[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

IFB Washing Machine — WASHING MACHINE IS NOT WORKING AND NO TECHNICIAN TURNED UP DESPITE OF REMINDERS

We have a 7 Kg DIGITAL front loading IFB washing machine since last 3-4 years. My machine is under AMC. I am in AHMEDABAD. My machine is not working since last 1 month.

The machine once switched on will not stop but it continuously runs. We have to switch off the main power to the machine. The main problem is we can’t open the door of the machine and thus the clothes remains inside the machine. We have not been able to take the clothes out of the machine at all. I have raised the complaint bearing Complaint number 5084825 but still it is not resolved by IFB.

In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine, the manager at AHMEDABAD is not even attending the calls. I am not able to understand the reasons for this casual attitude. No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redressal
yes i agree, in goa it is worst .our ifb machine broke after 16 mths, now i am calling service peoples but alas they are making fun of me. i am upset . I promise in future i will never buy ifb appliances.
True - Most useless service from IFB - for past one month everyday I call various IFB service numbers and they are rarely available - if I catch them - the standard answer is parts not available or technician not available - they are totaly insensitive to anything i say or threaten

What is wrong with IFB AMC services / customer care at Chennai ? Beats me !

IFB Washing Machine Digital 6 Kgs — NOBODY ATTENDING COMPLAINT

Dear Sir,

Inspite of our various reminders and complaints to IFB Customer Care, nobody is attending our complaint. Our complaint number is as follows:-

5106816 dated 15.09.10

Washing Machine Model Digital 6 Kgs.

We spoke to our local distributor in Shakarpur but nobody is attending the call and not sending any representative to our place. We request you to please take immediate action against our complaint. If you see, it is already 9 days.

We are facing problem due to this negligence. Kindly do something and help us.

Sir, Can you please find out the Lier/ Cheater Service Engineer. Surprisingly still now nobody attended my complain?????? Can you please tell me why????

I have paid for AMC for a year but due to delay of your side (for One month) already passed, please give me the extension for Contract Period upto the repair of my washing machine.

Sir, you are also requested to please take the necessery action against your Service Agency/Engneer and please assure me When it will repaired.

I had received a call from Mr. Vikash - Noida and simply says it will resolved tomorrow. But as usual - Mis commitment...... Surprised ...All are lier.

IFB, 20 Pb25 — Irresponsible Service

I have been using IFB Micro Wave since 3 years,but it is very sorry to say that it is one of the worst consumer durable which i have never before used.In 3 years i got 4 times problem in my microwave & every time I have faced worst service given by IFB service center.Now this time problem in my PCB,on 7/9/2010 service centers employees bought my Microwave's PCB to their center to replace that. But today itself i haven't got PCB & when i contact to Ms.Nidhi Agarwal(Service in charge for Lucknow) she says we have placed order for PCB & you have to wait for that.Her reply is very irresponsible & not customer friendly.She shows that this problem is generated by myself not themselves. I am thinking to go to consumer forum to launch a complaint against IFB & Ms.Nidhi agarwal. I strongly recommend to every one please do not buy IFB product because IFB does not believe in customer retention & service, they believe in profit generation only.
we completely agree with u.by skimming through all these complaints pointed out against ifb customer care it is unanimous that they have prevalently and for a prolonged period purposefully and deliberately avoiding complaints of their clients on a perpetual basis.a similar incident also happened to us whereby in spite of constant addressing of customer care they are not arriving to our home to solve the washing machine issue which has been left unattended for a fair period of one month.by the time of purchase they are showing immense interest in pleasing the customers by their nice and courteous behavior and and their nodding of head to promise to attend any problem arising even expiry of guarantee period.in fact they too promise to take the malfunctioning issue upon their shoulders within 24 hours(or is it 24 years).we are annoyed and irritated by their post approach to their clients where they simply lay before u their excuses and lies.what to do now with them. they act like executive bureaucrats.how can we suggest such products to our relatives.

Hi all, I reside in Mumbai in posh Cuffe Parade area. I fully agree with all the complaints made and I am one of the sufferers. I purchased a new Elina Model in October 2008 and despite several requests, till today nobody has come to give basic demo. Frustrated, I gave up. The machine is not working properly and throws out all the soap within 5 minutes of starting. The service boys are totally useless and for days together we have to keep ringing them up and finally give up. It's high time we blacklist the Company. Let us all decide, our next purchase will not be IFB.

IFB/ washing machine — Faulty Board not replaced after 3 weeks

My IFB fully automatic washing machine is only 4 months old. It's electrionic board become faulty and informed to service personnel. After 4days of complaint registration service person came and take away the board for repair and informed it will be back within one week . It was not returned after 3 weeks. I have contacted the service personnel by telephone and they simply said it was not repaired and also said that when repair will complete it will be replaced. Answer was not clear and they are not saying when will it be replaced. If customer service is their motto, they will not say so.
There seems something basically wrong with IFB's after sales service.

My complaint no. 5161823 of 24/9/2010 has not been attended to till date. Their call center gives contact numbers which are either switched off or goes on ringing and no body takes. Washing machine is in warranty and even extended warranty !!! and it is not working. This sort of negligent attitude of the Company is setting a very bad precedent whereby consumers would lose faith even in the warranty. Although consumer court can give relief it is it is impossible to take every complaint to consumer court and get redressal. Such attitude deserves exemplary punishment. td thampi, delhi

I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT DESPITE HAVING REMINDED SEVERAL TIMES TO CALL CENTRE MY COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN REDRESSED FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH. I HAD LODGED A COMPLAINT ABOUT MY DIGITAL 6 KG WASHING MACHINE ON 05.09.2010 FOR WHICH I WAS GIVEN COMPLAINT NO. 5039119. MY WASHING MACHINE GETS HANG/ STOP FUNCTIONING WHEN TIMER REACHES THE READING 0:35. IT DOES NOT MOVE FIURTHEWR KEEP ON WASHING CYCLE, WOULD NOT MOVE TO RINSE AND SPIN IN ANY OF MODE.

YOU ENGINEER HAD VISITED TO ATTEND THE COMPLAINT BUT HE COULD NOT SET IT RIGHT EVEN IN 3 VISITS. NOW DESPITE HAVING REMINDED HIM 3 MORE TIMES, HE HAS NOT CARED TO ATTEND TO MY COMPLAINT.

I AM REALLY DISGUSTED THE WAY YOU PEOPLE ARE HANDLING COMPLAINTS. IF I MAKE A CAAL AT CALL CENTRE THOSE GUYS SAY YOUR COMPLAINT IS STILL SHOWN PENDING BUT NOBODY TURNS UP TO ATTEND TO IT.

IFB — Nobody attending to complaint

We had complained in September. Somebody came to service the machine and a part (mini aqua softener) was broken. He asked us to complain to the customer care service. We did so (on 13 sept) and nobody came for many days. Finally somebody did and said the same thing (we already knew what the problem was) and he gave us service centre nos in Delhi. Despite getting through to these numbers (twice) nobody has attended to our complaint. When we call them they say they will call back in 10 minutes and treat it as some kind of a joke. This is very frustrating. We find it very unprofessional behaviour on the part of IFB. They are supposed to be a reputed company, but their service centers are bringing them disrepute and we are beginning to regret that we bought their product.

This callous attitude on their part is discouraging and I would like to know what further action to take. Thank you.
Your one technician did mistake and now came devang also not even given number of his supervisior to save earlier rtechnician bhavesh mistake. Supervisir at Baroda may be dinesh or some one else.
I am in ahmedabad and i am facing the same problem.
