[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

While using IFB Washing machine we r facing one problem, After the cloth get washed, full operation is completed but at the same time water is coming in the front door, kindly inform me through mail at [protected]@rediffmail.com what will be your service charge.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Poor Response.

I have a fully automatic machine, which is covered in AMC, I registered my complaint first on 27/7/09, 1 techincian visited & told that parts not available & now there is no response.
Please DO NOT BUY any IFB waching machine at all, because once you buy its mean you will only gain pain from machine, pain from customer executive. very dirty service. They don't solve problem, they just keep suggesting you buy this and buy that to solve problem, they force you to buy extended warranty, and its true considering the machine problem. The day I bought this machine we are facing horriable problem, its noisy like a floor mills, my neighbour is complaining that machine is very noisy and through it from society. dirty service by executive, Initially it was taking 4hrs to wash, when I complaint about it now it is taking 2 hrs to wash and bearing this pain. Customer executive was told me, if you want to get rid of this noise the you should buy stand for machin because floor is not rough, they charge you Rs. 1000 for stand and they don't give you bill, but still problem remain their. if you want to know more about this machine problem please email. my email id is [protected]@yahoo.com
Please do not buy an IFB machine.IFB doesn't bother once the product is sold. Their techinicians are very dumb, instead they are much more interested in selling the accessories(stand, powder, etc) instead of fixing the issues.
this is looking wise very good.

IFB Washing Machine — does not wash white clothes as white

The much said to the company is totally wrong. The consumers are cheated. the washing machine has no effectr on white clothes.

After the wash of white clothes the clothes are brownish white.

I had purchased I.F.B. Eleena Fully Automatic Machine from Vishnu Parsad & Sons in 2007. when I opened the packing, I didn't get instruction manual. Many times i demanded the same from distributor & local customer care, but didn't get the same. I have once wrote to the company also. Therefore it is requested to provide the same to me.

IFB Washing Machine Digital 6 KG — Very poor service-Non-availability of Spares

I am placed at Cohin, Kerala. I have purchase one IFB washing machine Digital 6 KG in 2006 and the same was installed in September 2006. I have taken extended warranty of 2 years over and above the 2 years warrany provided at the time of purchase. The Machine is presently under the extensed warranty.

I have registered a Service request with the IFB Customer care some where around 3th August 2009. It took almost 4 to 5 days for the Service personel to give the first call, that to after repeated calls to the customer care. The Service personel after inspection suggested replacement of the Board. However, spare board was not available with him as well as with the Service Centre. He has promised to replace the same as soon as the stocks are available. Now after repeated calls every week till today[protected] I get the same reply about the non-availability of stock. It is almost 25 days since I have registered by first complaint and stil there is no resolution

I am absolutley dissapointed with the service of IFB and regret purchasing the Brand on which I had ardrent loyalty earlier, since I was using IFB Washing Machine from 1996 onwards when I was in Hyderabad and had decided to go for the IFB when I decided to change my Washing Machine.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — not repaired after one month

I have a IFB Digital washing machine and I registered a compaint on month ago. But it has not yet serviced even though it is under Warranty. Everyday the service person tells that he will come tororrow. God only knows when will it get repaired. So please avoid IFB products since their service is pathetic.

I registered compaint on 25/7/2009 ticket nunber 3298222. Till now it has not repaired. If we call them, they tell me that they will come and repair within 1-2 days.

I dont want this kind of things happends to anyone in india. So I am planning for a mass e-mail campaign against IFB products/serivce among my friends in Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, IBM, HCL, etc.

IFB customer service really sucks. Improve customer service or your sales will die down soon...

I lodged acomplain that my easy dry was not working so service man came and changed macro switch
and it worked for 2 days, then it stopped i lodged complain again and he says now that motor is gone have to replace it. First complain on 13th aug. second complain on 30th aug.YOUR SERVICE PEOPLE CHARGED ME FIST TIME but could not detect that motor not working he changed macro switch took money and left assuring me all is fine no problem! i am digusted with your inefficient service guys and inefficiency.
My IFB 7 KG DIGITAL machine (Paid Rs. 29, 000) which is just 2 month old is coming up with problems after problems with every operation/cycle malfunction. The machine’s censors, etc started malfunctioning within a month. I complaint IFB customer service on the 13th of Aug 2009 and a technician visited and identified problem with sensor/switch that cuts the water level and needed to be, however, he added that the part is not available and cannot give me any date when it will be available and instead asked me to follow up with their customer service with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Barry (in Mumbai). That surely matched their high impact pre-sales pitch...I thought.

I called Mr. Barry on the 17th and he promised to get me the parts and repair done in 2 days. Today it’s over 2 weeks (Sep 1, 2009) and I have been calling repeatedly to get some help, however, continuously reminded something known as "total customer service failure, ineffective in dealing with any customers situation, and inconsistent in creating any memorable customer experience". And still waiting for a return phone call/email or visit to get me through this problem.

I can't believe a reputed company like IFB could put their product in the market without proper quality check or service. The machine doesn't function without manually pressing the button even at any given cycle, whether it’s in hot/cold, short/long, cotton/synthetic/woolen and what not.

I am totally baffled with IFB's management, their service and wondering with so much competition and the consumer power to switch product with a click of a switch how long IFB will sustain with such inconsistent communication. It's very surprising to realize that none of their corporate numbers or management can be accessible.

IN SHORT, IFB's SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR SO BE AWARE BEFORE YOU END UP WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.

My customer code is 1069895. Complaint was lodged on 01.09.09 in respect of washing machine IFB elena model, however, till this date, it has not been attended, even though at the time of booking of complaint, it was stated, assured and promised that it would be looked into within 24 hours. This assurance and promise was nothing but hollow one as is clear from the fact mentioned above. The Company should really look into the aspect of providing the service to its customer at the earliest. However, the slackness shown by the officials of the IFB in attending the complaint or the grievances of the customers regarding services writ large. Extremely sorry state of affairs. Hope some steps would be taken to ensure that prompt service is rendered to the customers.
