I have purchased IFB washing machince - Senator and the same is still under AMC. On 1/2/09 the machine was producing noise while spinning henceI had complained to the call centre.Delhi. I had only delhi number with me as I shifted to Mumbai in June 2008. While giving complaint I even gave my new contact details and new address. After 2 days the technician called me and said that he is near my Delhi address. Once again I explained to him that I have shifted to Mumbai and I am facing problem with the machine here. He gave me different number and many people came on line but nobody was interested in solving my issue. Every one was giving different numbers. Finally I got thru Suresh @ [protected] who attended to my machine after 2 days. He intially told that the bearing has problem and said that he will fix the same the next day. Next day again he said there is problem with some other part and said he will repair the same soon. Now it has become more that 12 days still my machine is not functional. This is a pathetic service of IFB and I am really fed up following up with the person. Pls take this complaint seriously and take suitable action against IFB.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Most Pathetic Service

I am from Mumbai. I brought IFB machine 2 months back and started experiencing problems. The Service centre is most worst part. Their timings: 12 noon to 6 pm. So I have ensure some one is available at home during this hours. Also they dont give any approx time about the technician's visit. So we have keep waiting for them. Quality of technicians are poor. The last time the technician handle the "Rinse" nob so badly that it has become un usable now.

Overall I very unhappy and would not recommend IFB to anyone.
I am under AMC (11.01.08 to 10.01 09), my complaint reg. no is 2109260 dated 25-8-08, for the past 14 days my problem has not been solved. The service agency XCELL CARE, CHENNAI -- 16 are cheating us every day telling that my problem will be solved that day. More when ever I call a service person they never attend my call and even if they attend they try to passify me for that moment and they never turn up. Even in your call centers the same is happening and they also protect them and not the customer. In this mail I have not mentioned any of your service persons name or mobile number (IFB and Dealer), if you require it surely it will be mailed by me to you. I hope that atleast now my problem will be solved, if not even then surely I will handle this matter leagly. (Regarding this complaint none of your ifb/service persons has not contacted me)

I wish to draw your attention on the pathetic service quality offered by your Ahmedabad branch and service provider M/s smile Care.

Fault no. 1 and apathy of Service branch
The first experience was on 4th August'08 when we lodged a complaint regarding malfunctioning of outlet hose of machine. After numerous follow ups and speaking to local service head Mr Mandar (who seems to enjoy Z category security as to speak to him i had to make no less than four phone calls clearly detailing every word i need to tell him), we were obliged by the services of a technician. He apparently had come to repair the machine but it appeared that he was more for marketing the Annual Maintenance contract (AMC )services.

Unique way of marketing by Service Provider leading to fault number 2
We were not very much convinced with his marketing and seeing our disinterest he managed to somehow make a small cut on the machine belt without our knowledge. after repairing (actually replacing) the outlet pump, he drew our attention to the "dilapidating" condition of belt and further insisted on AMC.

However we were not impressed. After about ten days the machine again conked off. With previous experience of service quality we acted "smart" and instead of registering compliant on call centre, we simply asked the service provider to come over for "discussing AMC" . Needless to say the service was prompt this time (Reason: To add one more AMC in their record). The belt was then replaced with full charges. We did not buy AMC again.

Later during discussions at home we pondered that perhaps the service response is bad due to our not being an AMC client. So we decided to take AMC and the same was done (AMC no. 3635 dated 11.09.08)

Fault number 3 and Goo[censored]ps at call centre
Our misfortune did not stop here. the machine running fantastic for past 3 years somehow got friendly with the technicians and again refused to start on 24th Sept'08.
With a presumption that we now being in the elite AMC club, we will be serviced fast, my wife called up the customer service[protected] and registered her complaint at 5:45 p.m. The soft spoken call centre employee assured her that somebody will attend in next 24 hours. No one turned up in next 24 hours we waited for another 24 hours
After 48 hours on 26th Sept08 i followed up by calling at same number and there was same response "somebody will attend in next 24 hours".
On 27th Sept i got little anxious seeing the huge pile o[censored]nwashed laundry at home. So i again called up at customer service and the lady gave me my complaint number and asked to contact the "service provider- M/s Smile Care".
Upon calling Smile care i was told that the said complaint number is of 4th august and the call has been completed.

Aghast.!!!... i called up the "customer service" again. Now the lad explained me as
"Sir. your complaint number 2240161 is dated 4th august and the same has been closed now. since we are not able to generate new complaint number till the time old complaint number is not closed we had simply put remarks in the old complaint only but it seems our service provider has overlooked and has "by mistake" closed the complaint. Anyway i am registering your new complaint, please take down the number as 2230568 dated 27.09.08, now somebody will contact you on Monday 29th Sept."

Service Centre adds fuel to fire
As usual and expected no one came on Monday, after follow up at service centre one technician turned up and detected that Motor is faulty and needs replacement and asked us to cough up Rs.4000/- as the machine is not under AMC.
My wife immediately called me up to inform this, in turn i called up at the local branch and somehow managed to speak to Mr. Mandar. I explained him the entire situation and told him that the only proof of AMC we have is the cheque number (amount Rs.1623) which has been debited from my account. However he was totally unaware of such transaction and assured me that he will look into.Later i was denied any contact with him by his phone operator.

Faulty recording by Service Provider
Meanwhile after my wife's arguments with the technician, he could find that the AMC is done but the machine serial number is entered incorrectly in AMC records. He returned saying that he will look in godown if the spare motor is available he will replace tomorrow or else we have to wait till a new motor is delivered in their godown.

Today on 30th when we called up at M/s Smile care, a lady called Ms. Praveena picked up the phone and responded in her mechanical voice "if the spare is available it will be done tomorrow" When we asked whether she can tell if the spare is available or will be available in near future She shouted on us and asked to call only after 4 p.m.

Betrayed Customer
Now, we do not know whom to complaint and what mistake did we do in spending those extra few thousands in buying an IFB machine instead of Videocon which is working without any fail for past ten years at my parents place.

IFB is not a consumer oriented company. Their strategy is to outsource maintenance and make money in outsourcing. The outsourced maintenance companies force cuctomers to enter into AMC else machine lies unrepaired. Once AMC is awarded, be prepared to shell out additional 2000 Rs annually on one or other part which they claim has gone bad.
I had similar experience and company did not care to respond also.
I recommend STAY AWAY FROM IFB
i purchased IFB washing machine, Model-Executive Plus in nov'2007
since then I am facing a lot of problem.
The machine which vibarated at a very high speed and had problem while spinning was
finally replaced after 10 months on making numerous requests to do the favour.
replacement too was a long procedure.my machine was dismantled 10 day before i was
provided with the new one.sorry to say that but it was not the end of my miseries.

sir/madam, i was shocked to know that the replaced machine was used one and also had some problems.
i was proud to be one of the customer of such an esteemed organisation
and had high expectations regarding the product and the services, but all in vain.
presently both the machines are at my place and of no use.the incident has hurt us a lot.
I had registered a complaint with IFB on the 18th of November. I was informed that my machine would be attended within 48 hours. Six days have passed and today, the technician phones me and wants to know the nature of the complaint. When I lodged the complaint, I had given a detailed list of the problems that I faced with the machine. The same experience has been experienced by my niece and she too just want to get rid of her IFB washing machine. Once the technician comes to attend to the fault a big bill is thrust on the customer. Something has to be done to, since most of the IFB customers are at wits end. I personally recommend, " BUYING AN IFB WOULD GIVE ONE NIGHTMARES"
I have an IFB washing machine digital 7kg. It is still under warrenty.
Despite of multiple phone calls no one has attended the call.
Call centre is worst I have seen in last few years. No one picks up the phone. You will have to wait for minimum 15 minutes before someone attends your call. Even if you are connected, you will have tough time explaining and understanding the representatitves. Very poor communication skills.
First representative disconnected by phone in the middle of conversasion.
Second one gave me a complaint number with an assurance that someone will come to fix the problem next day.
One day later, another representative gave me name of local service station in Pune:
Enigma Enterprises contact number 65000201 cellphone number [protected] name of contact person
Param Yadav and his personal cellphone number [protected]. I was highly impressed with the details provided to me until I tried reaching them.
Enigma Enterprises does not exists in Pune. 65000201 is switched off, [protected] is switched off and My Yadav is not attending the call.
Next day when I again tried reaching call centre, I had to repeat the same story and this time I got a new number[protected] which is again not reachable.

