Credit Cards/Loans not related to me shown in my Credit Information Report of CIBIL

All the above Credit Cards/Loans of one Mr.Gopalakrishnan Mahdevan Pillai are wrongly included in my Credit Information Report of CIBIL inspite of the necessary proof of my address/PAN Card submitted by me to CIBIL.

The PAN Card No. shown in this report is AKEPG9841R.

Because of the inaccurate report of CIBIL, my loan applications to various banks for an Education loan for my son were rejected by the banks and I am put ot untold mental agony.

My repeated representations to the bank by mail/phone calls and personal visit to HSBC with all my proof did not yield any result and they still maintain that the information provided by them to CIBIL is correct.

I am a customer of Citibank, and I am holding a debit card and credit card of this bank for last five years but I did not use debit card last one year and never used credit card to purchase any think, only I got loan of one Lakh on this card from Citibank last three year ago. I am paying EMI every month but due to some delay to getting my salary since last four five months before I pay EMI a little delay at least 15 to 20 days.

Due to this little delay Citibank puts on big penalty on me every month. I requested so many times to Citibank executive that please change my bill generated date or don’t make penalty charge for a little delay but they refuse clearly with misbehave. And many times I said to discontinue my debit account but they did not do it and charging Rs 275 every months while I do not use this card last one year.

In start Citibank executive call me and offer for loan with very convening and politely way, and said no extra charge will be taken with you instead off your EMI only. But now they harass to me. Please help me.

HSBC — TATA AIG POLICY ATTACHED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION

Three issues on HSBC credit card department
1)TATA AIG Policy is attached without my permission.
2)I have sumitted cheque of OBC bank towards payment dut, HSBC sent this cheque to AXIS for clearance and chrged me late fee and interes on due .
3)Representative of hsbc called me regarding payment due, I have paid 2000.
He told if you pay outstandig amount the due of your card will be ZERO and that same amount will be adjustable in two puchases but after this called to HSBC customer care people saying still amount due.

Dear Sir,

It has been alomost 5 years that i closed down my credit card- acct no- [protected] pos the final settlement amount of 26000/- sometime in 2004.

Same year I got transferred and now I no more live in Indore.
I have received a call from citibank customer care/credit card function last week and as per them my outstanding is around 1.5 lacs. ( I am surprised and shocked). I told them that I made the last final settlement amount of 26000/- but still they are now continuing with threatning calls.
Why would I make the payment of 26000/- ( one time) had it not been the final settlement?

After 5 years of long gap citibank people are calling me to make 1.5 lacs payment and leaving me with no clue as to why am I asked to make the payment after the closure?

i wrote a mail to customer care citibank but they have not responded.

I request you to pl look into this matter and help me resolve the concern raised. I am sure that the complaint would be dealt fairly and speedily.

I am a customer of HSBC holding “savings account” and “credit card account”.

In October 2007 I changed my correspondence address to Kolkata by logging into my account through internet banking.

I also received my new power advantage debit card in the month March 2008 in Kolkata address.

All communication and banking was done in Kolkata.

The credit card [protected] was sent to Hyderabad address 15 days before my existing card would get expired and was handed over to unidentified person. After the person received it the person used the CC to the tune of Rs.9250.73

When I logged in to check my account I was surprised to see the debit of Rs. 9250.73 from CC.

Before I moved to Kolkata in October 2007 I sold my Flat in Hyderabad and I had cleared the full amount of CC by logging into my account through net banking, the transaction was done from my saving account to credit CC.

I had no CC. dues. FYI prior to that I had the auto debit instruction to my saving account to debit min. due amount towards CC,

I hold the CC account close to three and half years.

My question to the investigating dep.

Why will a customer dupe a CC after three and half years after having cleared the CC dues and standing instruction for three years to the bank on clearing the min due payment towards the CC

When I get my debit card in Kolkata why was the CC sent to Hyderabad?

Why was it delivered to unidentified person?

Why did not the courier person check the photo ID proof just to confirm that the CC was getting delivered to the right person

If the customer has to dupe the CC why after clearing the CC dues fully and why spending half the amount and calling HSBC to block the card.

I never received the card so I never lost anything how will I Lodge a complaint at the local police station.

After I changed my correspondence address through net banking and calling customer service why was the card delivered to Hyderabad.

I sent the dispute forms thrice to HSBC just to hear “Customer is liable to pay”.

