[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I bought Senator IFB Washing Machine in March 2010 from Sector-35-Chandigarh. After that no service was provided by the company. On Saturday[protected] washing machine went out of order. On the same day I lodged the compalint in the morning at about 8-00 A.M. After that I made many telephonic calls (about-14-15 calls) but no technician attended our complaint. I am sorry to say that the customer service of the IFB is very poor, because no technician has yet attended our complaint. The management should pull up the concerned officer to attend the complaint. I am from Delhi and had bought a washing machine from AMC. Now its been a lot of days and it is not working properly Though on the phone the authorities make sure that an action will soon be taken, but its been the same ever since; no one turns up.
This kind of negligence is not appreciable and will add a bad name to the company..
My complaint no. is 4954548 and mobile no. is [protected].
I firmly ask the concerned authorities to take an action as soon as possible.
I have a IFP dishwasher - Neptune model. The consumables for this dishwasher are Salt and Rinse Aid. On 28/06/2010, I have raised a request for salt and rinse aid. The request no is 112396 and the customercare executive (call center IIIrd party) told that within 24 hrs the product will be supplied to your address. There was no response for this request and the consumables stock in my house also exhausted. so again i called the customer care on August 16, 2010 (more than 50 days) and they gave another request no as 118729. I got the same response(hi hi hi) from the service center, so again called to the custercare and they gave Service center personnel No Mr Ponnuraju[protected]. I tried to reach Ponnuraju but no response.(tried different No also). Again tried with customer care, and explain from the begining, and they gave another request 119021 and 119028. For registering this request, I blasted the customer care because whenever I gave the request no (product request) they replyed different name and address. They told that we have created a permanent customer No for you as 1645766, previously they gave customer id as 872319. (Lot of confusion on customer id serials). During this conversation they gave another contact no Mr Siva, Tamilnadu Branch Manager, IFB[protected]. Next day I reached Mr sivakumar and explained the history, he wrote my mobile no and address and gave commitment as today you will get the product. (This happen on 20th August 2010). But I got the same excellent response from the service center. (Have a doubt about whether the service center persons are working or not).I never loose my confident so call back to customer care on 21st August 2010, and got the no of Mr Thiru[protected], (Customer care told that He is the top in IFP). Immediately I reached Mr Thiru over mobile and he also wrote my mobile no. But no response from any personal in IFP or service center.

Customer care Executive :- Are you reviewing the calls and the request status. All the guys in service center are IFB employees or 3rd party?. (because my request is in open state more that 50 days). I have contacted Premkumar, Aswini, Saravana, Paul and shalini (Team Lead) in customer care, and Dhanasekar, Siva in IFP service.

Can anyone help me, is there in chennai/ Bangalore any other alternate vendor to supply this product. Because to talk and get the consumables from the IFP is a imaginary one. If other than chennai location, i am ready to pay the shipping cost also.

IFB / Washing M/C Digital 7kg — DELAY IN ATTENDING COMPLAINT

I, Jayu Daniel, would like to bring to your kind notice that now a days IFB sales service performance is getting deteriorated day by day. Our fully automatic washing machine (Model Digital 7Kg, Sr.No.[protected]got stuck on 8th of August accordingly a complaint had been registered via telephone (No. [protected]) on 9th August, and IFB representative visited our house on 11th August found that the board is having certain technical problem and noted down the board number and informed us that within two days it shall be rectified. Since there was no reply came from IFB rep we contacted again to the service centre on 14th August, and on 16th August they took away the board confirming that the washing machine shall be rectified by 20th August. On 21st August we requested them either you get us a replacement or rectify the same immediately since we have taken 2 years extended warranty (date of purchase-15.11.2007, extended warranty effective from 15.11.09 to 14.11.20110) IFB rep Mr.Vinil ([protected]) and Mr.Sunil ([protected])advised us to send an email (complaint) to www.ifbservicecentre.com

IFB SERVICE PERFORMANCE IS VERY VERY VERY POOR
Hi I own a IFB digitaql 6 Kg and bought it on 3rd February 2009. Since then small repairs were there. The service people asked us to put 2 aqua purifier inspite of me using metro water. My machine made a loud noise on 2nd August. I made a complaint and the service mechanic came and said that DRUM, TUB AND THE BEARING has to be changed. Since then i am making a call every day. Till date[protected] nobody has come. The machine is in the warranty period. I am in a pathetic condition. I suffer from slip disc. I now feel sorry for purchasing a IFB washing machine having spent about Rs.24000 is worthless. The IFB has given its service to the Franchise . The service people who come are very young and inexperience and handle the machine without care.
MY QUESTION TO THE IFB CUSTOMER CARE IS
1. WHEN YOU KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT SERVICE THE MACHINE WHY DO YOU SELL IT?
2. ARE YOU TAKING ANY CARE TO IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE?

