      HDFC BANK regarded as the most powerful bank in India but the employees in HDFC bank are made to work like machines from morining 9.00 a.m to night 10.00 p.m.The seniors expects the employees to work like machines and not get tired.IS THIS THE WAY TO TREAT THE EMPLOYEES???EMPLOYEES ARE REGARDED AS ASSETS OF THE COMPANY BUT THEY ARE THE ONE's WHO ARE HARASSED!!! DOES HDFC BANK HAVE ANY KIND OF WORK CULTURE???
      There are some branches in Guwahati,Assam where the employees are made to work till late night.And these employees include girls too.They are many girls who uses Public Transport to travel but HDFC bank management doesnt give a damn to know How the girls will go home at night 9.00 PM. IS THIS THE WORK CULTURE OF HDFC BANK?????
      When a person joins HDFC bank they are said that office timings are 9.00 a.m to 6.30 p.m but there is not even one day when the seniors which include the Branch Manager,PBA doesnot allow to leave at 6.30 even if we don't have any work.There are mails forwarded to everyone that everyone should leave the branch by maximum 7.00 p.m but they never check if it is followed on a regular basis.Only forwarding a mail is not enough.
      PEOPLE ARE WORKING TO LIVE THEIR LIFE,TO ENJOY THEIR LIFE BUT HDFC BANK DOESNOT ALLOW ITS EMPLOYEES TO DO ANYTHING EXCEPT WORK.THE MOMENT YOU ENTER HDFC BANK YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE YOUR PERSONAL LIFE.
      IS THIS THE WAY HDFC BANK WORKS !!!!!

        I'm Karthikeyan. P holding an account ([protected]) with HDFC Bank Ltd. My Contact# [protected].

        My complaint is regarding credit card issued by HDFC bank ltd. I was issued a credit card ten months ago which i have not received yet. Without receiving or using the credit card i have been charged amounts for Medical insurance several times and these amounts get debited and credited to my HDFC savings (Salary) account. I'm an employee of TATA Consultancy services and hold a saving salary account with the HDFC bank. During this month (Aug' 12) my account has been debited with an amount of Rs. 8,182 for health insurance plan connected with the Credit card that was never received by me. This amount has been held by the bank and is not available for me to withdraw or to pay my personal loan EMI. My personal loan EMI of Rs. 5,595 was due for clearance on 4th of Aug 2012. Due to this issue my EMI didnot clear and I have been levied with default charges for Non-payment. I have a question to the bank that if i have never received or used the credit card how can someone charge me with amounts relating to it. I have contacted the customer care several times and im yet to get any resolution on this issue. Everytime I contact customer care I have advised to forward letters or visit the bank branch. Why should I suffer when I donot have the credit card and Why should my account to be debited for that reason. Further customer care has informed me that the card has been blocked from their side in October 2011 but the transactions are still carried on by the bank.

          hi,

          HDFC bank guys forced me to take car insurance from HDFC ERGO .... Yet the insurance is not done and they are saying it can't be cancelled .... Car Dealar ( whitefield Honda have done the insurance from their side).. being a person from computer field i didn't know anything about these things ..... Juts want to know if the insurance from HDFC be cancelled ...

            Last year, I wanted to invest and did not want any Insurance Policy.
            Still one HDFC SL Policy was mis-sold to me by HDFC Bank representative (name can be provided), as non-insurance Investment.

            Two Premiums (Rs 50,775 + 50,775) have been taken from me, and I did not know the Policy Number, nor I have the Policy document with me.
            Not only this, I had asked to close this Policy within the Free-look period but there was no action.

            On various requests and follow-ups, I somehow got the Policy no as : 14505016 , But still don't have the Policy document with me.

            Can you help me on this, and take the appropriate actions on this Policy.
            I think I have all the right to hold atleast the Policy document, if the premium is deducted from my account without my consent.
            Need to take this up with IRDA also.

            Everytime I check this with HDFC Life or Grievance redressal cell of HDFC bank, I am provided with Complaint ID, but no action yet.

            HDFC standard life insurance — Policy Cancellation

            I have taken policy of HDFC Standard Life Insurance (Policy No:[protected] but i have not interested in policy.I want to cancel the policy,,but they dont cancelling the policy.Please resolve the issue...

