    For servicing my Faber Hob and Chimney , I have called M/s Smart care, , Tambaram (authorised service centre)Pbone No. [protected].One mechanic by name Mr.Sivanesan came and serviced the appliances. But he could not open one of the screws in a small burner. So the bottom of the hob could not be cleaned. While cleaning the burner one of the electrical flickering of the small burner went out of order.But I have paid service charges of Rs.550/- vide Receipt No. 5172 dated 27.3.2013 since he had assured for the rectification next day.But nobody has turned up for several days. I have contacted the Dealers in Tambaram ' M/s Shanmugha Ceramics from whom I have purchased the appliances. They have contacted Mr. Rajesh , the authorised Faber Company person.He has assured that it would be rectified
    immediately. Eventhough 20 days gone nothing done. I have contacted both the Smart care and Mr. Rajesh several times. But so far nobody turned up till date.

      Dishwasher rust and not working

      We bought a new dishwasher Faber WQP12-9319 from the dealer/service provider Surya Home Appliances Alwarpet, Chennai 600018 in Dec 2010 and had it installed in our apartment in Jan 2011. Very soon problems started in operation and the inside baskets and parts began to rust. We complained to their Complaint service Centre in Pune Complaint No [protected] dt 7.11.2010 and after several phone calls to Surya Home Apps as well as Faber Service...

      Sir, Request was made for service and repair of Faber Hobs,Technician attended the fault very promptly from Gurgaon Service cener for which credit goes to the agency run by Mr Lokesh Jain.Unfortunately Auto start was not made functional.Tech is advising me to change the elect box.He is not able to pin point the exact fault.Now He is asking the. service charge without making the Hob serviceable.Faber may pl be advised to take action accordingly.

        Faber India service is really pathetic . i had raised a service request about a month back( service # [protected]) for change of carbon filter for chimney and knob for the gas hob . but even after a month of follow up noboday has turned up.

        I would never recomend faber products to anybody.
        Agreed, poor service, defective products. They keep sending a person to fix something and it keeps having the same issue. They have replaced various parts and plan to replace more parts. Still the issue is not resolved. 5 complaints sent out, 20 phone calls over the past 3 months.

          I reside in Hyderbabd. This is regarding a misbehaviour by the faber agency in Hyderabad. The name of the agency is Anand Gas Tech, the complete address is Shop No. 1, MIG 47/1, Road no.1, Opp - Global Eye hospital, KPHB colony, Kukatpally, Hyd-72. The person the owner of the agency K.A. Vithal Rao not only misbehaved with my father who is a senior citizen but also used curse words to my wife. I am requesting people, if they ever intend to visit this shop, be very careful.

              I have purchased Faber Induction cooker model no-ZC3920 on 8th Nov-2012. The Order number was-[protected]. But the product i received was broken. My mistake was that i had opened the product after few days. When i called back Indiatimes customer care they said that they take complaint only within 24 hour and suggested me to call Faber customer care. When i called Faber customer care they said they can't do anything as bad product was supplied Indiatimes & they should replace it. My repeated call to them has no answer for me. Kindly help me in getting the damaged piece replaced with working piece.

                I had made a complaint regarding excessive noise coming from my Faber
                Kitchen Chimney.I had purchased the product in 2008 and it is covered
                under lifetime warranty scheme.( CARD no KOL 0838613)
                On 04/10/2012 I had entered into a cleaning contract with Faber (
                application form No 012566)
                After receiving my complaint for excessive noise technician came to my
                house and remarked that the rotor needs to be replaced and he
                suggested we log a fresh call for replacement of the rotor.The service
                request number was [protected]. After a few weeks we raised a call once
                again to get the rotor replaced since it is covered in Lifetime
                Warranty scheme.
                This time the technician visited our house, inspected the product and
                remarked that the rotor is in good shape and there is no need to be
                replaced. He charged us Rs 300 as visit charges.The Service number is
                [protected].

                As a customer I raise serious objections to the following facts

                1. FABER technicians are giving contradictory statements regarding the
                condition of the rotor which is not acceptable by us.

                2. Further , Since the first technician recommended change of rotor we
                raised a service call to get it replaced . And as per Owner's Manual
                page 9 -" Visits made by Faber technician for repair of the items
                covered under warranty will be free " Hence there can not be any
                ground for charging Rs 300 as visit charges, when the sole purpose of
                the technician was to change the rotor as mentioned in Service request
                [protected]

                I had called Avon Marketing ( phone number[protected] seeking
                clarification regarding the same and they promised to get back to me.
                But Till now I have not received any calls.I have also mailed to Faber customer care but they have not responded to me till date.

                I request you to immediately look into this issue and provide
                justification for such unacceptable service delivery.

                  Have been facing major problem again and again...... Did not get the warranty card of faber chimney ltw500 for which have been getting all services from 7 yrs by showing the purchase bill but have to go through headaches all the time ....no one being able to get a duplicate warranty from the company.....I would like to ask....is faber doubtful its their machine....or are they doubtful that that is a different model??? When u can see it is a life time warranty model and of faber why am I going through mental Harris,eats all the time...why can I not get a hassle freee service.... Is it a reputed brand or a chalta forts brand....last try to write to the co if they can give a solution other wise .......divya lath,Kolkata....c if anything can be done

