[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — spare parts

When I asked for the belt to be replaced the chennai IFB service center at vadapalani insist that we should
sign an AMC.I said that I do not need an AMC and asked for the part. They refused to sell the spare part and said that they would replace if I pay Rs350 as service charge plus 585 being the cost of spare part namely (Belt).The reason for the complaint is when I talked on the phone the coustmer service operater verified and name the price of the belt as Rs.320.Againg how can a company refuse to supply spares if we can fix it by ourself

I am facing the same problem with IFB service center. recently my washing machine belt was broken. as iam a technical person I can replace the belt myself. I visited service center and asked for spare part(belt). they provided the same part with out price tag and charged 900RS with out bill.i requested to provide invoice.they refuse to provide bill.they want hand cash. and inform me that i[censored] want bill one of my service engineer will visit to ur door step and they will charge 580Rs as a service charge and 900Rs for belt.total 900+580=1480Rs. that to they will issue dealer bill with out IFB sign. I returned back to hme. I need help from IFB help center and please provide the price details.my contact no:[protected].

i purchesed IFB SANATOR 6KG washing mechine front load in few years back that was not under warenty, until washing mechine was working fine but few days back i got drum problem some techinechine was came and chedke, he finally said DRUM was damaged please replace the drum finally i contact IFB i didnt get any finall desicession untill today .
so could you give me proper support for this problem because since one month i am faceing the issue

Hi,

I have been using IFB front load washing machine from last 5 years. And in this 5 years I have replaced the door 2 times. We are facing AC LOW issue in the panel. In last 6 months the service center person said that there is a door problem. Change the door and it will get resolved. After replacing the door, issue again started coming. This time again person said it is a door problem. Then we told him that this is not door problem as it got changed in last 6 months. Then he checked the machine again and said that this is PCB problem. I needs to be changed. This is really disgusting. We are really fed up with the machine and its service center. It seems they are also not aware of the exact problem and blindly giving us the solution. Now the new PCB cost is 5-6 K which is not at all tolerable. Not really sure if service center people are really capable of dealing with these problems. Let me know the solution for this as I cannot afford to spend thousands money every 6 months.

I have 7kg digital front load machine. it gives high sound on spin the mechanic say that the bearing of the wash drum needs to be changed.
The cost of changing the seal and bearings he said will be about Rs 12000/-.As he says whole assembly along with the drum needs to changed as replacing the bearings is not done/ possible in this model.
Kindly guide, and he asked for money in advance.

My washing machine pump repair when I called to service centre they told they will b there in 24 hours but 4 days no call then again we filed complaint they came after 6th day then that person told this part is not available if possible I will call and come worst thing is that I paid 54 thousand for that washing machine whato the he'll only worked for 4 yrs please don't buy ifb products
What is the solution if my ifb washing machine got dent on one side during transportation..??

Today I have visited ghaziabad ifb service centre along with a part called airinlet and they refused to provide it and told me that you have to pay rs.300 for technician visit and part charges too .I told him that I found myself that it needs to be replace than why you are not providing me spare parts and asking for additional 300 rs for mandatory technician visit and their technical people are not more than 10th class pass .last to last year I found cheated by their technician by selling duplicate cleaning powder. It's a matter of trust and service ifb is cheating any way as a part of servicing charges and not providing parts from their service centres.
