Complaint of washing machine
Dear sir,

It is a matter of regret that i have registered a complaint on 22.05.2010 no. 913334 for the washing machine. But till date no action has been taken. I have also contacted several times over phone but reply was same that as and when the part will be availble the same will be repaired.

If godrej can not provide the parts of the machine with in 18month then what is use to purchase the branded items. We can go for local items. So you are requested to look into the matter the do the needful at the earliest & Please replace my washing machin

    I had booked a Godrej Slimline 3-door Almirah at Godrej Interio showroom, Jayanagar, Bangalore on 9th October 2011 with invoice number 70I/24081578 and customer code 93SR2N. The item was delivered on saturday the 29th October inspite of insisting the vendor to deliver it before wednesday the 26th october 2011. On the same day when the technician arrived to do the assembly, he realized that the "Partition frame" of the almirah had a manufacturing defect. He obtained a signature from me on the complaint form (Complaint number: 574207) regarding the defect which was to be reported to the godown at Nelamangala, Bangalore. The technician also telephoned to the godown supervisor to mention about the same. When we contacted him after 3 days, the supervisor informed that there was no stock of the particular item and mentioned that the consignment has to arrive from Mumbai factory/inventory. Till date the issue has not been addressed either by the dealer nor by the godown supervisor. The purpose of our buying the product is defeated and we are extremely dissatisfied with the kind of service provided by the so-called "reputed company" Godrej. Please Help !!

        Last year I have purchased a Godrej semi automatic washing machine. From the first day onwards we had problem with the machine.

        On the first day we fount that the plastic lid of flush bin is not standing up when the machine is kept open when we want to put cloths or take out. Every time we have to open the lid and insert or take out cloths. I complained with the company, but never was they able to fix it.

        Several times the water in rinse bin is not automatically drained.

        Water is not storing in the wash tank. This causes loss of a lot of water and detergent and the machine becomes obsolate. If complained the technician comes after 2-3 days. Every time they open the piping of the machine and take out some coin or button from cloths. They tell us to take out coins before wash. We always do this but since the children also use the machine sometimes, so this cannot be 100% ensured. Buttons from shirts or loose fibre from woolen cloths cannot be removed before washing.

        Before this we used one BPL washing machine for 13 years non stop still that machine did not give problems like this.

        The warranty of the machine is on to expire after that we have to pay heavy amounts to the company for every visit of the technician.

        We will be forced to throw away the machine or shell out a lot of money every month for this.

        Is Godrej company only reliable for Steel Almirah? Company authorities please answer.

                as far we had lot of problems with ur gda-902 machine we procured in 16/3/06 authorised distributor shetty&co coimbatore......we made lot of efforts still the macjine is not working
                every time we have to pay the service charge also rs.350 and we repaired before 60 days ago......
                if still the problem is not rectified we have to approach consumer forum
                It is sad to say that I have already registered 3 complaints against my referigerator, but up to now no appropriate option has been taken. So, please sort it out as soon as possible. By the way, it is in warranty period right now. Your executives have already changed the compressor and filling the gas, but as of yet the problem has not sorted out. Please sort it out as soon as possible..

                  I have taken D-alpina 3 seater and 2 seater on[protected] with name of Pooja Sharma with Receipt no.-65602 and Customer code 93SR3B from Vikrohli,Mumbai showroom.
                  After having 3 months of my sofa sets ,sofasets started showing its defectiveness ,i mean rexin of the sofa got defective.But i complained so many times to your customercare,
                  no body responded on time and time elapses then i got irritated.Thereafer one person came from your company for inspection,he found the defectiveness of both sofa sets then
                  he ordered for replacement.After that i went to your show room in Vikrohli,i shared my problem with MR. PRAMOD of D-alpina sofa that i do not want again rexin sofa D-alpina
                  after replacement because i got irritated with this product from past 4 months with problems.I reached before durga pooja to the showroom discount was there in your products
                  i asked to MR. PRAMOD cahnge my sofaset with another sofaset i.e. Florence 3 and 2 seater with discount he has initially agreed with discount some 1000 Rs/- difference came
                  i said i will pay this difference then he said your sofa Florence will be ready after Dushera.
                  You just answer me if i have taken your sofa D-alpina in discount period then, i was not expecting
                  my sofa will be difective and complain will be logged on durga pooja.So i request you to provide me discount on Florence as same rate as what it was there before Durga
                  Pooja because from then i contacted with showroom employee MR. PRAMOD after three days he said "YOU WILL NOT GET DISCOUNT ON FLORENCE AND REPLACEMENT
                  WILL BE ONLY D-ALPINA NOT FLORENCE..".
                  i got irritated from the company's response to customer for delaying me and my time from 1-2 months thereafter my sofaset warranty will be lost after few months.

                    I had purchase Godrej Split A/c 1.1 Ton.
                    After 1 and half year it has started giving problem. It is displaying error H6. The godrej service contractor have even repaired one of the part but still it is showing same error. Godrej professionals have even visited my home and checked the appliance. They have just registered complaint and no further action on it.

