Dear Sir/Maam,
As per my conversation with you I need to bring to your attention my experience as an ICICI Bank customer.

My name is Ms.Sonia Mazumdar residing at B-3/139, 2nd Floor, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi-1100063 had availed of an ICICI Bank Personal loan just 1 year ago. My loan number is LPDEL[protected]. I have been paying for the past one year and now in the month of Feb'09 I decided to close the loan and interested to make necessary payments as I am out of Job in this current economic slowdown. I have written letters to state the same.

I somehow missed one instalment. That's when my trauma started. My aged parents were subjected to unending calls asking for the money.

Please note that right through this process that started in the last of Jan'09, my parents were subjected to an endless barrage of calls asking them to deposit the money 'immediately'. Even after informing the caller of the situation, the calls did not end and at times were threatening in nature.

These recovery henchmen calls anytime on phone, mobile, irrespective you are sleeping in early morning or late night. They came in group anytime, gave several personal visits insulting her in my home, society and also followed her. The lady (My Mother) in her forties was trembling and today is suffering from, permanent incurable phobia due to ICICI Bank recovery agents. My mother had ruined her mental and physical health both because of horror of ICICI Bank recovery agents. Today she is suffering from much health related tensions including insomnia because of ICICI Bank torture for the agony caused to her.

This is a serious concern, I and my aged mother has been harassed by these people of ICICI bank (Profin Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd -Patel Nagar-New Delhi - A collection Agency of ICICI Bank). The Name of the executive is Mr.Vijender Singh (Vicky). His fraudulent mobile number is [protected]/08. Infact he refused to show his identity proof and any contact information related to him. One of the numbers that he gave is an incorrect number-[protected].He also refused to give his supervisor's number.
Some illegal acts done by Mr.Vijender Singh.

1.Shouted at my mother and gave her mental torture.
2.Used foul and raw languages
3.Gave threats and was very abusive.
4.Taunted and tried to humiliate.
5.Done some indecent act –snatched my mother's mobile to talk to me.
6.He was adamant and said that he will come in the night time to disturb till the time we do not pay him.
7.He was very rude and harsh and kept on shouting- even though she (my mother) said him that she is a heart patient.
My mother gave him a date to come and collect the payment but he was shouting and saying that he would sit at my place all day till the time we don't pay him.
And to mention a few words that he used, have a glance at the following utterances of that person

1. "Jab tumhari paise wapas karne ki aukaat nahi hai to fir loan kyun lete ho"
2. "Ya to payment kar de, warna bahut tarike hain bank ke paas paise lene ke"
3. "Ek o tu payment nahi kar raha hai, aur upar se pooch rahi hai ki identity card dikha".

These are not the only statements that the bank executive used, but were also accompanied by an offensive and abusive behaviour and language, which is legally and ethically against the Human Rights and Indian Penal Code.

I am filing a case in this Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum Delhi and had appealed this court to make ICICI Bank and their recovery officer (collection agency- Profin Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd Patel Nagar-New Delhi - Mr.Vijender Singh (Vicky-The recovery agent) mentioned above and agents involved compensating her for peace and happiness. I am also filing a case in Banking Ombudsman site www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org

I am attaching a said rules released from RBI so that consumers can get awareness where to go if they are facing same traumatic tensions or experiences due to financial institutes. An appeal is also be made to President of India and PIL should also be filed in Supreme Court about the Financial Institutes or Banks like ICICI (collection agency- Profin Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd Patel Nagar-New Delhi - Mr.Vijender Singh (Vicky-The recovery agent) who misuses power of Section 138, 420, 406 on innocent clients. As because loans are taken by peoples to improve self quality of life and not to spoil own career. Circumstances at all time do never remain the same.

However during the course of loans, paying EMI - Business, health, and services can cease or pause, Natural disasters, casualties, diseases, accident, incidents, profit and losses are beyond human controls and bank should understand it. Wise bankers should not consider every client as cheat or slave. During such situation if the client fells, Bank should cooperate and not traumatize and humiliate their customers. During such destiny laid stages, if the bank could not support the hospitalized client (loan taker) on ventilators at least it should also not try to pull the tubes of oxygen.

In all fairness, ICICI Bank should have at least checked our credit worthiness before going on this harassment and hounding 'rampage' till we had no option but to carry out our own investigation and point out the problem your Bank.

I want a written statement stating the action taken against Mr.Vijender Singh (Vicky-The recovery agent) and strong action against all the people involved ICICI bank (Profin Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd Patel Nagar-New Delhi - A collection Agency of ICICI Bank). The Name of the executive is Mr.Vijender Singh (Vicky). His so called mobile number is [protected]/08 otherwise I will go to the court of law/consumer forum, circulate the message to the news groups, and caution all my friends about the incident.

We hope that you take note of this experience and prevent the same from occurring again.

HDFC Bank Ltd. — Mental Harasment By bank collection agents. They abuse

Sir/Madam,

This is samarjeet Singh my father is having a credit card with HDFC Bank ltd. We Made a purchase of Rs.25000 from my card for which i have recieved the statement with the amount converted in the EMI option. Although i have not requested for the same i should not be enforced to take such a loan. I could pay the amount which i spent at once.

