I am a software professional working at Hyderabad. In the year 2006 I was harassed and forced to take the HSBC credit card bearing number [protected]. While issuing card the marketing executives of HSBC credit card division made promises that it is life time free credit card and no annual fees will levied.
I've been hardly using the card and made the payments in right time for the purchases done using the card.
Now in the year 2009 they started harassing me by levying annual fees for my card, late fees on that annual fees and all other charges.When i called up the customer care no one answered properly and I did not get solution.
I've put a mail to the HSBC information center mentioning my problem, i got a reply from them saying that at any cost i should pay the amount or else they will again levy the late fees and that will go on and on.
Please help me and protect me from this harassment.

HSBC Credit Cards, India — Levying of Annual Fees

My HSBC Credit card no. is [protected] issued to me in Chennai. As usual, while issuing the card, I was told that his is going to be a "life time Free" credit card and there will be no membership fee or annual charges levied whatsoever.

However, as sson as the first year of the card possession completed, I started to get statements including the annual fees (of which I had no idea about). The same was taken to the attention of the customer care executives of HSBC who promised to reverse the charges.

Unfortunately no action was taken from HSNC's sdie and I continued to receive the outstanding statement the successive month including late payment fee also. I once again called up HSBC customer care and explained the issue, this time requesting them to even cancel my card if this is going to be the case. I got a service request no.[protected] and was assuered that an email has been sent to the concerned dept. and that my outstandings will be reversed.

Sadly, no positive results were seen even after repeated follow ups (nearly 10 to 12 times) with HSBC 's so called customer care. They never bother to solve the issue and till date i receive the monthly statment, escalating very month by the late payment fee.

HSBC should have some conscience before harassing people like this nad not even bothered to solve their problem even after repated follow ups. I got a feeling that this is the way this compnay works as my case is not eh first regarding people being charged annual fee ontheir credit cards whle veryone are promised that it will be a life time free card.

Hope there are still some people working in HSBC who are atleast bothered to give try to solve such issues.

Hoping that my problem will be taken care atleast in the future to come.

I too have the same problem with HSBC. They are keep on sending the Bill. They are making there their customer worry. There was no customer satisfication. This is actually indirect faurd . becuse they are asking our money simply like cambling.

Tell how can we make complaints to BAN HSBC in India.

HSBC Credit Card — Annual fees levied for a free card

I was issued a HSBC credit card some years ago, under a scheme wherein no yearly charges are applicable, whatsoever. For the last 2-3 years, I have not been charged any annual fee. I have not had any outstanding payment either.
In the last few months, I have not been using the credit card much and thought of cancelling the same. When I communicated the same to HSBC bank, they immediately levied some “yearly charges” to the tune of more than three thousand rupees. They then asked me to pay that amount and only then they will cancel the card. When I contacted them again and stated that I was given a free card without annual fees, they refused to acknowledge the same. They said that their brochures and other ads show changes in plans and that I should be aware of the same. I have the communication thru email, stating the above facts.
Please advise me on how I can take this ahead.

    I am writting mail to HSBC from Dec-2005 on mail id- [protected]@hsbcbank.co.in & [protected]@hsbc.co.in and I received reply in June-2008, what a service in 21 century???.

    In May & June-2009, I received 3 calls from HSBC Mumbai-Malad recovery off also it's from different-different persons every time I given same reply means my all previous history/ transactions happened.

    They are saying ok, we will check & revert back but they will never revert back & because of this my billing amt is increasing month by month.

    I think HSBC is not interested in settling old pending dues and every month they are sending bills along with advertisement papers hence my card is already closed & it’s written on statement also it's wastage.

