To whomsoever it may concern

My name is Xavier Polly carp holder of the GSM postpaid No +[protected] Customer code: 1.11597136 and my unpaid bill amount was Rs.2700/-. There were frequent calls from the IDEA office asking for payment and that is quite normal being the part of their duty to call the defaulters and me being a defaulter I agree with it.

Today[protected] I made the payment in full at (14:26:25) and this will be evident if you check your records. I received a call from the number +[protected] at 15:03 requesting for payment and I told them to check the records and call me back if the payment is not done, I couldn't elongate the conversation since I was in a very important meeting. Immediately there were two missed calls from the same number at 15:04 & 15:06 respectively. I did not answer those calls, I tried calling back on that number at 15:08 in vain because it said that the number does not exist. Immediately (15:08) I received a call from another number +[protected] asking for payment. I asked them if they had checked the records before attempting to call me and the answer was quite unprofessional, just a lame excuse that there is no power to check the system.
All the above calls came to my second number an IDEA pre paid GSM +[protected]

Now I conclude
1) Why did she attempt to call me without taking heed to what I told her? (for checking the records)
2) Whom should I put the blame on?

I need an enlightening answer for the above questions at the earliest. You could call me on +[protected] or send a mail on [protected]@yahoo.com.

    Our Idea number: [protected]

    We had made a call to local mobile number on 25-April-2013 at 6:48 PM for which the call charge is 0.864 RS for 72

    seconds.

    But we have been wrongly charged 1.284 RS for this call.

    The complaint regarding wrong charging related issue is not resolved and Idea has closed the issue without resolving it.

    The amount of 0.42 RS has not been refunded to our account.

    This is a deliberate fraud done by Idea Cellular Karnataka.

    IDEA CELLULAR KARNATAKA — WRONG BILLING

    i have been using idea cellullar connection bearing mobile no [protected] since 1998, in month of november 2009, without my knowledge ,service provider had activate my gprs pack , with 399 monthly offer,since my usage was high , i never bothered to check call details, and kept making payments, in month of february10, i went to pay my bill , people at counter told me my GPRS pack 399 was active , i asked them to deactivate the same, and waive excess amount charged , they subsequently passed waiver for 3 months, i called customer customer and lodged a complaint online, customer care representative, called me on 28/6/2010 and told me they give any waiver for wrong billing, plz do help me on this..........

Now i am getting the bill for the same number which is already cancelled and i am contacting the representatives by name Ms TULASI, Mr BHARATH and Mr DATTU they are not at all replying to my satisfactory so this is the reason i am writing this mail to you Kindly get the solutions for the same...

      I had activated new idea number [protected] on 11.4.13. I bought 249 psp retail plan. In this plan I got 512 mb of 2g plan usage free. It was told me that whenever I will use internet I will get sms regarding usage of inernert. But I am getting sms after 2 days. It shows how much data I used. After 15 days I got massage that bill generated Rs.2600. And it Shows Rs. 1280 unbilled amount.

      When I contacted Idea gallary customer care executive She told me that Bill was genrated . On pro reta basis. And I used Extra 120 Mb. And they had charged Rs. 20 per mb.

      Then I am asking question why company hasn't informed me regarding billing cycle. And why they had not mentioned in sms whenever I had used internet.that I had got only 256 mb of internet usage as per pro reta basis. Why always they showed that 512mb of data in account.

      Please look into the matter that Idead is a Bad Idea company.

              Hello,

              I have been chasing IDEA through care.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com as well as appelate,[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com regarding my complaint on International Roaming problem. I had activated international roaming in march 2013 and have traveled to Ghana in Africa. Since I have come here on Mar 29th, 2013 I am unable to receive calls and SMS on my Idea number [protected]. I had logged a formal complaints thrice with care.idea however there was no good resolution provided to my issue. The last SR number I have is 26566361 and was assured to get resolution by Apr 25th. ITs more than a month and I am unable to use the service. There is no responsible person looking into my issues. I have attached my email communication with IDEA in this regards.

              I have demanded, the refund of the International Roaming charges I have already paid and paying. I demand IDEA should immediately resolve this issue as I am unable to receive my bank alerts etc on this number. The amounts already paid to IDEA for International Roaming service should be paid refunded to me with immediate effect.

              Please look into.