THis is the worst after-sales I have seen. There are other pathetic service stations available but this one is the worst.

I will never ever recommend IFB products to anyone.
My IFB washing machine is under AMC. I am located in Noida. Repeated calls to the call center get the same stupid response that the complaint will be attended in 24 hrs. It's been more than a week and no service engineer has turned up. There is no higher authority with whom one can lodge complaint. The phone number of the service franchises for the area are not responding to calls. This is the worst service ever for any of the appliances that I own. IFB simply charges inordinately high AMC amount to customers and does not provide any service nor does it compensate in any way for its poor service. They should be made to refund the AMC amount along with punitive charges for irresponsible and fraudulent trade practices - their call center should be hauled up for being rude and irresponsive to customer complaints. IFB should be forced to recall all its defective products and refund the cost of purchase along with punitive damages.

we have an IFB front loading machine whcih has started malfunctioning. for which I feel shame due to poor service under AMC at Delhi. Mr Dubey (# [protected] ) never pick his mobile, who has done our AMC contract & he never try to conatct us . Our AMC yearly contact is of Rs 1700/- We tried the customer care numbers given on the brochure, but none worked. then we got call centre numbers from web sites of IFB. Again there is no response and at times we have to hang on for more than 10 minutes thereby wasting our calls. IFB, a reputed complaint has a very very shoddy customer care. They should wake up to this . If service is not given in one week, I am going to complaint in the consumer court for taking money in the name of AMC by frauding us

I am going to take IFB Elina DX. Please tell me any body is it my decision is right or wrong.Because i heard many many complain about IFB regarding service. Please help me.
I have been trying to call your call centre since 3 day it keeps me on hold & my machine is spoiled I have an anual contract with your company & that place we do not work for IFB now we will charge you extra to come & visit & look into the matter
It is very unfortunate that IFB is providing a very poor customer service to its elite customers. Dealers are only interested in roping new customers without giving any notice to to service to the existing customers. The limit was crossed when the customer service agent himself was indulged in replacing duplicate spare parts, wherein IFB is advocating the use of genuine spare parts.
Myself too a victim of such an unprofessional servise as my IFB washing machine, SENATOR 6 KG got some technical snags . Upon informing the customercare service, the agent responded and upon examining the washing machine he declared that the control circuit plate was defective and need replacement. As the equipment was under warrenty period the services were provided, but to my dismay the washing machine again got the same snag after few months. Again the service centre agent did the same thing. Interestingly the defect resurfaced third time.Upon going in the issue deeply, i found that the spar part he was replacing was actually duplicate. When I enquired about the details the agent turned up hostile and didnt responded properly. Seeing the situation even the dealer of the washing machine washed his hands off. Such a poor customer service is just keeping others at bay from buying such an elite product because after all, after sale service matters a lot.

I have purchased IFB washing machine Senator 6 kg fornt loading machine last week. Before buying the machine i enquired from many of my friends and collegues abuout the performance of the machine. The report from every one was extreemly positive. However many of the intenet sites on custormer feed back was extreemly depressing. So far the functioning of the new machine is just excellent. But i may have to see its functioning in the long run.

I have the same problem. My washing machine is under warranty. The engineer could not figure out the problem and tried to repair somehow and now, it is a dead piece of equipment. The engineer stopped coming. The service centre now-a-days after hearing the complaint no. disonnect the line. Please be very careful in buying IFB products. After sales service just does not exist in this company.
This is reg complaint number 3587861 dated 06/10/2009.
Though the complaint has been raised on 06th, no resolution has been provided yet. The technician (Anil Kumar) who attend on 07th has isolated the issue to be with motor and said that needs to be
replaced.

My machine is still under warranty.The technician was so irresponsible that he didnot place a order for motor replacement immediatly. When we contacted customer care, they asked us to contact the area sales manager Mr. Srinivas. When contacted Srinivas he refered Mr. Dharini Kumar, who said that the technician has placed an order after 3 days of his visit.

When contacted Dharini kumar yesterday (22/10/09), he said motor has been couriered and waiting for technician as the technician is on leave.Today being 17th day after lodging the complaint, issue has not been solved. None of the above (Dharini Kumar or Anil Kumar) is not picking the call today.

THIS IS VERY REDICULOUS AND PATHETIC SERVICE OF IFB.

Dear sir,

I have purchasec IFB alite 5 Kg machine 3 years ago. The machine is under AMC after expiry of warrenty. During Septmber 2008 one IFB technician has come my resisdence and said he has come check the washing machine as a routine check. He has opened the top and checked some thing and suggested us to take a desalination unit costing Rs. 1, 800/-. We thought this will improve the perforamance of the machine and purchased the same.

After some days we noticed the machine is not working properly. In cold position water is heated and spoiling the cloths. We gave a complaint and after great struggle the technician has disconnected the heating element (thermostat) time being and we are able to wash the cloths in cold state.

Subsequently the technician, on several reminders to the local serviice manager has replaced the thermostat. We thought that the unit will work alright. On 25.12.2009 complaint[protected] when we washed the costly cloths in cold position all the cloths damaged due to abnormal heat generated even though the knob is in cold position. We understand that the technician has done nothing but simply replaced the thermostat.

With great difficulty and a technician has come to me residance and replaced the thermostat. Since I am a technical person I throughly monitored the work carried out by the service person. There are three pins on one side of the thermostat. out of these three middle pin was left vaccant and ist, 3rd pins were connected. earlier also the thermostat was in this state. I did not leave the service person and demanded a demo wash of the machine. Fanally he has atempted a cold wash.The situation is same as before replacing the thermostat.

Service person has contacted some body at Visakhapatnam and changed the connection of the pins . Now the 2nd and 3rd pin were connected. Machine is running aslright.

This shows the ignorance of the service persons on both the occations who attended my IFB Washing machine. I understand that the service person who visited during Sep 08 without any complaint, has disturbed the connections and he might have faced some problem while attending to some body's machine and for clarification he might have cross checked my wiring of the thermostat. To justify his visit he has told that he has come on a routine check.

The ignorance of the service person has damaged my costly clothe and has caused much inconvenience. I demand Rs. 10.000/- as compensation for the damage occurred by IFB people. I prefer to approach consumer form for justice if the compensation is not paid immediately.

IFB service point is just 0.5 km from my residance and never attended to the complaints immediately. Every person from IFB service feels that he is attending the complaint on obligation and never feel that it is primary reponsibilty.They are discurtious and treating the customer as illetarates and as service persons are highly qualified. This type of attitude is not correct.

I contacted Mr. Shiva, the so called IFB technician 03 months back for providing the service to repair my programmer / selector of washing machine T 2900 DX but exept promises he never turned up again and after loosing all my patiance I have registered my complaints on 10 Sep 10 online, except getting one phone call from head office and service rep, no service is provided tilldate.I request the concern authority to look into this matter seriously and provide all the assistance to Mr. Shiva to get the programmer from Ambatore / Goa

    I confirm having logged flg. complaint with M/S. IFB on the company's web-site:
    We have IFB make front loading washing machine WT.2900DX. We have also paid and registered for AMC ( Annual Maint. Contract ). We are repeatedly facing problems with the machine and each time your service engineer takes upto a week just to respond. IFB is yet to respond to complaint registered on Friday Feb. 6th, 2009. We have flg. two specific complaints; which we request to be redressed immediately:
    Extremely poor competence of Service engineer deployed by you.
    Total disregard to customer service and delays in response.
    Immediate action on above matter may kindly be taken. My address is as under:

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — Repeated problems

    I had great faith in IFB. But now I am frustrated with your customer care service. When my digital washing Machine developed a snag, I was informed that the circuit board had to be replaced. . But to my dismay after the lapse of 2 weeks of my complaining the machine had not been repaired yet though it is on AMC. The service centre blamed the company for not sending the spare. Unless you care for the customer how can we trust IFB in future?

    At the time of buying the digital machine, the salesman elobrately pointed out the advantages. But now the mechanics criticize the machine as it developed snags during rainy season. Why don't you find out a long lasting solution to this drawbacks. I sincerely expect a quick response from you.

