[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever - PureIT Water Purifier — Wrost Customer Service Level

We have logged complaint with Hindustan Unilver three months back to get the battery replacement for their Pureit water purifier product. There is no response as of now. We have been calling their tollfree number, customer care number & even their Anna Nagar East Division Branch near K4 police station but in vain. We have been following with their Anna Nagar Manager Mr.Prabhu - Contact Number [protected] for the past one week. He is also not taking any initiative. When we try to reach him someone picking up the mobile & saying he is busy in meetings & asking us to call later. This is happening for the past one week. HENCE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

hindustan unilever/pureit water filter — very low performance/no service

I have purchased a purit water filter on 23/03/10. I was promised 1500 liters of purified water. But by 24th june2010,(exactly after 90 days) the system stopped functioning. on an average of 10 litre a day I have received maximum of 900litres of water only. when reported, I am told the girmkill battery kit is to be replaced at my cost. I have ordered for the same I am told that I will get it in 48 hours time. 9 days are over,and whenever contacted, the reply is same. it will be attended in 48 hours time..
what am I supposed to do to get it replaced?

I get nothing other than the false promises made by the customer care executives. Now, we feel that we made a wrong choice TO CALL YOU . If your service is like this before purchase of your product I think how you will give us service after I purchased your product ???????????????????

I, Deepak Sukhatme, ordered for a battery kit vide order No. S10/DL[protected] Dt. 01/07/2010, The company promised to deliver the same within 72 hrs. But it was not delivered at all till 06/07/2010.

On 07/07/2010 a complait for nondelivery of kit was lodged vide complaint No. C[protected]. Now the company promised to deliver the kit within 48 hrs. But it was not delivered at all till 09/07/2010.

Again on 09/07/2010 a complait for nondelivery of kit was lodged vide complaint No. C[protected]. Now the company promised to deliver the kit within 48 hrs. But it was not delivered at all till today i.e. 12/07/2010, 11.00 hrs.

But on09/07/2010 at 18.23 hrs received a sms from the compant that complaint No. C[protected]. has been attended, ( as a matter of fact no body from the company or their representatives turned up)

Again today ie. on 12/07/2010 at 10.18.hrs received a sms from the compant that complaint No. C[protected]. has been attended, ( as a matter of fact no body from the company or their representatives turned up)

I fail to understand how a company like Hindustan Univer Ltd, is so poor in after sales services, The tall claims made by them in the TV advertisements are all false.
and that the TV advertisements aired by the company be banned immediately.

I had booked a Germkill Battery on July 07, 2010. The order number is S10/DLI[protected]. I was told the delivery would happen in 48 hours, as usual. When it was not delivered, I called up again and lodged a complaint. The complaint No. is C[protected]dated 9 July, 2010). I also placed order for another one- vide order number S10/DLI[protected]dated 9 July 2010). So in all I have ordered for two. Till date not even one has been delivered. Subsequently I inquired about it ten times more and complained as many times. These complaint numbers are: C10242035, C[protected]. Surprisingly after one such conversation I got text message stating your complaint has been attended to and is being closed. It also asked for feedback to which I responded saying I am not satisfied. I don't know what "complaint has been addressed and attended to" mean, as the underlying point in that complaint is non-delivery of the Germkill Battery, which is still due. You may find all my correspondence against my mobile number [protected] in your system. I am surprised at the attitude and level of service provided.

Hindustan Unilever - Pureit Water purifier — Service issue - Replacement of Battery

I have purchased Pureit water purifier more than two years back. On July 07,2010 my purifier stopped working as new battery is need to be replaced. i have ordered one Germ kill battery - 1500 ltr on July 07, 2010 via complaint No. S10/DLI[protected] with a committment to deliver in next 72 hours (received sms). Further on July 08, 2010 i have again given request via complaint No. C[protected] with assurance to solve the problem next 48 hours. But nothing has happend on 9th july also. On July 12, 2010 i have received an sms that my complaint has been attended ( complaint No. C[protected] and they have asked for a response. In fact no body has turned up to attend the complaint. After this sms i have again given a complaint via no. C[protected] with an assurance to serve within next 48 hours but with no movement happend. On July 13, 2010 i have again received an sms that pureit team is not able to trace our address my question is that i am using this purifier for the last 2 years and i am getting services on the same address how come they have not been able to trace our address (complaint no. C[protected]. Again i have given request on July 13, 2010 via complaint no. C[protected] with an assurance to deliver the equipment within next 48 hours but nothing has turned up. On July 14, 2010 i have given one more complaint via no. S-10/DLI[protected] but till today i.e. July 15, 2010 nothing has been done and still i am waiting for the Germ Kill Battery to be replaced. I am suprised to see for replacing major part of a purifier how many days they will take with repeated complaints and requests. In fact this is not the first time whenever we need to replace the Germ kill battery we have to struggle in the same manner.