              I, Dinesh Sharma have an account with the Tonk Road branch of HDFC Bank for the last couple of years. The account number is [protected] whose information was hacked by some miscreants but was saved at the last minute. There were two beneficiaries added to my Internet Banking which were not known to me and were Manoj Kumar Shukla & Pratap Rai, residents of Mumbai and HDFC Bank customers.
              I got two HDFC Alerts about these beneficiaries and that alerted me as well. Proactively, called the Jaipur branch and as per the suggestion deleted these two beneficiaries from my account, changed the password and disabled the internet banking as well. To my surprise I received a mail again on the 20th July morning that the Internet banking has been enabled again....
              I raised a complaint to the HDFC Customer Care on the July 20th 2012 with a copy to Cyber Crime Cell in Mumbai and Delhi but nothing has happened so far. The bank is calling / emailing at regular intervals to find out some information and no seriousness is getting reflected from their actions. The Cyber Cells (both Mumbai & Delhi) have also not shown any confirmation of the case with them, whether working or not etc.
              My only problem not understood is that both being HDFC Bank Customers are still not nabbed either by the bankers or the police. The other possibility is that these are their fake addresses and then it becomes more serious for the bank if they had opened their accounts without proper verifications..

              My Vodafone number [protected] got deactivated while I was talking to one of my friends at about 00:45 hrs early morning of 19th July 2012. I tried to reach Vodafone customer care but to no avail as they were not able to let me know why this has happened but do believe someone from Vodafone was also involved. I spoke to them once again in the morning and they suggested should go for a SIM change as it could have gone corrupt. I did that and the phone was up & running by about 12:30PM on the 19th July 2012.

              I need to bring this to the notice of the Consumer Forum about the laxity from the bank & Vodafone for allowing this to happen, taking the things lightly without any action and making sure that the customers are not attended properly

                Hi HDFC Team,

                Sometime(approx 1 month) back I got a call from HDFC executive, I do not remember the name of the guy, he convinced me to apply for a credit card. I applied and, got each and every verification done positively at my office and home. Even I got so many calls in my office regarding verification. Today, I checked my application status at HDFC website and it got disapproved and the status was:

                    I Pradnya Surve bearing HDFC Credit Card, have suffered great headache of fraudulent transactions, which occurred past 4 months. Sir, I have received a phone call from the HDFC Kanjurmarg/Kandivali branch,on in last months 2 months June'12 and July'12 at .

                    HDFC credit card department is not sending details of my transaction with bank including my last payment made to them & instead charging inflated amount due against me . Not only this bank blocked my card without any prior sms/information & caused me harassment, humiliation in paying blocked, very negligent careless dishonest & deficient service provider bank which needs to be sued. What should i do when i require an emergency, i think Credit cards are meant for that purpose only, so that client can avail all the benefits in case of emergency.


                    Whenever the collections person used to call me up i always used to say them please send me the hard copy where i can see the usage of my card, the representative tell me "yes madam" we have already couriered the statements but the courier fellow says always the door is locked, i don't understand when my credit card can come through the courier, my 2 months statements can come through courier, then why don't the remaining statements can come through courier.

                    Collections people call at my cell only Rs 1500/- amount is pending and after 2-3 days collections person call me and say Rs 76000/- amount is been due don't understand in this
                    First and foremost thing i would like to suggest the"HDFC Bank Manager or the director " do not hire people who don't know to talk politely or respect fully to the clients.

                    And one more thing how dare they can call at my residence[protected] and talk to my parents very rudely and abusively, saying that "Agar paisa bharne nahin ata hain toh fir card kyun use kartye ho" just cant expect this thing from HDFC Bank, if this could have done by any National bank representative we can understand, but HDFC doing this was not expected

                    Not only this HDFC credit card department representative do not know how to talk to a customer,
                    I found that someone (I don’t know who) used my Credit card to make online purchase for Rs. 76000.00 during the period from March'12 to July'12.where my limit was Rs 30000/- only Upttodayys dates from MArch'12 to July'12 i have already made a payment of Rs 15000/- i havent recvd any reciept from HDFC Bank through an email or via sms.

                    Why HDFC Bank is not done action . This amount of Rs. 76000.00 is disputed and urged and retrievals. Having no cocern of any type with these I am totally in full stress how to deal with it. I hereby request you to help me to come out of this.

                      my card limit is 12000/ every month I paid the amount around 1500 since last one year but this account accumulated. Please convert the EMI systm as 12000/ basis my card limit amount. Now thery are showing too much balance Rs.37000/- last 5 months Rs.2000/ pm instalment paid they are adjusting as financial charges. Please adjust this amount within Rs.12000/- I am not using 37000/- amount

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        On 14th July 2012 I called on 28564332 HDFC Bank credit card customer services number to enquire about the minimum payment on my credit card, at that point Ms. Beena Pujari HDFC bank customer care executive offered me a cashless card offer. Ms. Beena Pujari explained me cashless plan I liked the offer, in the mean time my mother had a word with Ms. Beena Pujari and wanted clarity on the cashless offer.

