[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I have a washing machine from IFB, the model being Serena SX. The machine has not been working properly since the last two weeks. I have lodged a complaint with the customer care and allotted complaint no. 5001424 on 24 August 2010. Since then I have been following up with them on a daily basis but till date no one from IFB has visited my house for follow up action. The customer care has provided me with telephone numbers of the Senior and Area In-charge. When I contacted them, I was assured that the technician would be visiting me soon. But till date nothing has happened.
I once again urge upon you to repair the machine at the earliest since it has caused great harassment to me.

Really frustated using IFB, poor responce from call center and service technician. Feeling bad on taking a wrong choice of buying IFB product. Service attention is very poor. When evr we call them they get lame excuse for attending the complaint.
I have IFB SENORITA PLUS WASHING MACHINE - NOW IT IS NOT WORKING (i.e. some sound is comming and not sucking water from pipe) I have already registered a complaint with your Tirunelveli Service Centre on 4/7/2010 and I have reminded several times over phone. IFB Industries Limited / Digital 7 Kg Washing Machine — Not attending complaint for breakdown of washing machine complaint no 4993383

We have taken an AMC with IFB Industries Ltd.The contract Serial No is 11567 dated 26th March 2009 (Job No 2860477). The period of contact is from 26th March 2009 to 25th March 2011.

We have registered a complaint for machine not working on 26th August 2010. The complaint no given was 4993383.

Probably next day a service engineer (Imtiaz Sheikh) came after huge follow up. He came very late in night may be probably beyond 9 pm. He could not repair and said that motor needs replacement. We were promised that he will come next day.

We were continuously following up with their local service center and taking to one Mr. Shanshikant Mishra. He kept on promising we will repair and that part is not in stock. We will get the part and send someone today or tomorrow. But that day never came.

We raised the bar of complaint and called IFB Customer Care and got number of one Mr. Sonu (land line No[protected] and Ms Amrin ([protected]). No one picked up the phone and our frustration increased further.

We contacted Mr. Mishra again and the amount of frustration which we showed him forced him to give mobile number of Mr. Shashank - Executive (mobile no [protected]). This was on Thursday Sep 2, 2010. This gentleman pickup the phone after few attempts. We again narrated entire story to him. He promised to give call after talking to right people in next half an hour. He never came back. We still showed our patience and called him again after few hours. Mr. Shashank said he has personally searched the part and that will send someone tomorrow. About an hour later we got call from One Mr. Datta saying that Shashank did not provide proper information and that part has to come by courier. We will get part tomorrow and promised that definitely service engineer will come on Friday and repair the machine.

On Friday Sep 3, 2010 we followed up and were kept on telling by Datta (and here again we rose bar of complaint and talked to him boss as well - Mr. Nilesh Dhedhia - [protected]). We were told on various inquires we will get part at 11 am, next promise was 3 pm, next was 5 pm, next was 7 pm. But never came.

Again we have been trying to reach various people on Saturday. Datta is not picking up phone. Nelish is in same boat. Ultimately we again were lucky to contact Mr. Shashank. The part was stilled not received. He on insistence took Ms Amrin.

I threatened Amrin and Shashank that I want refund of my AMC money as IFB has failed in its duty. However they again promised that we will take almost care and ensure that service engineer with part will come to our house at 5 pm today i.e. 4th Sept 2010. I requested them that send the person by 4 pm that it will enable us to do some household shopping work in the evening.

As we had expectation no one turned up till 6.15 pm. We are trying to call Sonu, Shahshank. Amrin. On one is attending the phone. One surprising thing is the phones are coming engaged some times and some times the call is unattended. This means that someone is using the phone but seeing our numbers no one is picking up the phone. In fact I got SMS from Mr. Shashank that he will not be able to pick up the phone. In spite of knowing that customer is aggravated and the promises to him are not kept he had courage of saying that he has some other thing which is important.

We have now option to complain the same at Consumer Forum. The amount of follow up, frustration I want to get damages from company which should be refund of AMC+ Rs. 25,000/- ( this is minimum and may increase depending on legal advise) + expenditure incurred on legal including the cost of time spend by me.

Would request your help in this matter to resolve the issue. I am sure there are many more cases like this and we must have huge penalty on such companies and their executive where they are taking consumer for granted.

IFB / Eva Dx 5 Kg — Very poor service

I have IFB EVa Dx 5 kg washing machine. I have purchased 14 months back.Still now they haven't attend one service for my m/c. Whenever I call the service center they ll tell the technician is on the way and he will come soon. But he never comes. like this the past one year has gone. two weeks before my machine has struck in the middle.I have called them for service.They have told the same story and the person also didnt come. I got frustered with their service. Where I have to compliant to solve this?I have purchased the IFB machine with hope that the best product is purchased but the service is very very poor. Hereafter I ll never suggest my friends to buy IFB products.
i complaint on my washing machine 1 month ago, but the fact is no ifb agent or staff member is taking it seriously.daily when i call them, they only said, we will do something soon.
i m very angry towards the staff members of this company. they are not doing anything. my washing machine is not working till now!!! and this is too much.

Having bought an IFB washing machine you are bound to have all these troubles. Suggest better throw the junk out of the window and employ a servant rather than running behind these stupid guys.