    I have purchased IFB washing machine, but machine is giving trouble continously, so many time I have complained to IFB company but as and when yr Representative visiting, charging Rs.200/= which is not justify, if minor defect is their yr rep has to repaired it at free of cost. Service is very very poor, being a purchase officer at ONGC I will not recomend to purchase IFB make any product, my self and my friends has purchase IFB fully Auto washing machine, both facing lot of problem. We both will not recomend to purchase IFB machine even to our relatives and friends. very very poor service.

      I have brought a Microwave oven Model 25SCI on 17th April 2007 and I have entered into an AMC vide receipt no.1182 on 20th June 2008, I have registered a complaint vide no.2630900 on 18th January' 2009 the service person came and inspected and told that some magnet and transformer need to be changed and till now there is no reply, when ever i contact them they say this week it will be completed. Can any one let me know the details of IFB companies higher authorities no. or mail ids, so that I can escalate things. Further I want to take up this matter to consumer forum, can anyone help me on this.

      IFB MICROWAVE — SALES SERVICE NOT PROVIDED

      I HAVE PURCHASED A IFB MICROWAVE ON[protected] AND IT HAS NOT BEEN WORKING SINCE DAY ONE. I HAVE CALLED UP AND REGISTERED MANY COMPLAINTS TO THE IFB CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE REGARDIG THIS MATER BUT RESULT IS NIL KINDLY HELP WHAT I DO.

      I have purchase a Microwave oven through Home Shop18.
      Material code:[protected].. Microwave Oven 17pg2s00031.. along with 9-pcs starter kit. MK020gfstk050. against your Invoice NO.[protected].dtd.17.6.2010. and delivered on. 18.6.2010.. White delivery of this Microwage oven. we spoke to a person to install, the person salys that the Engineer will come and install and tell about the microwave oven.

      Sorry to say that your Engineer has not come so far after the delivery of the producd on. 18.6.2010.

      We are waiting the Engineer will come and install the Microwage oven.

      I hope the you take this complaint on urgent basis and solve our problem.

        I have puchsed ELENA washing Machine during 2006. Now the machine iis producing loud noice on spinning. service person attended and informed that the drum is to be replaced as it went out of order due to the use of HENKO detergent which I cannot believe . is there any relation between the detergent and the drum rotating with noice. the drum must have been removed from the belt or fittings which he is not accepting and demanding Rs2500/- for the replacement of the drum . Kindly intimate what is actual technical problem, is there is any relation between the detergent and the drum, it is to be replaced as suggested by the service person

          Timer problem

          I bought ifb washing machine (Executive ellite) here in varanasi, 3 years back, i encountered the problem after using it for about 13-14 months, the timer was not working, so during the washing period, the machine does not rotated,
          Since it was still under warranty, the faulty timer was replaced (Approx cost 2300 rs.) free of cost.

          Now again after the replacement, the machine worked fine for another 18 months, then...

          I had complained several times about the IFB Microwave Oven. Unfortunately they don have any customer service number, so i could only register the complaint online on their website... Till date no response and no fix... The warrantee period ends this month... and wat do i do, pay for it, wen it was a bad quality product from the company!!! IFB is the worst i have ever seen... I neitheram gonna buy anymore of it nor will I recommend to my known ones...

          I did find their customer service number but of no use... they then give u the franchisee number and ask u to follow it up...
          I live in Aligarh(UP).I had complaint(Comp.no 3040228) of my microwave on[protected], its in the warrenty period.Daily i m calling on their service center at().many times i had talk with their officers (Mr.Sumit-[protected] and Mr Chandan Singh -[protected], head of customer service-UP Region ) but not get any proper responce.
          Numbers of any higher authorties are not available
          many times on their website i had complaint but no response i got.
          their products are worst
          their licence should be cancelled.
          they dont take customers compalints seriously.
          Similar ex[perience I am also havin. For the last 4 days I am also trying hard to get my complaint regarding IFB Washing Machine attended. But to no avail. Same (Mr?) Chandan Singh and (Mr.?)Sumit are proving to be elusive

            i have purchased, IFB microwave (30SC2) on 25.01.09 from dealer CROMA (a TATA enterprizes), pacific mall, Ghaziabad, we have been assured that engineer will visit my place at 8 p.m. on 28.01.09 (after 3 days of purchase), since we both working, we have managed to reach home to receive service engineer, but no one turned up, complaint has been locked with IFB and Croma (dealer) on 28.01.09 and i received call on 29.01.09 from Croma, intimating that since there are heavy backlog on the part of IFB, hence engineer will visit my place on 29.01.09 at 8 p.m., once again we both manage to reach home before 8 p.m.. but once again no one turned up for demo of microwave.
            we very frustrated to see the behavior and approach of such reputed company like IFB and company like TATA who is selleing product of IFB under banner of CROMA

            IFB is rouge company, consumer should avoid to purchase product of IFB, but is is surprising that CROMA (a TATA subsidiary) is selling product of such disgusting company like IFB. you should immediately approach consumer forum and complaint against IFB as well as CROMA
            i agree and one should take strict action against such poor company who fails to deliver after sale service and harassing consumer, must file complaint against IFB as well as CROMA for cheating in the name of after sale service
            Consumer should beware of purchasing any IFB product, but i am not able to understand why Tata is selling this product under its company CROMA, IFB is running name of CROMA also
            Hello All,

            Below Mail I sent on 27 Spe2010 to IFB but didn't recieved any reply, Even I faced the same problem when my micro wave 30SCR1 is out of order,

            I bought a dishwasher on 25 Sep. 10, Saturday from next and raised the installation request # 5169833 on same day, Customer Care executive told us that the request should be completed within 24 hours. After passing the SLA time (24 hours) I called to customer care and they told that Service Centres are closed on Sunday, so by tomorrow yours complaint should be completed.

            As the IFB service centres are closed on Sunday so I took first half leave on Monday so that my installation will be done and at 10:00 AM I called to IFB Gurgaon Service Centre (Surya Electronics) on[protected], 4080532 talk to Miss Neeraj & Engineer Mr. Ashish and requested to complete my installation before 01:00PM and I told them that I am on half day leave, I have to reach my office at 01:30 PM and need to punch my card otherwise I’ll not get the pay of my second half. They replied that they will complete this before 01:00PM and engineer will reach to yours home within 1 hour but unfortunately at 11:00 AM the engineer didn’t reach me.
            I called again there and ask when he will be in to my house? They replied Sir with in an hour he will be there.
            Again at 12:15 PM I called and asked already 2 hours are passed when should I expect the engineer at my home? They replied that “Sir, we are issuing the accessories to the engineers and he will reach you in half an hour.”

            Unfortunately the Engineer reached to my home at 01:10 PM and completed the demo at 01:45 PM.

            If you feel that the customer time is important then please answer the below questions:

            In NCR 80% couples are working in private MNCs and they have off on Saturday & Sunday, even a survey says that in NCR 70% of shopping is being done on weekends, so why IFB service centres are closed on Sunday? Why not like LG, Sony, Whirlpool, Kent has their weekly off on Monday or Wednesday?
            If your service centres are closed on Sunday and you have lots of calls & load on Monday, so why you are issuing the accessories (parts) to engineers at 12:00 NOON so that he will start the calls at 01:00PM?
            Why the IFB services Centre Engineers are not work after 06:00 PM?
            Who will be responsible for delay of my Dish Washer installation & for my second half off? Who will compensate.

              I had made a complaint to the toll free number on non functioning of the washing machine of IFB make on 21st Jan 009. They gave me the complaint number as 2639794 and promised that the mechanic will call within 48 hours. It has been 7 days and there is no response from any one inspite of reminding them.

              royal service kempapura say bearings for washing machine ifb model t2900dx front loding not avilable in stock even after several complaints and suddnly ask for advance payment even before doing repair saying that it is their policy! on our request to visit replace and then ask for payment after rendering service does not any where . washing machine under breakdown for last one week.
              we had no problem with them in past although major repair work of rs.3500 was carried out in 2007 .payment was made only after doing job and rendering service.