              Idea — No action on previous complaint

              It's been 10 days today that I am waiting to hear first call on my IDEA number which I have purchased on 31st Jul. I got a call from IDEA care that I should go and submit documents to nearest IDEA center and they people will open my number. I did so but the person said that I'll take another week to complete formalities once again as the process to be restarted. I don't have any option but to wait and obey them like a foolish customer. If I ask them that I need to talk to higher authority regarding this, they just re-routed me to IDEA care and it's the place where I started with. Every time they ask the same question and I had to elaborate from starting the same story.
              Outcome of every conversation was WAIT.
              IF IDEA IS NOT ABLE TO FULL FILL THE NEEDS THEN WHY THEY SELL CONNCETIONS.
              I don't have time to waste on IDEA care and keep on writing emails just all I seek is a solution.

              Below is last complaint on 4th Aug 09, I got response on call only but yet no action from IDEA side.

              its my first n last deal with idea . the idea people call u every second hour but when u buy the number they never pick ur phone (smart people) and i m mentioning the name of the guy rakesh([protected]). Idea claims big for consumer satisfaction but result is zero.

              I purchased a number [protected], they sold it but very next day they called me up n said "sir, we r very sorry but tht number is not in out stock . thts good means when they see a 500 rupee note then they didnt consider abt tht.

              then tehy gave me another number [protected]. n now its been twice i visited their office but they said wait wait and wait ...its true "AN IDEA CAN CHANGE UR LIFE "

              when a consumer ask them for higher level person or their number to talk. they say with smile sir, idea care is there where u just wait for an executive but executive never comes .
              i know this mail wont affect the company working but it may be beneficial for us the consumers

                On 28April,13. My balance of Rs.45 has been deducted.i contact to customer care,she said that your mobile number([protected]) has been activated with VAS Service(DIALER TONE).I said that i have not been activated.if suppose i am wrong,currently TRAI has issued a rule to all mobile companies to send a confirmation message.but they didn't send.and i personally used this number for net purpose only and there is no chances to activate this VAS Service by me.

                  I have an Idea prepaid connection no. [protected]. On 27-April-2013, 4:53 pm, 50/- were deducted from my balance. I received a message regarding the balance deduction, which stated that the balance has been deducted because of a game download, 'Handygo games' to be precise. I had only downloaded one game that day from nokia store that was marked as free and does not belong to this 'handygo games'. I complained several times to the customer care, but they say that it was due to Internet usage. I use an Internet pack and the data balance was still over 700 Mb.
                  Please confirm what is going on here.

                  Also, on the same day, two VAS services were activated on my nuMber without my consent. And the money has still not been refunded despite my repeated complaints.

                  I had a balance deduction of Rs.58 on dated 04 feb 2011, without any information.
                  This is not the first time i'm going through this problem, so i called many times to
                  idea customer care for complain and i had talked to SENIOR SUPERVISOR Mr.YOGESH

                  I had a balance of about rs 100 in my idea prepaid account, but it suddenly dissappeared for no apparent reason. I didnt make any calls or messages. Also I had a data plan activated so theres no reason for my balance to go nil. After three days of calling the customer service (and their answer for the last three days was their system hasnt been updated and the balance has been deducted but they dont know why) todat even my data plan doesnt seem to be working and the customer service isnt very helpful.

                    offer made by idea on new Nokia Lumia 720 handset either seems to be fake altogether or its such a secretive offer that the employees of Idea too don't know about it.the promotional 2GB data of 3G per month for two months was to be activated with ing 72hr was not activated in first place.secondly on calling the customer care was of no help either because they had no idea that such offer exists I called up two times and spent 15 to 20 mins but it was of no help.its better that either the company doesn't promote such offers or if it does then it should ensure that staff is well informed and the consumer doesn't have to face such problems.I hope the Idea company resolves my solution in a positive way.

                      This Complaint is an eye opener for those who believe on brand name and accept the words and promises of their executive.
                      Yes Idea Cellular also does not care its image and go to any extent to cheat the innocent clients.

                      One Ms Monica Mob No. [protected]/[protected] called me few days back and offered to port my Mob Number to their network Idea Cellular.
                      She called several times on daily basis and let me waited for 5 days to see an executive to collect the paper and cheque.
                      By the time validity of my phone expired.
                      I asked Monica clearly if she can still help me or I should continue with my operator.
                      This time she asked another Rs. 50 cash to first activate the number and then port for which Rs 50 was the charge which was also refundable in first bill.
                      I paid the executive both the amount.
                      After that Monica is not responding.
                      I asked Idea Cellular to register a complaint. The executive felt I am cheated but they doesn't have system to register a complain.
                      I request you to give this message proper waitage to aware others of such cheating.
                      I feel cheated and so much harassed as my number is inactive now for last 7 days.
                      Please help me find a solution or otherwise I will file a Criminal Case for Cheating and Harassment.

