Executive Engineer, Public Works Division, Achalpur submitted all necessary documents on 23rd inst. @ Catch Services, Rajapeth, Amravati for getting an internet connection. A net-setter has been received but has not been activated yet on 25th inst. It has been told that it is being activated in the noon today dtd. 25th. after verification of address proof centre. Ours is Govt. organization and we requested to concerd office to get activated net setter 849 plan a post paid connection with unlimitted download plan. But no responce we are getting from Amravati (M.S.) office. The person bering cell No. [protected] is not attendind our call since noon today. You are requested to consider our urgency and do the needful regarding activation of an internate connection. My cell No. is[protected] & expecting +ve action.

I am a prepaid customer of Idea Mobile situated in Cochin City. I want to bring it to the notice of the officials concerned that Idea has removed the option to contact customer care executive for the past few months. This is completely unacceptable and I believe that this is against laws.

Dear Sir

I would like to draw your attention regarding my concern; I am Mukesh Malik using Idea prepaid number ([protected]) from last 3.5 years. Few days back I have lost my Handset then I called up Idea customer care and spoken to Preeti Pundir I have told her that kindly suspend my number on temporary basis as I have lost my H/S, she confirmed me that this is postpaid department and we can’t suspend your number from here. Then I again dialed the same number ([protected]) & this time my call landed up in prepaid section, this time my call was picked by Mr. sindhu ( Not sure about the exact Name), I have again explained him the whole story but he confirmed me that my number is not updated with my name this updated with Mr. surinder’s name then he suggest me to visit near by Idea showroom with the following documents.

1. FIR copy
2. My ID proof
3. Address Proof.

After one day I have visited at “Comm N Soluitons @ 14 Shankar Vihar Main Vikas Marg Delhi-92” with all the required documents & Met Miss. Neha Arrora or Neha Kapoor ( Not Sure about the Name) but I am surprised by the way she talked to me Please Notice the following things in her behavior.

A. She don’t how to speak to the customer ( Very Very Rude tone and causal Behavior)
B. She Said “ YE Number tumhare naam par nahi hai main ye SIM replace nahi kar skati “ I said Ma’am when took this number I have submitted my documents moreover this sim has also replaced once 1yr back from your pandav nagar office ( Which is closed now). She replied me “ Appko ek baar main samaj nahi atta jaha se SIM liya tha vahi se change karaye Hum kuch nahi kar sakte” yaa Phir Mathura Road jaa kaar hamri Complain Kar Dijye”
C. When I am dialing Customer Care number from there only she & other two Executives were laughing on me.

Is this kind of Customer service Idea supposed to give its customer? This one of the worst customer service in India that I ever faced. Still my number has not been changed neither the customer care department nor so called Idea showroom executives ready to help me.

My Q. is if this number has not been updated on my name how come I have been using it from last 3.5 years, how come I have replaced this SIM earlier from Idea showroom.

Please Take Some Action Regarding Issue

Dear Concern,

I got to know that National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC Registry) is to curb Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC), so i opted for this service by SMSing TRAI.
I got an SMS from IDEA (on 17/03/09) stating that DND is already active on my cell since 24/02/09 and my unique reference number is 7070197. But still i was getting all useless commercial calls and SMS.

I again got an SMS stating that my new reference number that is DND is[protected]/03/09)
Now agin on 18th March'09 i got another SMS stating that my unique DND number is 72394152 which has been registered and would be serviced shortly.

Now i am all confused and have no idea what to do with this information as i am still receiveing all unwanted frustating calls and IDEA is charging me for unnecessary services.

As per Telecom Unsolicited Commercial Communications Regulations, 2007, the Service Provider is also liable to pay an amount by way of financial disincentive, not exceeding Rs.5000/- for first non-compliance of the regulation and in case of second or subsequent such non-compliance, an amount not exceeding Rs.20, 000/- for each such non-compliance ---- Does TRAI have any role to play here or its just for books to display such rules and service providers are free to do whatever they want to...

I am an Idea Customer with mobile no.[protected] from hyderabad. I am NOT SATISFIED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE provided. My Compliants are as Follows:-
1) I want to inform you that idea cellular has activated a DAAL MEIN KALLA WEEKLY without my Knowledge on date 19-03-09 & without informing me they have deducted some amount from my balance & when enquired on 12345 on date 19-03-09 Mr.Srinivas said that updates are not done for my number & said to call on 20-03-09 & when called the executive who recieved my call has de-activated it but without refunding the deducted amount. They are not ready to accept my complian & arguing that i have only activated it.
AND also
2) I have downloaded two ringtones one in January & the other in February but i was charged of four ringtones but when talked to idea executing the person is arguing that i have sent two messages in each month for ringtones. but i have not sent it. the person is not ready to accept my complain & was disconnecting my call.