              Dear Sir,
              on 10th March 2009 I lodged a comlaint about my wasing machine against your Ticket No. 2806455.Your Service Engineer visited my house and was more interested in selling the Washing Powder, which he did, instead of attending to the machine.
              He promissed to visit again within 2 to 3 days with part which was to be replaced on Payment Bases.
              We are still waiting for the gentleman to turn up and fix the Machine.
              He was very quick to fool my mother by selling the washing powder but lacked the commitment to resolve the Problem.

              This is not expected from a company like you.You must attend to the needs of your customers who are dependent on you for service.I hope you understand.
              Kindly treat this very seriously and set the machine right otherwise I will be left with no option but to take a firm legal action against you, because I have paid to you for extended warrantty and service while Purchasing this machine.

                Dear sir,

                Iam unfortunate to inform that i Had purchased an IFB microwave 20 litres conventionol
                microwoven on 5/1/09 at Ratna stores, Purasawakkam and was been told that, after purchase
                of microwoven within 48 hours there will be a Demo about how to use . But even after repeated calls
                to the call centres No. 39004321, they are registering and saying that within 24 hrs one person will be comming to your house and give you a Demo.

                But, still i have not been attended for my issue. Today, at call centre When I
                called them they gave me a number of their person [protected] and to ask them to come to my home and give a Demo. But unfurtunately he is not taking his mobile. Either the mobile is ringing or it is engaged.

                Will you be able to send a person or can I find any of them who are using
                unfortunate IFB microwoven users to teach .I had believed my friends words and brought. I
                had made a mistake, that I had not brought whirlpool microwoven. They are giving excellent
                service, Because iam a whirlpool customer having a whirlpool frigde and washing machine .
                Excellent customer support they give.

                Kindly inform about the status of my complaint, so that I can take some action.
                Do not underestimate custmers, because you cannot last without their support.

                  When I asked for the belt to be replaced the chennai IFB service center at vadapalani insist that we should
                  sign an AMC.I said that I do not need an AMC and asked for the part. They refused to sell the spare part and said that they would replace if I pay Rs350 as service charge plus 585 being the cost of spare part namely (Belt).The reason for the complaint is when I talked on the phone the coustmer service operater verified and name the price of the belt as Rs.320.Againg how can a company refuse to supply spares if we can fix it by ourself

                  IFB WASHING MACHINE DIGITAL — Part has to be replaced

                  I live in Andheri(w), MUMBAI.
                  i registered a complain on the 12th(thursday) of june & a technician came on 13th(friday) & said that a part has to be replaced.
                  On 14th(saturday) i got a call from the service center saying that the part has to come from goa(INDIA) & hence will be replaced the following monday which never happened.
                  Ever since i have been making calls almost everyday to the service center & there has been only one answer that they'll get back which never happened till date.

                  IFB executive plus automatic front-loading washing machine — Water leak

                  When the machine is switched on with water tap opened, water drips through the bottom surface of the machine. The clothes in the drum did not get even wet and the usual cycle of operations does not start.

                  This complaint was submitted before the authorities of Kollam at phone number[protected] before one and a half month. An attender came and rectified it as due to the complaint of tub. I am now under the period of AMC. The man came said that the tub can be replaced under AMC whenever it is available. After that there is no one attend this complaint and rectified it. Iagain contacted them several times but of no use. I complainted it to the phone number [protected] at Ernakulam. They give me a ticket number, ie 2478941, but no one attend the complaint. Kindly take necessary steps to rectify the complaint as early as possible.

                  IFB 5 KG EXECUTIVE PLUS — SERVICE ENGINEER NOT ATTENDING THE MACHINE

                  FIRSTLY THE COMPANY ENGINEER GIVES QUOTATION OR RS 3600, AFTER ONE MONTH WHEN MACHINE IS ATTENDED BILLS FOR RS 6100, THEN TELLS US U ARRANGE FOR SPARES AND I WILL SERVICE IT, AND STILL 2 MONTHS GONE STILL MACHINE IS NOT ATTENDED, EVERY TIME WEE CALL HIM ASSURES TO COME, THERE IS A SMS FROM CUSTOMER CARE THAT THE MACHINE IS GOT REPAIRED ARE U SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE, BUT STILL MACHINE IS NOT ATTENDED.

                  IFB / AW 60 - 8061 — Defective part replacement not done

                  Hi, I had logged a complaint on 23rd march I believe but i got a message on 1st April with the complaint no 2881321 and 2nd April I got a message stating that the issue has been fixed and the call is closed. Then I called up the local IFB franchise and engineer came to my home and took the board for replacement since it is under warranty period. But till today there is no proper response from the franchise. I spoke to the Md of that franchise even though no proper response. They are extending the date like the parts will be coming with in two days like that. I totally fed up with the service providing from IFB and I will not go for IFB for future requirement. I never saw such worst service from any vendor. Almost 20days over but still they are extending the days for part replacement. I will wait till Friday 10am if the parts not replaced then i will to consumer court for the said issue.

                  Most of the technicians are unqualified! They try to find fault by replacing parts. The more parts they replace the more commission they get. They are paid 15% per part replaced, so you are at risk of being cheated.

                  IFB — Regarding servicing of senator ifb washng machine

                  i purchased machine from PAtiala 2 years earlier. But i have clalled the srvice centers at Ludjhaian for servicing of the machine and also called the company. But still no response.
                  I had a similar problem with my belt and is also in the AMC currently with IFB. Still the service executive told me to pay Rs. 580 for the belt. I asked for the receipt of that payment so he said he cannot give the receipt. How can you trust about the price of the part if there is no receipt.
                  Also, the part are not avalilable seperately. I think i made a huge mistake of life by purchasing IFB product.
                  Shouldn't they charge me Rs. 320 alone as i am already under the AMC?

                  The shock absorbs are worn out therefore the drum is damaged. I had the same problem but they could not rectify the fault. I replaced it myself!

                  On 28/03/2009, one person introducing himself as service engineer belonging from siemens home appliances (Pvt) Ltd, came in person to install the washing M/c and also to demonstrate the above while opening of the pack before installation, the service engineer saw the top of the washing M/C got damaged due to whatever reasons.

                  The service engineer installed the above and demonstrated how to use the washing M/C despite the piece in damaged condition with the assurance given by him to change the damaged top cover. Till now, the dealer/ Service engineer neither replace the top cover nor replace washing M/C.

                  Meanwhile, I approached the dealer several times regarding replacing the washing M/C but ended in vain.

                  Therefore, I request you necessary arrangements may be made to replace the washing M/C at the earliest.

                  Your kind co-operation in this matter is highly solicited, unless favorable to me I will go to consumer court.

                  Washing machine is under the AMC, made a complaint on 5.7.09 ticket no 3219248 which was attended on 7.7.09. I was told that motor is to be replace since it is not working, from that day till this day I am everyday calling the service centre and is been told that the motor is not available. And there is only one mobile Number given by the service centre which is always not available.

                  ifb, — not working while on the swith

                  i have purchased the washing machine two years back on 6th Dec 2007. it is not used till last month. Three weeks back i check it to start the machine, it is ready to work and after four days it is not working what is it's problem
                  My AMC No.0027214 ICR NO.33516/28.02.09. My complaints was
                  1.Noise in the drum when it rotates anticlock wise
                  2.Not functioning of regulator.

                  After made several requests that too after a month, they attended.

                  The regulator was replaced. I was told that the noise will not be there since the regulator was replaced. But then the noise is there evenafter. I followed the representatives. They were told that the service agency is changed but till date even after a lapse of 3 months there is no response.

                  More over customer could not able to fix on saturdays/sundays as the door is locked in the regular working days in the case of both are employed.

                  Special attention may be given to the requests of, where both of them are working.

                  Still the drum noise is there. IFB may depute its rep. for rectification.

In one visit, he attended partly and conveyed that some part needs to be changed. Again numerous phone reminders but reply of part not received due to some audit. Committments made and broken again and again. Coming Tuesday , Friday, Next week and so on ..............

                  I'm also facing the same problem with IFB Washing machine. I've lodged a complaint on[protected] and am yet to receive a response. The mart people are also not responsive. The customer care executive at Reliance Mart is not even willing to give me the contact details of the representative from IFB. I really wonder how such a reputed brand can be so indifferent towards customer complaints.
                  Instead of going by the brand, I now feel that it is always wise to choose a brand after checking the availability of service centres in the vicinity. Else we may have to face such problems, irrespective of the brand.

