[Resolved] HP Compaq Laptop — Free gift offer | |
Non receipt of free gift offer I purchased a laptop compaq presario v6409 during oct-2007 and i was entitled for a free gift offer. As reqd. I sent a dd for rs.600/- with all the reqd. Documents such as bill, original cardboard piece containing sl. No. Etc. After obtaining a number from hp redempiton which was noted on the bill and sent it to hp redemption cell, delhi, on[protected]. As per conditions - the item will be delivered after 8 weeks. I waited for 8 weeks. But the party m/s hp redemption cell c/o solutions integrated mktg. Serv. Pvt. Ltd., a-2, okhla industrial area, phase-i, new delhi 110020 (Phone[protected] returned the only above dd (No.[protected], dt 17/10/2007, issued from indian overseas bank – chartola malanjkhand mp), but this party has not returned the other original document, which were sent by me. As per the party, they could not processed it due to the reason “ worng name – i. E. Solutions integrated marketing services pvt. Ltd. For the free gift offer, the party was unable to process the claim due to the reason that wrong name was mentioned as "solution integrated markreing servicer p. Ltd.", which is not correct. The name on the dd was hp redempiton cell, delhi, only.Instead of sending the gift after 8 weeks, dd was returned to me with the noting wrong name, that too after say 9 weeks. If there was an error, the same should have been intimatged to me immediately rather waiting for more than 8 weeks and not sending the gift as per the conditons. Kindly advise on the issue at the earliest. HP Laptop DV2000 — horrible service
I had purchased the HP laptop for 66000 in hyd. after 8 months, i visited the service centre to just inquire if the system was working well, and i wanted some servicing done before the warranty was expired. also since my battery backup became too low in 8 months, i was furious and gave my complaint with absolute stress. they replaced my battery and gave a receipt which clearly stated 'laptop tested, no problem'after that, i had to return to my college in kerala. when i went back, i saw that the system was very slow and that it couldnt burn DVD's or read DVD's either for that matter. i couldnt come to hyd in my semester, by the time i came back to hyd, it had been about a month since the warranty had expired. first time i gave it, they returned saying no problem, charging me the 300 rupees as stardard ...then i give it again after i find that the laptop wasnt even switching on. then they tell me that the mother board has a problem and that it would cost me appx 20k for repair. i was furious that within just 14 months after i spent 66k on a laptop, that he tells me that it wont work! i asked him what i could do...he smiles and tells me to go repair it in a local store for 8-10 k.
i mean, i got so pissed after this, that i threw that laptop in the attic.
what kind of lousy service is that and what sort of ridiculous products do they manufacture? my friends at college, 5 of them had the same problem with the dv2000 series too. i hope the HP hotshots do something fast. we have been cheated very badly. i hope something is done

Dear Sirs. My son gifted me HP laptop with details given above after buying it from Harvey Norman computers, Wellington, NZ on 3.10.08. It is still under global warranty. It has been working satisfactorily except that the caps lock has stopped glowing and it gives me unnecessary trouble in operation.I lodged a complaint to H &P India with details on 27.5.09 but nothing has come out.Today on 1st June, 09 I am lodging this complaint with a request to attend to it at once without any delay.

1. i got my laptop repaired at Dehradun during my visit at Roorkee. They replaced hard disk but didn't installed original windows however the license version was free. For this they said will take another 1 month. Alternatively you can get it from any hp service center. But when i visited at Agra hp outsourcing service center they said that the warranty is city wise, you have to make complaint at Dehradun center. What is this????????? they are asking for Rs. 10000.
2. my charger damaged due to sparking at adjoining wire and due to this our bed sheet got damaged, safe due to water available at that time. Your service center said that physical damaged of charger not come under warranty and for repairing you have to pay Rs. 1000.
This shows gross negligence at the time of selling and poor customer service for replacing the same.
Hence this creates mental and financial harassment of the customer as a whole.
Kindly replace the currency immediately otherwise will lodged complaint at Consumer Forum.

do not worry. u just go 2 service center and show them. i[censored] dont have recovery dvd, eventhough after F11 recovery.u will get new dvd through courier. i got new recovery disk after showing problem to authorized service center.

HP Pavilion KM830PA DV6756TX — CAPS LOCK DOESN'T GLOW
Dear sirs. My son from NZ gifted me the above laptop after buying it from Harvey Norman Computers, Wellington, NZ vide Invoice No. 41/181579 dt. 3.10.08. It has been working satisfactorily but a week before the caps lock indicator stopped glowing. This gives me a lot of irritation as I compose.The laptop is still under global warranty.
I lodged complaints via email on 27th May, 09, on 1st June, 09 and on 3rd June, 09. But I am amazed that it has not been attended to yet. I request you to let me know what I should do and whose door I should knock at to get this problem removed. I wonder that such things do happen in the corridors of such big internationally reputed concerns. It is simply amazing and shocking as well.
I request for favour of an early action.

HP Pavilion Model No - A6511 IN Home PC — Non receipt of Gift
Dear Sir,I had purchase HP Pavilion desktop model no- a6511in Home pc on dated 26/10/2008 from Darlaghat( Himachal Pradesh). Which serial no is INA8290FL3, With this product there was one scheme one that time for gift. on this subject regarding i am allready send all required document along with the DD in favor of M/S Innovative incentives & Events Pvt Ltd for Ruppes 1500/ on dated 07/11/2008. After that they are alloted my Redemption code:- 26821 and my file no is 26848. But yet i have not received any gift from your end.
So kindly look on this matter and as early as possible and revert back me at the earlist, oterwise i am bound to go consumer court.