                      Idea Cellular — cheating and harrasement

                      I recharged my phone (no. [protected]) using the ideacellular website and successfully paid the amount through my kotak account( bank transaction reference no is [protected]). But afte more that 40 hrs they have not credited my talk time in my account. I repeatedly complained about this to their customer care email id and even nodal officer but no one is even replying. none of their customer care no. viz. 2222, 4444, [protected] are giving you any way to contact to their CCE.
                      This is a cheating in terms of money and harrasement. Please tell me what the hardest of the actions i can take against them for such irresponsible working.

Such a bad experience I am having with idea for the first time, I am a regular user of idea but now seeing such a pathetic approach of your organization I have to think otherwise.                       None of your no is providing any link to CCE so how can one be able to complaint. This is my last mail after this mail I have to look for other options against the harassment caused by ideacellular services.

                      I lost my Idea SIM Card carrying Mob No. [protected] on 20th December 2009.
                      Though Idea acknowledge (Reference No. [protected] for SIM card lost against Idea Mobile Number [protected], I never received any duplicate SIM card from !dea.
                      Lastly I'd to personally visit Idea office to get one (On 21st January 2010). I used Idea Mobile Number for few more days till my new number from other service provider became functional, thereafter i did not used Idea number.

                      Then I was constantly being bugged by Idea's 3rd Party Collection Agency's Agents for payment, despite giving ‘em an explanation and assurance to pay up over due amount (deducting period of service suspension) at the earliest. They kept on flooding calls during Office Hours and even Weekends. They even started making unsolicited and offensive calls to each and every person with whom I spoke in last couple of months from my call list. Agency’s executives’re utterly impolite and used derogatory words during conversation.


                      I owe an explanation and apology from !dea cellular service company.

                      How could !dea pass on call details of a customer to 3rd Party Agency without his/her consent ?
                      How could !dea instruct 3 Party Agents to humiliate, offend and traumatize customer and customers family and friends for payment?

                      They even told one of my relative that "I passed out". This certainly created panic and trauma to people I'm related to,

                      I strongly oppose such nuisance from !dea and associated 3rd Party Agency calling on behalf of !dea cellualar service and sincerely request !dea to prohibit such unprofessional agencies from communicating with me or any person for call list in future.

                      Besides my image of Idea cellular service certainly got tarnished on the wake of above events and I wouldn't like to continue my association with Idea.

                      I've posted following grievence in consumer complaint forum to forbid such traumatic telecallers and unethical business flourishing around such menace.

                      Their unethical and criminal behaviour includes:-

                      1. They called up my relatives in my home town and told then that i have "expired"

                      2. They called up my office colleauge's and lie to them that they are calling from some credit card company/courier company and ask my friends to urge me to make payments, they never called my own cell number, they use to call my friends from following number:- [protected]

                      3. None of my email requests to Idea cellular delhi has been responded back till now

                      I strongly urge people not to buy Idea mobile services, this may lead to your pre-mature death in front of your family members and you do not have any privacy as they make calls to your friends from your call list.

                      Extracting call details without my knowledge is a criminal breat of trust, and is a criminal breach of my privacy.

                      Kindly advice me as how to move ahead against this dis-honest business group.

                      Idea Cellular Limited — Harrassment of their customers

                      Bill no. [protected] dated 10.3.2011 was paid through cheque no. 994629, but it unfortunately bounced. Therefore an immediate payment was done through credit card. For this this IDEA people immediately deactivated the servicea for a moanth or so without any information. On dialing them 5-6 times they respondedand told that we have to pay Rs. 200/ extra for bouncing of cheque. On our request that the services should be terminated they told us that we are NOT required to pay anything extra. But to our surprise in the next bill they sent us they had added 200/ extra. IN OTHER WORDS THEY DO NOT KEEP TO THEIR SPOKEN WORDS. On my requesting them that the extra payment should be adjusted in my forthcoming bill I have received no reply from them since 20th April 2011 exept that " Dear Idea Customer,

