vibration with big noise and sounds, and now not working. mechanic visited but not attended the problem by saying that the drum broken and sr. mechanic will attend. the machine repair has not been properly attended and it could not be used from its purchase in january,2010. I am undergoing mental agony because of it.Please replace the machine or attend the repair properly. my customer i.d. no is 2149694.

I want to let everyone know that I bought a IFB Senator DX washing machine that was completely faulty even as it reached my home for the first time.I was cheated right from the start, when i bought the machine.The employees at a NEXT showroom(where i bought) said that demonstration cannot be done at the showroom and I had to get it home.

Even in its first run when an IFB associate installed the machine it made LOT OF NOISE, he remarked that the product is faulty. Now I have been after these guys since then.Made hundreds of phone calls. The one very disturbing answer I get is that the product is already bought and hence it cannot be replaced - It can only be fixed. Now here something more disturbing. As I lodged a complaint with IFB about the faulty machine, technicians kept coming and going without any solution, no solution. I kept arguing I want a replaced working product. They kept dragging the situation, opened the machine did something and make some stupid excuse everytime. That some spring has to replaced, you need a stand or stabilizer is require.I did everything.You wont believe it has been an year now. Still no solution. No IFB associate answers my call.Technicians make stupid excuses and leave.

There was a customer satisfaction certificate that had to be filled by me but the technicians never referred to it because it was going to be negative.I have appliances at home from different companies and only one IFB appliance because someone said they are the best washing machine manufacturers.And that is the only one that is faulty. Really pathetic product and Unacceptable customer service.
For anyone going for a machine never go for IFB, i indeed found out from many that there washing machine produces loud noise.Never Buy IFB. Period

    (complaint no. 4066996 Date 26/01/20010).
    (complaint no. 4144769 Date 15/02/2010)
    (MW Model no.20PG2S)

    Very poor after sales Service. There was some problem in one ‘touch pad key’ of IFB Microwave (though ideally it should not happen in IFB MW). I complained one month back (complaint no. 4066996 Date 26/01/20010). Then followed two three times on phone then only a technician came. Initially I was told it’s a small problem and would be repaired by the technician at the site. Technician came and told a part is required which will cost 2000/- (I bought MW in 5000/-). Later when I said its expensive and I need bill he said it will cost 700 – 800/- and he will get it in five days. Then no information either from technician or IFB for a month.

    Then again I complained five days back (complaint no. 4144769 Date 15/02/2010) but still no response from anyone. I will wait for few more days….

    IFB MICROWAVE — Lack of response

    I have lodged a complaint vide ref no. 2151255 on 5.9.08 at 13.45 hrs with the Service Centre of IFB, at Bangalore . The microwave is under warranty and it is just 4 months old !

    On 6th Sept, one of the service technicians visited and stated that certain components needs to be replaced (which would be done in the next couple of days). Even after 10 days of my lodging compaint and persistent follow up with the service centre, I am yet to get a resolve to the problems. The Service centre staff has no clue on the timelines to close this complaint.

    I fail to understand the the attitute of the biggies like IFB .
    towards the customer service.

    I would urge through consumercomplaints.com that someone responsible from IFB headquarter understand the concerns and redress the same without any further delay.

      machine does not switches off after washing. we can not open the door. It is a front loading machine.

      we have a front loading IFB washing machine. The machine once switched on will not stop but it continuously runs. we have to switch off the main power to the machine. the main problem is we can not open the door of the machine and thus the clothes remains inside the machine. we have not been able to take the clothes out of the machine at all....

      As discussed on telecom just a few minutes back , Your person has come and viewed for himself that the problem is not yet resolved and he can confirm that the wash quality is far below expectations.

      I would sincerely hope that at least now you will help us by doing a replacement of the machine with new machine and solve our complaints .

      dishwasher — short circuit in dishwasher

      while my machine was running yesterday smoke was seen with some sound and machine was switched off immediatly.

      I had purchased your product dishwasher on 29.12.2009 but installed only on 27.01.2010. The panel board in the machine has been replaced four times within this short term. The date of change of panel boards are on 26.06.2010 (twice) and 24.08.2010 (twice). The problem faced on these two times has again occurred now. We are not satisfied with your product and within the short time our machine has been repaired by your untrained engineers and it has not been fitted in the same condition as it was in the time of purchased. So we can't offered to use this product any more. So we want a replacement of this machine immediately within 24 hours. We want your feed back immediately.
      This regarding my IFB washig machine, which has a problem and not being resolved by your service team.

