I am facing problems with my IFB washin machine(Model no.-Elena series) since last month(29 april).
I have registered a complain with the IFB people(complaint no.[protected], but there is no response from them inspite of me calling them again & again.
the visited technician(Arminder) suggest us to change the drum but its not in the stock after few days i personally call to the service center and the gave me the number([protected]) of anuradha mam she said the drum is in our stock and will solve the problem tomm. by sending the technician but till todays date[protected] no one is coming
I want them to repair or replace the machine since it is under warranty period still.

I purchased the IFB washing machine 7.0kg.model AW 7233, srl.No.80700349 from QRS Retail Ltd, Tc25/2498, MG Road, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 by paying Rs.17600/- and an additional amount of Rs.1773/- towards extended warranty effective from 23/12/2010 to 22/12/2012. A few months after the purchase it was noticed that the machine had developed rust in the innerside of the cabin apparently due to use of poor quality material.Though the matter was reported to the dealer/ service people, they have refused to set it right.My letter dt.09/3/2011 sent through speed post (No.EL[protected]IN) to the General Manager,IFB Industries Ltd, Plot No. IND-5,Sector-1, East calcutta Township,Calcutta-700078 has also not produced any response.The attitude of the Company is a blatant voilation of the rights of the consumer. IFB/ washing machine — not doing AMC and not provide any services
I have send an on dated 11-5-11 email to ifb before this complaint. I have got a call from IFb & had a words to miss Gitanjali that she will help me do the needful as soon as possible but till now i donot have any positive response from your side i[censored] will not take an positive action till monday or tuesday i will apporach to consumer court against your company. pondicherry service centre service is very poor, this mail request will be continued until the product is serviced.

Even after so many times keep on sending the mail for IFB washing machine service, not yet the problem is solved. the request was initially posted on 2nd may 2011 and nearly 20 days, we have been waiting for the service. the reason they said 15 days before was the locker is broken, but it was actually happened 3 months before, even though the machine was functioning. the drum fails to rotate is not first time, so far nearly 4 times the similar problem was happened.
at least the person has to come and attend the fault, simply he came 15 days before and said lock was broken, its not functioning, he was not at all listened what we said.
we sorry to say that we have never get such a poor response and service from any other company home appliances we have been using except your IFB product.
inform the pondicherry service technicians to do the service at the earliest.
please avoid, simply making a phone call and ask the similar problem.

I want to let everyone know that I bought a IFB Senator DX washing machine that was completely faulty even as it reached my home for the first time.I was cheated right from the start, when i bought the machine.The employees at a NEXT showroom(where i bought) said that demonstration cannot be done at the showroom and I had to get it home.
Even in its first run when an IFB associate installed the machine it made LOT OF NOISE, he remarked that the product is faulty. Now I have been after these guys since then.Made hundreds of phone calls. The one very disturbing answer I get is that the product is already bought and hence it cannot be replaced - It can only be fixed. Now here something more disturbing. As I lodged a complaint with IFB about the faulty machine, technicians kept coming and going without any solution, no solution. I kept arguing I want a replaced working product. They kept dragging the situation, opened the machine did something and make some stupid excuse everytime. That some spring has to replaced, you need a stand or stabilizer is require.I did everything.You wont believe it has been an year now. Still no solution. No IFB associate answers my call.Technicians make stupid excuses and leave.
There was a customer satisfaction certificate that had to be filled by me but the technicians never referred to it because it was going to be negative.I have appliances at home from different companies and only one IFB appliance because someone said they are the best washing machine manufacturers.And that is the only one that is faulty. Really pathetic product and Unacceptable customer service.
For anyone going for a machine never go for IFB, i indeed found out from many that there washing machine produces loud noise.Never Buy IFB. Period

I am a resident of hyderabad.i bought a ifb front loading machine in 2007.since then I have not been living in peace.I understand it can have problems but not something which the service personnel cannot rectify.the sevice engineers in the Khairatabad franchise have very limited knowlwdge. They cannot identify a problem.They identify it wrongly and then leave you in a lurch.Right now I am facing this problem.one person came and replaced parts which were not supposed to be replaced as per another person who visited last.The front office executive ms reena doesnt respond to the call as she knows she cannot get the problem solved.she sent another trainer yesterday who identified a different problem, promised to get the spare part in an hours time and vanished.I am still waiting for the machine to get rectified.My advice is not to buy any goods of the said brand not because the product is bad but because of the service which the company cannot provide.(dated[protected]

I registered a complaint on the 3rd of june 2011 regarding my IFB washing machine ELENA DX which has a 4year warrenty out of which more than two years are still remainng. has a door problem. i got the complaint number6471607. but that was all no mechanic was sent. then after contineous calling they sent a technician who came with unprepared to deal with the problem when it was clearly told at the time of registering the complaint that the door lock has broken. he just checked it and went promising he would come the next day. but that was just a blank promise. then again after repeated calls to the customer centre they gave us the SERVICE EXECUTIVES (MR. PRANIT)cell no. he said he would personally look into the matter. but that too was a blind promise. after repeated calls we got the SENIOR SERVICE MANAGERS ( MR. SHAILESHS)no. but he too like the rest was nothing better. so we kept calling the customercare repeatedly. they gave us a silly answer saying that the part which they ordered had not come. finally after a weeks time another technician came and replaced the lock but then the same problem persists. and when we tell him he says that now the full door has to be replaced and the calls are just being answered with promisses of comming the next day, but tomorrow never comes. is this the way IFB TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS. I would never suggest anybody to go in for any IFB product.

IFB / Aw0 - 806 — Callous customer Care
I have the IFB Top loading Washing M/c with model noAW0-806. It has been inoperational since 3 months now.
Repeated compaints to Cust service Centre in Mumbai([protected]) haven't helped. I don't know why you guys have outsourced to such incompetent ppl ( i ma not sure of the name is Global) ...
There a lady who picks up call ( don't kow her name) who's absolutely worthless .. asks to call after 5 mins / 10 mins / 30 mins and so on .
There's a guy named Manjunath who has been duping me since last 2 months . Have called his mob ([protected]) at least 30 times and he kept making false promises every other day that engineer will come.
Towards the later stage Manjunath stopped taking calls.
I then escalated things to their manager , Mr Kumar ([protected]) who turned out to be another duper no better than Manjunath. Promised a lot in terms of getting things done in a weel and a month has passed .
I further got the no of their boss Mr Shashank ([protected]) who turned out to be a diff level than his subordinates. he just doesnt pick up his calls - so oblivious of customer pains / issues.
I have complaiedn numerous times at your IFB toll free no [protected]
Till date my machine is still lying unoperational .
The other part of the whole ordeal is I have done an extended warranty costing Rs 2382/-.
Amidst all this, there's a guy named Brijesh ([protected]) who's lent a helping ear and at least tried helping to his capacity.
My simple qn to you is this : what are these guys ( Kumar , Manjunath , the lady, Shashank ) getting oaid for ? For duping customers who have paid AMCs and suffer because of the sheer callousness / incapability of the guys you have outsourced to ?
Who's responsible for the amount of suffering that we as customer's have gone through ?
I for sure am not recommending IFB to any of my near and dear ones.
I have already registered compaints on the consumer grievance forum .( was not surprised to see a great no complaints against IFB's customer care)
I will take this a step ahead now onto my social networking connections and spread the message of callousness on part of IFB support guys.
If any one of you from IFB is readin this, pls try to address - your customer support has sucked big time and the whole episode is just terrible .. ACT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE for you guys. .
