[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I would not have purchased the IFB washing machine, if I have gone through all the above complaints. I have registered my complaint on 31.05.2012. No positive response till date(06.06.2012) from IFB. I do not know the procedure to approach consumer court. The consumer court also should pass necessary orders to ban the product of the manufactures like IFB so that innocent consumers will not get cheated.

All complaints are true regarding most of cases. So we don, t hesitate to spoil their images in the public. Atleast try to make your problems to be published in the local dailies, even by bit notices to the area in which such fruad people are living.

We are using 15 nos IFB Washing machine (7 kg).fully automatic had complained to IFB call center now more than week ago that machine is not working but your Executive Mr Deepak(Mob No [protected]) refused take our complain, where as all our machine are in warranty period please look into it seriously & do the needful urgently
I am based in Dehradun and am facing the same problem. Its been over a year now since the time I have paid for the AMC and till date there has been not a single visit from the support centre.
The indifferent attitude by the service staff is most annoying. Hope someone from the company is reading the feedbacks.

I bought my IFB front loading washing machine in Dec 2009. It still falls in the warranty period which is 4 yrs from the date of purchase. On the 12 th of July I had lodged a complaint in your call centre that my machine is not working. The official from the service centre came the next day to check the machine and said that it was not functioning because it was overloaded. However, it did not function the very next day as well. As a PROTOCOL i RE- LODGED THE COMPLAINT again in the call centre on 14th, then the 23rd, then 26th, 27th, 28th and then the 30th but in vain. Everytime I called there was somebody new who was attending to me and I re explained the problem to them again and again and I was always told that my complaint was officially lodged only on the 26th since there was a technical error in the system previously. Each one of them told me that services would be prvided with 24hrs but nothing has happened till date. In the meanwile I called the official service centre of my area on the 28th to check if they have received a message from the company.I was told that they had just got the message and the service personell would come only when there are no rains. It is the 31st of July today and I am still looking for help for my washing machine to function. We are a working doctor couple with a hectic schedule and my work is paralysed because my washing machine is not functioning for 20 days now. If these are the after sale services of your company and if the people at your service centers have such a callous attitude then I'm sorry to say IFB makes false promises to the public to hike its sales. There is nothing like service within 24hrs!!! I am petrified now since it is now an everyday routine for us to just make calls and receive no help. I have been patient enough but nothing seems to be happening. My customer code is 414362. My ticket no. is 9281562 and I am based in Delhi. Looking forward to your kind co operation otherwise I will have to approach the Customer Forum.
I am facing a lot of problem with my service provider True Care from Chennai...they are not solving the problem...in the last 10 days 5 technicians have come and gone each one giving a different solution...but finally they end doing nothing...we are made to talk only to the jr level staff who only keep saying sorry, sorry. Sorry..that is not what we wantmto hear...we are not able to talk to senior persons...mr.manoj's number was given to me..I dialled but he is not answering the call...I am using IFB for the last 25 yrs...definitely my next washing machine will not be IFB...

i am a user of IFB washing machine for approximately 15 years and are taking AMC regularly for the same. for the past 2 months i am facing the problem in it and regularly complaining for the same on the help line number but no solution has been come out yet. the helpline executive mentioned that the complaint cannot be rectified from our end so need to contact Mr Srivastav. Mr. srivastav has given assurance several times that the problem will be soon rectified. since last 15 days who so ever attends the call he asks Mr. Srivastav to attend the call but he refuses to do so. moreover today Mr. Atul attended the call and asked us to take the AMC money back as he is unable to fix the machine. so please let me know why does the company sell a product for which it cannot give after sales service and why you have appointed this type of rude staff who doesn't even know how to talk to an old lady like me who is 72 years old. moreover we have incurred Rs 50000 for the laundry outside. please advice how to go about it.
My washing machine Executive Elite is under AMC. I have made complaint against Mr. SANDEEP, Mechanic from IFB Service Centre, PANCHKULA for his mibehaviour and not attending the complaint. Complaint no.is10048659. No one is bothered. I have brought the matter to Seniors ( Mr, Sachin/Ravi & others) at IFB office Hyderabad, as well as Panchkula Service Centre. Many E-Mails and calls at toll no. have been sent/made NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR. LOOK INTO IT IMMEDIATELY.
Front Loading Digital 7Kg Washing Machine sr no.[protected] was purchased from Maadan Electronics shop no. 4, 5 Jagadhari Road, Ambala Cantt with a warranty till 13th October 2013 .
The machine became out of order . The complaint was sent to Madaan Electronics who conveyed the same to the service centre of IFB Ambala Cantt. I have also made several calls to the service centre and the mechanic paid a visit to my place on 11th October . He explained that the front chip of the machine had some problem with some switch and assured me that he would get it from his office on 14th October. Neither he came again nor he informed me about the chip. I made many calls to the service centre but nobody picks up the phone at tel no. [protected], [protected]-Mr. Anil Kumar .Again I went to service centre, met Anil Kumar, on 22nd Oct, 2012, he assured to send engineer in the evening or tomorrow, but as usual, no body turned up, talked to your Karnal Office today, but of no avail. I would request the authorities to kindly look into the matter and get my washing machine repaired at the earliest.
Otherwise I will be constrained to sue all the concerned including manufacturer, seller, service agent for all the humiliation, inconvenience and for misguiding the the customers with fall promises to give after sale service