                  The same irritating customer care by IFB, they don't give the price of the spares, they don't give the spares, they don't give the address of their distribution office. They send people to loot. I doubt whether is there any sense in buying IFB.
                  Sorry for the long story but worth reading if you are going to buy IFB. This is on both the Speed Control Board & Soinoid valve on 2 nos of Senorita Plus purchased within a span of 2 yrs. You might be thinking I am a fool to do so. But I learnt the lesson the hard way.

                  Firstly I had a problem with the solinoid valve. Service engineer attended within a week to see what happened. He said that Solinoid valve(The automative valve for the water inlet) needs replacement. To my surprise this happened within months after the warranty(I am surprised because exactly the same problem I encountered with another machine of the same model in my uncles house). They say he valve the service charge togather would cost you around Rs. 800(This happened more than 1.5 yrs ago, sorry if the price is wrong). However he said he will bring the part and fix it. The service engineer never turned up even after many call to him or his manager(I struggled a lot to get this phone number). Finally when I contated the manager, he said that there is no stock. This went on for 5~6 weeks and always the same reply.

                  After waiting for so long, as the valve was normally open and it not closing automatically, I was using the water connection by ensuring the water supply manually. This was working and one day I noticed a spark with some noice and the machine stopped.

                  I registed another complain in addition to my existing one to attend to this. This time the service engineer took few weeks but came back with the solinoid valve. However he told that the Speed control board is now burnt and needs replacement and it costs me Rs. 1600+service charges. I was really frustrated and asked him to leave my machine as is and go.

                  I am a mechanical engineer by profession. I did some study with the help of my friends and leart that one relay is burnt aling with small amount of the track on the speed control circuid board. At the end Lot of Hard work to investigate the problem it costed me Rs.25 + the soldering charges(I gave 100/- as he did a good job on the damaged track).

                  I know every one can not do the hardwork I did, but everyone can easily understand the difference between Rs. 25 & Rs. 1600/-.

                  I wish all the good luck to those who by anything from IFB.

                  IFB Washing machine/Elite 5 kg — Machine not working even after changing motor

                  I made complaint to IFB call centre on March 14, 2010 for my washing machine/ELITE 5 kg which was not drying clothes. It was attended next day and person informed that motor has to be replaced. He changed the motor today and I also got one year AMC done and paid all together a whopping Rs 6643/- (Rs 4216/- for motor) for both. But the same problem still persists. Machine is not drying the clothes even now and one more problem has been added after this motor replacement that it has started making mysterious noise. This mechanic came form SURYA ELECTRONICS (An authorized IFB service provider). Now I sincerely doubt whether that person caught the fault at all or just unnecessarily changed my motor which has costed me so huge. Motor might have been ok and there might have been some other fault. I am trying SURYA 's telephone number but no number seems to work; whether it is a landline or a mobile.

                  I feel helpless and disgusted and dont know what to do so that problem is solved without any further agony to me

                  i am also one of the IFB victims from Mumbai.
                  i own wash machine sinorita since 3 years. and from month one the machine started giving trouble.though the machine was under annual maintainance contract for two years; some major parts had be replaced quiet a couple of times. For the third year i declined the fruitless and pathetic AMC offer.
                  my grief is same as others. IFB"S SERVICE AND THEIR POOR PRODUCT. its pathetic. while lodging complaint once out of other numerous times i had also heard an excuse in rude and blunt tone at 3 pm that "i am having lunch, call later". After which the call went unanswered over and over again.This is a kind of profeciency IFB has while handling the complaints.
                  i feel as troubled consumers we must flood the IFB email box with our complaints as well. i have no clue if any IFB personnel is sorting these complaints at consumercomplaints.in
                  My advice would be get rid of this self-bought trouble named IFB wash machine somehow, and switch over to another brand with a good service. unless their sales get affetcted company is not going to wake up.

                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — no replacement of required spare part

                  I put in a complaint about a bad noise in my machine and the mechanic came on Thurs 15th April. He promised to come the next day with the required spare part .

                  Today is Monday the 19th and I am still waiting after having made 2 more complaints. I finally got the phone nbr of the Vadapalani office(Chennai) and spoke to a Ms Radhika who promised to get back asap.

                  At 10.30 a Mr Velu called me back(The first return call from IFB) and gave me a long story about how the part has to come from Goa!! Finally after I had shouted a lot , I got another number of a Mr Saravanan who has now said someone will come by 3pm. All this has happened because I yelled and screamed over the phone at various people and who knows if someone will really come? In my 65 years, I have not had to do so much yelling. Tell me what exactly you mean by CUSTOMER CARE?
                  I am unable to get a service station in Assam. When I called up the IFB consuler helpline they gave me two disfunctional numbers. They never had one for Guwahati. They gave one for Dibrugarh and they gave me a another mobile number for their office in Kolkata. The mobile never worked. Why sell when you can't service???!!!

                  Infact I have always had problem in Hyderabad AP as well. They never return the So called worn out part and claim damadges worth half the cost of the machine.

                  I had purchased IFB Front loaded Digital- 7Kg. washing machine on 02/01/2008 from Reliance Retail Ltd. Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Its article code is Fan Code:[protected].

                  I have extended warranty of the said Washing Machine from 02/01/2010 to 01/01/2012 vide card Sr.No.13318.
                  My genuine complain is non locking of door. I had complained to your call centre on 29/09/2010 vide complain no:5178072. Call centre had given promise to attend complain within 24 hrs.

                  After several reminders & follow up to call centre, a technician Mr. Desai from Vaibhav Electronics had attended on 06/10/2010 & Found door switch is to be replaced. He promised to change as early as possible. I waited for two to three days & again remind to call centre team leader. He replied that he had put urgent massage.

                  I would like to explain with great sorrow that not a single time the number 30002153, 30005412/13 & [protected], given by call centre, was responding. Personally my son had visited three times at Vaibhav Electronics, for non-compliance of complain. They have referred IFB Service centre, Ahmedabad. Personally my son had visited the same. Also, on Phone no: 30189467, I had talked with Girishbhai of IFB Service centre, Ahmedabad on 13/10/2010. He, after confirmation with his service Executive- Yogita Madam, promised me that the technician had already been allotted the task to solve your complain today only. Technician Shri Gulab Jaishwal had visited my home & said that he belongs to different agency & for spare it will take three- four more days. I again dialed to Girishbhai & mention the details then he turned his stand that he had not given promise to change the pants.

                  Sir, till writing this I have no solution. Daily I have to pay Rs.50/- for washing the clothes. In addition we feel great harassment. Why I should not file legal suit against your company for harassment?

I am happy to find from the official site of IFB abiut the service charge to be paid in different locations based on the status of the city.I appreciate the concerned for publishing it.As IFB is the Popular and pioneer brand in the frontloaded machines, many may be looking for replacement of the spares due to ageing.Hence it is the high time to publish the actual price of the various spares and list of the stores with address.
                  I am also a victim who lost huge money due to the wrong handling of the machine during the service by the service technician.I informed the service technician about the excess sound due to the damaged bush of the motor.he came and replaced the bush and after the service when we started the machine with load we observe water is leaking from drum.Whiile removing the fixing bolt of the motor he could have damaged the drum by his bad workmanship.Now I am helpless and want to replace the whole setup with huge cost for the spare.If the mange ment is interested in customer care kindly take immediate steps to improve the after sales service with moderate charges and making available of the spares at reasonable price..

The cost of belt is Rs.580. IFB should redeem their rules and policies. Customers should be flexible to get spare parts as if they require.

                  I had to call up the service agency for nearly two weeks repeatedly to get them attened my problem. The technical who came replaced the rubber belt and billed me Rs. 650 for that, i really don't know this part cost that much! and after that he told me that the machine has to be descaled and I agreed. For descaling he charged me another Rs.750 .When asked, he told me that he had used 5 packets of descaling powder costing rs. 150 each. I feel that the service agents are capitalizing on customer's ignorance..!