      Hi All,
      I am [censored]al.V.Patel closed my HSBC credit card (Card No-[protected]) before one & half yeay because I moved to Canada. But during my holding time of this bank card their customer care officer offered me TATA AIG Insurance & without my permission this Bank charged me for TATA AIG Insurance. But I am moving to CANADA I closed my credit card & I have given 15 hand written complain to HSBC Vadodara-Gujarat-INDIA office but they still sanding me monthly statement & their recovery agents calling my mobile to pay the TATA AIG Insurance premeum. I have no outstanding due payment & I have all documents of my payments. I already mailed to HSBC & they also provide me a reply which is attached hear,

      my credit card number was [protected].& amt. due Rs. 10113.31. my credit card already cancelled at the time of reneval before fur years and after that now bank are sending bill as a finance charges so i shocked after long time bank sending me bill as a outstanding amount of Rs. 10113.31. pl. reverse the said amount and delite my name from list of hsbc credit A/c. Pl.. do the needfull.

        Respected Sir,

        I have a credit card with HSBC bank ([protected]) and using for the past 1.6 Years. Meanwhile i am paying amount at a right time.Sometimes i was late to pay the payments.
        They have my changed mobile number ([protected]) as i was updated them imeediatly while changing my mobile number and also they have my parents landline number.
        The Credit card collection department regularly harasses my parents by doing call to the landline instead of call to my mobile number. My parents use to tell them to call my mobile number. But they never call me and disturb my parents only.
        This is all because of my late payment and once i did the payment also, they use to call and harras my parents.
        Tell me the solution what i have to follow to stop them to call my parents.

          hi, i did not purchase any insurance product or anything through HSBC, but they have charged me Rs.995/- stating that i have purchased something like CPP(card protection policy) which i do not want to purchase, my question is how could they take money from my account without my knowledge.my mobile no is [protected].chennai

            Dear Sir,

            Myself Rupali Rahul Jadhav having credit card of HSBC (Card No - [protected] ).

            I have done the followup for final settlement. Calledup many times in the call centre and took the collection department no[protected] . I have called up on this number since last month when my balance was Rs. 17739/- nobody was pickingup the phone then i have calledup again on the 66800001 in the call centre they provide me the same no., last week onwards continusly calling on the same no. nobody was picking up the phone. Mr. Jayesh (Call center exec. ) gave me Chennai no.[protected]. Calledup on the STD no. they provide me the same no. and ask me to visit any nearby bank. Now the balance is Rs. 20043/- . Need to do the final settlement.

            I am finding it difficult to continue with HSBC Credit Card. Service to customer is totally deteriorated. For last three months I have not received the hard copy of my monthly statement. I was effecting payment on the basis of SMS that I used to receive on my mobile phone. But this month, HSBC has not bothered to send me the SMS also. On contacting your local Pune Office call gets cooly closed after initial talk only.

            I request you to mail me your final settlement statement on the mailing address given above and treat my account as closed with immediate effect.

              I have stated my case in detail in one of the correspondence with HSBC. Bank is accepting that there is no outstanding balance still I not getting NOC even after repeated request. Bank is even not providing reason for not issuing the NOC.

              When I have made the complete payment of all the outstanding dues for which I have received an acknowledge mail as well, why am I not getting NOC.

              Some of the financial institution are not accepting this as a reference mails for no dues. They are asking for NOC certificate. So please arrange for the same.

              Also to recall, this card was issues to me with the promise that this would be lifetime free. However, in my first statement when I have seen that the joining fee and yearly charges waere levied, on interaction with you customer care I was told that this will be reverted and reflected in my next statement and no need to pay any financial charges amount. So accordingly I have made the payment of Rs. 8398 (cheque no 268064) dated 21-12-06 which I made the purchase. After that I had surrendered my card by cutting it into two pieces and dropped in one of the ABN AMRO ATM dropbox (I am having a photocopy of the same).

              I again got the statement almost after 7 months[protected] with all the charges, then I called up Chennai office and discussed this with one of ABN AMRO sr. official on the same day around 4:30 PM. After checking the details she told me that an amount of Rs 588 (I have made a purchase) was outstanding which I had not paid, as that was not reflected in the statement for which I had made the above payment of Rs 8398. She then told me to make the payment of Rs. 588, which I have paid through a cheque (no. 576687 dated[protected] to collecting person Pankaj (of BSA), with a promise to get NOC letter once the amount got credited. Though the amount got deducted from my account I have never received any NOC. Later I was trying to follow up but didn't get in tough with here again.

