ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Iprotect — Worst Customer Care Service | |||
My name is Yogesh Agarwal and I tried to apply for ICICI Pru iProtect policy couple of weeks back. Due to some reasons I was not able to complete the policy details at one go so i decided to resume it later. I have also received a mail with a link from ICICI Pru from where I can resume the policy. After a few days I resumed the policy using link provided by ICICI Pru and filled all the details, however when I reached to payment page it showed me a message that we are unable to process your request and will get in touch with you shortly, but there was no response even after waiting for 2-3 days. The generated policy id was OL00030564. After waiting for couple of days I wrote an email to their customer care and got an acknowledgement that they will be getting back to me in 6 working days. Even after waiting for 2 weeks I haven't got any response from them. In this case my call id was 26997637. After this I gave a call to their customer care but they had no clue about what I am talking about and they have no record about my policy available. The executive assured me that they will get back to me in 24 hrs, now its more than that and again no response. I can imaging that while selling a new policy they have such a pathetic service..what would they do to the people who go for claim settlement? Overall I can say it has been my worst experience till date with an insurance or any other service sector company. I would not advise anyone to go with icici pru, they just don't respect their customers. Good part is that I haven't paid anything to them, so atleast I am safe from any financial loss :-). Just wanted to share my experience so that others can not become the victim of ICICI pru poor services. Was this information helpful? | |||

I too have bad experinces with the worst and useless ICICI pridential Life insurance. They are really use less. The socalled representativves of this useless firm are playing games with me. They ask for appointment for collection of documents and they never visited. I strongly recomend not purchase any product from them.

This is Abhishek, I applied for i-protect online on 3rd Jan'11, done the payment.
After 2 weeks no response from icici prudential.
Finally called the call center agent, they said there is no Application number which I have.
So have written email to them.Hope I get some response otherwise God knows when I will get my refund back.

yes i had also applied for iprotect and now asked for refund which icici prudential claims that they have processed refund on 17/2/2011, but till this date(2 Mar 2011) i have not received any credit for refund in my account. God knows when I will get refund.
Icici prudential is using our money for unlimited time.

Luck is on your side so you have not paid the money.I strongly recommend you not to buy this policy from ICICI.Since i have paid it online 2 month before to get this policy online.But i have not received the policy and i have mailed them, more than 30 times regarding this.
Then i have finally closed the policy and asked them for my refund.