After my savings account got freeze due to CC dues and a yearlong case on the CC I lost this battle being a genuine customer of the bank and justifying myself. I would say “not only The Bank made the customer Liable to pay the amount for which he is not liable but also made him guilty in duping the CC.

As my savings account is freeze due to CC dues I am bound to settle this CC account.

There are bills to clear every month through HSBC which is effecting due to freeze of my savings account

I have been calling Indore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata no HSBC department or person has accountability to settle my CC account.

This is how it goes

Called up and mailed customer service they give me the number[protected] to contact the local office.

Called up[protected] they give me Person name Rupendra call Indore [protected], [protected]

Could not find the person over the phone numbers Indore [protected], [protected] “A Lady gives me Mumbai Phone number[protected]”

Called up[protected] says this is “open card dept.” gives me Kolkata collection agent number [protected], [protected] contact person Tapas singha and shibli khan

I Dialed [protected], [protected] contact person Tapas singha and shibli khan more than 50 times morning, afternoon, evening and also tried at 2am hoping I would get hold of someone over the phone. Nobody picks up !

Delhi--- A person calls me asks me to pay the CC dues I told him the complete Details I had gone through with HSBC. Agrees to settle the account at Rs.3000, I redial the number and had got lot of excuses that they would call me when few official work is done on my account. Never got a call from them the numbers are[protected],[protected]





Now I get a call from Hyderabad[protected] ready to settle the account at Rs. 4000 I agreed, my priority is to activate my saving account. Did not get a call from them yet after discusssing about the settlement.

What I see today is Rs. 5970 which was left in my savings account has been debited towards CC.

My question to nodal officer

Will I get justice even If I make myself guilty as I agreed to settle my CC account

When I agreed to pay the Settlement amount why was Rs. 5970 debited from my account.

The PNR OLHMLY was cancelled but the amount has been charged on My HSBC account please refund the amount to HSBC Card No [protected] . Four tickets were booked from Nasik to Mumbai and Mumbai to Delhi as there was a problem on payment portal the tickets were not confirmed, hence I had to book with ICICI card . HSBC customer care informed that the payment cant be made as it exeeded my credit limit However from the statement of HSBC the same tickets have been paid for. Pax name are as

HSBC — Closure of bank account

Dear Sir/Madam,

I closed my savings account #[protected] with HSBC Ultadanga y submitting their branch at Ultadanga, Kolkata and surrendered my debit card which was the only thing that I was carrying from the bank. The officer told me that the money will be sent to my correspondence address by mail.

When the money did not come after 1 month, I contacted them and they said that the credit cards linked with the bank account need to be delinked. After I did that they are now teling me that I need t visit their branch and close the account again.

Please advise.
These do the some to all its customers. I was also promised by the agent that the card issued will be life time free. However after 1 yr they charged annual fee of Rs 2000. I had to call them up and reverse the charges. Again this year, they charged Rs 2000, but reversed it at the same time, but added another Rs 1000 and taxes in the bill. I had to again call them up and reverse it this time, that too after 2 or 3 long calls, where they force us to listen their advertisement at our expense. Their customer care calls are not free!!! HSBC is fraud!!!

Since last 20 months I have not received any credit card statement from HSBC Bank. Though I was making payment on the basis of sms and phone calls made by HSBC. Now I will not make any payment unless I receive and found satisfactory all the statements. I am receiving bothering and harassing calls at odd hours from HSBC executives.
I have been a HSBC credit card customer for the past 5 years, I recently received my credit card statement of 11th May to 9th June and I have been charged a additional card member fee of 350 and then a discount of 204 has been also included, but I DO NOT POSSES A ADDITIONAL CARD and they have charged me membership fee now for the card which was given to me saying that it is life time free card...I think is very unfair because all my other credit cards are free membership. HSBC should understand that all these kind of activities are going to give the bank a bad name, I have already called the phone banking person and have told them to cancel my card, but they say i am supposed to pay the full amount first and then go for a cancellation...Anyway, I am going to do just that, because I feel it is better to settle these than having to do business with these frauds...
I am senior citizen and have suffered two heart attacks in the recent pass. I am reguarly forced by phone to pay Rs. 34, 000 HSBC credit card against my payment of Rs. 2274. i have written to [protected]@hsbc.co.in in this regard, but they have mailed as below.

We refer to your E-mail dated 26 June 2009 regarding your HSBC Credit

The card account has been closed by the bank with effect from 15 October
2007 and the card outstanding as on date is INR 34059.88 .