              Post that I have not received any statement so I thought that the case was closed. Suddenly I received and notice dated 29-02-08 stating some oustanding amount that need payment. On discussion they have suggested to go for settlement and I agreed for it. So on receiving "Without Prejudice" notice with settlement amount of Rs 1000 I have made the payment throught cheque (no 777159 dated[protected]. Even after that I have not received any NOC.

              In order to close this I visited you branch in NOID sector-18 office on 30-06-09 and was told by Mohit Chopra (AVP - Debt Management Consumer Credit Risk) that though the settlement was done on 2008 but due to technical error it was not updated in bank. Further, another bank manager (Hitesh Arora and Balakram) suggested that in order to close this account I need to pay outstanding amount as of date. Again I have made the payment on 02-07-09 of the same in cash and sent the scanned copy of the receipt to [protected]@hsbc.co.in.

              Still I am hearing that "We regret our inability to provide No Objection
              Certificate ( NOC) as per bank's norms". So I wanted to know why still I will not get the NOC.

              Here by just want all of the concerned people in my vicinity (my friends and my relatives and all possible people I associate with) to be informed (rather WELL INFORMED) that NEVER CHOOSE HSBC BANK Credit Card I will never ever recommend any one to go for HSBC bank. Another reason being the ROI was not better compared to other banks when I made the deal, but as my purchase was the last day of month where targets are to be met it was sanctioned with the ROI that was offered by others!

              I have made full payment not settlement after they told me we wont give NOC to you because it is against bank policy. HSBC customer care is useless because that bugger unable to give correct information(Simple they are uneducated)
              The slogan your The world's local bank ! Looks dull to me – I suggest to change it to The world's local bank

                I submitted a standing instruction on June 20th at Jayanagar branch (which is actually in Basavanangudi), for automatic transfer of credit card bill in full from my savings account to the credit card department. I was given assurance at front office that impending payment transaction on July 1st will be taken care by this request. Well, the Chennai back office sat on my requisition, nothing happened, I did not get the customer alert from the HSBC on payment not happening, may be because the due amount for that month was only in Rs. 300+. But, after that, by June 10th, I made new chare offs Rs. 92K and Rs. 4.11 K, now the collection department woke up and started calling me for minimum payment. My explanation to them as the mess of at HSBC end fell on deaf ears as they catagorically said their job is to collect, and it is of any concern to them to solve customer problems. I went to the front office and lodged a complaint, Ref #[protected], the customer rep called many numbers in Chennai to fix the problem, noone picking the phone, she even showed me how my application is stuck in their electronic records because no one in Chennai is actioning on it. She requested a new standing instruction submission as she lost faith in processing the old one herself, I submitted new one as a replacement to the old one with necessary comment on it, now the argument from idiotic customer service is that they are honoring the new submission which is beyond payment date, and none in HSBC are owing up to the original mess they have creatd by not processing the original request. I lodged one more complaint at customer service, Ref #[protected], still no action, but collection department calls me on average three times a day literally harassing me and ignoring complaints that are not actioned. Yesterday, I wrote to grievance cell, still no action, yet a single soul has not called me to fix this problem, no one has clue or authority to solve the problem, those who have authority are in deep slumber or busy playing golf games, the entire beuracratic machinary of HSBC is under the impression that they can get over this issue by hood winking me and brow beating me. Today, I called the customer service to lodge a new complaint for inaction on first two complaints, clearly the rep was dodging to take a new complaint, I had to disconnect the call after being put on indefinite wait. There is no one left in HSBC who can solve this small problem with common sense and courtesy, a mess created by themselves, everyone hiding behind beuracracy and self interests, complicating the problem every day, the harassment of collection department escalating everyday.                   I was holding HSBC credit card number ***************5198. A few months ago, HSBC closed my credit card account without any notification. After a few months of closure, i received a number of phone calls from HSBC to make a settlement by paying Rs. 3000 against the outstanding. I agreed to them and they sent an executive to handover the settlement letter to me and to collect the settlement amount on 30/12/2008. The settlement letter was issued saying your no dues statement will be issued once you have paid Rs. 3000 before 2nd Jan 2009. I paid the same amount on 30/12/2009 to the executive and got payment receipt by HSBC. I have the settlement letter and receipt with me. I received the last statement on Jan 2008 saying payment of Rs. 3000 but account not settled and it was showing a due amount. After jan 2009, i did not receive any statement from HSBC.
                  This month, when i visit the bank to get the no dues certification or 0 balance statement, they told me that there is no such settlement offered to me on the same date. I shown the settlement letter to them and they denied this sying its a false letter. They also told me that the agency which collected money has been closed now and HSBC is not responsible for the same. Now they are asking me to re-settle the account.
                  I am not going to pay anything because of your or your authrised agency's fault. I need the NOC or 0 balance statement else have to file case in Cunsumer Court.

