[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Harrassment

HI,
My Name is Tarun Kumar. I had an credit card with HDFC bank. I use that card for a good time also i had a salary account
with that bank for almonst good 3 to 4 yrs. I was making payment for same as well.
But after some time i was not able to make payment for same. And bank was charging me for same every month. They were adding interest on
that every month. One day i got a call and they told me that i can pay an minimum due of 800rs and rest i can pay like that. I paid
1000rs on that day. After 2 hours i got a call from Bank again saying that i have to pay minimum due of 1800rs. again. I told them i
can not do that. I asked them to give me a EMI faiclity by which i can make payment . Bank said for same i have to first of get the charges below the credit limit.
my credit limit was 15000rs. But at that time bill was for 22000rs. I asked them i cant do that. Then, Later in Jan 2012, Bank put a lean on my account and
they took my whole salary of 17000rs from my account. I have three loans as well. I have to pay installment them as well. Two loans are from HDFC and one from
Fullerton India. After they took money out of my account, I stopped paying their installment for Personal Loan. But still i am paying for their another loan that is for my bike.
But on every day they are calling me and abusing me and harrasing me. They are using profanity with my family and with my mom. In month of march i lost my job. Because of that
iwas not able to pay thier installment for bike as well for 2months. I was getting call's from them i was telling them i wll pay it when i will get job as dont have problem in
paying installemnt for bike. There was a lady calling me every day and using profanity. She was saying" Tum bhukhe nannge log kya kisht doge. Tumhare baap ne yahi shikhya hai "
" tumhare pass khane ke paise nahi hai to kyon loan liya tha. Tum apne baap ka naam kharab kar rahe ho.' Aur many more. later i got a job and i told them that i got a job and now i wll start
paying it. But they were disturbing me at time of my job as well. Now they are sending me Legal notice for credit card and Personal loan.
One more thing i had a Suvidha insurence from them as well for my bike. If i loose my job i will get waiver for 3 emi. But when i apply for same. I haven't
got that waiver. They told me that Insurence is valid in case your company will terminate you or if company get shut down. As there was not requirement in my company . So thet asked me to
leave the job. AS i didnt had any chioce. Because i have to take my salary and my experience letter from them. Sir, Kindly do something. I am furustated from
these calls and these notices. Sometime i think i will go to bank and Sucide their. But nothing would happen. they would just loose their money,but my faily would loose me.
But bank would keep harrassing people like us who got some issue and they are ready to pay but just because of situation they are not. They want time to pay.
So, Iwould request you to punish them. Take a Strickt action for same.

Dear sir,
i am kamlesh ghulghule. Having hdfc credit card. Today call coming from recovery department i suggest him for sattelment option but recovery person calld my company HR for recovery and harrass him now HR give me one chance dont want any call from recovery. If that person call him again i will be terminated so please help me on that

Sub : complaint of one bank employee about abusive language with the customer

I am amarjeet singh husband of raminder kaur kapoor (card holder) from hari nagar delhi. my card number is [protected]. my wife using this card from august-09.My overdue till today is around 37000/-.. This was the situation of my card till date.and from last one and half year we are paying min due on trhis card

on 28/10/10 evening your bank employee Named As, gurvider singh (branch manager) hdfc bank, rajouri garden, ansal claasic tower called at my wife's mobile number.she told him talk to my husband that i am not able to talk to you right know, but your employe start talking on phone . my wife hangedup the phone and your bank employe called me up, I told i want this card to be settled . Hearing this he started talking very rashly to me, started using abusive language related to my mother & father. After hearing this i also got angry & reverted same to him but he didn't stop & start harrasing me saying that i will come to your place, I will come to your office, you beg to someone or you sell yourself but i want my banks money back now only.

when the situation got worsed, I disconnect the call, but he called me atleast 30 times on both my wife's & my mobile number with different number.this process contined next day as well. hole day some other guy also called me and said branch main aake payment de jaoo i said send you excutive to me i ll pay the money, the answer was bank ter baap kaa nukar nahi hai payment to tujhe branch main hi aakar karni padegi

I have recorded some conversation in my mobile, but he was aware of allthese things, he told me, "u cant do anything to me, He told me to come in the rajouri branch I will show you" but i refused to do so. He doesnt afraid to anything And shameless about his ill behaviour and abusive language.

I want to know Bank has got the permission to abuse his customer .If yes, who has given the permission to abuse anyone’s mother & father & that person is very sure that nothing will happen to him.Noone can do anything about this matter & what he did to me is wright.

please revert back with the next action i will have to take or what action you have taken about that employee.
If i am not getting any response from you i will knock the door of consumer court, But that is very sure i will not stop with just writing a mail /letter to you.

Please take some positive action as I have the proof of his abuse and ill behavior. I expect that you will respond to my letter positively as it has created very bad impression of a reputed bank in the eye of customer.
Please do the needful ASAP.
