We bought a new Faber Chimney - Right from day ONE it had a poor suction capacity - when complained their service engineer who visited said that one of the fans was not working and he himself locked a complaint with their customer service, we had followed up more than 10 times since then. It has been more than 4 months now and NO PROGRESS TILL DATE.

ADVICE NOT TO BUY FABER - THEIR SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME

      My Faber 4 burner hob was damaged as the cooker fell on it and the toughened glass has cracked.
      (complaint no. [protected])

      I called your service centre 3 weeks ago and your service engineer arrived in a couple of days. He examined the damage and told me that he would get back to us with an estimate of the parts needed.

      I have still not received the estimate. I am unable to cook due to the damage and this has caused tremendous inconvenience to the whole household. I have called almost everyday since then and every time I have been informed that the service centre would call me in the next 5 minutes but this has never happened. I wonder what your service centre means by 5 minutes!!!

      Today when I called and asked for a senior persons intervention I was kept on hold for 10-15 minutes after which there was no response. I am absolutely disgusted by the attitude of your employees which certainly reflects on your company poorly.

      Please let me know if you can help me failing which I shall buy a new hob and certainly not Faber.

        I bought a Faber gas stove (4 burner) from a faber dealer in greater noida. It had a one year warrenty offerd. After some time 2 of the 4 burners stopped working. I complained to the dealer and the problem got fixed. But it reppeared again, I caled Faber helpline many times but no body came to my house for repair. so from last 2 months i am chasing the dealer and helpline to get it fixed but in vain.

          Faber is being sold with duplicate replacements with the same model and serial no. at Chennai with the mutual understanding among faber local customercare employee, faber authorised dealers/shop agents and duplicate manufacturers. Definitely faber products are not of this substandard one to break in all corners on thermal variations as they are o[censored]ndergone heat stress and tempered glass type. You can see the glasses are buckling in to small pieces uniformly on all the four corners uniformly with in three weeks from the date of purchase.

          I booked complaint in the 2nd week of July2011, and till date no response from your local customer care employee except the standard phrase of "we referred to Pune office and noresponse from them, but glass will be replaced at the earliest". It seems they mend money by having deal with fraud manufacturers and making loss to your organization. That's why they are reluctant to contact you and resolve this crisis at the earliest

            I had requested for servicing of my 4 burner cooking with company nominated service centre (Avon marketing Kolkata). Complaint No. [protected] dt 4th July 2011. A person came to say that the product is to be thown away not good enouygh. We requested for another person to come and check, he did, said that the plates need to be changed. We are still waiting for the parts to be sent to us. Toll free number says that they have closed the call. in the meantime now all 4 burners are not working!

              WE BOUGHT FABER GLACCY COUPLE OF DAYS BACK WE REQUESTED FOR INSTALATION IN BANGALORE, SERVICE ENGG DID COME TO OUR PLACE WITHIN THE COMMITED TIME BUT INSTALLATION WAS NOT COMPLETED (STELL FABRICATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ALTER AND FITTING TO BE DONE) ON INSISTING HIM TO COMPLETE THIS.

                  i have an FABER HOB DF 4MT SS 256 WITH CHASSIS NO[protected] purchased from VIJAY SALES AT Prabhadevi on 19/6/2006
                  On 7aug 2011 your maintenance agency Prompt services, navi mumbai 400706 had sent an person named Mr Shivkumar for servicing the hob at my residence, he did not clean the entire hob properly which i got it done from him by forcing him to do it , then he had to replace the 2 nos faulty lighter which he did by only replacing one new & the other one by using an old lighter removed from any other hob & was charging me for 2 nos of new lighter in addition to 850/-- for service charges.He only reduced the charges when i found out that he has been using old used spare parts.
                  When we call company authorised service centre is this the service we get from the service centre?
                  Please look into the matter @ reply immediatley or else i shall be forced to goto the consumer forum

