I have annuity Policy No: 11486154 from the icici Prulife company after subscribed to FOREVER policy for a fixed Period. It was nice to see this company service till the policy expired for annuity. I used to get prompt reply to querry, reminders for payment, receipts etc. But when the annuity policy was issued for the first due date 22 Feb 09 payment to be done in march'09, the real devil in this company could be noticed. I had given ECS mandate to ICICI Bank for auto credit on every 22nd of the month. But the very first credit did not reach me in time. Several calls and mails evoked late response. Thereafter the regular payments were also erratic. The personnel there informed that it takes 3 to 5 days for ECS credit which is slower than normal receipt of Cheque by courier and encashing. This shows that the personnel employed do not have any knowledge the fundamental reason for ECS credit option is quick credit. Several mails were exchanged on this and the time given was 5-7 days. I took up the matter with IRDA and could get the problem resolved to some extent until In Feb-March No payment was given and i came to know that I have to fill in an existence form about which they do not even communicate like LIC where existence certificate reaches you well before. When I querried why they did not send the existence certificate, they informed that same had been sent by Courier but will take normally 10 Days to raech me. From this one can understand how efficient the personnel there for even sending by courier. If it takes 10 days, why there should be courier. ordinary Post will reach u in 2 days in Mumbai. (maximum). Finally i submitted the Existence certificate in April'10 and started getting annuity subsequently on 22-25 th of month erratically. Suddenly in December '10, no annuity was received and when I called the customer care, they informed I have to submit existence certificate. I went to chembur branch and filled in the form. At time of submission i was informed that i need to submit this only in Feb'10 having earlier submitted on April'10. They also informed that I will receive an intimation from the company for same. But i insisted on submitting the same without taking a chance. From above one can note that this is a foolish insurance company without knowing how to manage things. most of the time when u talk to customer care is spent on security checks which has no sense for Insurance industry. They just pass time and sometime will talk only to insured. When one is old drawing pension and essential for a living they harass the pensioner with all above security steps. Further where they are obliged to pay pension throughout life without refund of Principal, they prefer that the pensioner dies in the process of following up them for payments. My annuity is lifetime and this is waht I experience with this Insurance company. Moral: Never deal with this company. I surrenderd most of the policy i had in my family and left only with above policy.

    They are not accepting full surrender and utilizing my money for their profit. Today it is the third time that they have refused to accept the full surrender asking for age proof (each time they asked for different document). After getting rejected for two times with different documents demanded by them I raised a complaint 28953634 on 9th December 2010 and from there the customer care told me that they have taken a note against the branch and I can simply send my father with the authorization letter, ID Proof and Welcome Kit. Along with the documents I send my father with a cancelled cheque. But they have again refused to take the surrender without age proof and refused to give any written document that they need the age proof. 3 times they are asking for 3 different documents. And today while I told about the incident the customer care team gave me the complaint no 29608531 only. As ICICI Prudential is here to cheat the money of the customer only, can anyone suggest me how do I approach IRDA or consumer court or court of law to get my money back.

    Hello All,

    I took the pension plan from ICICI Prudential, I am supposed to pay 10, 000 every year for 20 years or at least 5 years I must pay to close the policy at the end of 5th year or I can close the policy after 20 years leaving the amount that is all the rep of the bank explained about this policy, he did not mention that if I fail to pay my 5 years premium my policy would be foreclosed by bank itself without my knowledge.

    I paid my first premium after which I was not able to pay for personal reasons. All of sudden after 5 years, the ICICI Bank had foreclosed the policy themselves and send me a cheque of 5500 instead of 22000 - by the time the 10, 000 had grown!

    My real worry and disappointment with the ICICI bank is that, they are able to send a foreclosure with the cheque, why cannot they send a warning letter stating that my policy would be closed for nonpayment of premium - which I am not aware.

    I called the call center gury, they cannot explain, I send a mail to grievance department there has been no response

    Can any ICICI Prudential officer help me out, I am ready to pay the premium pending to revive the policy at a single shot.

    Please note I am not here to spoil the name of the bank whatsoever, I have explained my experience with the bank.

    If the bank is able to help me out that would be much appreciated.

    I am sending this copy to grievance department as well, let me get back with the mails of the officials too.

    It can't be stated that there is resolution to my concerns to my satisfaction. I have contacted grievance and gro through mail. But noone responded. Even they did not bother to respond to my query.
    ICICI Prudential is a cheating company - everybody knows - IRDA also has some part of it. They dont do anything with ICICI Prudential - They have links. So your money is gone - That is it - [protected]@iciciprulife.com they reply standard replies and they never resolve anything - Write to top management in ICICI prudential - You may get some money back -

      Hi,

      This is really a question of trust and commitment which ICICI had made. I had taken a policy "ICICI Life Time Gold - (Policy Number[protected] three years back which I surrended on 4th Dec. 2010.

