[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever - PureIT Water Purifier — Wrost Customer Service Level

We have logged complaint with Hindustan Unilver three months back to get the battery replacement for their Pureit water purifier product. There is no response as of now. We have been calling their tollfree number, customer care number & even their Anna Nagar East Division Branch near K4 police station but in vain. We have been following with their Anna Nagar Manager Mr.Prabhu - Contact Number [protected] for the past one week. He is also not taking any initiative. When we try to reach him someone picking up the mobile & saying he is busy in meetings & asking us to call later. This is happening for the past one week. HENCE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

This is nothing but a day roberry - Their call centre executives are the most useless people as they do not have any data with them (local service center) or they are not giving it. I had changed a battery kit and it is of a defecetive quality. Lodged a complaint and I am calling their toll free no and concerned branch - there is no one to repond to the complaint except talking goody goody things over phone. DO NOT BUY PUREIT WATER PURIFIER AS THEIR PRODUCT AND SERVICE BOTH ARE WORST

I have ordered to replace a battery kit. Last time also, in the month of April 2009, I had problems with them. My routine morning schedule was to call them and loose my peace. I now regret buying it. Even this time, I had placed an order on 10th. and today morning I have given my peace of mind. And the new strategy they have adopted is that they are selling bigger kit which cost over Rs. 500/- and this does not work the full capacity as they claim. This is nothing but a sales Gimmick. They say the regular kit is not available and if you want you have to pay more rupees.
I hope at least now their After Sales should be improve and take care of its customer or else even now customers will not buy any of their products reading these comments.

And we compliant to manager afterwards we got it. Now also we ordered a battery last week itself we didn’t get up to this time. Our neighbour also ordered 2 months ago they also unable to get it. Their (agent) service is very poor. If it continues means we have a plan to advise our relatives and friends to stop the purchase. Please necessary action regarding above matter because it will affect the image of the product and company.

plz provide me the chandigarh customer care no. i want to change the battery of my Pureit.
I also want to buy it but now i change my mind to buy & i will go to other brand
i had this unit at chennai since 2005 and i shifed to my native place to polur tiruvannamalai dist we call the help line many times my parents to customer care they said with in 3 working days it will reach you still now the battery kit is not provided and again logged the complaint at the customer care referance no SO9/TVM[protected] DT 02SEP2009 till dt we are not received

Yes I agree that hindustan water purifier dealers have no responsible and not consider their customers complaint seriously and not provide the service especially battery replacement. I booked and follow up from the last two months for replacing my purifier battery but no action from their side. THey regularly says to call back or given the battery with in 3 working days. but no call, no response, no service from their side.

I am also suffering from the same problem they are not replacing the battery of pure it . Even the filter is unabel to clarify particulate matter forget about the bacterias. Its better to keep 3 pots one above the other with sand in one and charcoal in other to get pure, clear and safe potable water.

Hindustan Unilever Pureit Water Filter — about customer service

I have purchased a purit from its varanasi dealer at the time of delivery they told to supply its battry kit within one or two days,but it is the matter of regret that i have ordered for battry on date 5/10/2009 and rimend two times for supply but no one comes to change till today 9/10/2009.please help me.

I have purchased 4 years back a Pure it machine at Chennai in the name of Mrs. Mangayarkarasi having its serial number RPM[protected]. I have changed the battery when it expires through call centre.

On[protected] around 9.00 a.m.I have informed your call centre 28237373 to change the battery. They have replied me it will come within three working days. I have waited till[protected] evening no one have come. I have again informed them and gave a complaint for it (complaint No. being[protected]. The person told me that they will supply on the same day or in the next day morning. No one turned up. I have again complained about it on[protected] and got the address of your office situated at Alwarpet without phone no. I went to your office on 09-07-09 and asked about the status. The lady in the reception didnot tell anything about it. She doesnot care about it. But the office boy told that it was not invoiced, then I have asked him about the complaint, the office boy only told that it will be supplied today itself. He had contacted some one over phone and asked him to supply immediately.

After one hour your representative came and supplied the battery. Kindly go through the matter and reply at the earliest.

Am really disappointed to hear all the negative comments regarding the product as well as the non existent after sales service...I was seriously considering buying the product but after reading these comments am completely discouraged and have changed my mind

Hope the company realises what is happening and get their act together else they may have to discontinue the product altogether