                      I faced a recent issue with Faber Service Centre last week when a technician came to clean the Faber electric hob (chulha) in my house. He pointed out that two spare parts were missing from the hob and should be taken by the technician who came previously to service the hob. The parts were the ones required for the electric circuit - a generator and a switch - and these cost about Rs. 1000/-

                      I called up the service center Manager, Mr. Martin ([protected]), right away and informed that his previous technician who had come a few months ago had stolen the hob parts. I didn't have the bill as that service was done about 6 months ago. I urged him to look for the record in their system by using my name, number and location. The manager very casually said that if there is no bill it is difficult to find the guy because it will take too much of their time and effort to look up their records and get the technician's name!!

                      Nothing has been done by the company to resolve this issue. I DO NOT trust them anymore and find them highly highly UNPROFESSIONAL for not taking responsibility for the loss caused to me as a customer!!

                      I am furious at this manager and want him to realize what an a*****e he is being by casually ignoring the issue!

                        Sir,
                        The wires of the chimney got burned,for which a complaint was made on 29/6/11. Mr. Asif from Adinath enterprises (Service centre of FABER HEATCRAFT)checked it and detected it as only replacing the wires of the operating button & the motors were OK. The next day he took the chimney to the SERVICE CENTRE, and got back the chimney in few hours, BUT WITH THE MOTORS REPLACED with the DAMAGED ONES.The chimney was not working after repairs. I personally went to the service centre where i was told to buy the MOTOR for 3000/- or exchange the chimney for 8500/- by the senior technician Mr. Manoj Tiwari.
                        Kindly look into the matter as early as possible else face legal consequences.

                          Dear Sir/Madam
                          This is regarding chimney spares not receiving from my trader or company after remainding several times.
                          There are some parts like filter need to be changed in every halfyrly for sustaining of chimney efficiency and make it ready in all times.
                          But the matter of regreat, i bought this from Krishna electricals, ambernath-west, phno no-[protected] in
                          2010 and they committed me you can get any parts for replacement at any time.
                          I am following up for such parts since long times and finally the trader giving me false committment every time.sofar , chimney parts not yet changed and the gradually chimney efficiency got detoriated.
                          Now the time i been dissapointed with the act of trader and helpless.
                          So kindly request you help me out and suggest me for next future course of action.

                            We bought brand new Faber Microwave Oven in Nov 2010. After some days o[censored]se we realize that it does not switch off if we keep timer more than 2 min. We need to do hard disconnect. We have register compliant( Compliant Number is[protected] on 23rd Feb 2011. So far we have few tech people visited the site and told us front panel is faulty need to be replaced. Talked to area manager few times, every time I call they say we will send somebody to see the issue. Till date we have not got the issue resolved.

                              I purchased Faber chimney and hub in 2003. The product was regularly serviced by a company in Bangalore till few years back. The service was changed to Vikrant Enterprises (Ulsoor, Bangalore) after that. One month back (June 2011) they came for service of both Chimney and hub. They had broken some of the screws connecting the hub burner and they promised replacement within few days. It is more than 1 month now and despite repeated calls to them, they are not coming to replace the screws broken by their engieers. It is a pathetic service and I am not sure how to get this fixed now.

                                dear sir,

                                can u help me to get the defective gas stove replaced from Faber, the poor quality of the product has not been accepted by Faber, delhi during the warranty period of initial 12 months. right from the date of purchase i had faced problems in this gas stove and faber just serviced the stove for atleast 6-7 times.

                                seeing their response, i lost faith in the product and its quality. however, on someone's advice i took up the issue through their website, the response is here in the trailing mail. as per their advise, i lodged a complaint on their toll free customer care, the complaint id given was [protected] dtd 20.06.2010. subsequently, the gas stove was inspected on 26.06.2011 and the technician declared that 3 burners/mixing tubes out of 4 needs replacement, and due to non availability of the spares he will come later within a day or two.after alomost daily follow up over telephone with their service manager in delhi, they took almost 7 days to revert back with spares at my home and surprisingly demanded money for replacement of defective parts. i was under the impression that since the product is defective and i have got assuarance from their corporate office, faber shall be replacing their defective parts at no cost to me.