Subject-Regarding after sale service of IFB washing machine under Extended Warranty Sr No:-035721(Valid Upto 25/05/2013)

Hi,

I am IFB customer and using IFB washing machine for the last twenty years and this is the third washing machine of capacity 7 kg I am using at present.

Till now I used to recommend and praise the service provided by IFB company to my colleagues and friends.

I am sorry to inform you at present the service provided by your company/franchise is horrible.I have registered the complaint for the washing machine to your call centre on[protected] indicating the problem in my machine.

After two days technician Mr Vijay Kumar visited and asked for the extended warranty papers.We had shown him the papers then he asked for the photocopy of papers.

My Wife was alone at home at that time she assured him that I will get the photocopy done as soon as my husband returns home in another half an hour in the meanwhile please look into the machine problem.

He didn't had a look at it and left.After that we contacted your service station number of times requesting them to please send technician to have a look at machine problem.They were behaving very rudely and avoiding to attend the complaint with a reason we don't have the record of extended warranty (which is not true) you can check our warranty record by the serial number provided in subject line.

On top of it after two days your technician came and we handed over the photocopy of the extended warranty and till date the problem is not solved.

Your service station persons Sonia/Vikas etc behaving as if we are begging from them or we have done some crime by purchasing IFB machine with a extended warranty services.

I have enquired from my colleagues as well who are using IFB machine they are also having similar problem and not happy with your present service Provider.

Request you to kindly look into the above matter and take necessary action to provide immediate solution for the problem we are facing, .

Feel very disappointed and let down because up o n contacting during the past 6 weeks, your Malappuram Office[protected] always responds that a representative is on his way to our address, but it has not happened.
It all started when I received a phone call on my mob:[protected] on day and the caller identified himself to be a representative of IFB on his rounds and would be visiting our home with an offer of exchange.
We do have an IFB machine which has bee giving us trouble since the time we took it home and were very keen to receive him.
The last we heard from him was about a month back when he said he could not make it to our place for reasons best known to him and that if we wanted an exchange we may contact his office.
We have been contacting his office during the past weeks and the response we got was that someone was on his way.
Today when I contacted the man who took the phone said that the offer no longer stands.
Very curious and funny how the system functions.
Remember we were very eager to have an IFB and still believes that it is one of the best available and that the problem of excessive sound in our machine is perhaps an aberration.
But the functioning of your network calls for a thorough check, if you wont mind.
Our home is right on the State Highway and there is no problem of access at all.
A word in reply would be highly appreciated.
A mail posted about a week back still remains unanswered as well !!!

My IFB washing machine model AW 6563 soap disc has been hanged somewhere in between machine, as you have kept it unattached with the machine, as it was in LG previous machine. Due to this i am not using it and complained in your customer service, but nobody turned up. my complaint no. is 10268316. Of course, this problem never came in my earlier LG machine. Your this unattached soap disc is very risky and I wonder how you not made any improvement and thought to improve this problem.

kindly look into thematter and send the service man to take out the soap disc in order to start the machine.

It looks like the service levels across cities is terrible. I bought an elite vx washing machine worth about 30k on 31 July and the motor broke on 7 th dec. A complaint placed on 8th -a rude technician who gave me a false name and multiple calls later, they came home on 10th. Promised resolution in 2 days. Escalations dont help, area sales manager Bharat, promises call backs, does not keep them, disconnects calls, doesnT respond to text messages. I want to return the machine -the quality is terrible enough for the machine to go bust in 4months and the service which I will clearly need for this machine is terrifying. I am starting to worry about such bad tempered people having access to my home number. iFB leaders, I just want to return my machine. Please help.