                      I bought godrej interio florid bed 8 months back and the head rest section had broken twice during this period.
                      The quality of the product is very low and hence the head rest is breaking repeatedly

                      I had mailed multiple times to the following customer service Id but didn't get any response or at-least a acknowledgement from them

                      It has been around 3 months and my problem has still not been resolved.
                      Today another part broke down :)
                      I am really shocked for getting such a low quality product from Godrej.
                      The after sale service is just horrible.
                      I will definitively not buy and recommend and Godrej product to my family members and friends.

                      SR#440943 - Same problem has reoccurred.Again the same part needs to be replaced.

                        Receantly Purchased Godrej Washing Machine Model 7201 EPL on date 11th July 2011. Receipt Number 1427422 from Sales Executive named Saurabh Sharma.
                        Since very 1st day i faced problem of Water drainage from machine.
                        Called up Saurabh Sharma on # [protected]. As usual sales reply not in town would come and replace machine but with no result . Called up multiple times after that with phone never answered. Called up customer care and requested for machine replacement and was assuerd some one from techincal or sales will visit and required action would be taken ( req no 261457 ) but with no result. Once again called up customer care but with same answer they cant help and gave one new request number 259660. Some how i got name of some senior manager in organistion , Talked to Samash on [protected] , pranjal Verma - [protected] , and pankaj on [protected]. Every person spoke to only gave assurances but nothing solid on ground happened . Its more than three month now with washing machine packed with no replacement . Its worst part on all that all people i spoke gave on assurances and never realised pain and torture that as a customer i am going through.Even after spending Rs8000 , machine is of no use .

                          I purchased a GODREJ fully Automatic Washing Machine (GWF620FSX) from Tirumala Music Centre Private Limited (Begumpet) on 12th July 2010. To my horror the one and a half month machine started giving us problems

                          Immediately after purchasing, we started facing problems with the machine. We made our first complaint to TMC who pushed it off to Godrej Service Center. There was a problem with the machine's PCB, Water In-let. The PCB had been changed 6 times in a span of 2 months by Sandip (Godrej Service Center employee). I lodged a complaint with Godrej, Hyderabad almost 29 times that this washing Machine has a manufacturing defect, kindly replace! From October 2010, I have been given numerous complaint codes and been pushed to various people to solve my problem with no help.

                          Now after a year of being thrown from one person to another, the Godrej people have a new thing to say, " Your 1 year warranty is over". Looks like they were just waiting for the warranty to expire.

                          I have spoke to the Godrej Office in Hyderabad[protected],[protected], Sandip,Srinivas,Kushal, Sarath, Mujahid , Mobin, Sravanthi to only hear there's not much they could do.

                          I kindly request the authorities concerned to STOP harnessing their customers like this and replace our machine Immediately. (My contact No: [protected])

                            Hello,
                            It seems like Godrej is in the business of fraud these days. I paid the full amount of Rs. 85000+ and got the delivery one month later (in June last week) of a consignment of a Oakdale TV trolley, a dining set (original cost Rs 35000+), a storewell and a recliner (Wales Recliner). All but the storewell was received in damaged condition. In spite of following up on phone and visits to the store in Sector 16, and calls to their senior bosses, all the problems remain as it was. It looks like I was cheated by Godrej. People planning to buy from Godrej this festive season, beware. I have talked to several people in Godrej by the name of Anurag Singh and Bikram Singh (who is claiming to be the NCR Service Head) but so far no action has been taken other than sugar coating words to sooth my agony.

                            I just hope that someone from Godrej actually looks into so many coplains logged on this site. Please remember that information technology has enabled people to make informed decision. My appeal to Godrej would be to bear this in mind and stop being complacent.

                            Same thing has been happened with me from same shop i.e. Noida sector-16 Shop. Now my dining tabel has been getting disassembled as bolts are not getiing tightened and again even after so many complaints no body is listening in Godrej

                              We bought a Godrej Almirah (Sum Line Locker - 108) on 18th May, 2011 from Kamakhya Mechanical Stores, Barabazar, Pandu, Guwahati-781012 (Mobile No. of Godrej Serive at Ulubari, Guwahati: [protected]; Contact nos. of Godrej Head Office, Mumbai: [protected], [protected]). The price of the almirah was Rs. 14,300/-. At the time of booking, we were shown the catalogue only and assured that in locked condition, no insects like cockroch can enter the almirah . However, very often, we find that our clothes are spoiled by them. We called them several times, but, nothing was done to rectify this problem.We also approached them to exchange this one with an old model of the almirah. This scheme was also ignored by them. Kindly do the needful.

                                At 7.15 he could fix the gasket and assemble the fridge .but the door did not close it was not getting cool.he told work has been done ,only after pointing he told he will come again tomoorow .
                                My 6 patient had to go back as i reacjhed my clinic at 8.00 pm clock instead of 600 clock .And i had major financial losses yesterday.