      The table top started cracking which indicates poor material / poor workmanship. In view of this why the customer should pay for the defects caused arising out of manufacturing.

        We have taken up with the IFB Dealer at Vadapalani and as per his advice we have taken AMC after we explained the service rep all our problems and collected Rs 2,500/- while he gave rcet for Rs 2,100/- only , stating that they would come and furnish bill for service later.

        the person who attended was Mr. Madhavan[ mobile no. 0-[protected]] and he does not attend to our repeasted calls , discourteous. after so much of follow up they came up on 10th Feb ,2010 and collected Rs 1,350/ - again for replacing the rubber washer, staitng that the previous one was worn out[ this is in addtion to our taking AMC with them during jan, 2010-04/01/2010] . this also did not work and the entire water is coming out . the leakage is so haevy that we can not wash the clothes.

        when we reported this, his response was very harsh and he says that when ever they get time only they would come . and till now despite repeated requests , NONE of them have attended the fault nor compliant.


        what thet have assuerd was that whwnever they get the complaint call they wud attend within 24 hours, but after long wait, their resposne was negative, weeks after waiting , none of them turn up and hence we are preferring a legal action if this is NOT attended within the next 48 hours thro' consumer redressal forum and would claim damages from the concered .

        Now, I intend to take AMC for my Digital 5 Kg IFB washing machine for Rs.2172/-, but after going through yr problem you faced, I am in jittery, whether to take this AMC or not.

        Pl refer my complaint in this same category which I posted today, after opening the machine, they said that one front ring stone and front PVC frame got damaged, this is within 26 months of purchase. I wonder, IFB is supplying such so sub-standard appliances in Indian market!!!

          I have a washing machine of IFB make ( Senorita plus ) bought in 2001 and the machine is under AMC. The front rubber gasket was changed in November 2009 and after that clothes often goes inside the drum and the drum stops moving and gets stuck . I am finding it very difficult becaiuse of this. Yopur service personnel attends and removes the clothes and closes the complaint , but still the problem persists. As of now, on 10th Feb 2010, I had registered fore changing the gasket, but so far nobody called or responded.

          I am in Palghat , Kerala, 8F, Soorya Heights, Kalmantapam, Palghat, Kerala.[protected]. [protected].

          IFB is the most dissappointing product i have bought thus far. Have taken an Amc from the time i have bought the machine but the franchisee company Classic Enterprises have not been able to solve my problem. When i wash the clothes the machine gives out a greasy substance which spoils the clothes. The manager says to give them one more chance but I have come to the end of my endurance. Every time sa different service engineer comes and it is back to square one in a few days. After surfing the net have found your address. after spending so much money have been disillusioned.             I bought an IFB Washing Machine last year in March. It gave a lot of complaints from the start. The person from Harinidhi enterprises came to install it and it kept on leaking. So He said it was because of the vibrations and therfore needed a stand. I bought a stand worth 1000 rupees. Still vibrations keptt happening. The technicians came atleastt 5 times. Yesterday it fell from the stand and I called them up. They came up with a bill of 400 bucks and told me that the installation is not done properly and the rubbercaps were put on the wrong place. Since I refused to pay they removed the fittings and left me in the lurch. I have tried calling IFB asstn manager Mr Abhishek Rajput and he keeps cuting the phone and one poornima who never picks it up.

            Plzzzz people out there never buy IFB. I think I will have to pay for this folly forever

              I am deeply concerned at the poor response and casual attitude of your service centres as well personnels who note the complaints. I have lodged complaint at service centre CALCUTTA four times , first one on 21 Jan 10 , that my microwave oven is not functional since last one month. Customer code 1935713 , Ticket No 4053021. Ms Rishita noted the same. NEXT on 29 Jan , thereafter on 03 Feb and 05 Feb 2010.Ms ananya and Mr Rahul noted the same. Astonishingly I was informed that the complaints have been closed.The product is under AMC , AMC No 319 Dt 30 DEC 08.This pathetic response reflects very poorly on the Management, besides causing inconvenience to customers.

