HINDUSTAN UNILEVER PUREIT FILTER — Negligence of Service

If anyone wants to purchase a HINDUSTAN UNILEVER PUREIT WATER FILTER here' my experience with the buy..then you decide... A couple of months back
i picked a PUREIT being convinced of all the TV gimmickery.
However now it's been 3 months since i'have been trying to get a battery filter or anybody else to service the filter.The help line which i managed to get hold off after numerous tries do you give you an assurance however there's been no imrovement no technician just false promises I gave them my Filter Code( MSM[protected] my address/phone nos etc was taken by the helpline a couple of times ..tried an online order ,was given an order no. (44673) complained online but the story has not changed..
So in all probability will have to go to the press too

I feel HINDUSTAN UNILEVER comes out with best ideas and technology but as most of the consumers pointed out if the after sales service is not good then the product is an utter failure/flop in the emerging indian markets.

If the level of servifce/ customer commitment is not good and if you are not able to satisfy your customers then whatever best products you come out, I assure that it will be a biggest flop.

Its all upto HLL to take up issues more seriously and get back to customers as and when required.

I have had worst experience using PURE-IT and its customer service where it takes months & months to replace a mesh/battery.
I would prefer trashing PURE-IT and going in for better products available in the market, even if it is expensive but who can provide better service at any point of time.

I would recommend/suggest any new consumers who would like to go in for PURE-IT water purifiers NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT at any cost as there is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE after the product is bought.

The customer care says that they will fix the issue in 3 days time, but at times it takes more than 3 months to fix a simple issue.

As consumers we need to keep reminding them again and again but there will not be any response from Pure-it side. They will keep saying "ASAP" but it is so pathetic they don't understand the value of "SERVICE" or how important a "CUSTOMER" is...

I am posting this complaint because I have had the WORST EXPERIENCE with PURE-IT and hoping that no other consumers should have a bad experience as mine...

Hindustan unilever PURE IT — battery changing

For the last six months no body has attended the complaint of battery changing.
After lodging a complaint at the so called TOLL FREE NO. I received a MEssage stating that if your given address is correct . But they had not mentioned if The address is correct then what to reply. They had said that if your address is not the mentioned one or if The address is incorrect then reply "1".

What should I do?

Pure it - Hindustan Lever — Worst Customer Service / Battery kit Replacement

This is to Highlight the Pathetic Service of the PureIT Helpline and the supply chain of PureIT. My EXPERIENCE is briefed as follows.
Water started leaking from the PureIT germ kill kit on Wednesday and i dismantled the Filter as it was creating a nuisance, i called the Helpline to get a technician on Wednesday the 17th of Nov 10, i was given a complaint ref - C[protected].I was told that the technician will visit on the 18th evening to fix the problem.
There was no technician who visited on the 18th so i called the helpline to know the status, for the said that i just needed a battery kit replacement, i obliged and ordered for a battery kit and the filter for which they would charge me 585/- and i was told that the technician would now visit on the 19th as it was late in the day and they would not be able to send anyone on the 18th, the ref given to me was S10/blr[protected].
On 19th there was no technician AGAIN, so i called the helpline AGAIN, this time they promised that they would send someone on 20th Nov with the necessary items.
On 20th i got a call from the Helpline offering me help and they assured me that they would send the technician on that day itself, Lo and Behold there was no technician on the 20th as well.
Today when i called the helpline, they again raised another complaint and gave me the ref - C[protected] and said that they will send the technician on the 22nd Nov.
After waiting for 4 days still my complaint has not been resolved.
The so called MNC of Hindustan Lever has to ashamed at the level of Service they provide, for all this, they make tall claims by spending crores of rupees in Advertising, if they spend a fraction of this amount to improve their service, they would not to have these AD Campaigns.
My family has had to make with the normal corporation water for the last four days as the filter water is already consumed/leaked.
My Experience with PureIT as a product and the helpline has been poor and i would certainly not suggest this product to anyone as these problems only seems to add on to our woes and does not make our lives simpler.
The executives on the helpline are not understanding at all and are scripted, despite requests and insistence, i could not speak to a supervisor, because he was out for a break when his job demands him to be available for complaint resolution or cover his absence. Even after begging the helpline employees for a means to complain, I can go no where as they said that there is no way we can complain, in essence they meant that we have to live with this.
Overall it has been a harrowing experience and i want to say that boiled water is the safest and natural way, which gives you all the necessary safety and hygiene, but saves a lot of pain which we will have to endure by using these so called products and spend hours together and loads of money to get things done.

One month back I have booked pure it battery since it become red but till date no reply from the company I am awaiting for the positive reply with their staff immidiatly

I, Balla Naveen, am the customer of pureit water purifier since two years. the performance of the filter is good enough. but i am facing the troubles with the services from the pureit division of HUL. Whenever i am ordering for GKK, the service persons were used to delay the order, but now a days they are telling that there is no service and the customer should purchase the GKK in the market and then they have change by themselves.

whenever we purchased they told that service will be available.

but now the service reached to very bad shape.