      At the time of surrender I was advised that a I will receive a confirmation call and fund amount will be transferred to your account within 14 working days.I receieved confirmation call on 6th or 7th Dec. in which I was asked about the reason to surrender which I repiled as I need amount for some reason like purchasing of house.

      Waiting period of 14 days got over and even then fund amount was not credited to my account so I followed up with ICICI(Customer care - [protected]) on 25th Dec. and I was informed that since you don't want to surrender your fund amount has not been transferred and again 10 working days I have to wait.

      This incident is nothing but playing person's emotion and playing with various instrument like confirmation call so that they can frustrate the customer, mentally harasment.

      So I would like to know what actions can be taken for such incidents.

        HI,

        Its me Kanta Gupta.I have a Health Insurance policy from ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited,
        Problem is that in April(2010) My Both Knee replacement surgery is done.and I submitted all the document related to this case on 12th may after that ICICI gave these document to verify to the third party, they verify these document two times and submit report to ICICI on 27th of Sepetember.After that whenever I contact to the ICICI customer Care executive by a mail of by phone they toll me that our officer will contact you with in next 4 to 5 working days but till now no one contact with me.


        In ICICI there is a process that from the date of document submittion(12th May) the case should be cleared in 180 days.Now 180 days completed on (12th November).



        Now I am requesting you to please help me because I take this money on Intrest of 10% monthly.
        Now i am not able to pay this amount.

        In Hope You help me As soon as possile.waiting for your kind help.

          I took a term insurance plan with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.

          After the payment, there was no communication from their side for a month.

          It was in proposal stage when I cancelled the policy.

          Firstly I was told that, the cancellation process will be done in 7 days, but you took 15 days to process the request.

          Now I was told that on 4th december the payment instruction is made, the 7 working days after that date is over, but I haven't received the credited amount in my account yet.

          Overall, its more than a month but I haven't received the refund yet.

          This is the care for customers which ICICI focus on.

              I have a Lifetime Gold policy (policy no not disclosed here for security purpose). I had a talk with the Customer Service and they told that if I switch before 3 pm then the fund calculation will be done on the same day which did not happen for my case. Then when I checked all the details in the unit statement I found there are lots of hidden charges which were not disclosed to me at the time of buying policy and when I ask on that they told why did not I check all the policy documents. I contacted this cheat but did not get any respons to my queries, only they send a template to express their inability rather intention of non co-operation. Even I contacted the Grievance Redressal officer through mail and same response and if tried to contact him over phone, he is not available in the office. When I asked about the surrender they are just delaying so that they can use my money for 1 more month and put those hidden charges more on my policy. When I said it is tough for me to go physically then they asked about sending a person with authorization letter. When I sent my father for the same the branch told that they are unable to take the request though my father was having authorization letter signed by me. So I would suggest all the people who will go through this complaint not to take any policy from ICICI Prudential else you will be going through the same pain. Only thing I came to know while having my policy here is that ICICI Prudential is nothing but CHEAT.

                i have five policy of icici Pru life insurance co in july 2009 i given 20000+20000 rs cheques for Renell polices to asisies pan day and pratap sing h a officers of icici udaipur rajasthan office
                they want new policy from me i given 20000 rs cash to them on 23rd july 2009 but no receptes given to me and when i received my policy on 8th Aug 2009 it is only 10000 rs half yearly
                i complainant about this cheating by icici Pru life insu, co officers to co. several time in writing and also several call but they do not return my 10000 rs and not given me good reply alway es he take favor of his officers
                i send relevant information to them but matter is stell UN solved

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  Our smartkid unit link policy no.05306035 fund value was INR6496.19 and other smartkid unit link policy no.05314063 fund value was INR8258.75 has been foreclosed by ICICIPRU Life Insurance Company without any intimation regarding forclosure.

                  There is some fund problem thats why premium was not paid 2 years but I has arranged full amount and made call to customer care to revive the policy before foreclosure but they had told us that we can revive before may 2011.

                  I was not aware that company can give wrong information of foreclose the policy without any intimation.There is no my fault.Now we are requesting company to revive the policy but the are not giving proper reply.


                  They had send us cheque of 25% of fund value and foreclosed the policy.

                  I need your help to revive our policy .If its not happen then It will be very huge loss to us.

                    Myself Rajesh B have an ULIP plan with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited since 2004.I have been receiving calls from different people(staff) from the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company asking me to discontinue the existing plan and go for new plans,even after expressing my disinterest on this matter i have been getting calls repeatedly on the same matter.As i understand from ULIP regulatory body guidelines,status quo has been maintained on existing plans and issual of new plan is under discussions.And more over ULIPs are long term investment instruments and are only profitable in the long term as majority of the admin & fund allocation charges are deducted in the initial premiums paid.