I already placed a requirement for the new battery kit about 3 weeks back.After that I got a call from the custom care & they asked my address, I given the same.
But after nobody made visit.Is it HEALTHY for you drink the water which is as good as tap water, after all money I invested buy your Product.

Even they are not responding well to replace it free of cost now,
I am too agree. They should closed this manufacturing further if they are not able to provide the services to the customers. I will never recommned any one to buy this product. we Shd also publish abt this to the to the social sites also. So that others will not do the same mistake

yes i do agree about the discrepancies made by customers. my problem is made by the service people during the battery changing process, in which they broken interior part, since after the water leakage starts. we made several complaints against this to the customer toll free number now the service people said it cost nearly Rs.900/- . now i've decided to go for some other brand.
THE FILTER CHANGED WITHIN 6 TO 9 MONTHS IT WILL BE CHANGED FREQUENTLY.WHAT SOLUTION IT WILL NOT CHANGE TO BE USE AT LEAST MINIMUM 2 YRS USE.
I am facing battery replacement and we are trying to contact the number which they have provided and not even a single person willing to repond to what we are saying. I am very angry about their service and if I see any of the sales person on road for selling this and am sure I will give the purifier to him and paste a board that they are liars. I am really very frustated with the damm service they are providing and false promising. i ordering a GKB lasting for 1500L. Our order no.S10/BLR/[protected]

Pureit Water Purifier — No response on compensation for poor service

YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED TO NOTE THAT ALMOST AFTER 2 MTHS THE COMPANY (HUL UNILIVER--product pureit water purifier) HAS NOT BOTHERED TO REVERT BACK OR TO CALL ME BASED ON MY complaint and followup done for compensation.I have on my part accepted the fact that the PUREIT water purifier staff is not bothered about its consumers after the product is sold to end users. I am now in the process of filing my complaint in consumer court for inadequate service .I would largely request Indian consumers to CHECK ON THE QUALITY OF AFTER SALES SERVICE OF PUREIT WATER PURIFIER OF HUL.

Yes, this is absolutely, 200% true. I had bought the purifier six months back. Then the water stopped flowing down from the upper container to the lower container. This was fixed lousily after several complaints. Then water started leaking from the lower container. After placing a complaint a boy turned up and said that the sensor which stops water from filling in the lower container gets stuck.Every day my kitchen is flooded with the leaking water . The solution was "JUST LIFT THE UPPER CONTAINER AND MOVE THE SENSOR UP AND DOWN WITH YOUR HAND AND IT WILL WORK". THEN Why go for AUTO FILL water filter? Even after several complaints for about 2 months now nobody has been able to fix the problem.
And nobody turns up within 48 hours as they promise thru the SMS !!! THREE CHEERS TO HINDSTAN UNILEVER !!!

i have been using Hindustan unilever water purifier, pure it brand, since november 2009. Recently on 23 september2010 i ordered a germ kill battery and it was replaced on 24 september 2010. But after replacement there was a leakage problem in the filter.
I called the company customer care (helpline no. [protected]) and registered my complaint (complain no. c[protected] on 24 sep.2010 and i was promised that my problem would be solve within 24hours, but it dosn't happen. I again called on 26sep.2010 further i was given a complain no. c[protected] and was told that someone will visit to check the filter. But there wasn't any reply. I made many complaint but no action is taken yet.
Hindustan Unilever is such a big company which makes people to go for this product, but only disappointement for the consumers. If any one, can help me out then do it vary fast.