                  I too am facing the same problem can any one help me out of this,
                  i had a outstanding of 5000 and i payed 2400 through settlement and the settlement letter told it will cleared completely once i pay the settlement amount. but now i got a statement saying i have to pay the whole amount

                  HSBC Credit Card — Settlement Fraud

                  Hello,
                  Below is the case till date:

                  I took this personal card sometime in[protected] in Pune.
                  I left Pune in May 2005, moved to Bangalore. My mistake, I left it with some outstanding, which I don't remember. I tried to follow up following month to clear outstanding and close the card, I very well remember the call center executive said the card was closed. I now confirmed that the card was closed in May 2005.
                  Oct 21, 2009, I get a call from a woman claiming to be Inspector from Delhi who said there is a criminal case (CC No 1692/2007, Patiala lok adalat, New Delhi) against me and they have a non-bailable warrant and threatened me that I would be arrested in 2 hours time. On enquiry, she reluctantly gave me HSBC Lawyer's contact (Ms Raina in Mumbai).
                  When I contacted Lawyer and requested her to withdraw the case at any cost, she said total outstanding is Rs 65500, if I can pay 60% of the outstanding amount in cash (Rs.40,000) immediately at HSBC Bangalore office and give her receipt number, she will be able to get NOC from HSBC and withdraw the case and she did so (according to my knowledge). She also said she will send the NOC to me, which I have not received till date. Shortly after this, she has not been reachable on her phone. Now, the phone is switched off permanently.
                  All this happened in 4 hours of time, I really went through a mental turmoil and everything seemed to be over once I paid the amount.
                  When I enquired about the case through a lawyer in Patiala court in Delhi, The case is no given by the Lawyer does not have any relevance to me.
                  HSBC lawyer claimed that all the case notifications were sent to my Pune office address which I did not receive (I had someone check the mails for me)
                  I have called HSBC call center number of times for hours, they did not cooperate to give me statements of 2005.

                  Both of these numbers are permanently switched off now.

                  I am really frustrated and harassed by HSBC. please find me a resolution for this. thanks.
                  I was authorised to discuss Ms. Langhorne Hsbc credit card bill, on 2/1/10am, with one of your representative regards the dishonest act on her bill from domino pizza of $220.While discussing the bill I explaining to her that we acknowledge the January payment of $28.But the bill is incorrect and needs to be corrected showing the amount of $220 subtracted, and to send us the corrected bill inorder for us to pay our monthly payment.
                  But instead of that the service agent was very rude by telling us we still have to pay the late assessment charges and we told her no we requested long in advance before the january due bill date is expired to let us have the corrected bill so that we can pay the current charges for January. This did not happy we received a bill on Saturday 1/29/10, showing us the $220 and pass due amount and the assessment of $39.Your agent was very very nasty and hang up the phone in my face.we are now disputing the$220/$39.00. because the agent action I am going to national TV with this bill about Hsbc ways of conduting business with not properly trained people. also we need this Transaction summery to be corrected. we have made arrangements to pay the $28. that is due for January between 2/1/10 to 2/2/10.

