very poor service. i am from neyveli.then how can i get another one ifb product. dont want to keep this machine and atleast i want my money back for this piece of junk.

I also wrote a mail to their top boss but there is no reply.
Local office and the Branch manager either don/t respond to calls or by mistake if they take the calls they say they will come back, which never happens.
I have a long outstanding complaint with my washing machine for the last 5-6 months which is not attended completely till date.
Since we have paid money for AMC and not getting service i feel we should file a case in consumer court.
Anyhow, people buying IFB products make double sure that in your place service centre is GOOD.

Totally agree with this comment. I experience is also the similar one. Even after a week since logging the call, service people doesn't even call back. The quality of Machines are also bad

IFB- 7Kg. fully Automatic Washing Machine — Not attending during AMC
My washing machine is covered by AMC as company's rule but authorised service person is not attending since Dec.10 My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in mumbai. In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine. As per aggriment company person had been decleared that servicing should make every three month. till to date no company technician attend the complaints. I think company service is very poor.
The worst customer service i have ever seen is IFB. Please do not buy any IFB washing machines. Perticullarly the service in chennai is the worst.

for last more than 6 month i am complaning about my IFB washing machine for same problem again and again, service eng. come and said he fix the problem but the problem remain the same and when i complaint again they said the complaint will be attanded with 24 hrs. but know they stop reponding

IFB Washing Machine - Elena — Terrific sound while in operation and power goes off.
I have purchased an IFB washing machine ELENA (machine no 088670 from Kuruvithadom Agencies , Ernakulam, about 4years ago Recently it developed some problems As the company offered AMC, I opted for AMC. No:33608 dated 27.10.2010. ICR no 42890 dt 27.10.10 Rs 1588/-.After some time troubles started again. When Machine switched on,after working for 10 to 15 minutes, it will produce terrific sound - oscilate- vibrate; creating a frightening atmosphere.Then power goes off. Mechanics from their office came and inspected (more than 10 times,different persons ) and some parts were replaced still problem is not solved .The machine has become non functional for about three months and I have made countless number of telephone calls to their various offices. Can someone in IFB tell me why anyone should buy an IFB product or take an AMC??????????
It is extremely disappointing that IFB with all its tall claims of a world class product has the most pathetic after sales services I have ever experinced.
I have a washing machine Model T-29 which is under AMC. I had booked a call on the 4th May 2011 at 8 am for a fault in the washing machine. Being a technical person myself had clearly enunciated the problem & the need for replacement of the water pump as the water was not getting drained at the end of the washing cycle.
Lilttle did I realize that my tale of woe had begun. I have had similar experinces earlier with IFB service too but decidde to take the bulll by the horns this time.

I had especially left instructions for the call to be attended after 5pm & urgently. I somehow managed to speak to the elusive franchisee Mr. Joginder Singh on [protected] who very bluntly warned me that he had no pumps in stock & that IFB had not sent him any inspite of raisng a request almost ten days back.
I happen to speak to your so called branch coordinator Geetanjali on 30889678 at the Okhla office and expressed my concern. I was assured that she would get back to me after speaking with the franchisee which she never did,
I somehow managed to get through to her again & expressed my concern at having no revert. I was told that she was unable to conncet to the franchisee!!!! ---WOW ..What a coordinator!!!
All my attempts to contact Sona the other coordinator on 26372486 were in vain.
The following day inspite of reminding the franchisee about the time specified for attending to the complain the technician arrived around 12.30pm. Sine no one was available at home we had to request our neighbours to attend to it. (..IFB is so considerate!!!)
The technician opened up the washing machine & declared the water pump defunct which had already been conveyed. The technician left with the machine open right in the middle of the kitchen with the assurance of returning with the part on the 7th May 2011.
On contacting them again on the 7th May I was told that the part is not available & I would have to wait. On being told that the machine was lying open, I was informed that they would come & assemble it immediately whicjh thet never did.
I tried the whole day to get in touch with your so called branch coordinators namely Ms Geetanjali & Soma on 30889678 & 26372486 but to no avail.
Exasperated & disgusted I somehow managed to get hold of Mr Mathur, IFB Branch Manager & expressed my utter disgust over the kind of services being provided. He assured me that it would be attended to immediately which unfortunately never happened.
All my details were SMSed to him. Efforts to contact him thereafter were futile.

IFB Washing Machine — Harassment & Demand of money
I had bought a fully autmatic washing machine from IFB Model no. AW60-8062 on 10.12.2008. The machine is under warranty till 09.12.12. I have faced many problems from day one of purchase which were resolved only after intervention from this forum. Recently the machine has again stopped working. After making a complaint I was informed by the Service Head, Delhi Ms Anuradha that I should have "kept the machine away from water" probably IFB expects consumers to use petrol or kerosene to wash clothes. I was informed very rudely by the lady that no service will be provided to us until we pay 3500 for changing the body of the machine. I have ample customer complaints to prove that the body of the machine has been spoil due to no service from IFB rather than any other problem. Kindly look into the matter as this is blackmail in the name of consumer service. The complaint no. is 6298654 dated 03.05.2011. sir

IFB — Lack of Service in Warranty Period
I purchased an IFB fully automatic top loading washing machine Model number AW7233, Sr. no 80700301 on 12/Jan/2010 which has been out of order for the since 28/04/11 and I registered a complaint on IFB’s Toll Free number on 30/04/11 under complaint no. 6282112. The Machine is under Warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase i.e till 11/01/14The local technicians in Trivandrum attended within a couple of days, and after inspection declared that some part has burnt and it has to be procured from Kochi.
From that day both the IFB local technician Mr. Shyam Lal in Trivandrum have been dilly dallying with a promise of Service but quoting that part is not available and the Toll Free helpdesk saying that the matter has been escalated.
Apart from the fact the severe inconvenience we are undergoing due to the absence of a Washing Machine the IFB still maintains their nonchalant attitude.
Today I was able to get in touch, through the Toll Free number, with one Mr. Anil, who is supposed to be the Area Sales Manager and I got a very rude shock with his attitude. He said we should consider it a favour that he was even connected to a customer and he could have very well switched off his mobile.
With such an attitude of the company and their representatives I am not sure if the machine will ever be attended to in the near future.
The Toll Free helpdesk gave me an email id [protected]@ifbglobal.com for lodging a complaint but as expected there is no response from there too.
Please help.
IFB washing machine.Model Digital 6kg — not go to the next programme
we bought IFB washing mechine Modal Digital 6kg, on 7th April 2008 in Vasanth & Co Trichy. my mechine not moving to the next programme. It stood only on wash programme. After loading it happen then with in twenty seconds water over fllow through soap box. Nearly this problem took place two times. first time we book through call center they sent a person. he told to change a part. we accepted to change it. Again now we face the same problemme. Please consider our complaint soon. Thankyou. My complaint no. 6317520 dated 06/05/11 for IFB machine under AMC is not being attended, I have reminded them everyday and call center says it will be attended today but nobody comes. What action can we take? i had talk with Mr Mohit Bajaj on 12-13-14/05/11 but nobody has attended the comlaint. Kindly look in to the matter.