PLEASE LOOK IN TO THE MATTER & refund me my 24 rupees which were deducted in total above given two COMPLAINTS without my knowledge.
KINDLY SEE THAT THE ABOVE COMPLAINTS GET SOME RESPOND.

Spice(now Idea) in Bangalore, automatically subscribed me to Free Music Service. And later sent me a email stating that if i do no unsubscribe in a days time i will charged a fee per month.

When i called them asking that why i should unsubscribe to a service which i never subscribed to, they claimed i had indeed subscribed to their service (which i never did). And the icing on the cake was there was NO WAY for me to unsubscribe!! The only way to unsubscribe was by calling their help line number and filing a complaint!!

On top of this, these guys abuse you when you call them.

I am using Idea SIM from last two years. My cell number is [protected] (Pankaj Ikhar).
On 19th March my cell outgoing had been blocked. I got information from one of the call guy that you have blocked my card due to negative verification.
But I have not got any call from idea. If I am asking something to call centre guy and he will be able to block my SIM then Is this a way to treat your customer.
Without asking anything to customer if you are blocking his SIM I think this is very rude behavior to the customer especially when I am using IDEA from 2 years.
I suggest to you that please do necessary action on this. Please start my outgoing. There is no point in submitting same papers again. Only thing you can achieve through this is giving headache to your customer.

Today Rs 15 are deducted from my balance amount without my consent & unilaterarily, stating that subscription to missed callinformation activation.I have naver requested to activate the same. message is sent to me by IZ-55456 THROUGH CENTRE;[protected] . Request you to credit this amount to my balance..ALSO REQUEST TO WARN YOUR DEALER ACCORDINGLY.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the violation of guidelines “if a costumer request to switch over from post paid to prepaid OR vice verse for the same Cell No, the operator can not charge any migration fees in any form” though this message is telecast no of times in a day on DOORDARSHAN under the heading JAGO GRAHAK JAGO, the idea cellular is doing so without any hesitation and with full dare.
Sir this has also happened to me when I applied to switch over from post paid to prepaid for my Cell No [protected] dt 26/02/09 & paid Rs 100 as migration charge demanded by the operator.
(I have the receipt of the same and can produce before your office as a proof if required)
On reporting about this irregularity and unethical business attitude to costumer care, nodal officer & appellant authority & trai twice through email none of them responding.
I hope your office will take serious note for such irregularities and ensure the guidelines laid down by TRAI must be followed in order to safeguard the interest of common citizen & look forward your guidance for further action please.

hello my name is harsharaj g jain . i purcased netsetter from idea that is data card for Rs.2490/- in the month of oct-2008. there is plan for first 2 months unlimited download and borrwing. after wards it's converted to 399 plan fro 1 GB download and borrowing. i got first bill in the month of nov-2008 for Rs.49/- towards service tax. so i paid that bill amount. my bill date is 23rd of every month & my credit limit is Rs 500/- on that time. after complete of first 2 months i called idea customer card on 26th of dec-2008 for convert my plan from Rs.399 plan to Rs849 plan for unlimited. customer card person said that our sever is down can u call tommorrow. Again i called on 27th dec same anwer i got. so i called on 28th of dec-2008. they taken my request and said that u r plan will effect within 24 hours. so i like keep download and browosing all that. on 14th Jan 2009 i got message that plz pay Rs 1400/- immediately.i was shocked. so i visited vashi idea customer care. told about all matters he said that was there mistake sorroy for that u r service will started within 1 hours . after 2 day my service is disconneted, . and i got bill fro Rs3116.09. i was again shocked. once again i visted my office near by idea customer care in andheri i told that my plan was Rs849/- unlimited plan. so why i got this much of bill. but there is no replay.

so please don't use idea net setter. the service and persons are not good .

i have received call on my cell regarding idea sim card and their plan i have inform that send me your charge & pulse rate monthly charge and application form they have not send me and charge list but collected copy of my pan card. after few days i have received 3 sim card which was wrongly accepted by my family member i have not open the sim card not use the same. after few days i have received bill for same. i have received call that you have to pay the bill i have inform that if i have applied send me xerox copy of application form but till date they have not send me the same. they ask me to go to idea gallary as i am doing job i am no time to go there. i am receiving the bill every month though i have not apply or activited my sim card. send your comapny man with photo i.d. and authority letter to whom i will return sim card.

