your stars.
                                  5. Be prepared for a very long customer care/service centre interaction in case the machines develop problems - God be with you.

                                    We purchased a Faber cooktop Model cystal mtb - auto ignition -- 1 italian burner + 2 indian burner glasstop model - from Laxmi appliances in april 2010, with consistent comoplaints on the burners and consumer complaint lodging we got that faulty piece replaced in Jan 2011 with customer caredept of Faber in Pune - Kondhwa - COntact person Mr Suhas Joseph. The replacement piece also started troubling us since last one month . A person came to repair on 21/11/111 when we tried contacting a senior official -- and this time Mr Kishor helped in complaint handling... The repairde piece also troubled and agan on 22/11/11 the same issue cropped up.. this time the person is saying a valve issue is there and needs replacement.. The cooktop needs to be taken back to factory and will be retd in 2 days.. no spare cooktop was provided to us.. Aand we were warned not to use the leaking cooktop..... Till morning we had used it fine and suddenly he says its a RISK! ... How come faber is selling such faulty and non reliable pieces... With this second time issue on the 2nd cooktop -- I demand my MONEY BACK... i will request all indians not to trust these fancy pieces and buy only the simple stainless steel cooktops.... I will also lodge an fir in local police stattion to prevent me and my family against any losses.... if occurs due to these faulty pieces.
                                    ALSO immediaely i will look for purchasing a new piece - simple stainless steelpiece...

                                    And I definitely need my money back plus compensation for all harassment gone thru with FABER company products.

                                      I have purchased one Faber chimney on 23.05.11 from a shop name UATTAM SALES 23A Main Road Bistupur, Jamshedpur wide Invoice No.1059 date 23.05.11. after paying Rs. 10, 000 /- .
                                      At the time of purchase, we told that chimney will serviced after six months.
                                      After completion of six months we contacted the aforesaid shop to service chimney but last from 2/3 months we called for the same but NO service man turned up.
                                      Please direct appropriate person in Jamshedpur to service it immediately.

                                        I am very disappointed in Faber and its services so much so that i am willing to put an effort into filling a complaint in the consumer court.
                                        I have been trying to contact their employee by the name sanjay on [protected] for the reason being that i have been told that he is the only person who can help me by the dealer talaulakar so entire Goa has one person who can help me and he does not even pick up my calls isn't that fun and the panjim office seems non interested in my case this company needs to shut down if it cant do any after sale services This person has take my guarantee card and I have spent Rs 10,000 for this product and never used it even for a day as it broke down in like 10 min after it was switched on .I will be really happy if some one can help me before i go through any more pain.I just want it repaired