IFB — Washing Machine

This is Vinod Chawla. I have one IFB washing machine (ELENA) model. I have bought AMC (Annaul maintanance contract) from IFB by paying advance money for 1 year. Last week on 19-August-2010, I registered one complaint (Complaint No.: 4960260) for washing machine. The service technician visited on 21-August-2010 and conveyed that there is serious problem with machine and we need to carry it to service center and repair it over there. And they confirmed that they will get it transported on 21-August-2010 evening itself. I am contiuously following up with customer care[protected], the service executive/ co-ordinator Raju (Mobile:[protected]) and Supervisor Anupam (Mobile: [protected]) for last 5 days. However, no one is responding properly and everytime they commit they will come to carry the machine. Now, they have stopped responding on phone, they either disconnect the phone or switch off their phones or do not pick up the phone. I have seen the worst customer care department in my life. I recommend no one should buy IFB product because their is no body to take care of the products after you own it.

I also appreciate if consumer department can take necessary action to avoid these cheating events happening with customers after buying such a reputed ( Now onwards worst for me) company product.

I completely agree to all the complaints posted as i too have the same complaints. It is the high time we consumers should take action against this kind of company who sold the machine at once and dont even bother to look at it once sold. This company are crook cheat the people. After sale service is like a birth right of consumers.

Hi agree with your comments . I am put up in White field where the branch office of IFB is situated. I have been in touch with many people from the branch itself, But to my wonder still my complaint is not clear. Have spoken to Poornima, Shankar, Sooraj, Nitin and still not resolved. I wonder why these kind of people are appointed in such a company.

They never cared or attended.Then i registerd complaint online and through sms on 20/08/10.One David called me and promised to solve the complaint(complaint is that the waterdoes not flow out and drier not functioning properly).But of no use.Though one Suresh from kayamkulam contacted me, he never came.I am really helpless. what action shall i take.am i punished for selecting ur brand? pls help me

Since the time I have purchased Top Loading IFB Washing Machine, I am experiencing a recurrent peoblem. The machin e stops functioniong in the middle of the washing procedure with some error or other. Most common error is E3. our technician has been visiting regularly but they tell me it is because of overloading. It is doing this even if I put four clothes. I do not understan what is the remedy. I hv complained again but no one has come to see the machine.

Kindly get this expedited and get my machine rectified

I purchased an IFB Washing M/C ELLENA 6 years ago and took AMC since teh date of purchase.My latest AMC no. 197952 dated[protected], through paying the cheque for rupees 3309/- i.e. paid upto 7-Feb 2012.

The machine has broken down several times in last one year including the motor which was replaced around 6 months back. For last 10 days now, the machine is not working again. I registered a complaint with IFB customer care . The technician from MGJ Services center has come and thoroughly checked the machine and informed me that the Body of the Machine has been damaged and has to be replaced by paying rupees 5000/- as it was not covered under AMC. rupees 5000/- to expend on old machine, i compelled to purchase a new semi automatic washing machine costing Rs. 7000/- After 2 days one another electrical mechanic came to my house to repair the fan, i showed my washing machine to him, he checked and told me that the body has no problem and only the heater is not working he repaired it and charged Rs. 300/-.Now it is smoothly working, it appears that the service engineer of the company IFB, is not well trained and experinecd enough to correctly detect as to where the fault lies. By solely relying on the statement made by him, i have to purchase a Semi Automatic Machine by paying Rs.7000/- .In this way, i have been cheated. I have to incur a loss of Rs.7000/-, which could have been easily avoided, had i got the job done by local mechanic. In view of the above i sincerly request you to kindly make good the loss of Rs.7000/- and also pay Rs.25000/- for the harrashment and mental agony suffered by me for no fault on my part.

My IFB washing machine is not working for last Two Weeks. The complaint lodged with the Customer Care at Puducherry on 18thAug2010, My Complaint no 4966286, And My Customer code no 1866674. They are not bothered to send service man to fix it despite the machine being under AMC and several phone calls everyday.They may pl.be asked to attend to the job today itself.

I am facing a problem in a Machine purchased from you in 2006 and from the last week I have registered my complaints and have been calling since that day but no one is trying to come here..
They are making fool o[censored]s as they think that we can not do any thing related to this..I have got the complaint registered in the Delhi call centre and Chandigarh centre as well..The complaints number are 5000739 and 5009857 respectively. Also from the last my clothes are inside the washing machine.
Due to this you are going to get a bad feedback..Kindly improve a little so that the consumer should have a faith in you..Also for the machine I have taken an Extended Warranty anf if it get expired now I am not responsible as I will get it done under the warranty..
I am residing in Panchkula near Chandigarh.

IFB Maxi Dryer — bad service

ever since I have bought the product i have faced problem with it.the aftersales service is very bad and the technicians not trained.
i have registered several complaints with the company and their web site to send a sr technician but of no use.ever week my machine gets spoilt as the tech connects the wire directly.Also I was forced to pay rs 750 for a part which was under warranty
