[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — spare parts

I am a proud ownwer of IFB senorita plus which was working smoothly for the last 9 yrs.
After going through all the complaints, i feel pity on the company's after sales division. The following suggestions are given below for the consideration of IFB Management which may surely rebuild the transparency of the cost of the spares and service charge. I am happy to find from the official site of IFB abiut the service charge to be paid in different locations based on the status of the city.I appreciate the concerned for publishing it.As IFB is the Popular and pioneer brand in the frontloaded machines, many may be looking for replacement of the spares due to ageing.Hence it is the high time to publish the actual price of the various spares and list of the stores with address.
I am also a victim who lost huge money due to the wrong handling of the machine during the service by the service technician.I informed the service technician about the excess sound due to the damaged bush of the motor.he came and replaced the bush and after the service when we started the machine with load we observe water is leaking from drum.Whiile removing the fixing bolt of the motor he could have damaged the drum by his bad workmanship.Now I am helpless and want to replace the whole setup with huge cost for the spare.If the mange ment is interested in customer care kindly take immediate steps to improve the after sales service with moderate charges and making available of the spares at reasonable price..

IFB machines are good, if you are lucky to get a good piece, but if you need IFB after sales service, i can assure you, its very expensive, opaque and useless.
Question is, which company has good after sales service, because i would rather buy a more expensive machine, as long as the after sales service is first class.

The same complaint, i was in need of belt for my senorita plus and there is no other problem with my machine, IFB care is asking us to pay service charge Rs.300 + tax. The cost of belt is Rs.580. IFB should redeem their rules and policies. Customers should be flexible to get spare parts as if they require.

service under AMC is pathetic!

I had to call up the service agency for nearly two weeks repeatedly to get them attened my problem. The technical who came replaced the rubber belt and billed me Rs. 650 for that, i really don't know this part cost that much! and after that he told me that the machine has to be descaled and I agreed. For descaling he charged me another Rs.750 .When asked, he told me that he had used 5 packets of descaling powder costing rs. 150 each. I feel that the service agents are capitalizing on customer's ignorance..!

If IFB is good, then all their product must be good. No point in saying if theres luck we get a good piece !!!

I dont think the executives who turn up to our homes are genuine as they give different rates and to my surprise even the customer support team support them !

I purchase a IFB washing machine on 20/01/2010 from kollam dealer maxel agencies .one o[censored]r service enginneer come and give all the instruction and he diidnt set the ratmesh .Last two months the machine is not working I complaint to ur service centre many times he diidnt respont finally he come and say the machine rub is damaged there no warranty of that one .tommorrow i give a complaint to consumer court about this to compensation

I have IFB Senator fr loading machine. Few days before it started giving sound during spinning. I stopped the machine & called the service man. He said that I need to change the bearing . It was ok. But when he opened the machine & removed the bearing, he asked me to change the drum as the shaft was wornout & it will cost 3000 for drum & 2000 for bearing plus taxes & service charge. ?????????????

have taken the machine to their workplace,and returned it on 04/09/2011,collected Rs500 towards transport
charges,stating that the machine was completely repaired.To our surprise the Machine was in as is where
was condition.When we tried to contact them over phone they have stopped answering the call.
When we approach customer care centre we receive a rotine reply ' WE WILL SEND OUR SENIOR MOST TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATELY.'

IFB - Senator Washing Machine — Non supply of spares and parts (belt)

Dear sir,
I purchased one washing machine of IFB-Senetor from M/s Union Radios, Jhansi on 03.10.2011. The dealers (M/s Union Radios and AMC dealer Mr. Mubeen Khan Jhansi) of the company have not attended my complain regarding repair and maintenance of the washing machine after expiry of the AMC on 03.10.2008. As such I got the washing machine repaired from the local market. Now the dealer and representative of the company M/s Bharat have denied to supply the belt required for repairing of the washing machine which not readily available in the market. As a result my washing machine remains out of order since last one month. I made several complaint with the dealers of the company and representative of the company. None of them have responded more than one month passed. I also complained on company website on 08,09 & 11.11.2011. But no fruitful result achieved till date. I request you to kindly intervene into the matter and take remedial action at your end.

The writer is IFB ellena, mode 2004 washing machine user. the spin is not working. I contacted the service center got advice that change the motor since the coil of armature has got shorted. the service center charged for the same Rs.4600/-. I want to now is it correnct price since the same is not available at other than service center? Is it repairable? if it is repairable what cost would come. please confirm the both on email

IFB WM Executive Plus — Water automatically in

IFB WM Executive Plus automatically water in while machine ON/OFF and some time water pump not working.

My Mother-in-law had purchased a washing machine from IFB 2 years before. We used it only for 3 - 5 months and when my moth-in-law had cancer, my wife had moved to her house and for 1 and half years she did not use the washing machine. Now the water inlet value does not work and I had called the guy 2 months back. IFB guy came and estimated the cost to be Rs.1500/- plus service charge. I had asked him to go ahead with it, but untill now there is no response form IFB. The most stupidest service ever. My cousin has also similar exprience with IFB front loading. The quality is so bad that after warrenty period we have to chenge every spare. now in 4 years she has changed everything, even the cabin.

I would strongly recommend that we need to raise this concern in the cunsumer court and stop such brands from our country. Make customer satisfaction important like in US/UK or any other country.
