[Resolved]  ICICI — My A/c is debited with Rs. 56.00 due to the fault that did not

I have a salary A/c with ICICI. on[protected] I saw my account is debited with Rs. 28.00 twice on[protected] with the Particular"ATM/POS DECLINE CHG/[protected]". I emailed to ICICI and they said this is due to insufficient fund at the other bank's ATM. Is it correct? Is is customers problem that the bank atm has no money. What shoudl I do?

ICICI Bank — deduct my money as insufficient amount

i drop SBBJ cheque in icici bank, i have sufficient amount in sbbj account. but icici bank deduct my money as insufficient amount from my icici bank account.
please help me and i am mentally disturb.

My account is also been deducted thrice with the same manner the above person had, i.e "POS DECLINE CHG". If other ATM dont have the money, then its bank problem but not the Cusomers. We are using that facility becoz banks providing that. If other banks wants to charge for this, the Bank in which we have the account should pay them. Why should we fined for the this???.

Yes for me also the amount Rs. 28 is debited...what shall we do ...shall we go to the court...

I hold salary a/c in ICICI bank, my is Debited with 28/- Rs stating POS DECLINE CHG/12-MAY-09/6053 .it was happend 11 june 6 time it means (28, 28, 28, 28, 28, 28).sir it is my hard work mony so please return my mony. Please tell me what is the customers fault if other bank at dosnt have sufficient fund. It is our hard earned money PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY BACK or give me a response ([protected]@gmail.com)

Same problem.they have deducted 28/-. Is it wrong with ICICI or Customer.whats wrong with ICICI i don't know.
This bank is just ridiculous. Their customer care does not know how to talk to its customers. When I called up their agents, they told that this is mandatory and VISA is actually charging this fees. They deducted Rs.28 on 18-Jun-2009 for a transaction I did on 5-May-2009 or atleast this is what told to me by the agent. I asked him if there is a RBI guideline, he told that all the terms and conditions will be there in the website and its our duty to read it everytime. Atleast I could not find out any information about this charge in their website.

This is ICICI bank, one of the worst bank trying to loot money from the customers in every possible way they can. Better go ahead and change your account to some other bank, else this bank will come up with every creative way to deduct our hard earned money to keep them afloat in this recession. They will never inform us anything, but will continue to levy some fancy charges and debit our account and after some point of time, we will ending up losing all our hard earned money to this modern day dacoits.

The same problem with my a/c as well. Deducted the same money saying tht is POS Decline Chg.Rs.28. I really dont have the track how many times they have deducted something or other from the account balance..

Today ICICI Bank charged me 28/- as an 'ATM DECLINE CHG' after I made a cash withdrawal from IndusInd Bank. There was no warning/intimation during the withdrawal. Hope ICICI Bank is brought to book for cheating its unsuspecting customers.

I have a salary A/c inICICI Bank. I could able to see in my account is debited with Rs. 28.00 on 10/07/2009 with the description of “ATM DECLINE CHG/09-JUN-09/7854 ". I come to know that is due to insufficient fund at the other bank's ATM. Is it so? If other ATM bank has no money, how will you deduct from my a/c. I did get any intimation for that time of withdrawal also. If no money means, why it was not shown any information and why it was allow me to take the amount.

There is one thing added there which says Debit card transactions which are done without having money in the "Card holder's account" is Rs. 25/- per transaction.

I found this 4 times in my account, and called up ICICI. They checked it. The person who had attended the call was not very happy about the call, but I kept pushing them and pushing them, and finally got it sorted. (For the records, I didn't get my money back because it was my own mistake - I had swiped my credit card checking for funds, and because it's linked to my bank account, the money was taken).

My case would be a one-off case. What I would suggest is, in case you suspect multiple transactions which you have/have not made, insist for full details. Sometimes they give all kinds of "golis" that the system is not working, etc. But in such cases, ASK FOR A COMPLAINT NUMBER (service request) to be registered to get the full details, and keep a track of that the next time you call them. Banks are supposed to have a record of all customer related transacitons at their hands - because it's our money we trust them with.
Oh yes, and one more thing - it's not 28/-, it's 25/- as written in that page. I'm getting a complaint registered with them, and you should do it too.
I have a salery ac with ICICI bank and 10/8/09 i used hdfc atm to withdrow cash.i did not get cash and latter when i chacked with ICICI atm, it shown that re which i had typed in hdfc atm is dedeted from my a/c.
You can file complaint with consumer court or Ombudsman This is not as per RBT regulations.

My account was also debited twice on same day 16-SEP stating POS DECLIN CHGS.
This happened to me also.Really, this is very bad, How can they deduct like tht. there is no assurance for icici acc holders. tomorrow they can deduct how much ever they want also. They should be giving some open statement or email or letter for this. as we all knew icici is not a good bank they obviously do not do that.