                  IFB - Senator Washing Machine — Non supply of spares and parts (belt)

                  Dear sir,
                  I purchased one washing machine of IFB-Senetor from M/s Union Radios, Jhansi on 03.10.2011. The dealers (M/s Union Radios and AMC dealer Mr. Mubeen Khan Jhansi) of the company have not attended my complain regarding repair and maintenance of the washing machine after expiry of the AMC on 03.10.2008. As such I got the washing machine repaired from the local market. Now the dealer and representative of the company M/s Bharat have denied to supply the belt required for repairing of the washing machine which not readily available in the market. As a result my washing machine remains out of order since last one month. I made several complaint with the dealers of the company and representative of the company. None of them have responded more than one month passed. I also complained on company website on 08,09 & 11.11.2011. But no fruitful result achieved till date. I request you to kindly intervene into the matter and take remedial action at your end.

                  IFB WM Executive Plus automatically water in while machine ON/OFF and some time water pump not working.
                  My Mother-in-law had purchased a washing machine from IFB 2 years before. We used it only for 3 - 5 months and when my moth-in-law had cancer, my wife had moved to her house and for 1 and half years she did not use the washing machine. Now the water inlet value does not work and I had called the guy 2 months back. IFB guy came and estimated the cost to be Rs.1500/- plus service charge. I had asked him to go ahead with it, but untill now there is no response form IFB. The most stupidest service ever. My cousin has also similar exprience with IFB front loading. The quality is so bad that after warrenty period we have to chenge every spare. now in 4 years she has changed everything, even the cabin.

                  I would strongly recommend that we need to raise this concern in the cunsumer court and stop such brands from our country. Make customer satisfaction important like in US/UK or any other country.

                  Washing Machine — need parts

                  i need a door for whirlpool professional pud651 washing machine. I searched more than 3 districts still i didn't found.May i know where can i get it?

                  I have one IFB Elina purchased on 2004. It was used for 1 year and kept unused for 3 years. On 4th year when I have started every thing was ok . after using fo 6 months, it has given some problem that suddenly it was stopping while running, then we have to switch off for 30 minutes to start again. I have contacted the service center, they responded and sent the person. The person told the motor, circuit board, sock-absober are damaged, and it will cost 5000. I have checked with him to change only circuit board and try. He has not agreed. He has given one suggestion to go for 3 year amc for 5000 so that he can repair it in free of cost. I choosed the 2nd option. After paying for AMC, they have replaced the circuit board only. Now the machine is running fine for last 2 years. Regarding AMC no person contacted or not yet turned up till today for regular checkup or service.

                  I do not know what I should do if there will be some problem, I may have to pay more.

                  I own a Senator for the past five years. First and foremost, IFB customer service sucks. I am an electronic engineer by profession and I understand what might go wrong in a circuit. Not more than 50/- bucks part for which IFB charges 1500/- + service charges. Their technicians are no more than highschool grads. They fit old parts. When asked, they say Senator is out of market and so parts were purchased a long time back and so they look old. Absolute nonsense. In the past one year I have spent 15000/- rupees to get my perfectly working machine repaired. Firstly the motor went off. Then the belt. Then the seal rubber. Then the shock absorbers. Then the MCU. The door lock. And finally unbelievable, the Gear Board. Apart from the body, there is nothing left to change. Now I cannot sell the machine as no one would offer me more than 2000/- bucks and I have spent more than the price of the machine. I would not recommend IFB to anyone. They have completly lost their brand.
                  I have a similar experience where my ifb washing machine stopped working. I called the technician and I was told that the speed control board is damaged and needs to be replaced. He said it ill cost 5500. He brought new board but failed to show me MRP for the same. I came to know that the board actually cost 1500. This is the height of nonsense charges that do and completely make fool of the customer .. There is absolutely no transparency and trust. The IFB call center itself is not very helpful. Guys if you are reading this please be vary of the fraud practices which is giving IFB a very bad name.
                  I have a similar experience where my ifb digital 6 kg washing machine stopped working. i called the ifb technician he came and check the machine & say that speed control board + balancing + doors lock is not working all parts is replace this cost is 5600/- this parts warranty is 6 months . + 2 yrs amc is 6500/- total cost is 11000/- this is very high charges .I tell the guy that i buy such costly machine. then why such machine is stop working . he say that you buy as costly as . then pay as much as. & this machine is not as good as other.if we buy so costly machine . & we thing that machine is working properly but end of day every people is same .
                  I have a bad experience with IFB. The water did not drain from the machine. I complained to customer support and two support technicians visited next day. Before checking the machine, they said that the drain motor has to be replaced. I asked them to check first and then suggest solutions. Within few minutes, they found a socks in the drain pipe. The total service time is less than 5 min and they charged me Rs.400. Though it was my mistake that I should have checked properly, charging this much for no service is a pathetic support from IFB.

                  Today the water was not coming to the detergent box. I opened the machine myself and found the problem is in one of the water inlet valve. I swapped the inlet power connections as a temporary fix to get water in detergent box. I can replace the valve myself but I fear that I may not find the replacement in retail shops. Definitely I am not going to loose my hard earned money to worthless service.
                  I am using ifb Elena since last 3 years.i have used this machine hardly for 10 times in 3 years.Machine had a problem recently.i had booked a complained.Technician came to my house & asked for guarantee card & receipt.I did not get the receipt at home.Technician has refused to give service unless we pay service charge & spare part money.i am sure company has all record about manufacturing & when it sold to dealer & customer.How ever just trouble the customer they don't give service.I have many other product from L.G .Samsung where i never had such type of problem from them.
                  I feel customer should not buy product if company refuse to give service or spare parts with proper receipt.

Machine had a problem so I called IFB service center (Laxmi Nagar delhi) to see the issue, after examine the person said you need to change shoker's and gear box as both are worn out, I asked for the cost of same for which he replied to be 8000/-Rs. I have just check online the price of same new machine is Rs 12250/-.
                  How this is possible.

                  I feel people should buy such product whose spare parts are too costlier.

                  i have a fully automatic washing machine i bought couple of months ago, since day one we are face some or other problem, some times the pipe through which the water should go in is not working, or our cloths are getting torn, when we went to buy this machine we were said by the shopkeeper that in case of any problem we can call him and let him know the problem and he would send some one to fix the problem, that is what was going on so far, but as of now even he has been overlooking our problems, when i got this machine i wanted a machine to help me and not to give me headache or stress,

                  We bought the elena washing machine for 4 years ago and it went faulty frequently.
                  Every time the service person changed some parts and collected more that 1.5K every time from my parants(Happend 4 times)
                  It went faulty again and the service person says there is fault in the timer which costs 3912 rupees.
                  No clue what to do.

                  Spare parts cost is very high and we don't no the sparepart condition when ever we called the service engineer every time he change the any one of the part related to the machine I buyed this mavhine(eLENA model) ON SEP 2008 till now i spend the repair cost and descaling cost nerarly 6000rs.Currently another repair is going on expected cost is 1600rs.

                  If this is the case I plan to resale or through the machine and by new machine with another manufacturer.

                  bad experiance with IFB regarding the spare parts and AMC if AMC is there why should we pay for spare parts cost for such a small period of 6years . that showes the manufacturer have no confidence of their spares like soilnoid valves and other rubber parts which are not effect the over load . If motor fail we can ubderstant that may the mistake of the end user but solinoid valves and rubber parts not relat to over load.

                  I have been using IFB senorita plus model for the past 8 years.Last week i had a problem with the drum and registered
                  a complaint with the customer care.Next day a guy came from the service centre and told me that i have to take amc so that the cost of the spare parts would be less and he estimated the cost as 7500 including the amc.He took 4000 from me to cover the amc and advance for the parts, i got it changed after a week and number of calls.Finally after changing the drum, bearing and the rubber sleeve the mechanic gives me a bill for 3500 which does not mention the rates of individual parts or the service charges and i got to know from the mechanic that the cost of spare parts are covered by amc only after 20 days, then why did i have to take an amc now????...I know i have been duped n when i asked for the receipt for the amount i had given in advance he spoke to that guy and just added that amount also to that billl...ridiculous...

                  I have worst experience with IFB service personnel who tried to cheat me for adding water filter and drum cleaning powder for 1800 Rs. I got it done for 450 Rs for Water filter and 40 Rs for drum cleaning powder.

