[Resolved]  HP LPG — New Domestic LPG connection - refusal and inordinate delay

I have recently moved in to Bangalore and approached a HP distributor (M/s Shakthi Enterprises) for a new connection for domestic LPG. When the distributor refused to register the request, I escalated the matter to HP Customer services. Strangely, the response received from HP was an instruction to visit the same distributor, register the request and wait for close to 3 months for the new connection to be released. The reason shown for the delay is "shortage of equipment". The explanation and the delay is completely unacceptable to me especially when I have a 3 year old baby at home to arrange food for. Thus I decided to submit this complaint.

Following is the response received from HPCL in this regard.

In case if you do not get the NC before the end of September 2008, please get in touch with us quoting the above Registration No. Due to shortage of equipment, we are not releasing any new connection as of date.

Were you able to get the new connection? I applied in March'2008 at the same dealer, and am still waiting it to get resolve. Everytime I get the same response to wait for another 2 months.

i have HP LPG domestic gas connection at palayamkottai, tirunelveli dt., of tamil nadu. since my got job at bangalore we r [censored]ing our residence at bangalore. how to transfer the connection from my native place of above and get the connection at bangalore. please inform the details regarding this.