                    WE PURCHASED ONE 3 BURNER TOP FROM FABER JUST TWO MONTHS BACK.THE MODEL HAS A BLACK TOP. ATTRACTED BY THE APPEARANCE WE BOUGHT IT AND ALSO FOR THE BRAND. TWO DAYS BACK WHILE COOKING WAS ON THE ENTIRE TOP BROKE AND ALL GLASS PEICES WENT OFF THROUGH THE KITCHEN AND DINING.
                    FORTUNATELY MY WIFE WAS JUST FIVE FEET AWAY OR OTHERWISE SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INJURED.
                    WHEN THE MATTER WAS REPORTED WE ARE TOLD THAT DUE TO HIGH HEAT THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED. CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE STOVE IS USED ONLY FOR HEATING AND THAT BEING THE CASE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FOR THAT PURPOSE. I AM YET TO GET ANY RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. REALLY A HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM SUCH A REPUTED COMANY

                      I have purchased a Faber Electric chimney from Samrat Electronics,Sinthee More/Kolkata on 30/10/12 (Bill No.674 dt.30/10/12) which was installed in my kitchen on 02/11/12. But from the day of installation, the chimney has not been functioning properly. The product does not look like a brand new one as several parts were missing or broken which were replaced by the local service center while installing. At present I am contemplating on buying a Faber chimney. I should have bought some other brand. Please help.

                        I had purchased Faber 4 burner HOB in Nov 11 from Adhya Enterprises, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. 3 months back, I filed a complaint for HOB burner problem. After several follow-ups, Technician came and took back my one burner for sample. He assured me that all burners will be replaced within a week time.

                        Since then, I have been following-up with Faber customer care, Technician & other involved persons. Faber Customer support have given me several complaint IDs mentioning the previous complaint# was closed as it is more than a month back. On my repeated queries on the resolution status, I was told that the burner was not in stock so they are arranging the same from the factory. And it will get replaced in 4-5 days.

                        Local area Faber Service Center guys, always give one answer- We will call you back on this and but they never revert back. When, I try to call again they said give some time, we will find out & update you on monday or in 2 days.

                        When, I am asking the dealer to take action. He just said he is also following-up on this from a long back.

                        From 3 months the HOB was lying with 3 burners!!!

                        Sir, This is an harassment to a customer so that one would get fed-up and sit silent or would start saying to return at least the old one as No one is responding to resolution.

                        Please help me out!

                            I bought a Faber Chimney 2 years back, it is completely useless. First it does not have a auto clean. It has to be cleaned every 2-3 days which is a very hectic process. In the name of Annual Maintenance they charge Rs.1600 and for 6 services a year. In this maintenance they do not do anything just the same superficial cleaning which we do at home then why should we call them and pay them for something we can do at home. They do not open the filters and clean it but the oil and soot collect in the filters so a superficial cleaning does not serve any purpose. Please do not spend your hard earned money for this useless product.

                                Hi,
                                I have purchased chimney from Faber authorised dealer. I gave him specifications of my kitchen and cooking sytle at my home. I asked him to suggest me suitable chimney. He gave me chimney and sent his men for installation. At the time of installation they charged me additional 3000 Rs for flexible pipe (which is okay and was informed to me in advance). However the chimney is not useful, as whenever we kook, smoke spreads in entire house.
                                When i complained this to company, they sent their executives (twice) to check it, and their executived advised me that the chimney which is installed at my home is not suitable. Suction is not sufficient based on length of the exhaust.
                                Company said they can not do anything in this and i need to complain this with dealer. When i told this to dealer, he has washed his hands from it. He is not at ready to listen.
                                I am lost, the chimney is lying there as a show piece...

                                I am planning to escalate this to consume court..

                                  This is with regard to a new cooking range, Gas Hob, by Faber.which was bought three months back.auto ignition sound is not stopping.and some times it doesn't work at all.I called the dealer and faber customer care office .now it is more than one month.nobody is responding.I never advice faber product to anyone because of this poor service.please take immediate action for this.

                                    We had purchased a chimney from Faber Galleria (Dream Home) at 5th Block Jayanagar , Bangalore on 3 Apr 2012. Dream Home is authorized dealer of Faber.The chimney stopped working on 13-Aug and we lodged a complaint with the customer care service. The chimney is under the warranty.

                                    On lodging the complaint , the customer care team informed that we will be charged Rs 300 for site visit irrespective of the warranty period. As per the manual Page 9- Life Time Warranty clause 8, "Visit made by FFIL technicians for product assistance within a period of one year from the date of purchase would be free, & there after levied charges as applicable". Despite this, the customer care & the agent at the toll free number insisted that the site visit charges will be charged. Reason given is that the installation was done by the dealer and the maintenance is done by the company directy and hence this charge cannot be waived off. Such details are never shared with the customer at the time of purchase.

                                    It is extremely disappointing that brand of such reputation has such poor customer service. I had lot of issues even at the time of installation. Appreciate if someone could look into this and help fix the issue.

                                      Have bought Faber Microwave oven in Nov 2010. Microwave over stopped working all off a sudden. Engineer came and check after 2 weeks from logging complaint and said door hook is broken need to order it. Said should get it in 1 week. After 1 month we called they said part if still not available with them. From last week when we call they say we need to pay for part which we said Yes still no body is comming to repair it. Everytime we call they are saying you need to pay, when we say yes then they will say will send the enginer today or tomorrow. This is happening from last 2 weeks.

                                      I use Faber Microwave oven and Chimney. The Microwave oven stopped working all off a sudden. Engineer came and check after 2 weeks from logging complaint and told due to coil problem the microwave not working. He also informed that he will confirm the details and do this job within 48 hours. But already one month gone neither anybody call me nor come for repairing. I called again customer care they informed that within 48 hours the problem will solve. After that 2 weeks gone. Nobody come or call... Very surprising to get this type of services from any MNC...