On 14 Apr 13, after getting confirmation from the customer care I got recharged for Rs 249/- for activation of the 3G service for my laptop. I had received a message also from 51985 that 'Apka Rs 249/- 3G pack shigra activate ho jhayega Phone/Netsetter ke Network Setting me pehli bar Oasis/Airtel ka 3G Network select Karen & payen Idea 3G Speed." I am sorry to convey that till date I have not been able to access the 3G service. I have approached the customer care for several times they could not give satisfactory reply. Even after approaching the appelete officer Mr Pradip/Rajiv Bhandari no result. I manage to talk my retailer to the above officers on conference call on their consent. But still no result. The reply of my complaint on the customer care website also received with no fruitful result. Kindly take action against the company for refund.

                          IDEA GSM Mobile — Refund amount for not providing service

                          As per service provider message received then i recharged Rs 4 and they have not provided service has per the message and then they also increased the call rates when i called and asked the IDEA call center representative then they said this service can not be provided my number and also said to get normal call rate i need to Recharge Rs3. I need the my amount need to be refunded to my account.

                          My no is [protected] from delhi.My service provider is idea and i'm prepaid customer of IDEA.on 25 febuary 2011 i take internet scheme of Rs.13 for free internet usage for 3 days upto 150 mb.but on 26 febuary 2011 they cut my whole balance of around Rs. 265 for using gprs(INTERNET).when i try to complain in idea in their no's 12345 and 198.they disconnect my call after some time and not register my complain and not give me any complain no.One of customer care executive told that i use gprs in Chennai ,so because this scheme not applicable in roaming that's why my charges are fair .But they never send me any message (sms) regarding that this scheme of Rs.13 is not applicable in roaming .Other customer care executive told that i cross the 150 mb limit but in this case also they never send me any message (sms) regarding finish of 150 mb.beacuse there is no way they given to check how many mb's are used out of 150 mb .in these both cases they should atleast send me one message(sms) regarding finish of 150 mb or this scheme non applicability in roaming services and when on 28th February i call 12345 one time and 198 many times (7-8 times) and when i want to talk to some seniour manager of their call center ,the customer care executives instead of transfer my call to some senior manger, they just transfer my call to some of their colleges or friends .They behave so informally and not registered my claim of refund complained.

                            The offer made by idea on new Nokia Lumia 720 handset either seems to be fake altogether or its such a secretive offer that the employees of Idea too don't knw about it.the promotional 2GB data of 3G per month for two months was to be activated withing 72hr was not activated in first place.secondly on calling the customer care was of no help either because they had no idea that such offer exists I called up two times and spent 15 to 20 mins but it was of no help.its better that either the company doesn't promote such offers or if it does then it should ensure that staff is well informed and the consumer doesn't have to face such problems.I hope the Idea company resolves my solution in a positive way.

But some network problem i have to close that number.I have put the request in idea to close my number.The customer care girl told me that pay the bill and we will send NOC on my email id and Number will be close.After this procedure,i have made the Payment but i didn't receive any NOC.I called so many times that same girl but she didn't give response.suddenly after 2 months i have received a call from Idea(Mr.Yash).He told me that your bill was pending with us and i describe him all the things,his behaviour was so rude with me.

                                Hi Team,

                                I recently bought a new phone i.e. Nokia Lumia 720 on 20th April,2013. It comes with a Promo offer with Idea Celluar giving 2gb of 3G data free per month for 2 months.

                                I checked with the Nokia care and they said this offer will be activated within 48-72 hours after making the first call from the new phone.

                                I made the call moment i bought the phone i.e. on 20th April,2013 nad its been 6 days now and the 3G pack is not yet activated.

                                @ 24th April,2013 - The idea customer care are saying they dont have any information on this offer.

                                @26th April,2013 - Now the Idea customer care is saying this offer is only if you purchase a new sim card along with the new phone.

                                However, it is not written anywhere on the offer stciker on the box of Nokia Lumia 720 that you have to buy a new sim card. I have checked the same with Nokia Care and the Nokia dealer, they both said this offer is valid with the existing sim card.

                                Please resolve this issue at the earliest.

                                  I have Idea Net Setter Data Card and using it properly, Without any prior intimation or without generating the payment bill Idea has barred my sevices while i have done all the payments before the due date.
                                  Regarding this case i called to Customer Care department and i was shocked to know that no body given me the status of my Idea Net Setter and everybody was confused to provide the complete solution.
                                  They also given me the numbers on that they said we offer the solutions for postpaid connections only, again i was shocked as nobody picked the phone and it was a paid call with 50 paisa per three minutes.

