dear sir,
can u help me to get the defective gas stove replaced from Faber, the poor quality of the product has not been accepted by Faber, delhi during the warranty period of initial 12 months. right from the date of purchase i had faced problems in this gas stove and faber just serviced the stove for atleast 6-7 times.
seeing their response, i lost faith in the product and its quality. however, on someone's advice i took up the issue through their website, the response is here in the trailing mail. as per their advise, i lodged a complaint on their toll free customer care, the complaint id given was [protected] dtd 20.06.2010. subsequently, the gas stove was inspected on 26.06.2011 and the technician declared that 3 burners/mixing tubes out of 4 needs replacement, and due to non availability of the spares he will come later within a day or two.after alomost daily follow up over telephone with their service manager in delhi, they took almost 7 days to revert back with spares at my home and surprisingly demanded money for replacement of defective parts. i was under the impression that since the product is defective and i have got assuarance from their corporate office, faber shall be replacing their defective parts at no cost to me.
finally, i decided to refuse the repair on chargeable basis and hereby resorted to seek your kind intervention/help in this regard.
it is requested to please advise me further course of action.