                    I Have Home Loan A/c no.[protected] &[protected] with HSBC Bank Indore for 15 years term and Installment is in all most regular upto july-2009 month, instead of this Bank wrongly filed RRC case with Tehsidar Mr Satyendra Singh, Indore for Total Loan Recovery sum of Rs. 328000/-. I have visit branch managar (Mr Vivek) Indore (M.P.) regarding this matter and promise in writing to pay whole loan with interest and charges within one year instead of not default in any manner but he was not replied properly. I Also send Email on HSBC Bank Portal for Asking My Account Track Record for further action but he was not provide the same since last 3 days. I am a Reputed person in Indore and engaged in Practice of Income Tax & Vat Tax in Indore and Madhya Pradesh.

                    At HSBC Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2010 I did address my concerns with the Board of Directors concerning what HSBC India has been doing and is doing in India to our customers.

                      i have settled my credit card in may 2008. as per the letter received i have to get the zero balance statement in three months. but till date i have nore receive the zero balance statement. i am receiving the statement showing some balance regularly every month.

                          My name is Sudhesh Chand & I am your customer using credit card for more than 2 years & over a period of time my card is being upgraded to Platinum card.My previous card number was [protected] & my platinum card number is [protected].
                          I am using your card even in foreign countries & during my trip to China last year I had used the card & after my return I am not getting the statements regularly & regarding this issue I have spoken to many of your staff members for no use.
                          I had some queries regarding the finance charges effected on my card TWICE in the month of Jan 2009 for which I called upon many people through the HSBC branch office with the help of one Miss.MEENA but even then they could not solve my problem.Later it was Mr.THEJA MOHAN (Your staff here in Mysore br.)who did many Intra Bank request regarding my issue & on one day Mr.Senthil.S.Kumar who called on my mobile stating that he is contacting me just looking at Mr.Theja Mohan's mail but I was on a shopping time by that time which I told him & in turn he told me that he would be calling the next day which was a Sunday which I reminded him of for which he said no matter whether it is even Sunday.Till date he has not called me at all.
                          Yesterday when I went to buy my groceries I gave my card for the payment of just Rs.977/= which was denied & I thought maybe a problem with the swiping machine then I bought a lap top & when I tried to make the payment through the card it once again denied the transaction.Immediately I got a call from one of your staff member from number[protected] telling me that I have to contact the customer as there is some payment problem.I was totally robbed by this.
                          I am not getting the statements regularly since Jan 2009 for which I have already made a complaint through the phone & even they had responded to it by saying that it will be done.Now once again I am requesting you to send me all the statements starting from Dec 2008 till date through to my mail so that I can acess whether I stand good to be your customer in future or not.You can go through my track record so far & not in one occassion I am a defaulter.
                          Inspite of not receiving the statements regularly I have been making the payment & I am mentioning the payments I made since Jan 2009 below.

                          Get rid of the card sir. HSBC is doing a pathetic job on its platinum cards. I missed a payment of 4, 000 ruppees since i didnt get the bill. Not only was my card blocked but my limit reduced from 1.2 Lakhs to 24, 000. I had been a customer of HSBC bank for the last 7 years but the behaviour with the Platinum card was just rediculous. I even had a call center executive shout at me and say 'Do u know ENGLISH'. I am glad that after much follow-up that my card was cancelled and I have pledged that I will not use any HSBC service ever again !

                              Hello Prarthana, I can understand your mental state and what you have gone through. I have suffered with this thing recently for an overdue payment of HSBC credit card. I am an NRI staying in South Africa. They called up my people in India even distant relatives and started threatening them for police arrest and everything. They said I will be taken out from South Africa by Indian embassy and all other fraudant statements. One number was given every threatening calls that was of Mr Arnab Chawdhury. I called him From South Africa and found that the my due of 1, 40, 000. I didn't receive the communication from them for at least 6 months.