We request you to make the payment towards your entire outstanding to
avoid any incremental charges being levied to your card account.

Our records reflect that the insurance policy was debited to your credit
card, based on your approval which was received by TATA AIG over the
telephone.

HSBC credit card is only a Pay channel to TATA AIG Insurance. Hence we
request you to contact the TATA AIG for further clarifications in this
regard.

HSBC — offered free card, and started charging anual fee from the next year onwards

HSBC offered free credit card, at the end of first year (couple of years ago), they have charged annual fee, after calling and reporting the same, they have reverted back that fee and told that they will not do this again.
Again after a year, they charged (a year back) annual fee, since I was not using this card due to first year annual fee charges, I was looking at the statement, and directly dumping into the dust bin. Second time also they charged the annual fee and when I saw it after 3 months they had added the interest and late fee and etc.. and increased that amount and it got doubled. When I called up the customer care via phone, this don't know what happened they have reverted back only the annual and was expecting me to pay the interest and late fee that they have charged. When I said I have n't used why should I pay??? they didn't listen and kept on adding that and after a year now they have made that amount more then Rs. 10, 000/- and their recovery agents started calling now. When I called up customer care (phone line) they have told that the card is closed and they can't help it. And they referred to talk to Collection department, looks like this collection department is different then that of recovery agency, and then I called up collection department, looks like they also don't have the details. All they can say again call customer care. They don't have any email address using which one can communicate and get these issues sorted.
Since HSBC itself don't have a clear picture, when I called up customer care, or collection department or when the recovery agent called, they all had one info which says that they are adding every month late fee and interest charges to the previous balance.

HSBC — Hareshment by bank for non of my mistake

After series of plea to the HSBC Customer care team and the HSBC dispute department to sort out a credit card dispute is in vain. The HSBC credit card that I was holding for last couple of years having Card number: 4384 XXXX XXXX XXXX. (Expired on 07/2008 )
HSBC bank by endless call first forced me to go for a personnel loan, then levy EMI without receipt and credit of the value in my account in Nov 2007, later I refused to take the money they promised to waive off the EMI for that month and charge from next month, nothing happen, I continued to pay every month after getting assurance again and again. Bank erroneously levying the financial charges every month, I realize very late and stopped to pay, I was getting lot of calls and every time I was explain the facts to the caller, Almost I have explained more than 100 executives in this period, no any concrete action have been taken by the bank,
During this period I have received some threatening call too, such regular call was intentially done to harass and compel to pay, although none of my mistake.
Last month I have settled by paying the full and final negotiated value, now again I received their bill
I really don’t know how to get rid of this cruel, mismanaged and fraudulent Bank.

As per my June month statement my payment amount is 7, 783.69, i have made the payment on 02 May by using HDFC Netbankin

but after two weeks the money is returned back stating wrong account ( the account is registerd as per the details given by HSBC )

then i gave a cheque for the same amount... but from the day the cheque is cleared i am getting continuous missed call from HSBC.

now as per the latest statement the outstanding is around 1700/- .

tell me why i need to make the payment if the billed amount is only fine ( late payment charges )

If i contact the Customer care they say you need to talk to my senior office they will put the call on hold saying that they are transfering but not even a once any one of the senior person as picked up

i have followed up for many days but nothing worked,

now i am getting calls from collection agent shouting at me in bad words ( who the hell is he to shout at me if i am not liable to pay any money, i am having a respect in my societ, is this the respect the bank gived to me, but i am really disappointed to hold HSBC Card..), if i want to put it right i have paid a penny higher than the money i have to pay ( i have paid 7, 783.7 for 7, 783.69 )

If their is anybody responsible take care of the mail..

i have attached all the four month statements, my net banking payment receipt.

HSBC — excessive charges

my account and sort code, 402310/71482254. i have had a buisness account at the harlow branch for ten years. in 2004 my business went bust and i owed hsbc £60, 0000 on a overdraftv account. i have paid them back every penny with interest. when i finished paying them back there was a small direct debit that i had was left on the account, i had a small amount of funds left on the account, approx £160. because i did not realise that the direct debit was still being paid i gradually became overdrawn. the amount overdrawn was £45, to date hsbc want £1681.82 in interest and charges, i have refused to pay this as i think in grossly excessive. i have phoned and written to hsbc on many occasions but they insist that i pay this amount. ther is no way i will ever pay this. kevin green