I have purchased new sonarita model washing machine three months back.From the date of installation i had the complaint of severe upnormalnoise while spin function of the machine.i made complaint & the problem is yet to solve.my complaints are closed in chennai office without solving the problem & signing the form by themselves.Right now my machine is vobling &direction is changing while spin function.i made complaint on 30.08.10.complaint no.5024634cust id2320599.till today no one has attend the complaint on my various request at chennai office.is this is your procedure on complaints.you please advice your engineer to solve the issue immediately.we family members are totally worried on the same.
We had taken an AMC dated[protected] in the name of Mr Narpat Singhi for our Washing Machine(AMC No 1106 & ICR No 2538). After which we had some technical problem due to which the machine stopped functioning and after raising the complaint on 21st July 2010 the technican came on 23rd July and took away the machine motor stating that the same is burnt and needs to be replaced. Although the motor was taken on that day the replacement has still not been done till today i.e., 9th Sep 2010.

This is not a kind of service which is expected from an MNC like IFB, also the kind of employees who sit at the call-center who are not ready to take calls and if in case the call is taken then either the phone is kept on hold stating "they will check in the records, and get back" whereas the latter never happens and one is holding the line like an without getting any response from the other end. And if in case by any chance somebody reverts back, the msg is "the technician would be coming today or maximum by tomorrow with the new motor" this also has never happened till now. On speaking to the service head named Mr Rajeev on 6th Sep 2010 on his mobile number [protected] we got the same response that the motor would be replaced within 2 days which is also not doen till today and when I tried calling him today since morning this person doesn't even bother to take his call neither call bk if he was busy with something else.
This is the service "IFB" an MNC which has employed this kind of service head.

IFB / EVA DX(washing machine) — WM is in guarantee period, WM is not working

The washing drum is not rotating, complaints lodged through email & over telephone to local dealer(at Korba, Mr. Kaub Khan)) & to Raipur dealer(Mr.Deepak, Sales executive).
One mechanic has attended once, but he was asking for Rs.2000/- for replacement of one spares. Total one month has passed, no further action has been taken.

i have lanuched complint for fixing ifb dryere door now more than a month, even service man has taken money from me every time call he say coming but not coming . my suggetion never never ever buy IFB product becasue bad service.

IFB Top Loading Washing Machine 6563 — Very very poor service response

I bought IFB Washing Machine 6563 in the year 2009 with four years warranty (normally the warranty period is of two years but when I bought the machine there was a promotional offer of extra two years warranty). In May, 2010, my washing machine started troubling us. I registered complaint on 30th May 2010 (Complaint No. 4574166). Mechanic from the company' service centre attended the complaint. But after a month or so it again started giving same trouble and again I registered a complaint on 11th July 2010 (No. 4769571). Again the technician from the service centre attended the complaint and informed that a part of this machine is out of order and he would attend the complaint when the part will come from Goa. After waiting and reminder after reminer for more than a month finally the part came and he fixed the part and informed us that machine is alright now. But actually the machine was giving the same trouble and we again registered a complaint on 21st August (No. 4974473). But after so may calls to them they did not attend the complaint and we were informed that the same part will be replaced and they had indented the company for two parts i.e. "Magnetic Valve" and "PCB". After a month or so and we are calling them almost daily but always their response is that 'still parts have not come from company'.


I am fed up with calling the company's executive (Ms. Ankita, Ph: [protected]) and now she has also stopped taking my calls. I am also in touch with the service centre but their response is as usual.

It is requested that please register my complaint against the IFB company and direct them to take the matter as early as possible.

my name is preeti jauhari and i am from allahabad.i have taken the amc of my ifb machine sanorita on 2nd of june 2010.and after one month i had problem in my machine then when i called the service person he told me that the motor is not working and we cannt change it bcoz u just taken ur amc, then he told me to wait for three month.o.k i was ready with that but now after treee months whenever i called ur service incharge here all the time he told me that motor is out of stock, we have ordered for motor to lko but they are not sending.now i am really fedup by this attitude of ifb service persons...now plz let me know that what i should do...my no is [protected].

IFB — IFB Washing Machine

I have lodged a complaint to IFB vide complaint no. 4968940 for my top load washing machine. The Manchine starts viberating havily while washing the cloths. My complaint is unattended since 3rd August. I have called up IFB Customer care, but invain. They always come up with the same reply, we regret for inconvenience, I am forwarding the mails to my senior and your complaint shall be attended within 24 hours. I am just fad up with this. I dont know what to do under this circumstances

IFB Washing M/C — Service engineer is not attending the problem

On 8th of Sep'10 I have registered one complain of malfuncting of washing m/c via e-mail id [protected]@bharatpetroleum.in. But after that though customer care was telling everytime that problem will be attended within a day. But now it's 9 days, but nobody has attended the problem.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Service personnel not attended

A complaint was registered on 7th september at IFB Customer care no[protected] and the complaint no is 5071833 in the name of Mr. Justin. The customer care executive told that the service personnel will attend in 24 hrs and its almost a week ,but till today the personnel has not visited us. I have been contacting the local ifb dealer Mr. Vasanth at [protected] at chennai and they promised to send a technician Mr. Kannaiyan who has been dodging even after my continous followup calls to him. I request the forum to take an immediate action on this complaint,failing which I would take up the issue to the press. I regret to have purchased an IFB product. The service is really really bad.

before but til date there is no person to Check the machine, the Complaint No. is5056438.

Kindly send somebody to check the machine, this is big mistake to buy an IFB machine which cannot
provide after Sale Service, only good staff for selling the product. NO CUSTOMER CARE.