                              Even then I paid the entire due in 7 days time. After that I got another statement which showed another 5000 as due. I went on calling to this same person

                              Sent at least 5 mails just to confirm my payment but didn't get any reply.

My Family reputation has been spoiled, life is ruined for the torture and mental trauma I have gone through. I now a days think of committing suicide for this. Not sure is there any law in India where we can get justice?
                              The people like Arnab chowdhury who work in responsible positions and use illegal tactics, hire Gundas to threaten customers should be severely punished. Id s there any one who can help us in India?

                              Till now they have not given you NOC and your name is in Defaulter list. Please dont be surprised when they again call you for dues due to charges from the day you had stopped using your card.When you make a sattlement by doing negotiation they dont remove you from defaulter list. And they use to put charges over the remaining money.Even if you wanted to take NOC by paying in full, they wouldn't have agreed over this.

                                This is to inform you that i am stuggling with HSBC for the charges they levid which i don't know from where they charged and my card is expired in 2007, Please note that i met on 18th march to HSBC Connaught place branch and explain the issue and they and said you have to speak to somebody in collection department, they have given me the number of Jatin Arora ([protected]).I tried that number and after few days i got to know that i have to call other number number [protected] Mr Gaurav Girdhar, i tried his number and after so many trials he picks up and i explain that charges levy on my credit card is not mine and he said it will be taken care of and he was suppose to come back to me, but no response.

                                THEY ARE CHARGING MONTHLY SINCE 2007 EVEN MY CARD IS EXPIRED AND DID NOT SENT ANY STATEMENT FOR THE CHARGED MONEY NOR ANY PAPERS IN WHICH CONNECTION THIS IS BEING CHARGED. I HAVE WRITTEN SEVERAL TIMES TO THEM BUT THEY ASKED ME EVERYTIME YOUR AMOUNT IS PENDING TO PAY. NOT RESOLVING MY COMPLAINTS

                                I was a HSBC credit card customer from last 4-5years.
                                Kindly refer my credit cards ending with 4476****5676 i was offered this card by HSBC as a life time free card now they have charged me with annual sevice charges of Rs.700/-& Rs.350/- for addon card. I have immediately informed the customer care department and told them to please reverse these charges. Even after the cancellation the charges they told me that i have to pay this amount without even use the card. Is it justify from any point of view.
                                had also a very bad exp with HSBC, they use thired party for selling off their credit cards who will not speak truth at the selling time and says it is a life time free card but actually when u take this HSBC starts sending the annual fees which is 2000 for Gold credit card, I got this card in my office at HSBC free champign and never used. When i saw statment they calulated (don't know about their calcualtion) for otstanding of 9k whic was only their annual fees n all.. I never used this card. When i approached them they reversed it now but they put my name in CIBIL as a defaulter. Now i am stuck for loan and feeling like cheated by HSBC. We should gather and raise this to RBI.

                                I won't suggest anybody to go for HSBC, i[censored] wanna go please read document carefully and take sign also of marketing executie on commitments.

                                  I took 35 lakhs, smart home loan account for 180 months, within 36 months i almost cleared 30 lakhs, and requested to chnage the EMI instead of Tenure of the loan (everything was done in writing), the bank was still forcing me to pay the old EMI, they were not ready to change the tenure, when i didn't paid the EMI for two months ( it was calculated on the basis of old tenure), they started sending goons to my place, i said ok i don't mind paying the EMI as per old calulations, but in that case bank should not charge me the pre closure amount (@ 2%), some person By name of Raj infact told me ok will not charge any pre closure amount if i pay the full amount, which i agreed since i didn't wanted to get harrased by the goons, but even after paying the full amount in cash with preclosure amount, the bank is not releasing the papers, and infact they are charging me intrest on the overall loan amount????????????????
                                  AND TO ADD SALT TO INJURY, I AM ONE OF THE PREMIERE CLINTE OF THE BANK.

