[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I am an I F B machine user since 1994, Washing machine and dish washer. From 2001 march the attitude of the customer service is very very bad, at least my complaint used to be attended after endless calls. Now for the past 2years that too is not happening WHAT EVER HAS HAPPENED TO THE I F B COMPANY If all us I FB users got to gether and sent a notice to the company and sued them for no customer service at all may be we would expect some reaction from them

Stopped working on 10/07/2009 .
Complaint was lodged on 11/07/09 (Complaint no. 3242977), was not attended to.
SMS send by IFB on my Mobile saying complaint resolved .
New complaint lodged on 14/07/09 (Complaint No.3254019).

IFB Bangalore Post Sales Suport response was worrest. Always says "today our technicianwill visit" but never they turned. I would suggest don't go for IFB products.

IFB Washing Machine — Service person not attending for service

My washing machine is under warranty period and it has got some problem with the stand on which it is placed. It produces huge vibrations in spin mode and moves away from the place. I have lodged a complaint regarding this in the month of Nov 2008. Till today no person has attended. On repeated calls customer care will provide any one of the person's contact number and he promises to visit my home on one purticular day. But if i try calling that person the day before he wanted to come, his mobile will be either switched off or not reachable.

This is a hopeless service from IFB machines, Could anyone please provide me with official website of IFB where we can contact the managemet directly. I am available on [protected]
IFB washing machine had 4 problems within first year itself and service people do not attend for days.
THeIR CALL CENTRE NUMBER JUST DOES NOT GO THROUGH. EVEN IF YOU TRY FOR HOURS.

Sir,

on the 11th of July I called your customer care department toll
free number [protected] regarding a problem with my washing machine,
a simple problem (My detergent tray got stuck) and they registered my
complaint and gave me a complaint number 3242221. Your department
promised to send a technician before 11th evening, being 11th a Saturday,
I requested them to do something urgently, becoz Sunday is not a working
day. Nobody came or called till Monday, even after calling your office
so many times and i even complained your Supervisor in charge of that
day. Finally on tuesday, I was so irrated and spoke to the Customer Care
in charge Mr Jitesh and he promised to send some within 30 minutes
time and he kept his promise.Why should I go from piller to post, to
get a job done.
My suggestion - After sales service is very important for a companies
smooth running and keep the reputation of the firm. Your customer care
office should have a follow-up procedure, they always say : sorry for
the inconvenience, we passed the information to the concerned department
I live in Kannur and kannur office will take their own sweet time.
You can always inform the customer the correct date and approximate
time, so that the customer dont have wait for two or three days for
your technician to come.
Lastly on the 14th 30 minutes after I spoke to the In-Charge, your
technician Mr Vijesh came to my house, and soert out the problem
within no time, and he gave me some useful tips about the usual
trouble shooting problems, and keep regular check on this areas,
which nobody explained to me so far. Now I am a VERY SATISFIED
CUSTOMER because of your Technician mr VIJESH a through professional.
This is a good example how to convert a complaint to a compliment.
PLEASE CONGRATULATE MR VIJESH ( from Kannur) A JOB WELL DONE, on my
behalf and from your side as well.

IFB is not even bother to so, your customer care standard is so poor, probably you wont believe

IFB Top Loading Machine — service is not good.

i had purchased the ifb ( aw60-9021) fully automatic top loding washing machine on dated 8-feb-08 from dabar international, gurgaon.i am not satisfied with this machine . in the mon of jan 2009 i had the complained in ifb customercare that the digital sysytem was not operating. and the complain no is 2648398.then service engineer come and deceide that the digital system should be changed. and at last the digital system had changed by the serviace eng.

Now again this machine created problem in dryer sysytem and i had the complain in customercare on dated 11-jul-09 and complain no is 3241221.service eng come and deceide that the any parts should be changed. today is 22 -july and i called to this no [protected] given by the ib customercare.and said me parts is not available. and may be come to three to four days more.ifb again give the no of the person mr amit anand ([protected]) and from this no i ve received any progress . i am not finding the proper help from the ifb service engineer .
plz my washing machine is in warranty period. so plz change this washing machine. and see the status of this machine from the complain no .kindly revert back.other wise i will go to the consumer court.

