[Resolved] HSBC Credit Card — Defaulter List
Sir/Madam, I had an issue with HSBC Credit Card regarding my convertion of outstanding to EMI. Below are the details, I requested HSBC Credit Card to convert my outstanding amount to EMI in 2002 and they said it will take atleast 5 working days. After 2 days I confirmed from the credit card department whether the request has been processed or not and they confirmed me that it is still under progress, than I requested them to stop the process and I settled the whole amount. After a month I received a statement from HSBC saying that I have to pay the pre-closure charges for the EMI conversion. I spoke to the concern department for many times (around two years I had talk with them) to revert back the pre-closure amount, since i have not taken any EMI. But they made me as a defaulter list in the CIBIL. Later both HSBC and myself came on the same page and I settled some amount and they promised me that they will revert the defaulter list from the CIBIL. But they have not done. Now I could not able to take any loans from bank. My point is all the credit card holders are facing many issues like this because of improper process of the bankers, than why CIBIL should consider about the credit card defaulters. Before posting to CIBIL, CIBIL should enquire about the issues from the both side and should clear the issue. Or the loan issuer bank should check for other transaction with other banks, mobile/telephone bills, Insurance, EB bills. Now I have settled down all the amount and have clearance mail from HSBC, is it possible to remove my name from the CIBIL's defaulters list. Or what should I do to get this issue short out? My details Name: Selvaraj Lingusamy DOB: 20-Oct-1977 Address: 125, First Floor, 6th Street, First Sector, K.K.Nagar, Chennai-78 Was this information helpful?

HSBC Credit Card — Listing into Defaulters List
Hi AllThis is Anirban Dey here. My problem is I had a HSBC credit card. I have some payment outstanding. But the outstanding is not due to my fault. It's partly HSBC and partly Tata AIG fault. Now they are claiming money from me. 2 days back HSBC personal called me and offered me to settle the account in a lower amount.
Now my question is, if I go for the account settlement, is there any chance to be listed in the banking defaulters list?
Please help me..
