I am very disappointed in Faber and its services so much so that i am willing to put an effort into filling a complaint in the consumer court.
I have been trying to contact their employee by the name sanjay on [protected] for the reason being that i have been told that he is the only person who can help me by the dealer talaulakar so entire Goa has one person who can help me and he does not even pick up my calls isn't that fun and the panjim office seems non interested in my case this company needs to shut down if it cant do any after sale services This person has take my guarantee card and I have spent Rs 10,000 for this product and never used it even for a day as it broke down in like 10 min after it was switched on .I will be really happy if some one can help me before i go through any more pain.I just want it repaired

    The Faber Chimney at my home developed certain motor problems during Sep 2011. We called Faber servicing and they checked and mentioned that the motor has to be replaced. As it is under Lifetime warranty, Faber mentioned that they will replace the motor and get the servicing done. But until now, which is already more than 1.5 months, motor has not yet been received and serviced. I have called them innumerable number of times, called up Pune office as it is their head office, registered complaints but until now there has been no response by them. It is really frustrating and when I call they inform me to call up Pune to get the things speeden up and when I call Pune they refer back to Bangalore service station where I had initially registered my complaint. I thot with Faber being internationally acclaimed company I would get good after sales service. But, they have turned out to be really lousy and cheap stupid organization without responsibility towards their customer. They are more like fit it and forget the customer types. If any Faber personnel has got time enough to look into customer complaints or if they have an organization head, which I sincerely doubt, my complaint number is - [protected] - Suresh

      Have been facing major problem again and again... Did not get the warranty card of faber chimney ltw500 for which have been getting all services from 7 yrs by showing the purchase bill but have to go through headaches all the time ...no one being able to get a duplicate warranty from the company...I would like to ask...is faber doubtful its their machine...or are they doubtful that that is a different model??? When u can see it is a life time warranty model and of faber why am I going through mental Harris, eats all the time...why can I not get a hassle freee service... Is it a reputed brand or a chalta forts brand...last try to write to the co if they can give a solution other wise ...[protected] divya lath, Kolkata...c if anything can be done

            Sub: Non availability of spare parts and service from Faber Company

            Dear Sir,
            My name is Rajashekar purchased a cook top hob (Modal –TR 32) from the company called Faber four years back.
            Company has been stopped all the facilities to customer (Spare parts and service) we are unable to use this product since one year due to not working, Service center people are guiding us to invest for same once again for other model.

            Here are the customer care interactions
            1. We are not getting any response or replay from customer care timely.
            2. Getting replay three months once saying that we are working on it.
            3. No body is taking responsibility.
            4. Company is already giving 40% discount for new customers and they are offering for me 30%.

            My concerns
            1. Why the spare parts are not available since this model only few years old.
            2. If the parts are not available where will we go repair.
            3. If company already planned and stopped where is the alternative solution for old customer?
            4. Do we need to invest once in a four years for the same product.

              I am Mohit Tandon and my contact number is [protected]/[protected], I live in New Delhi.I have baught the Faber 4 cook top burner in the month of Feb'11. Since then I am struggling with this burner. In last 9 months I have called the Faber tech for repair of the burner twice with heavy difficulty as it was very difficult to get them turned up.Now again the burner is in a bad situation and the utensils are getting black and destroyed. Now also the leakage started from the pipeline of gas beneath the burner. These days when the LPG is so costly I am wasting it like anything.I am highly dissatisfied with the services of Faber and want the replacement of my product.

              After multiple follow ups with the company I have not received any positive response and due to which I am undergoing mental harasment

                Dear sir,

                Recently on 26th Aug 2011 had procured new chimney filters from Adinath Enterprises which is authorised service centre for Faber. This new filters were delivered in damaged condition. After complaining to the service centre they keep saying "Filters are on order and awaiting supply" Its been quite some time now.
                Please look into the mater and request to kindly arrange to supply new chimney filter without any damage.

                  All numbers given on the website and on their manual are not connecting. Either they are not in operation or temp. disconnected or not correct. I wonder how a consumer durables company can afford to not have their numbers printed everywhere for after sales. This is the second Faber chimney I have installed and they are still unreachable.

                    We bought a new Faber Chimney - Right from day ONE it had a poor suction capacity - when complained their service engineer who visited said that one of the fans was not working and he himself locked a complaint with their customer service, we had followed up more than 10 times since then. It has been more than 4 months now and NO PROGRESS TILL DATE.