I am Arjun Singh. My cell no. is [protected]. I had asked the customer care
on 4444 to de activate my sms facility on 8th March 2009.

I had received a confirmation that the deactivation process has been
initiated. Then after some time I received an sms stating my request
cannot be processed. So I again called up 4444 and spoke to customer care.
And once again after a confirmation I received another sms stating my
request cannot be processed.

After this I again called 4444 and spoke to customer care. I told them the
whole thing that I had already asked for deactivation twice and that I
have received sms stating my request cannot be handled. The customer care
person told me my sms facility has been already deactivated that is the
reason it is not deactivating my sms.

Now today I see that a sum of 56 has been deducted and I have 500 local
sms. I had asked for deactivation but still my sms are activated.

I request you that Rs. 56 of my talktime be refunded and my sms be
deactivated. I do not want these sms.

I hope to receive your help.

This is in respect to a Idea corporate connection in my name which i have been holding for over 4 years,
Now currently faced with a situation where IDEA barred my calls and i went ahead and made a payment of Rs.10000 at a idea outlet and they have further gone ahead and sent the ECS for the total amount due of Rs. 13486. So and exces amount of Rs.10000 is due to me.

My question is technology has any bearing in a cellular giant like IDEA where records and systems are not real time but the customer calls being barred are prompt.

My monthly bills are minimum 5-8 thousand and the the customer service deapartment is the worst in the way they handle their customers.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I am astonished at the way the Brand is positioning itself " an idea can change you life" but improvement is necessary to sustain your market share and your customers.


CHANGE NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE

This is an old subscriber to the 'subject-connection' in N.W.Delhi. I have long been repeatedly complaining about POOR SIGNAL in this area. Let it be a multi storied building or a single floor bunglow - whether the connection is in a popular hand-set or an expensive business-brand - one can't just talk from inside the house! Everytime for making or receiving a call, you are to rush out in the open to continue with the call.!! ( otherwise THE CALL EITHER BREAKS or DROPS ). As usual, routine complaints are made and ROUTINE AUTO-RESPONSES COME WITH A SET-MSG.-" YOUR COMP. ID. NO. so & so HAS BEEN PROCESSED"..!!
IN REALITY THE STATUS REMAINS THE SAME. To verify the authenticity of this complaint LET SOMEONE, TECHNICALLY COMPETENT/RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AREA, recheck & reconfirm from the SO-CALLED ID-logs, the ACTUAL RESULT( not just theoretically but from ground-root) of the Com. ID nos.[protected]dt.20/2),[protected]dt.25/2) and[protected]dt.12/3)...?? The monotony of routine complaints and relevant routine response(without real cure) has become so irritating that BEING FLABBERGASTED, I HAVE VENTURED TO A COLLECTIVE DRIVE TO GATHER PHONE NOS. OF AS MANY SUBSCRIBERS( of similar status) AS POSSIBLE and FIND ALTERNATE MEANS OF REDRESSAL.

As a customers we have the right to ask for a 'technically true' network service which, when lagging, will undoubtedly bring detrimental effect to what you call 'your business' !

LET SOMEONE SITTING AT R.N.MUKHERJEE ROAD/KOLKATA or AT MANSAROVAR/JAIPUR HEED IT TIMELY AND ASK THEIR TECHNICAL EXPERTS AS TO WHY THEY DO NOT CARE FOR CUSTOMERS' SATISFACTION AND THUS TRADUCE THE REPUTATION OF THE COMPANY.

NEITHER MARKET-ECONOMY ENSURES THE LAST WORD IN PROFIT-MAKING, NOR OUR KIND OF ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEM CAN HELP IT LONG. ULTIMATELY IT IS THE CUSTOMERS WHO RULE THE ROOST..!!

I purchased 2 new connections of idea. 1st day outgoing was Ok. But now they have barred the outgoing calls saying that your verification is negative. They have also commented that you were not available at the time of verification.Let me tell you that they havent come for any verification yet. I have called Mr. Anupam (Manager){Mob No. - [protected]} so many times.First of all he speaks very rudely, secondly he is not doing anything.I am just fed up by calling again and again.

Dear Sir,

I am a subscriber of idea mobile. My mobile No is [protected]. I received one SMS from idea mobile that my request for dialer tone is activated. I never requested for the same. However, I approached the shop from where I got SIM card to deactivate the same. I received a SMS from Idea conforming the same. I am surprised to find that it is not deactivated till date. Please intervene. The cellular company should also desist from such uncalled for practice. In addition, the company is pouring my in box with uncalled for SMSes. The same practice should be stopped forthwith.