                  IFB has the worst service in India especially in Bangalore. The Franchisee, Shivashakthi Enterprise who is authorized to perform the service requests are just the kind of people which no customer would like to encounter with. Such a pathetic service, that over the phone itself they deliver the judgement and has the rudest of the behaviors. I have bout a 7KG direct drive washing machine that costed Rs.35, 000/- last year. It's been just 12 months and the washing machine has developed a hole with a crack at the bottom of the Tub. The service technician made a vague statement that it's becase of the Rat bite. Examining the hole which is a Triangle with a taper and crack on the tub, looks like it's basically might have happend during transportation when the machine was delivered or installed at my home. Post the installation, neither the machine was moved nor there are any Rat/mouse inside our house :-). I had bought washing machine, A cloths drier and a Convection Microwave all from IFB, thinking that it's good... But now I am repenting. The drier's saftey switch becomes active very often. The IFB does not have any answer to that nor they are trying to fix it. For the Washing machine crack they are asking me to pay Rs.7000/- to fix because they are assuming something which is not real and the franchisee guy is saying he has already spent Rs.7 Lakhs to fix the problem for other customers that's why he does not want to fix my problem...Hillarious... No idea when the Microwave will be out of service, given that both the primary machines are out of service. It's been more than 10 days since I logged the Problem request. And the IFB does not have any seriousness to fix nor they have the technical know how to fix it. I advise all the customers to refrain buying IFB products.

                      This is one of the worst washing machine that i have ever seen. I have brought a IFB Senator washing machine on 2001 and after 2 years it started giving me one complaint after another, I spend around[protected] Rs on the washing machine every year on 14/09/07 I ve have replaced my motor with a brand new one and now the motor is not working, things like the motor have life for just one year this a very bad scene, no choice was left to me I had to replace the motor and Curcuit board for very hefty price, i make sure that this will be my last IFB product and this will be my word of mouth

                        dear sir,i have given the complaint on 4-08-11 through your customer care,one person came attend the fault but he have not attended,again i gave the complaint that no :6908868,id: 2334297,
                        again one person visit my house but he is not attended the problem,so again i informed to customer care officer he gave another complaint no:6930141,
                        my machine under warranty model AW60-8062 S.R.No:[protected],please sir attend my washing machine problem

                            I got IFB MicroWave Oven 1 year back, I was not able to cook cake, I complaint to servie centre,

                            They came from service centre, and heated a potato and said Oven is fine and our method of cooking is

                            Wrong. After that we cooked many times, cake was happening properly, so left it unused.

                            After 14 months compliant again and told them to cook a cake and show, ( One of my IFB retailer recommeded to do so) then he sent one lady from service centre to cook cake, finally after cooking he confirmed that Oven is fault. He took the oven from place on 1/10/2008, till date I didn't receive any call from him, he said some spare has to come, Oneday in anger I told him just you have our machine with yourself, I will think that I have gifted something to IFB. After that he didn't turnback at all.

                            I will not buy any IFB product in lifetime, I have wasted 13000/- on a oven.

                            Poor service ever seen IFB products not recommended
                            dear sir
                            don't waste your money to buy IFB products, its my own experience, bcaz i have wasted 25, 000 for buy IFB washing machine Model no Digital 5.5 Kg,

                            1.product is not good
                            2.poor customer service
                            i want to buy ifb 7 kg washine machine give suggestion and address to buy in trichy tamil nadu
                            I totally agree, the after sales service is pathetic. I believe it is not just with IFB, it is the same with whirlpool air conditioners.
                            All the MNC's give us a customer care no where a BPO registers a complaint and the same is forwarded to MNC chosen authorised service centre, these service centres employ third grade, poorly motivated invidiuals whose knows head or tail of what he is doing and assumes all customers are and try take advantage.

                            Never ever go for a AMC, its a gimic.

                              IN SPITE OF LODGING SEVERAL COMPLAINTS, COMPANY WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR THE MACHINE PROPERLY. THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT YET EXPIRED. ILL RESPONSE FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE TODAY. DID NOT SEND A SERVICE PERSONNEL ALTHOUGH COMMITED TO DO SO AND COMPELLING ME TO send the machine to their branch office to repair it although they have come two to three times but not yet solved my problem and the banch manager and service manager do not talk proplerly list of comlpains
                              1- MADE COMPLAINT ON TOLL FREE NO ABOUT THE WATER LEAKAGE PROBLEM IN IFB SENATOR WAHSING MACHING. DUE TO WATER LEAKAGE, M/SC IS NOT GETTING S/W ON. ITS UNDER AMC.

                              dear sir,
                              I had place an order for getting stand and cover of ifb elena (5kg) model on 5 April 2009 but till to date i did not get that. so many times i have asked for it to the service provider named Vikas and he just saying that the order will fulfill by him as early as possible. so i placed complaint to ifb cust.care
                              my complaint no. is 310859 but it is also useless. there is need to provide proper services to customer.
                              ifb washing machine's water outlet hose pipe cover in the front of the machine is broke by your service executive, now the water is leaking from that outlet i tried calling the call centre from 3 days they are not responding to the compliant made the customer id no.2780677 its still in warranty but they are telling to pay for the part that is damaged by your side, there is sticker mentioning 4 years 100% warranty please do the needful soon as possible

                                I bought the machine on 24th January 2007. I took an extended warranty upto 23/01/2011. We have repeatedly complained that the machine does not drain out the water on completion of the spin dry cycle and the clothes come out sopping wet. The IFB technician comes & superficially looks at the machine, blames everything innocuous like too much powder, wrong powder etc. We are then made to buy soap powder, protecta etc from him but following his instructions does not solve the problem. The problem repeats after two wash cycles.

                                I think IFB must replace the defective machine & maintain their reputation. If not, I will be left with no choice but to approach the consumer courts and/or media and highlight my plight.

                                Their service is pathetic, i booked a complaint on 1st march and problem was sorted on 2nd march and i put amc also, then two weeks later, machine stopped working, on 17.03.2016 i made complaint and no one came, i made repeated phone calls to their customer care and spoke politely as i could but lost my temper today morning 30.03.2016 and lamblasted the ifb agent for their pathetic and shoddy service and threatened to sue them, technician came and sorted the issue out today itself...

                                So u scream and nag at them, then only they will do their jobs...

                                  My IFB washing machine is covered under AMC valid upto 1-3-2009. I made a complaint to the Chandigarh office about five days back. Some person from the company came the next day and told that some component has to be changed. He promised to repair/ change the component on the comming day. Despite my repeated telephones to your office at Chandigarh and assurances given by the person attending the calls, no body has come to repair the machine. I do not know the reasons for the delay. If there is some problem then I should be informed so that some alernative arrangements could be made. Negligence and carelessness on the part of your office has been causing great incovenience and avoidable expenditure on the washing of cloths in the washing shop for which you company is responsible.                                   Re: Replacement of highly defective Washing Machine Model Diva (Customer ID 3222271)

                                  Sir,

                                  I purchased IFB washing machine Model Diva on 14th January 2012 after strong recommendations from my friends and relatives. Presently, I am highly aggrieved with the quality and reliability of the washing machine as mentioned above.

                                  The said washing machine is not giving me any service and utility of any standard. The clothes remain dirty even after washing them twice and thrice. It gives blasting sound many a times during the washing operation. It also vibrates too much while in operation and goes away from its starting position. In many cases, it went away by about 5-6 feet from its starting position. In spite of the visit of your service engineers visiting my place on my complaints dated[protected]Complaint No. 8822148) and[protected]Complaint No. 8916204), the machine continued to give some or the other functional problem and one could not rely on its functional efficacy/consistency.

                                  To my disgust, your service engineer who visited last time informed me that the machine has got deep scratches inside the body of the machine. He also informed me that there appeared to be some problem with the wash tub. You would kindly appreciate the amount of confidence I can now have on the washing machine.

                                  Now for the last about one month I have been in regular touch with the service centre but of no avail. My complaint No. 8934683 dated 29th May 2012 has not even been attended till date and surprisingly, your service centre also does not even inform me whether they would be able to correct


                                  the machine to function trouble free. This kind of a service from IFB, at least I cannot believe.

                                  In this background I am left as a highly dissatisfied customer and have lost total confidence to rely on this piece of machine. I, therefore, request you to kindly provide me a replacement of the machine: if possible top load machine. Should you feel for me to make a payment of difference in price, if any, I shall do the needful on hearing from you.