                We are struggling very hard to get service at Mumbai for IFB dishwasher. Despite several complaints to IFB customer care and service centre, with numerous phone calls to their Customer Care, we are not getting our Dishwasher complaint addressed. Every time they say, the required spare part has not come and making odd excuses every time. The latest complaint is pending since 16.01.2010. However this problem started from Sept 2009. Some Control Board has got problems. What will one feel, if Rs. 28000 is spent on a Dishwasher and we are to call occasionally ‘BAI’ to wash the dishes, what a bad situation. We are constrained to post complaint here
                Even the behavior of their service centre people at Mumbai is too rude and un-concerned, to tolerate. IFB like international company service will be so bad, I never thought. Please help us in getting our complaint ahhanded by IFB Service Centre. Other than their service centre at Mumbai, where we can approach in IFB?

                    We have a IFb washing machine model ALNA this machine is having AMC with the company upto upto 2011.
                    On 30 th August all of sudden water start leaking from the bottom of the machine Aformer compalnt was lodged on 31 st august 2010 a complant no -5030529 .
                    Enginer of the com visted the site and informed that some rubber part has gone parted and it will be replaced within a day but ever after the expiry of 7 days the fault could not be rectified.Although the engineer Mr Vijay was reminded almost 2 times a day this shows the poor performance and serive after sales by the company and we will not recommend anybody to buy IFB products because this is not the very first time when the com has taken so many days it has happnd prviously also.Now we request to rectify the fault without any further delay.From T.R.Arora House no-1118 Sector-17 Faridabad Ph- [protected].

                      IFB really you will happy to know that, How am I happy with your services. I purchased your washing machine model no-AW7233 from JAGOTA ELECTRONICS MODEL =2ND DELHI-110009 with the price of rupees 18500.On that day i was happy but what happened on the next day.

                      I visited to your website and checked the price which is rupees 18200 of that product I shocked, Even on the machine cover was written this price with inclusive all taxes rupees 18200. First when i asked to the showroom owner for discount when i was purchasing the machine he said there is no discount going with this product and the second thing he charged the extra amount from me. On next day when demo boy came at my home that day i was not at my home but my mother was at home he made my mother totally fool your demo executive name is Krishna and his mobile number is-[protected] he offered my mother ifb small water pipe with cost of rupeess-750 and only 900gm surf excel with cost of rupeess-200 and didn’t give the demo and left the home as soon as he came at home only making fool to my mother for sailing I agreed we had a requirement of water as per the our home water pipe line but i think he has not charged efficient amount for that small water pipe . Next day i read your book and started the machine from that time to now machine worked but never spin the cloth as comparison to other machine or not wash cloths as well as.                         Have been dealing with The After Sales service company called Home Appiances Service ,Shop no G-10,upper ground,E-57,vinod Nagar,I.P.ext.Del.

                        Have an AMC with them.The drum of the washing machine had been replaced last month.However the engineer had not fitted it properly & have had a number of clothes shredded subsequently!

                        Despite chasing them for the last month nobody has arrived to correct the problem!Am openly told that my house is not enroute & hence not convenient !

                        Am extremely harassed & feel cheated since i signed up for an AMC which is valid till Oct 2010!

                          Gave E-Mail regarding failure of my Automatic Washing Machine to IFB customer support on 11th Jan 2010.

                          Very next day their representative from Hosur (M/S.Lisanth Appliance Services) sent their personnel for attending the problem.

                          They told that drum got failed and they had to take the M/C to their Work shop as it was not possible to replace the drum here.

                          I had to pay Rs.1000/= as advance and Rs.280/= as transportation charges. They promised me to deliver back the machine after 2 days' time, but I did not hear any thing from them even after 10 days.

                          After making so many reminders over phone they delivered the machine atlast on 26.01.2010(After 16 Days). I was told that Drum was in good condition and only the Bearings and Oil seals were gone. Again I paid Rs.200/= as transportation charge and Rs.930/= as balance service charge - (Total Rs.1930/=,As per their Invoice No:029 dtd.,26.01.2010).But with in 30 minutes of operation M/C stopped, tripping off main MCB. Water found leaking from the bottom(Beneath Washing drum) of the machine.

