Hindustan Unilever - Pureit — Replacement of battery

The said customer as referred above is my ailing father aged about 70yrs. To my utter distraction this is to bring to your kind notice that we have purchased your product " pureit" through SWZ, Jitender Trading Company, Flat No. B2, 12 Narendra Nagar, B.T. Road, P.O. Belgharia, Kolkata - 700056, UN No. [protected] per Invoice dt.[protected].
Since then we have changed and or replaced the battery/device as mentioned in the subject of complaint according to your instruction as and when required by calling your pureit Helpline - [protected] whereas the said battery is not available in the open market which is absolutely under your control.
But, this time we have had experienced to our extreme bitterness of rude-demeanour and the useless chat of marketing of a new battery of your company using my father's call to your said Helpline on[protected] which you didn't provide toll free.
In as much as, for the last one week my father made several calls requesting the booking no. for the required battery and tentative date of installation. But your Helpline Call Attendants were very much reluctant to comply the request of my father an ailing senior citizen, even considering the utility and exigency of the device for the purpose of healthcare.
Further, I would request you to keep it in the mind that your company is obligated to the owners of the pureit in supplying the said battery on payment of scheduled price since it is under your absolute control.
In view of the above, this unbusinesslike, unmannered behaviour and gross non-co-operation is a blatant violation of natural justice which is most unbecomming on the part of a renowned multinational company like yours and we took serious exception to it.
Though your call attendants both male and female are in the habit o[censored]nrevealed their names to the customers, but one of them has disclosed her name as Arpita Banerjee during the period of constant calling of my father as mentioned before.
Ultimately being vexed on the disregard to my father I am constrained to lodge this complaint with the hope that your due consideration will redress my genuine grivance.
Awaiting your early reply and prompt necessary action so that we may have the pure water from our 'pureit' particularly for my father's indisposed health

I have puchase the above mentioed product like your sales reprensentative near about 2 months ago. But last 25.05.09 I have done a complain over phone vide register no.[protected] and my customer ID [protected].

I Purchased water Purifier from Hindustan Unilever two years back, I have been asking a battery kit replacement for past three weeks. First time when i called them for the replacement on 07.05.2009 they said within 3 working days their executive will visit my place and will replace the battery kit, but nobody turned up".
Second time when i remainded them over phone on 13.05.2009 they said the battery kit already been replaced and they logged as a fresh enquiry. I don't know where they replaced. Disappointed by the service.

Today is 03.06.2009. Even now they have not responded not even over phone.

At the time of logging for the replacement of battery kit they have collected all the contact details and the customer ID also.

Poor customer service.
i am from vijayawada now i'd like to purchase one pureit kit but after watching all the above complaints and also the inquiry made in the market what about your service i dont know that's why i stopped to buy it. if any body give us the guarantee, i'll but it. thank u.

Unilever/Pureit — Change of battery

Now i have shifted to kattuppakkam, chennai. Secondaly we were promised that there shall be continuos service of the product, but I have not heard of any service call from the company till date .
after sale service is so pure that, no nobody gives a proper reply to the complaint at customer care. For the last 15 days we have requested for change for pureit kit but no body has cared to get is the new kit nor they have given us information from where we can get it locally at the company outlet.

Hindustan Unilever — Battery change Complaint pending

Dear all,
I had purchased Hindustan unilever's Pureit water filter in 2008 (Cust. ID-[protected]), we have had 1 battery change since then.
On 18th june 2009 I had lodged a complaint regarding the change to their complaint no. [protected].
Since then I had called to them at least 10-12 times for a meager change.
A Multinational company Like 'Hindustan Unilever' shouldn't boast off their services, if they have such a poor service network & only sing their product on Silver screens.
I would never recommend of this product to anybody even if its a low price product.
I hope there would be somebody who could resolve this small (yet so essential problem, as its related to drinking water) problem of mine.
