[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Miss management at AC coaches

In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

My experience says Railway service neither improved nor the complaints lodged are attended by any body.Day by day things are going bad to worse.
This is to whom the person is going to take an action against my compliant and i wonder that gets materialized...

I stay in Gurgaon and plan on sending my two wheeler to Hyderabad hence i need some information like what are the parcel office timings, how much it costs and how many days it will take to collect my bike at Hyderabad. I have tried a lot to get the Parcel office contact number but everything in vain. I had spoke to Hazarat Nizamuddin inquiry office but they said they don't have the parcel office information. They are the ones who should be able to provide me with parcel office contact information but the answer i got back is NO. If they doesn't know this information then how should i come to know being a passenger?? How funny it is ...?? Now the only option which i have is to go to the parcel office ( Hazrat Nizamuddin ) with my bike which is 40 km far away from Gurgaon and in case of lacking anything from my side then again i have to come back with required documents.

Also i have seen many problems with website irctc.com while booking the tickets as it always gives the problem like server is down and plz try again later... We should feel guilty the way Indian railway government is providing the services and the way we are being treated during the journey. Nothing is hygienic and absolutely the worst/pathetic (whatever you call ) smell welcomes you always when you enter into the train. Plz mind that i am talking about all the coaches that is including general and all AC coaches.

Moreover, We are being charged very high as 2 tier a/c fare is almost same to airfare ticket but then we are not being served properly and not sure who is the responsible to take care of certain things as listed above... It would be really appreciated in case of any action is taken against my complaint...

i went kalyan station for book ticket but there was to many agent capture the reservation counter.i got my ticket wait list from lokmani tilak to gorakhpur my pnr in[protected].

Dear Sir,

You have Introduced Tri-weekly garibrath train from Yeswanthpur to kochuveli (No:2257) and Kocuveli to Yeshwathpur. (No:2258)

At present the schedule & timing of this is absolutely wrong and not useful.

The timing shedule can be revised as following.

Train No : 2257 has to start from Yeshwathpur on every Friday and Saturday evening @8pm.and Train No : 2258 has to start from Kochuveli on every Saturday & Sunday afternoon to reach Bangalore(Yeshwanthpur) early morning @ 5am.

This will help all the passengers and also to make the service profitable

Expecting a quick action from railway

(Please understand that friday, saturday, thursday more peoples will be going from bangalore to kerala and saturday, sunday and monday more peoples will be going to bangalore from kerala.)

The there is no official site which is providing any information regarding the Local Train and MMTS trains. The official site www.indianrail.gov.in has link to South Central Railways, but that page has a error in it and it not opening. The time table given at secunderabad railway station is not showing the changed timing of the local train. Please update the local and MMTS train timings at railway stations.
I am Unable to book ticket for 18 July 2009 from Kanpur(CNB) to secunderabad(SC) train number 2591, but i am able to book for 11 July 2009.

Please clarify about this.

Subject : No safety provided for ladies traveling in the morning local train from Kuppam to Bangalore City (pushpull)


Respected Sir,

I travel daily to Bangalore from Bangarpet by a local train which starts from kuppam.
There is a ladies compartment, but only for name sake, it is like a general compartment. Everyday the ladies need to fight with the gents to get a place. The guys who get into the ladies compartment make dirty statements if any lady ask them to leave the compartment. Initially due to this problem, one or two bangarpet railway police use to come in ladies compartment for our safety. but now a days they dont come because of which we are facing this problem. I request you to kindly help us regarding this issue.
I have lodged my complaint here having hope that i will get some positive response.

As we know most of the TC are currupted means they are checking the availibility/unavailibility of the passenger.If the passenger is not come they are selling those seats to passenger who will give them 100 or 200 rupees, instead of OFFERING berth to waiting 1st or next candidate.
I was travelling by Karnataka express dated 23rd April, 2009.Due to election date many Banglore residence peoples are came for voting while returning.Most of the peoples having on waiiting list.
At bangalore station TC were cooperating with the passenger since they are having the seriousness of the voting day.Thankful to them.
But on Gulberga station, in the early morining aroung 6am TC was checking all berth and those passenger not came or get down in the night, those seats they are offering to just started journey from gulberga by selling berth at Rs.200/-
Govt. is giving them very good salary. But still people are so hungry for money, because of this they are disturbing passenger in the early morning and informing them that we sold this berth to those who gave us money.

Secong thing is that on reservation counter(my personnel experianve at Wadala-Mumbai) the person who is on counter is talking on mobile or some other fellow may be his college instead of doing his work.
After all this, after getting the ticket not returning the change one/two/three rupees.

With such emploees what action you can take?