                        Time when Ms. Beena Pujari offered us the plan she informed us that bank is offering us the cashless offered of INR. 20,000.00/- without any processing charges and bank is giving us the option to repay the mount with in 24months and if we give confirmation to Ms. Beena, amount of INR. 20,000.00/- will be transferred in our bank account with in 48hrs.

                        On 16th July 2012 I got the message on my cell phone that INR. 20,000.00/0 is been transferred in my HDFC bank account.

                        20th July 2012 I called 28564332 HDFC Bank credit card customer services number to enquire about rewards points, side by side I reconfirmed about my cashless plan, at that point I was shocked for a minute. At that time executive informed me that 12 months tenure period is been updated in the system to repay INR. 20,000.00/- (cashless card),at time of offering me the cashless offer HDFC Bank credit card customer services executive ( Ms. Beena Pujari) offered me the cashless scheme for 24 months tenure.

                        I will request you to go thru the communication (call recording) between Ms. Been Pujari , Me and my mother and decide weather I was offered right this or not

                            Hi,

                            My account number is [protected] (salary account from Accenture), I have applied for ECS with HDFC bank Sion(Mumbai) branch since about 1.5 years for LIC premiums numbered[protected] and[protected] for amounts Rs. 1021 and Rs. 2042 respectively. In the month of Feb 2012 the last premiums were paid via ECS and thereafter my LIC premiums are due. I have noticed this yesturday and confirmed with LIC company, they said that HDFC bank has stopped ECS on customer request. Hence I visited the bank today to understand the process of stopping ECS, they (Rahul Dudia and Roscoe) said that I have to give a written statement for this in a form without which stopping ECS payment will not happen. Then I asked to check about my ECS status and the issue that I am facing by explaining it to them. After understanding the issue, they changed their response that the LIC company might have stopped accepting via ECS or the tenure was of 2 years. This was not acceptable.

                            Well I am sure that I did not opt for 2 years which actually doesn't make any sense; and also Feb 2012 would not make 2 years by any chance. Furthermore, LIC do not have authority to stop ECS without notifying me. This directly indicates that the problem occurred at your end only. This type of service doesn't show any professionalism which even makes me feel insecured in banking with you. Now I am penalized by LIC just because of your mistake. I would definitely like to hear a response and a solution from you.

                              Hi to whomsoever this is concerned,

                              I had spoke to HDFC Banl Credit Card Customer Care and asked for a new card to be sent as my old card was damaged. Later on i realised that i have not updated my new address. The card was sent to the old address and was returned to the Bank. Today morning 1/8/2012 11:00 AM i spoke to a lady (not sure if she has updated this in the records). She was so rude and not willing to listen to what i was saying. I am a HDFC customer for almost 6 years and did not except such rubbish service. This is mainly targetted to the lady on the phone.

                              Anothing this is i wrote a letter couple of days back to the HDFC Bank Arumbakkam branch to change my address details and they said that it will take 4 business days and also in the meantime i can have the card sent to the branch for me to collect it.

                              This lady said that this is not possible and i will need to wait for the address change. This is utter rubbish. She must be a new comer or just saying some rubbish.

                              Please have my card send to the Arumbakkam Branch. If someone can get in touch with me at [protected]@gmail.com i will provide the details.

                              The lady on the phone is letting down HDFC as a bank is what i felt today. You guys are doing a good job and don't have such small mishaps please.