To implement the same i called the customer care & had words with one of the executive & i was been informed that i can pay the amount which i have spent (Rs.25000+1230 Ltr spent) at once.
My payment due date was 25th of every month. So, i have to deposit check by 22nd of each month. So, again i made a call to the cust. care to reconfirm the amount to be paid. Over their executive told that i have to pay pre closure amt aswell as their is no request registered earlier for the waver. When i objected they made me talk with an Asst. Mgr Nitin Punia. Who said don't worry do not pay any thing untill we settle your case once it will be setteled Whole fine would be waved off. But unfortunately Nothing happened in the way told to me. Rather i started getting threatning & abbusive calls by the bank's collection department in Rajauri Garden (Ansal Plaza). The bank has spoiled my record with no valid reason. Plz help me to Get justice. Guide me the right way.

ICICI Bank credit card service — Extreme humiliation of ICICI bank credit card.

The ICICI Bank does not credited in my account([protected]) amoutn of Rs. 3556.00, refunded by irctc reference no:[protected] & [protected] dated 13-may-2009).

1. ICICI Bank never easily intimate or display in the statement with requisite pay refunded or payed by other firms.
2. The ICICI Creditcard Customer become 'ball' between the two stamps. The balling and bating are done by the representative of marchant and customer care of ICICI bank respectively.
3. Is there any legal solution or espousal for it.
4. Why customer is serving indirectly to bank instead of getting service from the ICICI bank?
5. why are the clear deatils of transaction never shown in the credit card statement. Is not that too easy to display the full deatils?
6. Why does always persist of hiding conspiracy or letigation ogf ICICIbank to exploit the innocent custmers?

As per my conversation with you I need to bring to your attention my experience as an ICICI Bank customer.

My name is Hukam Singh, Jaipur, representative from ICICI Bank Limited Jaipur called me for Personal Loan and I filled up an application for Rs. 50, 000/- as Personal Loan from ICICI Bank before 2 year, Bank representative collect all documents required for Personal Loan, and told me that a Bankers cheque / DD of Rs. 50, 000/- as personal loan will be given to you with in 7 days.

After 15 days representatives of Bank told me on telephone that you came to branch and collect your cheque, you also bring 8 blank check because bank keep 8 cheques as a security and will returned you after completion of your loan.

I reach at Raja Park Branch and give him 8 blank cheque, after two three hours the bank representative said Credit manager went to main branch by a urgent work so you collect your cheque tomorrow. Next day he told me that your cheque of loan will given in next week because approval is pending.

After one week bank representative Mr. Pankaj told me that your approval has cancelled and I will return your documents and cheques after two three days because I am out of station.

But bank representative Mr. Pankaj have not returned my documents and cheque, after 1 year, in the month of August 2008, he called me sir, my friend is credit manager and your apply this time for loan, This time definitely we will give you loan, you give copy of your driving license and pan card and one photo.

On 10th August he came my office and said sir I will collect documents tomorrow from residence, you sign on this application form, I have signed on application form for PL of Rs. 50, 000/- and given him copy of driving license, pan card and one photo and next day has not came at my residence and within 7 days without any information Bank credited my SB account by Rs. 4, 88, 764/-. I was very surprised and told to bank representative Mr. Pankaj that bank direct credit my SB account by Rs. 4, 88, 764 in place of 50, 000/- by mistake.

I asked him for this heavy amount, the bank representative told me that bank released this fund in your account on behalf of your credit and good relations, but I don’t know, without any sanction letter, terms and conditions, without any income proof, bank credited my account by a heavy amount. I told to representative of Bank that I want to return this amount to Bank because I am not capable to pay interest of this heavy amount.

Next day I went to Bank and meet to loan manager and explained this problem, and loan manager have also told that we can’t help you because loan sanctioned and disbursed from Mumbai, so you contact after six months (means in the month of February 2009)

I meet to the branch manager, ICICI Bank, Mansarovar, Jaipur, he also told me that our Personal Loan Officer told you about this, loan office also repeat same language, bank have released the amount in your account, now before six months can not settled, you have to pay atleast six installment of Rs. 16030/- per month, after that we can close your account.

In the month of February 2009 I went in the branch and I said for close my loan account but manager said you have to pay 4, 72, 000/- + 5% closing fee ( that means around 5 lacs) Bank already withdrawal 96, 180/- from my saving bank account with in six months.

I have write many letters from August 2008 to March 2009 to Bank Officers (chairman, PL Manager, Branch Manager, CEO, Collection Manager, Credit Manager at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur etc.) to close my personal loan, I also went in lok adalat in Jaipur in the month of February 2009 to close this PL account but have not received any response.

I explained to the Manager of ICICI Bank that I am working in an NGO, my salary is 6500 per month, residing in a rental house, how will I pay 16030 per month, please cancel my loan immediately, but bank had not listen my request.

Till dated I have not received any sanctioned letter, any terms and conditions, I don’t know what is the procedure for return the loan.