In mumbai, local transport BEST BUSES conductor are honest.These reservation counter fellows has to learn from these honest conductors.
I travelled by AC First Class from Ranchi to Howrah on 30th April 09. Ticket no. [protected] Coach HA2 Cabin A lower berth. The AC was not working at all and the mechanic was unable to do anything about it. This is pathetic and some action needs to be taken against the errant official. The TTE's name was Mr.Murmu and he suggested that every other cabin is ok except ours while other passengers from other cabins also came out complaining about the heat. In a closed compartment with no ventilation an AC coach without cooling can be dangerous.

Indian Railway — Non providing of bearths as per ticket

Respected Sir,

1. We had booked 6 bearths for the journey from Dibrugarg to Guwahati by 5960 Kamrup Exp for
journey commenced on 01 May 09 in AC III vide ticket #07451067, PNR #[protected].
2. On ticket, we were allotted bearths as per details mentioned below:-
33-LB, 34-MB, 35-UB, 36-LB, 37-MB, 38-UB.
3. On the day of journey coach #NF 03114 having capacity of 72 bearths was provided resulting the following location of bearths :-
33-UB, 34-SL, 35-SM, 36-SU, 37-LB, 38-MB
4. The new allotment of bearths was not in agreement of ticket issued which caused inconvienent to us . The journey was very uncomfortable.

gujrat travels — broken seat & giving bad words

my friends and me booked 5 ticket for ahmedabad from mount abu. when we entered in the bus we found the seat is broken & no one can seat on it.so my friend complain! they do nothing. but bus was empty.so i seats on another seat.but next station when passenger comes they get back me from the seat.when i complain the conductor give us bad words.when we call on headquter the cut our phones.no body listen us. please do something.is this our india?

Indian Railway Ballabgarh — Smoking

Dear sir / madam,

I am regular comuter of indian railway sector Ballabgarh to H. Nizamuddin (northen railway), we are facing regular humiliation during travelling. Smoking is prohibited at any public place, many peoples those who are also travelling in the same compartment use to smoke even we feel humilation and request to stop the smoking but no use. some time they use abusing language if we ask not to smoke in the compartment. we request that please do somthing to stop the smoking / humiliation during the travelling.

Student — Tatkal... A Scheme To ROB the Passengers!!!

Hi Everbody

Tatkal, this is a scheme to loot the people. I was trying to book my ticket to Guwahati from Delhi using tatkal. There were a total of 128 tickets in Rajdhani 3 A. Whn i logged in @ 7.55 it said wait till 8 and after repeated trying when i was able to enter it was 8.03am. but the thing is that all the tickets have Vanished by then.How it vanish in 3 mins is still amystery to me.
Anyways then i tried the Special Rajdhani that was available. They showed 32 tickets available. So, when i sent request for booking they did so, but what do i get when i look at the Berth no.???? its WL 14 down from WL 17. Who the Hell asked them to book a WL ticket for me??? And who will pay for the charges that i would be losing due to this accomodation of ticket to me in WL in TATKAL...

So ultimately its all a !!! Indian Railways sucks and with Monopoly Business being carried out the Govt. the condition of railaays is not going to improve. Trains running LATE and BAD FOOD at high price are just another of the few problems that is going to persist.

THESE WILL NEVER CHANGE AND NOBODY WILL LISTEN TO OUR COMPLAINTS

In addition tosuch problems one more thing for which i have opened this site is, I an regular traveller of delhi amritsar shatabdi express from the day it was introduced.It is a matter of surprise now a days that the train which is a prestigious train of our country and use to reach exactlyright time on its route stations now is totally flopped abd almost everyday amritsar shatabdi is reaching late at ludhiana station by half an hour or more.It is shameful for us as many foreign tourist are always there moving in this train to amritsar and i have seen discuussing them odd about it which is not good.
Yourgoodself is requested to checkup the timing schedule of this train from last few months specially reaching time of ludhiana by evenining shatabdi leaving delhi 4.35 p.m

To day[protected].) my both sons have to travel from PANVEL to KASARAGOD in train No 2654 Chandigarh-Kochuveli express.They have booked the seats about 20 days before and the waiting list no even today is 12 and 13. and the information we get is "chart is not prepared". actually the train had started from Chandigarh yesterday at 9. A.M. still now the latest position of the seat is not available. You are well aware that the difficulties facing by the passengers in such cases. So i request that the latest position of the seats confirmations should be available at least one day before the travel. In all the airlines the trimming every now and then of wait lists are made known to passengers . Since there are wide arrangements are there in telecommunications any sort of facility may be provided to inform the position by S.M.S.or by Email.