                          When I contacted the owner of the service centre he asked me to switch off the heater and run the machine. When I did so again the same problem occured.

                          Yesterday(27.01.2010), I asked him over phone to come and attend the problem.
                          But up till now no body has come. He is not even bothered about my concerns over this matter. Our clothes got stuck inside the machine.

                          Now, he is not even attending my phone calls.

                          Please intervene and find a solution to my above problem.

                            I have made a request to send the Washing Machine technician to see my 1 year old Elite 5 Kg machine which is giving problem of water not draining out. I have made this request to IFB customer care on 22nd January 2009. They promised me that somebody would reach in 24 hours.

                            After 7 days no body had come. No call has come and I would have called IFB customer care 20 times. Everytime the attendent would apologise and promise for the action. He suggested that I also follow from local service centre. 9 numbers were given to me - none worked.

                            IFB has committed a fraud upon me by influencing me to buy their washing machine with the false promise that the services would be available in 24 hours in case of any isue, which never really happens.

                            Neither they are keen to see any customer satisfaction. As long as product is working itself well, it is fine, but when it gives problems you are doomed with company like IFB.

                            Such farce of IFB on customer services should be exposed.

                            I SUGGEST NOT TO BUY ANY IFB PRODUCTS!!! Specially IFB Washing Machine Elite 5 Kg.

                            We have brought "IFB Washing Machine Elite 5 Kg" from the month 1 it started giving problem.
                            We are in city only but the service people ask us to bring the machine to their service center which 45km from for place. I have finally contacted the head office.. still no response...

                            IFB Service is very poor.
                            Now the IFB quality has come down.
                            Their Service Engineers are not professionals.
                            To solve one problem, they creates more problems..
                            They just cell, not bothered about the Proper Service
                            Not bothered about the customer satisfaction.

                            I SUGGEST NOT TO BUY ANY IFB PRODUCTS!!!

                              I bought a IFB DIVA WASHING MACHINE from a authorized distributor in Bareilly (U.P.) some time back. Since beginning it turned out to be a defective product. All the clothes are worn out and damaged. As of now company has discontinued the manufacturing of this particular model. Despite of few complaints no response yet. Being such a reputed company, the product turned out to be of no use. The company should replace the model or refund the amount.

                              I bought washing machine and microwave from IFB on 24th Jan. It wss delivered three days later to me and that too both were defective, which they promised to replcae. Till today they have not replcaed the same and I am really upset about the same. Imagine washing clothes for 5 elders and 1 kid with office. I am regertting the time when i took the decision to buy IFB as a brand.

                                IFB toploading aw-60-806 wasing machine Complaints

                                NON ATTEDING COMLAINT IN WARRANTY PERIOD

                                I bought IFB fully automatic washing AW60-806 from Darpan Sales Bathinda on 31.07.2008 vide bill no. 669. It is not working for the last 20 days. I had registered a complaint no. 214 dated 08.01.2010 at IFB service centre Bathinda. After few days a technician came to my house to see the machine. He even does not know about functions of machine. When I told him about the problem, he said PCB has to be replaced and it will take two days. After making requests for a week on telephone and visiting the centre personally, again a technician came on 20.01.2010 with a PCB. He does not know how to open the machine. He then asked for manual and then he was able to open the machine. Then he said that the PCB is not matching with the old one and said he will come back after two days. But after making many calls, even upto today no one came from IFB service centre. We also registered complaint at IFB website and make calls to toll free numbers of IFB but in vain.

                                  I am from kumbakonam. I bought ifb washing machine few years ago. My washing is under Amc. There is no service centre in kumbakonam and the service centre is only at Thanjavur. i have given my complaint before one month and the service is not attented till today. i have given my complaint to the service head of this region also. the one answer i get from thanjavur service centre and ifb customer service is, they will attend today. That today havent come till this day. i am quite fed up with this service division. A very good washing machine with a poor service back up. i feeling sorry for buying this washing machine. an ordinary washing machine with good service back up is enough for me. sorry to say this.

