In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Dear sir,
when i am boarding the train i am finding a discomfortness by seeing the congested system as compared to before.
i am worried when we these systems will be revoked.
people are traveling like a pegion and animals, we have to reach our destinataion as there is no way to go in this devloped nation.
please and please revoke this 81 berth system and donot harass the passanger like the slaves.

I Mohit Khanna want to say that 3 daycotinuasly i have gone to book my reservation ticket to the reservation counter at varanasi city office Golghar, Maidagin ther I have seen the 4 brokers was handling the 20-25 reservation form and given to the ERS the other passengers are waiting till then when the brokers will go then there number will come.
So, sir i request you to stop the un authorised brokers so that the other passengers should not get any problem. I[censored] will sholve this problem i will be faithfull to u.I[censored] cant than i will take hand of media.

Indian Railway — NOT RECEIVD THE DINNER EVEN AFTER MAKING ADVANCE FULL PAYMENT

ON 6TH MAY 2009, I WAS TRAVELLING THRU KALKA MAIL FROM NEW DELHI TO HAWRAH, INDIA, BERTH- HA1- 2, HAD BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND PAID FOR THE THE MEALS INCLUDING DINNER. AT AROUND 20:30 PM, . THE TRAIN WAS AT MUGHAL SARAI RAILWAY STATION AND I WAS WAITING FOR THE DINNER TO COME, BUT SURPRISINGLY CAME TO KNOW THAT THE PANTRY CAR HAS BEEN DEPARTED. COMPLAINED TO COACH ATTENDENT. BUT ATTITUDE AGAIN SURPRISINGLY. LENIENT. THANKS TO THE INDIAN RAIL SERVICE. GOD BLESS.

Passangers did not travel on 24.02.2009 as they have missed their train. They have travelled 25.02.2009 by Lucknow Shatabdi Exp. to Lucknow. this may be confirmed by passenger list of Shatabdi on 25.02.2009 same passangers can not travel in two trains at a time.
Dear Mam,
I had a slipper ticket from Zamania Station(UP) to Kolkata Station in Lal Quila Exp.Due to unavoidable circumstance the train was canceled.I meat with station master(Zamania station) for cancling ticket they told me that the ticket is not canceled here you have to go at buxar station.I meat with station master at buxar station with facing a lots of problem but he reply that the ticket is not cancled here you have to go at Zamania station.I tried to cancel but i failed.
So I request to pls take a necessary step against this situation.

Sir, This is BALAJI J. I donot know what is going on INDIAN Railways, shemales are boarding at reserved compartments to collect money from unknown passengers. Shemale behavoiur is worest those who are traveling with ladies and kids are unable tolerate these actions. I have not seen any POLICE.

Indian Railways — travel in coaches which has been withdrawn

i was travelling from puri to asansol on train no 8449 ac 3tier coach pnr [protected]. the coach had side middle coach which was withdrawn from 1st january.the passenger list had only 32 seats alloted.but the tte was allocating the other berths.the other ac3tier coach had the normal seting arrangement.
My Pnr status shows the current Status as, coach no : S2 and berth no : 8, for Falaknama express 2703 at 10.06.2009 and Booking Status W/L 10 . But when i am printing the ticket it shows that Booking status and Current Status are both W/L 10.

I am sorry to inform u that i have faced a problem at the time of purchasing a ticket from out agency of indian railway just at the entrance of railway station of Ludhiana. while purchasing a ticket from ludhiana to Ferozpur ticket no.10109L4066 JTBS on[protected] at 04:50am he charged Rs 22/- instead of taking Rs 19+Rs 1=Rs 20/- when i said to charge Rs 20 then he refused to issue ticket. then hardly i have to took it as the train is going on.The following problems i had faced

1 - Out agency for railway ticket not displaying window no.
2 - Over charging from passengers
3 - Using foul language with passengers.

kindly look out the matter and do needfull to check the behaviour of out agencies.

But sorry to draw your attention that no attendent or the railway staff visited me. The berth was already occupied by another passenger, for which I had to travelled Malda standing.Please take action and inform me and refund my charges which is collected by you.

Subject: Complaint against our agement and problem faced during travel in Dehradun Express on 14 June 2009 from Roorkee to Ghaziabad and got ticket from Rookree Stn. vide ticket no.L[protected].

Respected Sir,

With due respect we Citizen of India, want to bring in to your kind attention about the problem we faced during the journey from Roorkee to Ghaziabad and face verious problem during the journey.

1. No facility of Meals (Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch) nothing serve at our cost. Even did not get any tea at our cost .
2. Toilets were so dirty and impossible to use .

3. No.arrangement were found of water cooler at Muzaffarnagar, Devband, Khatauli, Meerut & New Ghaziabad station hot water was available at following stations taps and howker selling mineral water which was very poor quality.

4 There were arrangement of Two Coaches(Gen).only even last 10-12 year passed but your department unable to increased coaches.

5 Even I am travelling in Express train but actual it was passenger train.Train Driver stop train where he was to stop.
4. Language problem with the attending person .