I planned that why not this amount invest in business and earn more money so that we can pay this amount with interest to bank and I have invest 4 lacs in market and lost this money. This time I am in depression of losses.

Bank representatives alternate day came at my office and residence for recover the money, many time I requested to bank that my income is 6, 500 per month I will pay this money from my income but they are doing bad behave with me and my family.

Executive of ICICI Bank doing behave with me:

1.Use ugly language with my wife and gave her mental torture.
2.Used foul and raw languages
3.Gave threats and was very abusive.
4.Taunted and tried to humiliate.
5.He was adamant and said that he will come in the night time to disturb till the time we do not pay him.

Harrasment by recovery agent
My name is abhirup bhowmick and i have taken a personal loan from our bank that's HSBC,
having the phone number [protected]

Due to some personal financial reason we are not in a position to
the outstanding amount as of now due to which one of HSBC recovery agent by the name of minak chokobriti is
harassing me by saying that "if you don't make the payment we will take it by jabardasti immediately" and using
all types of foul and offensive language

I very much agree with you Sonia.These collection executives are unscrupulous rogues and need to be dealt with seriously as they do cause mental torture and agony to you and your family members both.

I faced some problems with HDFC bank.. for a very small amount of credit card.
I have some queries to be solved regarding my dredit card statement but not on customer care line its useless. I want you to send your concerned person to my office address.

They have congratulated that I got bumper offer for Diwalu for regular repayment and an award of 3 Lakhs is waiting and requested for credit card details. I dont know why ABN leaks confidential information to junk people. This guy by name Bharadwaj has called N number of times.

Please dont give any credit card details or netbanking passwords to anyone.
I too have got a call from this number[protected], 40784947, [protected]), they seem to a set of crooks working with objective of extracting personal information from people.
Please beware of callers from this number. When I tried to ask about the caller he wouldn’t let out much information about himself and hung up.
I have repeatedly been trying to reach them in turn, but this number seems “Busy” or “ Not reachable”.
Watch out folks, don’t fall prey to these goons.
I got this message from 2 others about these folks on the web, thought will contribute to the awareness.

ICICI Bank — debited my mother's saving a/c for my credit card

This is the communication I made with ICICI bank and still struggling since last two months and after even taking the full payment they still deducting ecs charges from my mothers saving account. I was not even getting even my saving account statement, after requesting thousand time I finally got part statement which really shocked me.(without getting the statement. I am ready to pay the principal amount. I called up customer care as well so many times but no solution was given. Lastly i spoke to some mr.Vinay which confirmed me that your card status shows that it under settlement.
the statement provided from the customer care officer, which clearly indicates bank is not interested to provide the statement to the customer and and as per consumer he has no right to know what he is charging for.
Secondly I duly informed to call center and customer care about statement several time, I had the conversation which I had with representative of ICICI bank in which he clearly mention he has no coordination between collection department and customer care and he is unable to provide any resolution. He wants to me to go to customer care web site, which I do and the same response was given.
I am saying that I am ready to pay the principal amount and necessary interest; I am not going to pay any late fees or any other charges.
I am really disappointed with service of ICICI bank, no consideration for consumer problem and charging unnecessarily. It’s a looting of innocent customers.
I really loosing faith and scared to deposit any money in the bank.

Still hoping any positive resolution provided.

I totally agree with you. I have been dealing with other banks as well, but the way this rajauri garden branch of HDFC behaves, is below any standards. I think the recovery agents are far far better than them, they at least help you to pay your amount..,

I think HDFC doesn't care.., it is big, has good number of customers, and small people like me and you don't matter. Complaints are just a piece of paper to them, which goes to trash.

Rajauri garden, these people are probably accustomed to this.., i think they are trained to call and abuse the neigbors, family members etc. But they forget, that at the end of the day, they are human..., and they have to come out of their offices daily, and live in the same world we live in..

but alas my friend.., forget that your complaint has any purpose to the bank. it needs its money, and needs it now..., and would do anything to get it.

So, just pay off your dues, and severe your relationship with this heartless bank and its abusive staff.

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Banking Ombudsmen — Discrepancy in money withdrawal at ATM

On 21-Sep-09, I, S.Karthikeyan, an ICICI customer, tried to withdraw Rs.20,000/- at at SHELL INDIA CHENNAI [HDFC Bank's ATM] along with another customer of ICICI whereas I received only Rs.6,000/- which was witnessed by that customer also. Immediately I regestered the complaint against the same - SR[protected].On 09-Oct-09, I received a reply saying "Please note that the acquiring bank has confirmed the transaction of Rs. 14000 made on September 21, 2009 to be successful. Hence, we will be unable to credit the disputed amount back to your account." which is a false statement.
Again I requested them to enquire the witness or check with the video clip at ATM but they neglected my request.
Then, i registered complaint against this with Banking Ombudsmen [RBI] on 23-Oct-09 [Complaint No. - [protected]]. I am really surprised as there was no acknowledgement and after waiting for 36 days also, i didnt get any response.
Once again i registered query saying 'No response for Complaint No. - [protected] and again No response yet!
Hence, i need my money back to my account with compensation and legal actions have to be taken against all authorities involved in this issue.
