[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd. — unnecessary deduction of balance by automatically activating vas.

Sir/Ma'am,
I am Ibad Gore. My phone number is [protected]. My service provider idea is continuously activating my value added services and had charged me around rs.200 for these services. The customer care person is also not willing to lodge any complaint nor refunding my money they charged unnecessarily.
Even today I recharged with 50 but they also deducted by activating some services.
Please help.

im gaurav. belong to punjab. my idea number is [protected].actually this is my lucky punjab number. which i got 2 month before.In lucky punjub number i got life time validity and local calls rates 40 p per min and 2 number 10 p per min for life time .customer care gave me commintment for this. now they have deactive this scheame. after inqury to customer care they told me you have given request to deactivate this scheame . they are telling me lies . ihave not given this type of request. so please tell me what can i do for this. they done so wrong.

Idea — Balance deducted automatically

Rs.50 is deducted automatically.When i call to customer care they are saying its for wallpaper download.
But i have not downloaded any wallpaper.

Idea — ACTIVATION OF SERVICES AUTOMATICALLY BY IDEA

I HAVE TO DRAFT A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE IDEA SERVICES .
ON 24 FEB. 2010 A MESSAGE CAME IN WHICH WRITTEN THAT YOUR FUNKOO JOKES PACK HAS BEEN ACTIVATED FOR 28 DAY OF RENTAL RS30/-.
BUT I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED THIS SERVICE. WHEN I COMPLAINT THIS IN IDEA CARE NO ACTION WAS TAKEN AND MY ALL MOBILE SERVICE WERE BANNED.
WHEN I AGAIN WANT TO COMPLAINT IN IDEA CARE THEY ALWAYS REJECT MY CALLS.

IT WAS NOT OF FIRST TIME, SIMILARLY THIS TYPES OF MISTAKES ALREADY HAPPENS WITH ME.
SO I WANT TO COMPLAINT ABOUT THE MISBEHAVIOR, AND MISTAKES OF IDEA COMMUNICATION.


AT THE END I WANT THE "DEDUCTED MONEY" BACK IN MY BALANCE.

Idea — Unnecessary Deduction

I was having balance in my mobile of Rs 24 on sturday night but next morning balanace was Rs. 2. I called up the customer care center but I do not get satisfactory answer.

Idea — Unnecessary balance deductions

Its disgusting to know that Idea Celluar deducts balance even when the phone doesn't support GPRS. I use a LG set that costs nearly 1200 bucks and doesn't have any GPRS facility. I had a word with the service centre in Navrangpura and the answer I got was something disgusting. They said the balance has been deducted because I used GPRS overnight, I explained that the handset I use doesn't support GPRS but still the same answer.

Disgusting, rubbish services won't recommend anyone to go for Idea.

Idea — unnecessary deductions

I keep on getting sms from service numbers after every recharge of my pre paid A/C I called the Idea Cellular Customer Care twice. Also, Rs 5 and Rs 3 are being deducted from my prepaid balance for some contest which I never subscribed. This is highly unethical. I HOPE THE T.R.A.I. DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.
AN IDEA CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE !!! :P

Idea Cellular — unnecessarily activating services and charging money

Hi,

My idea number is +91 [protected] ... I have deactivated music49 service on my account in the month of December. regarding this i had called your complaint number 198. I had a talk with Sonali and found her not at all cooperative. The technical support you have does not even know about the problems. I had sent a message to deactivate this service in the month of December only. I got a conformation message too that this service has been deactivated.
But a few days back i got a messages " congrats you have renewed for Music49 pack for just Rs 49 for 30 days. I have been constantly trying to report this problem at 198.

But the people there are not at all cooperative especially " Saurav and Shivank ". They when addressed with our problems misbehave with customer and often hung the phone up or disconnect.

What is this if a customer has deactivated a service why is it then that u on your own act smart and activate that service on his cell phone,just because you have rights to do any things with customer account .

The customer service offered by u guys are very poor.

Please Try to support and satisfied you customer by your service by his wish not forcefully.
I[censored] want to retain your customers try this by providing quality if service not forcefully.

If any action is not taken to my problem then I will be forced to switch to some better service providers and would also advice my friends to switch connections.

Please accept my complain and return my balance

I AM USING IDEA MOBILE NO. PAST 1 YEAR , ON 30/01/2011 I RECEIVED A MESSAGE STATING THAT RS 45 DEDUCTED THANKS FOR ACTIVATING C BEAUTIES, HENCE I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED ANY SUCH PACK. THUS I REQUEST YOU TO REFUND THE C BEAUTIES PACK AND DEACTIVATE THE SAME.

Idea — Unnecessary deductions

I am being charged Rs 20.00 every 4 days for the wap services but i have never activated these services and my mobile is not GRPS unable - have called customer care but they not able to help.

Cust services is really pethetic, they place on hold for 20-30 mins and then disconnect call without even giving solution.

Request the authorites to takecare of Customer services (i have names of advisor who had disconnect my calls) or they will simply loose customers and also request to deactivte these Wapservice and make sure these charges are not deducted anymore.

I am a cust of Spice since last 8 years and if dont get satisfactory solution - unfortunatly i will have to do number port.

I am using Idea GSM connection (mobile number [protected]). Recently I received a call that I have been selected for a free service for making local calls @30p/min from 5:00 pm to 10:00 am. After activating the service, however, I have been charged Rs. 81/- from my account. Please refund my money immediately.

Sir 13 Dec one landlines call received from me that might be promotional call ,i have not given any confirmation for activation any services,immediately they have send me sms your zeetalkies will be activated and Rs.100 deducted from my balance.
Second incident Happened on 17 jan 2012.After receiving promotional call the activated my dialer tone Rs.30 and Rs.15 total Rs.45 They have deducted from my balance.
Sir both the services i have not required at all,while contacting customer care they are not able to give satisfied answer,

They are just activating the subscription after the call from Idea. I am loosing day 5 rupees unnecessarily. Same thing with my friend. I have called on 198 to stop and refund but they advised to send unsubscribe SMS when I have send SMS no effect. Then I activated DND for all. On my 4-5 call to IDEA 198 they stop to deduct. I think they have developed auto generated system to start subscription on just received of IDEA call. 011...

My name is Kapil Shukla living in Air Force Maharajpura Gwalior (M.P) and my mobile no: [protected]. When I spoke to the customer care they told me that you have requested the service but I have not used the service also not satisfied with your senior executives. Why the company charges the customer with unnecessary deduction. Just for the no reason the customer is suffering a lot of problems with the services of idea group following are details of my unnecessary deduction:
(1) Your IMS has been activated. Amount charged is Rs32 for 27days. Renewal charge is [protected]@1month as applicable msg from 54300 on 21 May at 7.19.07 pm.
(2) Your IMS has been activated. Amount charged is Rs30 for 1Month. Renewal charge is [protected]@1month as applicable msg from 54300 on 14 May at 7.19.07 pm.

(3) Your IMS has been activated. Amount charged is Rs32 for 27days. Renewal charge is [protected]@1month as applicable msg from 54300 on 21 May at 7.19.07 pm.
(4) Dear Customer, your concern for VAS is resolved. The Complain no is SR-1-[protected] but nothing is resolved yet.

Therefore, I request you to refund Rs62 to credit the main account of the customer otherwise we will compile to put this issue to the consumer court because the money matters a lot the customer how long the customer suffers and waiting for prompt action and hope the matters resolve the problem and better the service of idea group.
