[Resolved]  HP Compaq Laptop — Free gift offer

Non receipt of free gift offer

I purchased a laptop compaq presario v6409 during oct-2007 and i was entitled for a free gift offer. As reqd. I sent a dd for rs.600/- with all the reqd. Documents such as bill, original cardboard piece containing sl. No. Etc. After obtaining a number from hp redempiton which was noted on the bill and sent it to hp redemption cell, delhi, on[protected]. As per conditions - the item will be delivered after 8 weeks. I waited for 8 weeks.

But the party m/s hp redemption cell c/o solutions integrated mktg. Serv. Pvt. Ltd., a-2, okhla industrial area, phase-i, new delhi 110020 (Phone[protected] returned the only above dd (No.[protected], dt 17/10/2007, issued from indian overseas bank – chartola malanjkhand mp), but this party has not returned the other original document, which were sent by me. As per the party, they could not processed it due to the reason “ worng name – i. E. Solutions integrated marketing services pvt. Ltd.

For the free gift offer, the party was unable to process the claim due to the reason that wrong name was mentioned as "solution integrated markreing servicer p. Ltd.", which is not correct. The name on the dd was hp redempiton cell, delhi, only.Instead of sending the gift after 8 weeks, dd was returned to me with the noting wrong name, that too after say 9 weeks. If there was an error, the same should have been intimatged to me immediately rather waiting for more than 8 weeks and not sending the gift as per the conditons. Kindly advise on the issue at the earliest.

I purchased HP pavilion series laptop on the 13july'09 and then within 9 days, i sent Rs3999/- DD and original stickers for free gifts student offer. You mentioned it will take 6-8 weeks to deliver but now time going on quickly and m not got my gift yet.

HP Pavillion DV5 1120ez — Tortoise moving service centre

I had given my note book dv51120ez to Maha electronics south end circle Bangalore for replacement of HDD of 250GB, as its in still warranty peroid, its three weeks are over still i didnot get my laptop.once in a week i get SMS alert from service provider that "still we didnot receive ur HDD we are looking it on high priority and resolve the issue at the earliest" the same SMS i am getting starting from the day one itself, the service number for this is NB0704-007.
Really HP service is worst compare to DELL laptop service.

I suggest all future buyers not to go with HP note book, as this is the same feedback from all of my friends who purchased the note book along with me...

HP Pavilion 53760IN Desktop — Non supply of free gifts

I had purchase The HP Pavilion Desktop 53760in (S.No. CNX8460TYZ) & HP Pavion V220Tft on 12.03.2009 and I was offered two free gifts i.e. one 600 va UPS and one Printer-cum-COpier-cum-scanner. But recieved only UPS vide docket no.[protected] from Redmption cell of Hp Chandigarh on 07.07.09. I had lodged a complaint to HP on17.07.2009 vide complaint No. CCHSAP220929 DT. 17.07.2009. But no action has so far been taken by HP to deliver the withheld gift by it. Can we trust HP any more? May I expect that the HP will fulfill its promise?

HP — Tablet PC

Hi.
This is not the first time I am registering a complaint here. I have a Tablet tx1000AU with me and have had trouble since the day i got it and have got the run around since then not only by the people who sold it to me(digital Shoppe who told me that the computer has an onsite warranty and was told later that it does not by HP) . I was a also told that the computer could be upgraded to 4 GB ram and when I wanted to I came to know that it works only with 1 GB .Being a computer person myself(i Work will Dell Support) I don’t think I would have chosen this if I knew that 1 GB was the max but also have had a lot of trouble with HP also... Ever since I got the computer I have had trouble with the computer and have never felt like i was a valued Hp customer. Secondly and most importantly is that I never felt like I owned a BRAND NEW "Tablet PC”. One speaker of the computer never worked and the computer never stayed on for more than half an hour on the battery power and then I gave the computer back to digital Shoppe(who was to get the computer fixed for me) and they kept the computer for about 3 to 4 months and a after a lot of persuasion I got the computer back without it being touched so then I contacted hp a few times and finally after a few months i was contacted by a Mr. Rajan from Hp. So I told him about the trouble I had and he asked me to get the computer to the service centre which I did. The computer was kept by HP for 4 days and when i got it back i was told that the speaker problem was fixed and he (Rajan) told me that he had ordered for the battery and he would send it to me in a week's time and it has been a few months now. I did call HP about a while back to talk to Rajan and was told that he was not there and did not work for hp anymore and that was told to me by someone called Kumar. They asked me for the work order number and when I gave it to them they said that there was no such work order. I still do have the paperwork I got from HP. After the computer was returned to me I now not only have that battery trouble but the display does not work fine (the touch screen works very bad and also shows a hue when the computer switches screens), the fingerprint reader also does not work like it use to anymore. The speaker problem was fixed but now I have a lot more trouble instead.

I cannot use the computer as a tablet as when it is in tablet mode and when i am working on it gives you a shock at times and also just suddenly turns off by itself for no reason. I am a hardware person myself and work for dell and have found no apparent reason why the computer should bee working like this and why hp is giving me such a tough time to get this computer fixed or as i have been asking since I got the first time I got the computer back from Digital Shoppe i want the computer replaced. Who do I contact and what do I do...I have tried calling, I have tried email and chat and also going to the service centre and things do not seem to be working out. After spending this much on a computer i did expect some quality service in case of trouble which I feel is zero in my case and do not know why. I am in 2 minds now to take this up with the consumer forum (which is another head ache and run around) I do not know if all this is worth all this trouble.

-What is the use of a tablet pc when you cannot carry it around as now it has become so bad that once I run it on it does not even fully boot up without the power connected to it.

-What is the use of a tablet when i cannot use it as a tablet and it gives me a shock?

-What is the use of a computer that cannot be upgraded with more than 1 GB ram ( I was told that it was upgradable to 4 when i bought it)

-Last but not the least what is the use of having a telephone number on the hp website "Phone :[protected]" (coped from the hp website). That does not work. With a fax number too “Fax:[protected]” that does not work.

. I am very UNHAPPY with the product and service I have received and would like someone to look into this matter at the earliest and yes i do now plan to take this up with the computer forum as it was sold to me with the wrong pretext. Now that i got some time on my hands to get this sorted out as i have not had the time to do so. But I think its Hp that needs to follow up with me after me writing in, calling in so many times.

I think i was carried away by the card that they had kept net to the computer with the specs and with the specs it can be upgraded to, But now i know that all that was false and can prove it all. I have everything from the original box of the computer with me ready to be sent back to you.

the wireless on the computer never has worked after the first time they fixed the speakers and the computer gives a whock while using it...as now they sayd that the computer is not in warrany so they cannot do anything but i registered he complaint when the computer was in warranty

HP Compaq CQ 60 104 TU — Repeated hardware failures

I bought Compaq CQ 60 104 TU laptop on NOV 10 2008 .Since last 3 months i am repeatedly getting problems.first time is display pannel having patches on it i gave it for service and replaced the pannel.after 15 days hard disk failure again i went to service replaced hard disk.Now i am getting problem with keypad i had again given it for service now the service people are unable to trace out the problem they say keypad is fine but problem with display pannel.

My query is how could a new notebook get into these many repeated problems with in 8 months.I am sure i got a deffective product.Some one help me in this regard