                    I got a call today from one called RD verma from Delhi from ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited asking me to stop the existing plan and reinvest the fund value into a new plan when i said that im not interested he told me that the Stock market are gonna go down and the fund value will be affected and when i stood by my stand he disconnected the call.

                    I hereby register a formal complaint against the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited for harassing its customers for its own benefit

                      In my last complainy , even i mentioned that i did not get my bond papers for my policy which i took from () agent name vikram ( ph- [protected]), who dint bother to give my policy ,not even to contact back after taking a policy .
                      M really feeling CHEATED by ICICI .At the same time , my perception for this policy has changed from positive to negative because a person who is earning & investing in some policy defibnately want some prrof for his policy in terms of bond paper . I had given 7500 to that agent ,vikram . I dont mind that i lost my money , but that sure will not suggest any one for this policy & even will aware others that do not take policy from any agent of ICICI PRUDENTIAL & DO NOT LISTEN TO THE AGENT like vikram . Is there any provision for cancelling his licence or any such agents who make fool of their clients & talk about the customer service .

                      Thats it not enough , even one of the person from ICICI given me a call , name ROBIN , & even he promised to give policy but he did not bother to give a call . QUESTION is WHY ????????

                      I really want you to take action against Vikram .... & my bond paper at my door step , ANY HOW .
                      If i did not get call with in 12 hours from ICICI , will definately go now to CONSUMER COURT .

                          The premium in respect of my policy was due in March 2010 and I had been getting reminders regarding the same from the company, to be more specific from one Mr. Vijay Singh Chawan, who introduced himself as the Area Manager, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Mumbai. He kept on reminding me now and then since May 2010 that the insurance premium was overdue and the policy is lapsed.
                          Having assured him that I would make the payment in the second week of October 2010, I again received a call from Mr.Chawan as expected.
                          On 19th October 2010, one Mr. Rajiv Kumar Sahu (the person sent from Bhubaneswar Branch, Orissa, as told by Mr. Chawan), collected a cheque for Rs. 15,000/- drawn on Central Bank of India, bearing number 038039, dated 19th October, 2010. In a couple of days, Mr. Chawan called me informing me that since the cheque is not a “at par” one, it would take a lot of time for clearance and that we were already running behind time as the last date for the revival of the lapsed policy was 26th October 2010.
                          On 25th October 2010, Mr. Rajiv Kumar Sahu collected the renewal premium amount of Rs. 15,000/- in cash from my residence against the deposit slip number 38601435 dated 25th October 2010 signed by him.
                          Still I am receiving the reminder SMS and awaiting the said cheque as of now i.e. 7.30 PM, 27th Nov. 2010.

                            During July 2009 when I paid my premium amount at ICICI Prudential branch through
                            credit card the amount was debited twice to my credit card account.On my request
                            they returned aditional amount through a Cheque.After that I paid my next half yearly premium also during February 2010,and obtained receipts also.After that the
                            ICICI Prudential alterd consolitated premium paid certificate etc,stating that they returned aditional amount twice for the amount deducted twice form my credit card account.They are not informing the details of amounts returned twice to me.And informing me my policy bearing No.ICICI PRU Smart Kid (UIN: 105N014V02), policy number 03108644 lapsed with effect from 12th,January,2010.though I paid the premium amount with Reinstatement Fees Rs.66/-due as on that date.For no fault of me they are penalising me with a huge amount arround Rs 17,000/- In such a condition how can we trust ICICI Prudential that they will pay the Maturity value after maturity of policies, I am having one more policy also.I decided to cancell all my policies.

                            Icici Prudential Life Insurance — Premium Amount for Policies

                            Dear Sir,
                            I had enquired the premium amount of above noted Policies in Dec.2008. At that time I was told that Premium for Policy No. 362706 ( In the name of my wife, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Oberoi) is Rs.9991/- and for Policy No.[protected] In my name, Iqbal Singh Oberoi) is Rs.10125/- and both will be due on 05.03.2009. As you are well known that the Service Tax has been reduced to 10.30% since last week. Today when I enquired the premium amount from Customer Care Centre, they have told the same amount. When I asked why it was not reduced as the Service Tax is reduced to 10.30%, they have given the following reply:-

                            1. We do not know about the change of Service Tax.
                            2. You deposit the same amount and we will credit the excess amount in your Policiy.
                            3. The Service Tax will be reduced from 01.04.2009.

                            Sir, the customer care persons do not know about the things I have enquired. Instead, they gave false information. Please look into the matter and advise them not to give such type of information. Secondly please send me by mail the exact amount of premium of both Policies.

