[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

Dear Sir,

I purchased IFB Washing Machine in the year Jan 2008. Suddenly Machine was not functioning on 24.2.11. I informed over phone. They attended immediately. They told that Pumbing part is damaged. When I enquired that with in four years how it will be? They told that this problem is common in this type IFB Washing Machine. The cost of the part is nearly Rs.2000/- they told. If you are joining in Annual Service scheme you have to pay Rs.2000/- but you need not pay for the damaged part that will be given freely. I too payed Rs.2000/- to that person. We are in urgency. We believed your prestigious company. My cell no.[protected]. My email [protected]@yahoo.com. I am not doubting anybody but I am not that much happy. IFB means we need not face any problem in the machine that feeling should not be disturbed.

I have an IFB washing machine which is under AMC and the technician are very poort they dont even know to fix the board issue. Below is my complain, outstation people do not go for IFB worst service.


We have an IFB washing machine and raised a complaint stating the machine was not functioning Weeks back. The machine is under the AMC currently and the technician took one week to come to rectify it, but when we lodged a complaint they said in 48 hrs. When we enquired they said outstation will not be done in 48 hrs, fine we can wait upto on more day. Waiting for 1 week to repair one issue is pathetic.



After one week the technician changed some parts and the next day the machine did not work the next day itself. The technician did not even the check the functioning also, is this the service you do. We lodged a complaintregarding this and till now they did not attend the fault. Now they say the board is fault, they changed that part and now its fault.



Need an explanation on this. The problem has to be rectified immediately its worst to wait for 10 days to get it resolved. If outstation is the reason why you sell machines to outstation people sell within the city itself. What is purpose in having an AMC.

IFB / Automatic Washing Machine — not working , too much noise, no maintenance

Its been some years that we have this machine, since purchase it used to make some noise but not as much as to disturb the neighbourhood and our entire family. Plus since two years we have been making complaints to the service center but to no avail. After spending so much money a person expects some service and maintenance even without asking. So many years after the warrant we have been paying for the service as well until year before last when they stopped their support after repeated calls. No phone no.s operate and no connection. Can you help us do something, else can you help us sell this junk. Its kind of not too much used but when not working at all I'll call it a white piece of junk.

I am residing in Chennai, I bought IFB washing machine during February 2009 at Karaikal, Pondicherry State and I moved to Chennai. In 2 years more than 10 times I complained, very poor service from IFB. Now during November 2010 I complained about the front panel, they replaced it and again it is broken. despite several complaints no proper response from IFB, now my guarantee period expired. Very very poor service from IFB.

IFB FINANCE — Non payment of Principal and interest

We had deposited Rs 5000.00(FDR LC/C/98/92298,8/8/99) and Rs 10000.00(FDR LC/C/98/92466,27/7/99). Sent all the papers but received no money. Please do the needful.

IFB Washing Machine — CAUGHT FIRE

My experiment with IFB washing machine began when I purchased it eight years ago. Every thing was smooth till one day when suddenly it caught fire and a major disaster was averted in the nick of time. But for the alertness of our neighbour, our house could have been in flames. We had the great difficulty in putting out the fire.



Today the washing machine is lying in rubble, quite unattended. I have been having your service contract for almost eight years. You technician did finally come and gave us some false promises and hopes. He assured me to repair it, but I was totally unconvinced, how can I use the same machine which can catch fire any moment. My wife shudders when she looks at the machine. Children in the neighbourhood are in the state of shock.



What I want from IFB is the replacement of the machine, because we have completely lost the confidence with the machine that went in flames. I have taken the pictures of the machine and if I receive no response from IFB, I am thinking of going to the press with all the details.



This is a poor advertisement for IFB. After paying so much for service contract, I have received a shoddy treatment from IFB. I am harassed and disillusioned. My old parents do not know what to do with dirty clothes. IFB boasts of good service network and a whopping sale, but has it ever thought about customer satisfaction? Do you want your customers to use the machine that may turn into a fire ball.

IFB / Washing Machine 7kg Digital — not working properly/reminding for service every time

My Customer ID 2354009 I purchased 7kg Digital W.M of IFB from Sadana Electr. Lucknow on 27.01.2010 whose serial No. is[protected] and the unit was installed on 29.01.2010 by Mr. Raj Sharma. After Few days we faced some problem related water supply to the unit. According to your service staff some Mr. Anand we did what he recommended.But again the problem was persisting we again lodged a complain. Our complain Nos. 5516816 for the year 2010.and so on.It is been continuously reminding related the problem to your customer care center. But the problem is not rectified. Secondly we always have to remind them for Service as no one comes of their own.

I have Executive Plus Washing Machine. It had encountered manufacturing defects. My complaint with the following numbers is pending since last 3 months. No body bothers or responds to complaints. Hyderabad branch office does not lift the telephones. Help less customer care has to listen to angry customer. I d not wish to recommend any body to purchase IFB appliances nor I will purchase any.