Simon John Asirvatham, residing at 6/24, East Car Street, Kuruvikulam, have purchased a IFB ELENA DX 5.5KG Model Washing Machine from Sathya Agency, Kovilpatti vide Manual Bill No:1538 dated 14/01/2010 & Computer Bill No: CBKVT1-08531. The Agency told when IFB Team come and explain briefly and will install the machine and show demo also. But till now nobody come for Installation. When I approached the agency they gave IFB Team’s Mobile number. When I directly contact to them vide Mobile No:[protected] dated 18/01/2010, Monday to Rajakumari, she informed me within 3 days would come for installation and demo. And thereafter I contact to the same number on 21/01/2010 Mr.Melki attended the call and told that tomorrow would come. But till nobody come here. Now they are saying if service man available in Monday, we will send him but not sure. Even though I purchased the Washing Machine with High amount, More than 9 days I am awaiting for installation and demo without remove their packaging.

                                    Please do needful earlier and avoid the delay to others in future.

                                    IFB Washing Machine: Elena DX — Installation demo still awaited

                                    I am writing this mail to express my deep sense of displease against the company. We had bought an IFB washing machine (Elena DX) on the 5th of November from Electronic Plaza located at Kalkaji. Till date we have not had the demo of the washing machine, inspite of our constant requests and rigorous reactions. Nobody seems to pay heed to the customers and we are still anticipating the concerned person to come home in order to perform the demo. We are a working couple who due to time constrains cannot be on the beck and call of the demonstrator.

                                    We are extremely dissatisfied as far as the company ethics is concerned which claims to deliver service within 24 hours. The dealer too has no clue as to what is to be done. Please let me know the steps that are to be taken now.
                                    Even i am facing the same problem...i bought the machine on 10th dec(mumbai)..& still waiting for the installation/demo...very bad aftersales service of a good washing machine company...i think the company should look into what r the after sales team are doing..they may lose the reputation of a good washing machine brand

                                    But as per commitment given by Dass that the company person will attend for free demo of washing machine within 48 hrs .The present situation is that nobody has attended for demo. Last four days I am waiting for the same.

                                    I have purchased IFB Elene DX washing machine 1.5 year back. Since couple of month I am facing issue regarding noise in appliance during working.

                                    So I have register a complaint to rectify the issue one and half monthj back (Permanent code - 2843501 & Ticket Number[protected] and 3-4 service engineer visited and without knowing the root cause they have replaced the 3-4 mail parts with older one and make the condition even worst. Now machine is not working at all and they have made so much scratches which gives feeling of 10 year old machine.

                                    I had a problem with IFB washing Machine Model : ELITE, They dismantled the machine and reassembled the machine within 1 week from the date of purchase, I was fighting with them to replace the machine which was not taken care, After 2 years i had a problem where it was creating a banging noise when it spins, I registered a complaint, Technicians came in within hours and checked the machine and said that 3 parts have gone bad, and asked me to pay Rs.4700 to replace or else Rs.4200 towards 2 years AMC . I spoke to the manager and he asked me to pay Rs.2100 for 1 year AMC. with no other option, i have paid them the amount .                                       Dear Sirs,

                                      I had purchased IFB Senator 6 Kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine. The machine is still under warranty.

                                      There is loud noise coming from the drum hence we had launched the above mentioned complaint.

                                      Your technician visited our residence just switched on the machine and when he heard the noise he told the drum is damaged and you will have to spend Rs 5500 for a new drum.

                                      When questioned how does the drum get damaged they got the most ridiculus answer he told "YOU SHOULD NOT WASH PANTS IN THE WASHING MACHINE AS THE DRUM CAN BE DAMAGED DUE TO THE BUTTONSPRESENT IN THE PANT"

                                      Since my wife and mother in law were alone they did not take any decision.

                                      On the top of this the technician charges Rs 331 as service charge.

                                      Q 1 Is your IFB Senator washing machine meant to wash only Vests and Briefs ? At least that was the feed back that we received from the technician.

                                      Q 2 How can the technician charge Rs 331 as service charge when the machine is under warranty ?

                                      Q 3 Why should we bear the charges of replacing the drum when the same is under warranty ?

                                      We have anyways purchased a New Washing Machine LG Fuzzy Logic last month and are using it.

                                      Your IFB machine is kept as a show piece as we are unable to use it.

                                      I am highlighting you this issue since this is clear cheating of the consumer.
