[Resolved] IFB Washing Machine — Extremely Poor Service | |||
I had lodged the complaint to IFB helpline some 20 days back for repair of IFB washing machine 7 Kg digital fully automatic. Engineer had come to attend the complaint after many calls and many days. He gave us the estimate of Rs.7000/- for replacing door lock and PCB. We agreed. Even after replacing PCB and 3 or 4 visits of Engineer, my machine is still not working. Now, the engineer is not listening to us and help centre is asking to lodge the complaint again while the first complaint is not closed yet. Engineer has taken visit charges. My complaint against IFB service centre is, delay in attending the compaint, not picking up the telephone, Unskilled engineers and high amount of maintenance cost. IFB is not at all user friendly in India. Faulty PCB is common complaint of IFB. I have registered a complaint on 23 .07. 2009 at 10.30 am (my machine is not working, technition told that board have to be changed.but still they have not repair my machine. i am sorry to say that we are ashamed your service

Inspite of calling u so many times, you people have not taken any interest in rectifying the machine. I further dont want to keep calling all sorts of managers who have not taken any interest in clearing it. It will have serious repercussions in future. I will dare the company by taking them to the consumer court without fail i[censored] dont clear the mess within 7 days. You have taken the customer for granted and taken us for the ride all these days. I have all the details of the machine and sue the company if not done within the stipulated period. Please get it done as soon as possible.
We are fighting only for our rights nothing else. please take necessary action. I t is unfortunate to buy an IFB product which is not worth the good service. Your managers dont receive our calls when we call from our numbers. I really dont know what is happening. Please respond to this mail.

My washing machine (Executive Plus) is under AMC. My customer ID is 10443839. and complaint number is 14124131.
My machine turned faulty 2 months ago after many calls, constant reminders the technician came and attended. The bearing were changed then. Now within 3 months again the tub is vibrating badly, very loud noise is produced and sometimes the machine even moves forward while running as the vibrations are so heavy. I registered my complaint on 27th October. After a reminder a technician visited and again declared that the bearing have turned faulty and must be changed. He committed to do so by next two days which never came. Almost after 7-8 calls done to the customer care i am told that the technician will visit the next or same day but nothing has resulted yet. The numbers I am given to contact to (of senior managers or franchise head) are never answered. To my shock the bearings last only two months and the service is turning worse day by day.Earlier call made to higher authorities were answered and solution found. even this medium has been shut down now. I am an unsatisfied now felling betrayed customer of IFB and do not recommend anybody else to buy the product of the company.

This sort of attitude towards consumer complains is not called for. someone definately needs to look into this situation, and provide measures to maintain the consumers trust in the company