IFB Washing machine - Senorita DX — Spoiling all my clothes

I have complaints twice regarding my IFB front loading Machine, Engineer asked to use DESCAL, after using that also clothes are getting spoil, all over some oil patches are appearing and not at all cleaning.

Clothes are becoming yellow & Grey.

Treat this as serious issue else I am going to the court.
During spinning some Hiss sound is coming from the machine.

THE service persons keep on saying that their rep will be visiting today
but nobody visits and no body up in the heirarchy seems to care

my senator washing machine is out of order since 15th July and inspite
of registering my complaint the same day it has not been repaired till
today. i was told that the required part is not available with the
service centre and that it will take 3 days to arrange it. it is
surprising that such a big company is short of spare parts and there
is no one t listen to the customer's woes. i am requesting you to take
immediate action. A disgruntled customer spreads bad word about the
company and if this problem persists for long i am sure that the
people known to me will take a lesson and think twice before buying
any of your products.
this is my third mail to your company and i am still waiting for any response

I am facing same problem with my washing machine. Last 20 days they have not repaired my machine which is under warranty. Even talking to higher authority nothing has materialised
My earnest request to all the keen buyers please don't purchase any IFB product. Their after sales support is miserable. They are just the box pushers.
My washing machine has a problem. I've been following up with the IFB company for more than a month but every time their personnel are giving another date or some silly excuse. The machine is unusable. This is a very callous attitude by the company. I now feel that I should dump the machine in their office & never buy/recommend any IFB product.

IFB / Washing Machine Elena DX — Not Working

Dear Friend,

I had bought an IFB Washing Machine ELENA DX model on 9th June'2009 and installed on 12th June'2009

The machine was working nicely but then some sought of noise started coming while washing and then it stopped .We had booked a complaint on July 17th, 2009 against it and an engineer had come and checked it and found loose screw and washer in poly bag in the machine .The engineer started the machine without loading the clothes, but after loading the clothes the machine started tumbling after a while.

I booked a complain again this time the engineer said the controller board has broken down and said that the card will be changed soon. After calling there helpline and other people time to time. Engineer turned up on July 24th, 2009 with the card but the machine didn't start.

Please help me what should i do should i go for my money back or for replacement.

My complaint id is DOW-C3516. I purchased IFB fully automatic washing machine last year(2008)in gurgaon and its still in warranty period. I lodged a complaint that the water is leaking and the machine is not working properly.The technician seems to be not that much of proficient in rectifying the problem.He told that some part needs to be changed and it would cost around Rs1800. I agreed for the same. He told that he will fix the problem the next day but didn't turned up. After 4 days another technician came and looked in to that and he too told the same thing. Surprisingly the next day I got a message from the customer care saying that the problem has been fixed and the complaint has been closed. I called to the customer care and asked abt that. They told that I can ignore that message and they will be sending the technician with in a week since they are not having that spare part by that time. But no body turned up till now and its been nearly a month. I tried to call the customer care but nobody is picking the phone. I have witnessed such a bad service. Now I am suggesting my friends not to buy IFB washing machine.

Hello,
I've purchased the IFB Digital 5 Kg frontloading machine in November 2007. Since then we have faced several issues with it. The motor was faulty, the door belt was defective, the control panel had to be replaced, the soft buttons not working and to top it all the door broke. Our last machine (Videocon) worked for 16 years without any issue. We are absolutely unhappy about IFB quality of product and also there service. The service engineers are not prompt they take almost a month to solve one issue. What should we do to apply for a complete replacement of the machine, because its not one or two faults, the entire machine is faulty. And we have had enough of lodging complaints and chasing the technicians to solve them. IFB is the worst company in terms of product and service that i have come across. Please advise.