Since march 2008, I am working in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania as Chief Operating Officer for Bidco Oil & Soap Limited and my contact number is +[protected] on two years work permit (Permit is valid up to March'2010)

                                    Two weeks back when I applied for Housing Loan I was informed in CIBIL report there was an write off of Rs.71, 469 is written off as bad debts as non payment. While contacting HSBC through e mail requesting them to provide the transaction details they are repeatedly sending same misleading mail again and again which says "We can not delete your entry". I am not at all requesting them to delete my entry infact I am challenging them it is their mistake of showing the write-off wherein I have paid all my dues. If all the transaction details are provided I can prove them wrong. Also I have two more credit cards with the same bank. If I am not paying will not they chase me over mails (as I have all monthly credit card communication from HSBC which proves that they have my mail ID)

                                    Hi guys if any body has opted the HSBC premium ofer, I am sorry for u all...And if any body is planning to take that, I would say no for that.Its just a mere cheating and gambling playes by this SO CALLED INTERNATIONAL BANK HSBC.

                                    I received the call one day from one of the executives of HSBC and they confirmed me that u had been selected for this offer.And I asked what them wat sort of benefits wud u b providing.They replied me with these options:

                                    And the amount they charge in order to avail this facility was 6000 Rs around.I was very much excited and asked them if they would be providing me the Air fare as well for free.And they replied me yes.Since I stay very long from my home town, I thought this offer would make me go home in few hours atleast once which usually takes 30 hrs in train..So considering these benefits I opted this plan and they deducted the amnt 6000 from my HSCB credit card.

                                    Now the real story starts.I recevied som documenet related to availing facilities provided in the plan and along with it a wrist watch worhting 4500 Rs as they mentioned.The watch was good of POLO london club.

                                    And then I was going through the document kit which they sent and I found a worse news regarding the air fare.It mentioned in that they can provide only the base fare and the taxes have to be borne by the passenger himself.The flight is also decided by them.We are not given the choivce to choose the flight.What a comedy this was.In flight the base fare som times costs just 300 or 400 and the rest amnt is the taxes which are to be borne by the passenger usually in 4000 or more.So i need to cover this price as well.What a cheat is this.They dint mention this when they called me.I feel very sorry for accepting this ..And frnds I checked the cost the wrist watch in the internet and it gave me another shock..The price of the watch was around 700-800 Rs only..

                                    Look at the game played by HSBC bank and how they are swallowing the hard earned money from a person..

                                    I request you all to think once or twice when ever these bloody cheaters call u for an offer.The more u offer, the more u l b in truobles and thte more the bank benfits.

                                      I was using a HSBC Visa Gold credit card ([protected]) since late 2009. In December I did not receive the statement on time even after calling customer care. I request for e-statement, that was also not sent on time. I anticipated the due date and due amount of my own and paid the same. However the due date was missed by few days and the amount was also not the exact ( i think I paid Rs 70, 000 and actual amount was around 77, 000). Because of this, late payment fee and finance charges were imposed and it was not waived off even after I called customer care.
                                      This fee and interest fee keeps mounting up. I have stopped using the card for last few months and cleared all due amount which I have spent for purchasing. The only outstanding amount is now cumulative late payment fee and interest charges, which they are not reversing.

                                      hsbc credit card statement — interest and late fee charged

                                      I deposited payment thru cheque on 3rd of dec 07 [BILL PERIOD 17TH NOV O 15TH DEC.07] whereas statement recd showing payment recd on 12 th .this is happing second time on earlier occation also intrest and late payment charges INSPITE OF PAYING IN TIME. THIS IS CAUSE CONCERN AND IF NOT RECTIFIED I SHALL BE FORCED TO CANCEL THE CARD.

                                      Hi everybody,

                                      i have made balance transfer for rs 10K. but i haven't got a single statement and i regularly follow the collection center and customer care center and front office forward my call to her senior manager and she is also saying the same thing. Now I got a call from one legal advisor and saying that they are going to file a case for me and more over they have added my name in seible database and asking me 47K to close the account. Please don’t go with HSBC bank for anything. They are cheater.