                                  I am sending this email because I am PISSED off at this stage with what GODREJ Team has done with me in the last one month. I have a refrigerator from Godrej that I had bought on August 24, 2006. Since last month (July 21, 2011), I have been trying to reach out to GODREJ Customer Care and Workshop people since the Refrigerator’s freezer is not functioning. I called GODREJ and said that I feel that there is a problem with the compressor.

                                  The executive finally showed up to my place on August 2, 2011 and shared that the Fan Motor has gone bad. Since the Motor is not covered in the warranty, I was charged Rs 1,350 for this motor (Complaint# 225122). This Executive came from Penguin Enterprises, Bhera Enclave in Paschim Vihar.

                                  The Refrigerator started working but went bad again in just a couple of days again. Another complaint was logged by me and now the Executive showed up on August 20, 2011. I had to make atleast 20 phone calls to get this executive again at my place. Now, the executive came from Kapurthala Refrigeration in Tilak Nagar and shared the GAS needs to be filled in order for the Compressor to function properly. Gas was filled up and again, I got a bill of Rs 990 which I had to pay. (Complaint# 235068)

                                  The Engineer who came now made a statement that “There are just two three days left in the warranty to get over”. WHY WAS THIS STATEMENT MADE? Is Godrej just waiting for the WARRANTY to get over so that the customer gets to pay for the Compressor eventually which could be the root cause of all of this mess?

                                  The refrigerator still can’t freeze the water. I again spoke with Godrej and yesterday another engineer (Ravi) came to my place and said that another part needs to be replace which is going to cost about Rs 1,200 and that should fix the problem. That pissed me to the core. How many times do we need to diagnose the ISSUE? Did I make a mistake by calling into GODREJ and requesting for someone sensible to show up at my place and fix this issue?

                                  I spoke with the Supervisor (Manoj) of this person who was the first person to visit our place and asked him to get this taken care of. I needed the GAS charges, Motor Charges to be refunded and this work to be done free of cost now because of this MESS that I have been managing for the last one month. Manoj wanted me not to escalate this to GODREJ’s so called HIGHER MANAGEMENT and requested for time till today morning 11 am. I didn’t receive any call and finally now at 4 pm, I got a call from another executive (Manish) who said that Manoj asked him to call me to take the money for the spare parts that need to be replaced so that the Refrigerator issue can be addressed. I told this guy to drop off and ask Manoj to call me directly because I didn’t want to throw my frustration on this new guy now.

                                  Here are some more details of this Refrigerator that you all may need:

                                    I had very bad experience with Godrej Interio Karve Road. I had booked a bed. The franchise told that it will take 8-10 days to deliver the furniture. However when I called the franchise after 10 days she postpone the date saying that the people are available due to festive season and she will require 2-3 more days. Again when I called after 3 days she said that the audit is going on and she can't deliver it now she will require few more days. Now it has been more than three weeks and I haven't got the delivery yet. Each time I have call her and ask about the delivery. She promises me that she will call me and give me the exact time but she never calls me. Does company like Godrej can't keep follow ups from the Franchisees for better customer services?
                                    Pathetic or no after sales service, Non delivery of part of consignment

                                    I am stating the details of the problems we are facing against the items purchased against sales order no. 211/23011860 dated 17 February, 2011 from Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Karol Bagh Showroom, Delhi
                                    on 21st January 2011.

                                    Products Ordered:
                                    1. Morgan Dining Table .
                                    2. Three Tia Dinning Chair.

                                    The product delivered to my residence on 17th Feb 2011,After repeating calling to Godrej Store Div the assembly man came to my houseon 26th Feb and he told us that One Tia chair hardware is missing with the packet.and thats why he could not able to assemble the one chair.
                                    Same complaint was made to customer care they given me ref no 42508 and promise that representative will call me in next 48hrs but till date no call came to my cell.no.

                                    There is no after sales and patheitic service from Godrej Interior ,I had done a mistake by purchasing products from Godrej and I will advice everybody not to puchaseany products from them .

                                      i had purchased an one ton ac of godrej company in march 2011 , the internal unit of the ac was leaking i complained to the shop and also to the company about it , they sent there service engineer but could not solve the problem, after reapeted complains i requested them to change the unit but now they did not turn up , what to do

                                        Dear All,

                                        I have booked a Washing Machine from them on the end of june (June 28, 2011) and which was expected to deliver in 2 days, so we were waiting for the same.

                                        After continuous followup with the concern sales person, we receive it after a week (July 4, 2011), Since the time we have receive it, there was a technical problem (leakage), we informed the concern sales person regarding this problem, they send a technician to take care of this, the technician visited, checked the machine and said "There is a leakage in this machine" I don't have this part right know, will change it in 2 days.

                                        The countdown starts here, now we have started following with godrej, no one responds us, they are simply saying that the concern part is not available with us, it will come in 1-2 days, so we'll change it. so the complete july is gone, no one has changed the part.

                                        One of the complaint number is 228731.
                                        Now I have decided to go to the consumer forum, we don't want any repairing in the machine now. If the new machine is having such problem, God know, how long a repaired one can work.