                                  Sir, you are requested to please look into this and take correct action as if they dont have any number for their clients then why they misguide the clients, in real they do not give the any number of conern person only IVR machine repeats the same word to dial the number 9 and nothing happens.

                                    Do not switch to idea, even in your wild imagination you will never have an !dea of troubles you have to go through.

                                    My bad times started the moment I decided to move to idea netwok from BSNL Cellone. I do not have any complaint on taking 7 days to switch network, misplaced application forms or absense of printer or xerox machine in idea store in bangalore.

                                    I have provided my Aadhar Card color photocopy + BSNL postpaid bill while applying for the connection. Once I got the confirmation of porting I have called the number provided for the verification. Verification went fine and I received a warm welcome from their side.

                                    After 2 weeks of porting yesterday 24/4 someone from my native called on alternate number and told my number is not working and they were trying since morning. On dialing out I realized that my incoming and out going barred.

                                    To my surprise it is barred without any SMS intimation or a call. At night I called customer care and they informed me that it is because of negative verification.

                                    My question to !dea is,


                                    Is it the way things work at idea? Dont you have a courtesy to inform the customer before disconnecting the service?

                                    Customer care asked me to visit idea store.they do not have any !DEA on what i need to submit or what additional document they need? Is there any better identity than Aadhar card + BSNL bill. I stay at my own apartment for last 7 years that to a well known area in bangalore.

                                    Do anyone accountable in IDEA y who can answer how they did the verification and what mistake they found? A customer who is resident and owned house at prime location staying there for 7 years have to go through this trouble then what is in the store for others? Remember I am not a new customer, I switched from BSNL postpaid and submitted the bill too.

                                    My analysis - Most of their customer seems to be students, small time shop keepers, office assistants, clerks or other jobs who have freedom to pick call anytime. They expect same from mid level executives as well.

                                    I am using Idea Post Paid connection. When ever I dial to my nattive Place I get "Your call cannot be completed due to conjunction in the dialed network".                                     On 18 of July I have brought a Idea Sim card from a Idea Retailer in Hydrabad Gate, Varanasi. I have submitted only my photo and filled up the form and informed him that i will give the Local adress ID proof once i have received it from my college (IT BHU). My sim got barred from outgoing on 26th of July, mean time i got the residential certificate from my college and submitted the same to the idea retailer with my id proof (Licence) on 27th of july. The retailer promised me that the service will resume on the next day. Mean time that night my incoming got barred. Next day i waited till evening and went and met the retailer. He said it willl be ok in night. This followed till yesterday, untill yesterday when i cross checked the list of form he kept. I saw that my form was still in his table and it was not send to the Idea office. When i asked him abt that he was not at all bothered and he told that it will be alright today. untill now night 10.17 to be precises my mobile is still barred from outgoing. Because of the negligence of the Idea retailer i am in a very pathetic state of being not able to call my family. I would like an explanation from the company on the miseries i have faced in the place which is really new to me with a barred sim card just because of the negligence of the Idea retailer. I am a first year student in IT BHU. When a student is faced with such miseries i hope i get justices.

                                    I have to used Idea no.-[protected] last 1 year. but i m very upset about idea services.
                                    on dt-10/02/11, idea customer care executive call me and said ple submit your documents to near idea showroom, I submitted my documents dt-11/02/11 at 11 AM to idea showroom North Delhi.
                                    But nobody reply agt this complaints and my phone no, not working last 5 days.
                                    very poor service and customer care executives.
                                    How we start my no. or can we change my network.

                                    Idea Cellular — No customer support.Without doing verification, saying negative verification

                                    Idea Celluar , Is not doing verification and disabling the service. They do not come for verification and say that address miss match , although address is correct.They had hang up me outgoing and asking me to go to idea outlet. Not at all helping me out.even after providing proper documents.

                                        its been more than two months i'm trying to get my mobile number which is currently postpaid with ideacellular to perpaid ideacellular, i have submitted my documents 3 time, paid my bill 3 time each time Rs500 which they say is my new bill which they keep generating every month, when i go to customer care office they say from their end they can't do anything ask they have sent the request but its been 2 months now and i don't have any number as my postpaid sim is with them and perpaid sim is not working....