                                finally, i decided to refuse the repair on chargeable basis and hereby resorted to seek your kind intervention/help in this regard.

                                it is requested to please advise me further course of action.

                                    Since we have purchased Faber hob, the LPG consumption has risen considerabelly. Earlier a cylinder use to last min 45 days and now (since last 3 refills) the cylinder has lasted only 15-18 days. There is no LPG leekage which is also confirmed by the fact the there is zero LPG smell. We have raised a complaint on the helpline number and we were promised of service would be available in 48 hrs, but there has been no responce since then. Please help.

                                      We have called the faber person for service in the first week of june to service our chimney. From then till now, we have made many calls and the standard reply we get is , " I will come in a day's time". till date they are not bothered to service the chimmney

                                      Faber — No response, no service

                                      My Faber electric chimney needs cleaning, and I registered a complaint 2 weeks ago, on 10th Feb to the Faber customer care number[protected]. They said they will send my complaint to service centre and somebody will attend to my complaint. Nobody came. I have been calling 2-3 times every week, and EVERYTIME THE SAME ANSWER - "we're sending an email to the service centre" - where the bloody hell are those emails going??
                                      I called the Bangalore (Ulsoor) service centre two times - on 23 Feb, they promised me somebody "WILL DEFINITELY COME TOMORROW MORNING" - as usual nobody has turned up!!
                                      FABER IS A FRAUD COMPANY AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE BUSINESS FOR CAUSING INCONVENIENCE TO PEOPLE WHO OWN THEIR PRODUCTS!

                                      Faber Heatkraft Industries Ltd — Poor service

                                      I have purchased 2 burner steel cook top 1 year back. Now I am facing the problem of gas leakage from one of the burner and it does not flame properly as well. Its auto ignition is also not at all working. I lodged the complaint about 2 months back with consumer help line number[protected]. They said that technician will come to check it. After some days, technician came and said burner has to be changed. No comment on ignition problem. He further said that burner has to be ordered and it will come within 4-5 days. After this till to date nothing has happened. I have called customer care for many a times. Each time they say we will send your comment and somebody will come within 24 hrs. For last more than 24 days also no one came. The technician who came first also does not pick up the calls. Are these burners so precious? Aren't they available at all? One day the leakage may lead to some serious mishap and then Faber technical person will arrive to see - nothing left in hand.

                                      I have bought a cooking range (Faber) about 2 years ago.Since the last 45 to 50 days it is out of order.I contacted the service station and they came and checked the problem and now they have not turned up to fix it, have made numerous calls but no response???We were told a few days back that the spares come from Germany so it takes a few weeks.I doubt if they are actually working on it.It is such a pathetic response and after sales.Will never recommend any one to buy a Faber product.

                                      I bought a faber chimney last year. It took nearly 3 months to fix the chimney and all of sudden it stopped working. I have been calling the service centre in chennai. they always said they will come today, but they never come. It is the worst service centre ever I have seen in all my life whereas Gilma which was brought by my brother a couple of years back gets cleaned every 3 months without fail. You keep calling no response from the service people. Please do not buy faber products anymore.

                                        Have been facing major problem again and again... Did not get the warranty card of faber chimney ltw500 for which have been getting all services from 7 yrs by showing the purchase bill but have to go through headaches all the time ...no one being able to get a duplicate warranty from the company...I would like to ask...is faber doubtful its their machine...or are they doubtful that that is a different model??? When u can see it is a life time warranty model and of faber why am I going through mental Harris, eats all the time...why can I not get a hassle freee service... Is it a reputed brand or a chalta forts brand...last try to write to the co if they can give a solution other wise ...[protected] divya lath, Kolkata...c if anything can be done