                                  I believe you would not shake my confidence any further of my reliance on your big name in the washing machine industry and as marketing ethics should dictate, provide me a replacement of the washing machine most expeditiously. Hoping for a positive and a prompt response.

                                    I purchased a Microwave Oven in the first week of November, 2008 from m/s Sahu Agencies Pvt Ltd. Lucknow. Since last about 20 days the Oven is not working and thus the complaint was lauched through available mobile no. [protected] who guided us to a new mobile no. after waiting for 10 days and the person available on the new no. gave us one more mobile no. of some lady officer whose mobile was put off for hours together.
                                    If this is the service provided by a company like IFB then we our sorry to say that all the claims publisised through Media for selling your product are false. If our product is not replce/rectified with in next two days I will be forced to lauched a complain in Consumer Forum.

IN SEPTEMBER 2008 I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE AND ALSO WITH THE LOCAL IFB SERVICE CENTRE REGARDING MALFUNCTIONING OF THE OVEN. THE CALL WAS ATTENDED AFTER 0NE MONTH IN OCTOBER AND SOME MINOR REPAIR WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE OVEN AGAIN RESURFACED IN JANUARY 2009 AND SINCE THEN I HAVE LODGED ALMOST 10 COMPLAINTS TO YOUR LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AT RAIPUR AND ALSO TO YOUR CALL CENTRE AND THE COMPLAINT STILL REMAINS UNATTENDED. MY COMPLAINT REFERENCE IS 2136927 WHICH I GOT FROM YOUR CALL CENTRE 2 MONTHS BACK. I REGRET YOU ARE SHOWING TOTAL DISRESPECT TO A CUSTOMER CALL AND PROBABLY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT ATTENDING TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. TODAY AT 3.40 PM I CONTACTED YOUR CALL CENTRE AND TO MY UTTER DISMAY THE CALL WAS DELIBERATELY DISCONNECTED. PRIOR TO THAT THE SERVICE ENGINEER CLEARLY INDICATED THAT HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT. THIS IS REALLY A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS AT IFB. NOW I AM PLANNING TO SEND BACK MY MACHINE BACK TO YOUR HEAD OFFICE THROUGH COURIER SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP IT IN THE ARCHIVE FOR SHOWING TO YOUR FUTURE CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE POOR QUALITY OF YOUR PRODUCTS AS WELL AS UR USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                                      The following is the complaint I made through IFB Home Appliances Website and it reads as follows:

                                      I have purchased DIVA model washing machine (Product Code could be WT DIVW DV11I004222) two years back. Model number of the same being 000422 and date of purchase is 3rd Oct 2006. I have used IFB Machine earlier also which gave me 10 years of service. That forced me to purchase another IFB of above make. It is just crossed two years and already broken down three times. Recently we had a problem as the machine was absolutely not functioning. We gave a complaint to the service station. They took their own sweet time of 3 weeks to attend. After following it up repeatedly, a service person came and inspected the machine. He said that stator winding has gone and motor has to be replaced. He says that motor costs Rs 6, 300/-. It is sheer nonsense that a motor costs Rs 6, 300/- where as the complete machine cost Rs 10, 000/-. The service people are looting us and I am sure that rewinding of the motor may not cost between Rs 500 to Rs 1000. It is really shocking to see a company of IFB repute to produce the product of such inferior quality which gave many troubles within two years itself. We have taken all the precautions of overloading, stability of the machine etc and we used another machine for 10 years and we are aware of the usage. Keeping this in view, I request you to replace the motor free of cost. I am sure the cost of Ts 6, 300/- is an absurd and cheating. if my complaint is not serviced and settled properly, probably I may have to advise and advocate to all my known contacts to not to purchase IFB Machine. Hope that I receive your feedback to my above email id.

                                      WE HAVE A MICROWAVE CONVENTION OVEN OF IFB. ITS IN SERVICE CONTRACT WITH IFB SINCE THE 21ST OF AUGUST 2008. IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER WE HAD COMPLAINED THAT THE MACHINE IS NOT WORKING WHICH WAS INJSPECTED AND THEN COLLECTED BY THEM. SINCE THEN THEY DONT PICK UP OUR CALLS OR RESPOND BACK WHEN FORCE CONTACTED. WE HOPE THE FORUM WILL TRY TO GUIDE US AND HELP US IN GETTING US COMPENSATION AND A BLACK MARK TO THE COMPANY..

Delhi 09-10 A-56, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1 New Delhi, vide Bill No. DEL/NTS/0681/09-10 dated 15.05.2009 and Bill No. DEL/NTS/0682/09-10dated 15.05.2009 of Rs. 22680/- each (Total Rs. 45360/-).
                                      We have paid Rs. 50000/- in favor your company through a Inter SOL cheque of PNB SB a/c of Mr. R. Subramania Kumar.
                                      At the time of delivery of washing machine at our residance it was informed the balance amount of Rs. 4640/- will be returned to us through an account payee cheque.
                                      Till date we have not received the aforesaid amount despite our repeated reminders to your office and sales representative.
                                      Please let us know the fate of amount not returned to us. How this amount has been appropriated in your books ? PLease arrange to return us the same.

                                      I had purchased an IFB Digital 6 Kg washing machine serial number[protected] on 10 Aug 2009.On 15 May 2010,due to the faulty working of the washing machine my son suffered second degree burns and scalding of both feet and right forearm and was admitted in hospital for 10 days.I was also injured in the left foot in the same accident. I registered complaint on 18/05/10. Subsequently engineers from authorised service centre checked the machine but could not find any fault.However, they changed a part related to thermostat settings.
                                      Subsequently on 28 Aug 10,during the wash cycle of the machine the door automatically opened.I lodged complaint no. 5013797 with customer care deptt of IFB. An engineer visited again and informed that some electronic board had gone faulty and replaced it. However, the machine malfunctioned again and the door opened on its own which is a big risk. A complaint was lodged again (Complaint No. 5113158) for which the service agency sent another 'repaired' board to be replaced.However, I denied saying that since the machine is repeatedly malfunctioning, the same should be REPLACED. No action was taken. Today, i.e. 28 Sep 10, the machine malfunctioned again THRICE when the door opened on its own and thereafter the working has also stalled. I contacted IFB customer care who said that complaint number 5113158 is still open. I also tried to contact the service head of Delhi (Okhla) branch (tele no.[protected], Mr Sanjay (Mobile no. [protected]), Ms Pallavi (Mobile no. [protected]) but was unable to get in touch with them. I contacted Ms Monika (Mobile number [protected]) at Okhla and explained my problem to which she promised to call back but it was to no effect. All subsequent efforts to contact Ms Monika were futile as the mobile was switched off deliberately after one call got through with her.
                                      It is evident that there is a MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER related problem with the machine which even the engineers are unable to pin-point. Also since the machine is fully automatic and has the capability to run at high temperatures up to 95 degrees Celsius (which is near boiling point of water), the fault which makes the front door open while in the wash cycle is extremely dangerous to the life and limb of my family members. I have already suffered earlier when such hot water came pouring down on my son's feet and burnt them. His scars are a VALID proof of the same.In spite of conveying the grave danger and request to change the machine, the same is falling on deaf ears and time and again I'm being coerced into accepting repairs which are not alleviating the main problem.Since the machine is under WARRANTY and has now malfunctioned SEVERAL times, I feel that the company should do the justice of replacing the same at the earliest with a new machine of the same model/make. I therefore request you to initiate necessary action in this regard.

                                      Washing Machine — Cheque not yet received

                                      Dear Sir/Madam
                                      We were contacted by M/s Godrej and Boyce to exchange our old washing macine for new washing machine. We were told that after our old wachine is checked up the amount will be refunded for the old machine. also since the old washing machine was in a contract period of eight months for service this amount will also be refunded. Application numbers are 11157 dated 14/4/2011 and 1220757 dated 18/11/2009 under THe name Meenakshi Ambasankaran. Residence telephone number is 25529019. After repeated TElephone calls to Mr Ravindaran and Mrs Sonali the amount has not been cleared. At the time of buying the new machine we were told the amount would be cleared within 15 days but has not yet been cleared.