                                My Name is Tarun Kumar. I had an credit card with HDFC bank. I use that card for a good time also i had a salary account
                                with that bank for almonst good 3 to 4 yrs. I was making payment for same as well.
                                But after some time i was not able to make payment for same. And bank was charging me for same every month. They were adding interest on
                                that every month. One day i got a call and they told me that i can pay an minimum due of 800rs and rest i can pay like that. I paid
                                1000rs on that day. After 2 hours i got a call from Bank again saying that i have to pay minimum due of 1800rs. again. I told them i
                                can not do that. I asked them to give me a EMI faiclity by which i can make payment . Bank said for same i have to first of get the charges below the credit limit.
                                my credit limit was 15000rs. But at that time bill was for 22000rs. I asked them i cant do that. Then, Later in Jan 2012, Bank put a lean on my account and
                                they took my whole salary of 17000rs from my account. I have three loans as well. I have to pay installment them as well. Two loans are from HDFC and one from
                                Fullerton India. After they took money out of my account, I stopped paying their installment for Personal Loan. But still i am paying for their another loan that is for my bike.
                                But on every day they are calling me and abusing me and harrasing me. They are using profanity with my family and with my mom. In month of march i lost my job. Because of that
                                iwas not able to pay thier installment for bike as well for 2months. I was getting call's from them i was telling them i wll pay it when i will get job as dont have problem in
                                paying installemnt for bike. There was a lady calling me every day and using profanity. She was saying" Tum bhukhe nannge log kya kisht doge. Tumhare baap ne yahi shikhya hai "
                                " tumhare pass khane ke paise nahi hai to kyon loan liya tha. Tum apne baap ka naam kharab kar rahe ho.' Aur many more. later i got a job and i told them that i got a job and now i wll start
                                paying it. But they were disturbing me at time of my job as well. Now they are sending me Legal notice for credit card and Personal loan.
                                One more thing i had a Suvidha insurence from them as well for my bike. If i loose my job i will get waiver for 3 emi. But when i apply for same. I haven't
                                got that waiver. They told me that Insurence is valid in case your company will terminate you or if company get shut down. As there was not requirement in my company . So thet asked me to
                                leave the job. AS i didnt had any chioce. Because i have to take my salary and my experience letter from them. Sir, Kindly do something. I am furustated from
                                these calls and these notices. Sometime i think i will go to bank and Sucide their. But nothing would happen. they would just loose their money,but my faily would loose me.
                                But bank would keep harrassing people like us who got some issue and they are ready to pay but just because of situation they are not. They want time to pay.
                                So, Iwould request you to punish them. Take a Strickt action for same.

                                i am kamlesh ghulghule. Having hdfc credit card. Today call coming from recovery department i suggest him for sattelment option but recovery person calld my company HR for recovery and harrass him now HR give me one chance dont want any call from recovery. If that person call him again i will be terminated so please help me on that

                                Sub : complaint of one bank employee about abusive language with the customer

                                I am amarjeet singh husband of raminder kaur kapoor (card holder) from hari nagar delhi. my card number is [protected]. my wife using this card from august-09.My overdue till today is around 37000/-.. This was the situation of my card till date.and from last one and half year we are paying min due on trhis card

                                on 28/10/10 evening your bank employee Named As, gurvider singh (branch manager) hdfc bank, rajouri garden, ansal claasic tower called at my wife's mobile number.she told him talk to my husband that i am not able to talk to you right know, but your employe start talking on phone . my wife hangedup the phone and your bank employe called me up, I told i want this card to be settled . Hearing this he started talking very rashly to me, started using abusive language related to my mother & father. After hearing this i also got angry & reverted same to him but he didn't stop & start harrasing me saying that i will come to your place, I will come to your office, you beg to someone or you sell yourself but i want my banks money back now only.

                                when the situation got worsed, I disconnect the call, but he called me atleast 30 times on both my wife's & my mobile number with different number.this process contined next day as well. hole day some other guy also called me and said branch main aake payment de jaoo i said send you excutive to me i ll pay the money, the answer was bank ter baap kaa nukar nahi hai payment to tujhe branch main hi aakar karni padegi

                                I have recorded some conversation in my mobile, but he was aware of allthese things, he told me, "u cant do anything to me, He told me to come in the rajouri branch I will show you" but i refused to do so. He doesnt afraid to anything And shameless about his ill behaviour and abusive language.

                                I want to know Bank has got the permission to abuse his customer .If yes, who has given the permission to abuse anyone’s mother & father & that person is very sure that nothing will happen to him.Noone can do anything about this matter & what he did to me is wright.

                                please revert back with the next action i will have to take or what action you have taken about that employee.
                                If i am not getting any response from you i will knock the door of consumer court, But that is very sure i will not stop with just writing a mail /letter to you.

                                Please take some positive action as I have the proof of his abuse and ill behavior. I expect that you will respond to my letter positively as it has created very bad impression of a reputed bank in the eye of customer.
                                Please do the needful ASAP.

                                  I wanted to cancel my HDFC ERGO health insurance policy : 50649078
                                  Ref no : HN[protected] and my rejection reference number is 50649077.
                                  First of all I am cancelling my policy because I am not able to make the payments and now I have been told that I need to pay 75% of the premium and only 25% will be reimbursed and they say that it is clearly mentioned in the documents ,
                                  But the documents containing the rules was given to me only after buying the policy and that too 18 days after buying the policy and even no document was provided to read before buying the policy nor they told me on call

                                  Infact I was fooled by them by giving me wrong information like the insurance can be used even for OPD treatments ( I have the call recorded in my phone and have the proof for the same )

                                  So if they tell me I should have read the conditions before buying the policy I would say the documents containing the rules and conditions was provided to me only after buying the policy and that too after 18 days .

                                  I just kindly request you to cancel my policy and refund my amount .