                              In March i have applied for the Home Loan of Rupees 22.20 Lacs. the same got approved in March but the cheque amount in favour of DDA i received was of Rs 21.60 Lacs.
                              When i enquired the same with the guy who was getting my loan processed Mr. Ajay Desai Noida Sec 51 (mobile no: [protected]) Home loan Branch he conveyed me that the this is mandatory so Rs 60 K have been deducted for the same. Else Home Loan cant be processed as the ICICI Home Loan wants its loan amount to be safe in case of all the loan borrowers so it is a mandate policy & the policy would be for 20 Years 1 Time Premium Payment (Term Plan Life Insurance for Rs 22,20,000 for 20 Years)
                              I kept following for the policy no. With Mr. Rakesh Bhatia (DSA ICICI Home Loan - Som Associates) & with Mr. Ajay Desai (ICICI Home Loan Sr. person) but of no use.

                              Then i got no. Of Mr. Shabi Hasan Rizvi (Mob. No: [protected]) ICICI Pru Senior Manager sits in Videocon Tower as i was told by Mr. Ajay. I kept following the same for the policy no. of 60 K with them from May to Nov but of no use.
                              On 10th Nov i got my policy no. (till now no documents neither for Home Loan nor for Policy have been received by me) as mentioned above by Ajay finally.
                              When i called up ICICI Pru hlp. On [protected] igot to know that this policy is done in my name but it is not a term plan for 20 years against any Home Loan but this is a savings plan being done for Rs 3 Lacs only & premium is to be paid yearly in my name.

                              So after getting the info I called up Shabi Hasan / Ajay Desai / Rakesh Bhatia but all were taking it very lightly nor they reverted for the same.

                              Know my concern is if in case in between the above period of 8 months if something would have gone wrong with the home loan borrower then in that case ICICI Home Loan would have recovered its Loan amount after selling the property & what about the family.

                              So i humbly request you to kindly get the same compensated for the amount equivalent to the amount of my Policy Amount ie Rs 22.20 Lacs at least against the mental agony & mental trauma it have caused to me.

                              yes sir this people are doing mis-selling to increase there monthly points and get reward from bank. Finally only end customer have to lose there hard earned money.
                              I hope these ICICI Bank people have gone deaf & dumb against their consumers if this is the kind of the attitude of ICICI people towards their consumers then i think it won't take long for such a bank to go towards closure of their operations into thw country like India . As per me India still have got some law & order against such Financial Institutions..

                                I had registered for the receipt of Statement of Accounts by email on the investments made by me in various mutual funds of ICICI by quoting my PAN No. and Folio Nos. I was informed they would furnish details in 3 days time. It is the 5th day today and as yet I am still to receive the Statement of Accounts.

                                  It is regretable to say that despite of three times emails have been done but not a satisfactory reply has been received by me. Therefore, u are also informed that ICICI Prudential Child Care Plan-Gift Folio No.752880/05 in the name of my daughter Miss Pranjali for Rs.5000/-only, the statement is not being sent on my residential address as mentioned in the form. It is also requested u must contact [protected]@icicipruamc.com that why he did not reply my email dt15.02.2011, 07/08.02.2011, Hoping u would be must taken action to sort out my problems.

                                    Folio Number 609385/04. A redemption application for1736.208 units under the scheme " 84 ICICI Prudential MIP-Cumulative" alongwith a request to change the Bank's name and Branch was submitted to CAMS. I received the cheque number 954897 dated 09/11/2010 for Rs. 44446.58, but the Bank's name and branch was not changed. The cheque was received with old record. I therefore could not collect the cheque. The cheque has been returned to CAMS on 12.11.2010, but I have not received the revised cheque so far. Kindly check up and arrange to send the cheque with correct name of the Bank and Branch.

                                      one of icici purlife adviser cheated us in policy matter . sir do not have recivied policy bond till date and policy was it was made in 2-3 month ago in name of sunanda deshpande , and after several follow up at your office y.n road branch Indore. and after given him written request . manager mr pratik shown us online policy which was with wrong name , wrong address,
                                      wrong phone no, wrong police condition, which told by adviser, so as we are not recivied in free look period . we are not satisfied with service of icicipru we want our money back with full interest . pl suggest us what to do shall we go for IRDA AND COMPLAINT OR WE SHOULD FIRE A (FIR) AGAINST FRAUD .
                                      advisor and manager are showing any interest to resolve this issue.

                                        I have policy no:01498018 on my name Sreedharan pillai Sudhakaran pillai started on 17.3.2005.I paid amount from my Nre,and furnished my tele and adress.As iam working in U>A>E,I never got even maturity details.In my house my wife is not available and she is with daughter in bangalore.I requested for encashing with Seethalakshmi at kollam office.All my questions are in vain till today.I have an account no :[protected], because of this harrasment I am not sending more funds.Please solve this problem as early .My email id:pillai.[protected]@yahoo.com which bank is asking.