                                      hsbc credit card statement — Reversal of TATA AIG INSURANCE PREMIUMS along with all surcharges .

                                      The money deducted towards insurance from my CREDIT CARDNO: ([protected]). Though, I am not insured atall with TATA AIG I NSURANCE . Though I got a call from TATA AIG I NSURANCE, I strickly refused saying that I am already insured with Reliance & further I cann't afford another one.
                                      So, please reverse all the payment made through my credit card. I have already made so many complains & my last complant no is [protected]. I am alreay harrsed too much.

                                      I have used HSBC credit card, i have made the transaction of 9, 000/- later when the due date came, i received a call from the bank for the payment as that was the last due date, bank executive said that he will be collecting the payment.

                                      I have said the executive, that i am going 2 make the total payment of 9000/- i have waited till the evening, executive hasn't turned up, i left for my work later in the evening executive came and collected the minimum amount of 200/-.

                                      Since from then continiously they have charged interest charges & Late payment.


                                      when i spoke to the executive he is denying that...

                                      i have stopped the payment...

                                      Transaction i made is 9, 000/- now the outstanding became 40, 000/-.

                                      If i make settlement, i think my name will be in CIBIL defaulters list.

                                      Kindly suggest me wat to do.
                                      Even I am facing the same Issue and now because of this cumulative late fee and finance charges the amount has risen to 5000 and my name has been written off in CIBIL . for this reason my application for loan got rejected. I am really so very much frustrated with this HSBC that i want to sue them. I came across so many people who have been harassed by these banks. Seriously want to do something to stop this menace. They will sent their representative speaking sweet words like "lifetime free card" and "no hidden charges what so ever" and once you are into their trap then just gone. They will not listen to your any word and if you complain they will just tell you that while signing the document its our responsibility to read the full terms and clauses. Really its such a bad bad world.

                                      I was reviewing the interest charges for last 1 year and found Rs. 11992/ has been charged because of part payment, I am seeking your help to get some waiver around 50% on the interest charges and I will make the full payment on outstanding and will continue with card.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        This is regarding my HSBC GOLD CREDIT CARD.I was using HSBC CARD - [protected], and had sattelled my Credit Card account in the year 2006 for Rs. 35000.and after that I am still receiving Credit Card statements regularly with interest charges and phone calls also from the recovery agents.I called and talked to the HSBC call centre(Customer Care Executive) several times regarding this issue but there was not any satisfactory answer as they always told me that talk to our recovery department, and when I called the recovery dept. they said that talk to Customer Care regarding this matter.

                                        Then I went to NOIDA at HSBC BANK to solve this matter, and I met Mr. Hitesh Arora and explained him the whole matter and show my satellment latter.At that time he took my Credit Card number and said he will revert back soon.I had regular follow-up for more than 3 months with him but there was no proper responce from his side.after that he started avoiding me.

                                        I was receiving phone calls from the HSBC recovery agents regarding the payments after 3 years(approx.). few days back I again Received a call from the recovery, and I again explained her the whole issue, Then she took my satellment number at that time after that I am still receving Credit Card statements with a huge amount of interest.Due to this matter me and my family is very much tensed.I request you to kindly solve this matter as soon as possible.

                                        Credit Card — Regular Phone Call

                                        Citi Bank is Regular calling me to pay my Credit Card Bill But i am in hospital at that time and i told Collection department to collect the payment from home but the exicutive not reached and citi bank charged intrest on me for that fwe days ago i am out of delhi but the samething happen i said th excutive that i am out of town so please collect the check from my home but the executive come on 15 and bank have charged the intrest on me again and uptil my minimum payment is done still i am getting call from bank that you have not done the payment but my check is allredy cleread on 17
                                        my credit card no [protected], my card cut 4 pcs had already been dispatched to your office in the year of 2007& send had been confirmed to your customer service, kol kata . more over my card is a life time free card then how come you can charge annual fee amout.As per last statement in sept 09 where an amount of Rs 2232.69 due for payment, thus this amount has cropped up from ZERO balance.kindly check & ensure.