5. No person for housekeeping .

We request you to kindly pay attention on our complaint and take necessary action so that passenger would not face these problems in future

Respected Sir/Madam,
My name is prabhu and my native place is kovilpatti, i and my family usually travel in mumbai - nagarcoil express ie train no 6339 and 6340 in 2tier Ac in that there is only one 3tier coach and one 2tier coach ie only 60-70 seats in that also half gets booked to pass holders and different quotas because we are finding it difficult to get tickets even if we book 3 months before that to at morning 8am and ticket goes in waiting list and which doesnt gets confirmed afterwards so my request is to increase the no of Ac coaches make it two 3tier and two 2tier Ac coaches the ticket goes in waiting list because there is a demand so plz increase the no of coaches so that the problem doesnt arise and also there is no tatkal quota in Ac coaches of mum - nagarcoil exp and also the maintainence of Ac coaches is very bad cockroches and rats are roaming here and there so plz take my complaint seriously and i hope it gets solved soon

Indian Railways — About WL ticket

Dear Sir/ Mam,


I had purchase W/L-3 tatkal e-ticket for the train 9106-HW-ADI-Mail from Delhi to Ahemdabad PNR No.[protected] on 26.05.09. I reached on platform of old Delhi Railway Station where above cited train was standing and met with TT who was holding the chart of IInd AC. TT told me that your ticket has not been confirmed and you should leave the platform immediately.

I again requested that my W/L no. is only 03 and certainly it would have been confirmed. He again told me that you are still waitlisted and you are not authorized to board the train.

After few minute I again met with concern TT and told that I am a public servant and going to Ahemdabad for an urgent work please check my ticket carefully and help me. 2 persons who was also standing with TT at platform started abusing me and warn me to leave the platform immediately.

I left the platform immediately and reached my destination at NDDB Anand after a lot of inconvenient occurs to me while traveling by road.

When I contact IRCTC for refund of my ticket, I came to know that my reservation was confirmed and TT of IInd AC has misguided me and forced me to leave the station.

Now, I am requesting you to kindly look into the matter and setup a enquiry and refund of Rs. 1525/- to me at the earliest. If the Railway staff is doing such type of illegal and dirty work in the capital of the country, then what will happen in small cities in the country?

My only question is that what the action could be taken againt them.In our Bilaspur Rain Mandal TTE takes 30 to 100 rupees and the permit non bonafides in sleepar and by paying 100 to 300 you can get place in A/c even in a crowdy season.They are earning lacs of rupees daily .What our government is doing .Let me permit I will arrange vediography of this golmal .I feel every one is involved in this money making process

Indian Railways — Poor management of train traffic

On 19/20 night of jun09 we had to board train no 2569 Garib rath express from Allahabad stn for going to Delhi.As usual it was 2 hrs late and was supposed to reach PF no 3 as intimated by rly auth.As the train was arriving it was announced that it is reaching PF no 1 and not PF no3 as a result we had to rush to the PF no1 after crossing the bridge. There was no indication of the loc of bogies from the engine and the bogies were placed in reverse order ie the bogie with higher no ahead and the rest with descending order creating confusion among the passengers due to which some of the passengers have to run to board the train as a result of which many passengers fell down while boarding the train since the train stops only for 3 min. This is not the way of functioning of rlys. Following points need to be investigated by conducting a proper inquiry.
1 Why adequate time was not given to the passengers to shift the platform from PF NO 3 to PF NO1 and announcement was delayed?
2 Why was the platform changed at the last moment causing heavy inconvinience to everyone especially to the older people who could not run quickly and reach the other platform
3 Why no intimation regarding the position of bogie from the engine was given at the inquiry office, internet, or by7 the local staff like TTE available on the platforms or at the help booths where everyone replied in no or on tele no 139 which is supposed to keep the passengers informed.
4 If such a lapse had taken place why adequate time was not given to the passengers to board the train by incresing the stoppage time of the train which was only 3 min after which the train moved and many passengers fell down who were running to board the train thereby jeopardising with the safety of the passengers.
5 What action did Dy ss operating took to rectify the lapse ?
This has shattered the confidence of many o[censored]s on the safety of passengers and not caring attitude of the rly staff towards the passengers on whom the Indian Railways thrives.
Please take necessary disciplinary action against the defaulters and publish action taken against the defaulters in all leading newspapers within 15 days of this incidence to restore faith in the Indian Railways that such complaints are attended to in the interst of the citizens of this country as the railway staff themselves are of the opinion that writing this complaint is a waste of time as no action will be taken and will be thrown in a dustbin or buried in the files

Indian Railways — lack of water and sanitation facilities in the kanyakumari express

Dear Sir,

I am a frequent traveler in Kanyakumari express which starts from bangalore to Nagercoil. From past some time, there is a lack of water in the toilets as well as the washbasins in this train. As soon as the train reaches palghat at around 7 in the morning the water is completely gone, from there the travelers have great difficulty in using the toilets and because of this problem the stench continues for the whole journey and as a result infections.

The money taken for per ticket is around 400 rs per head if booked in tatkal if so much money is taken and no facility is provided then why the hell is this service kept?

Sir, I request you to kindly do something about this problem.