                    ADVICE NOT TO BUY FABER - THEIR SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME

                        My Faber 4 burner hob was damaged as the cooker fell on it and the toughened glass has cracked.
                        (complaint no. [protected])

                        I called your service centre 3 weeks ago and your service engineer arrived in a couple of days. He examined the damage and told me that he would get back to us with an estimate of the parts needed.

                        I have still not received the estimate. I am unable to cook due to the damage and this has caused tremendous inconvenience to the whole household. I have called almost everyday since then and every time I have been informed that the service centre would call me in the next 5 minutes but this has never happened. I wonder what your service centre means by 5 minutes!!!

                        Today when I called and asked for a senior persons intervention I was kept on hold for 10-15 minutes after which there was no response. I am absolutely disgusted by the attitude of your employees which certainly reflects on your company poorly.

                        Please let me know if you can help me failing which I shall buy a new hob and certainly not Faber.

                          I bought a Faber gas stove (4 burner) from a faber dealer in greater noida. It had a one year warrenty offerd. After some time 2 of the 4 burners stopped working. I complained to the dealer and the problem got fixed. But it reppeared again, I caled Faber helpline many times but no body came to my house for repair. so from last 2 months i am chasing the dealer and helpline to get it fixed but in vain.

                            Faber is being sold with duplicate replacements with the same model and serial no. at Chennai with the mutual understanding among faber local customercare employee, faber authorised dealers/shop agents and duplicate manufacturers. Definitely faber products are not of this substandard one to break in all corners on thermal variations as they are o[censored]ndergone heat stress and tempered glass type. You can see the glasses are buckling in to small pieces uniformly on all the four corners uniformly with in three weeks from the date of purchase.

                            I booked complaint in the 2nd week of July2011, and till date no response from your local customer care employee except the standard phrase of "we referred to Pune office and noresponse from them, but glass will be replaced at the earliest". It seems they mend money by having deal with fraud manufacturers and making loss to your organization. That's why they are reluctant to contact you and resolve this crisis at the earliest

                              I had requested for servicing of my 4 burner cooking with company nominated service centre (Avon marketing Kolkata). Complaint No. [protected] dt 4th July 2011. A person came to say that the product is to be thown away not good enouygh. We requested for another person to come and check, he did, said that the plates need to be changed. We are still waiting for the parts to be sent to us. Toll free number says that they have closed the call. in the meantime now all 4 burners are not working!

                                WE BOUGHT FABER GLACCY COUPLE OF DAYS BACK WE REQUESTED FOR INSTALATION IN BANGALORE, SERVICE ENGG DID COME TO OUR PLACE WITHIN THE COMMITED TIME BUT INSTALLATION WAS NOT COMPLETED (STELL FABRICATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ALTER AND FITTING TO BE DONE) ON INSISTING HIM TO COMPLETE THIS.

                                    i have an FABER HOB DF 4MT SS 256 WITH CHASSIS NO[protected] purchased from VIJAY SALES AT Prabhadevi on 19/6/2006
                                    On 7aug 2011 your maintenance agency Prompt services, navi mumbai 400706 had sent an person named Mr Shivkumar for servicing the hob at my residence, he did not clean the entire hob properly which i got it done from him by forcing him to do it , then he had to replace the 2 nos faulty lighter which he did by only replacing one new & the other one by using an old lighter removed from any other hob & was charging me for 2 nos of new lighter in addition to 850/-- for service charges.He only reduced the charges when i found out that he has been using old used spare parts.
                                    When we call company authorised service centre is this the service we get from the service centre?
                                    Please look into the matter @ reply immediatley or else i shall be forced to goto the consumer forum

                                        I faced a recent issue with Faber Service Centre last week when a technician came to clean the Faber electric hob (chulha) in my house. He pointed out that two spare parts were missing from the hob and should be taken by the technician who came previously to service the hob. The parts were the ones required for the electric circuit - a generator and a switch - and these cost about Rs. 1000/-

                                        I called up the service center Manager, Mr. Martin ([protected]), right away and informed that his previous technician who had come a few months ago had stolen the hob parts. I didn't have the bill as that service was done about 6 months ago. I urged him to look for the record in their system by using my name, number and location. The manager very casually said that if there is no bill it is difficult to find the guy because it will take too much of their time and effort to look up their records and get the technician's name!!

                                        Nothing has been done by the company to resolve this issue. I DO NOT trust them anymore and find them highly highly UNPROFESSIONAL for not taking responsibility for the loss caused to me as a customer!!

                                        I am furious at this manager and want him to realize what an a*****e he is being by casually ignoring the issue!
